En esta segunda parte, Druckmann continuó con esa idea de proyectar emociones, pero en esta ocasión sentimos que fue mucho más cercano y sentimental para el público, algunas situaciones inesperadas hacen que los personajes tomen más trascendencia y que cada una de las muertes se sienta muy real. Otro aspecto del que no podemos dejar de hablar es el gráfico, sin lugar a dudas aprovecharon absolutamente todo el poder que tenía la PS4 para dar y lograron unos escenarios muy bien logrados con una iluminación casi perfecta y acompañado por un 'soundtrack' y una combinación de sonidos que hacen la experiencia muy inmersiva.… Expand

    This game is simply a masterpiece and is the definition of a AAA game experience. I find it ridiculous people are review bombing it purely because they disagree with how the story was written. You can disagree with some of the decisions that were made story wise but it doesn’t take away from the master class artistry that has went into this game. Los desarrolladores logran, no que empatices con los personajes, sino convertirte en ellos. Rabia, desesperación, venganza... Perdón. El juego gráficamente te deja sin aliento, el game play con algunas mejoras pero sobre todo en el ámbito de la jugabilidad destaca su apuesta por la inclusividad teniendo una forma de juego para personas con impedimentos visuales.

    best game I've ever played. it left me with indelible emotions and deep experiences. a touching, sad, cruel story about ordinary people, their fears, pain and desire for revenge, which of course does not bring relief. everyone should go through it and make their own opinion, it is very personal.

    I finished it Tuesday night. Breathtakingly... hauntingly beautiful depiction of the cycle of violence and what it does to the human condition. Cant believe I said that about a computer game... but yeah phenomenal piece of art. It's honest like a book you'd read for english lit where you could write essays on it. Definitely a must experience game. Ellie and Joel will always have a warmI finished it Tuesday night.     The living proof that a game can be something more.
    It's a sad, real and moving story but at the same time you can find happiness and joy in the little thing, in the looks exchanged between characters and in the dialogues... like real life.
    As a game it has an incredible fun game-play improved compared to the first one

This Is an artistic masterpiece by Niel Druckmann 5/5 in my opinion. Gameplay, sound effects, graphics were all top notch and pushed this Swann dance of the PS4 even Further ! The only negative I could find was the non advancement of Ellie s immunity, we didn't learn anything new about nor did it make the world of YOU advance in any way. Overall a beautiful and amazing game for the ages, should be played and taught in schools… Expand

    One of the best story drive. games I’ve played in a while. I saw a lot of people did not like the story but I don’t understand where that criticism is coming from. I feel like people are over reacting because the writers took this game in a different route than the first.

    Exceptional game. There will probably never be another story or game experience as good as this in my lifetime. Nothing’s perfect - but this game and the series as a whole, is pretty damn close. Hats off to the Naughty Dog team and Neil Druckmann.

It’s a revolution in the gaming world always sterilised from subjects like LGBT. The way characters are built, the AI, the emotions you can feel while making every single choice (and kill) in this game are new std. and yes guys in real world we have LGBT and people can always die (even if cool and strong) so shut the f**k up with these 1/10 and at least play the game. Wouldn’t be surprised the see it ranked best PS4 game ever… Expand

    The Last Of Us 2 is the new peak reached by the world of video games. A fully engaging story that puts you crudely in front the human soul, without noodling the player. It's a game that involves you, overturns your certainties and pushes you to understand the characters and their stories.

    In my opinion, this game is a masterpiece! I finished it more than 10 days ago and I am still captivated by it. I am impressed by the storytelling, gameplay mechanics, stunning environments, acting performances and character development, and all the little but meaningful details you find all around.     I can see why players don't give this game high ratings beacuse the storyline didn't make everyone happy, but i think the way things happened was necessary to make this game the rollercoaster of feelings it is and in my sincere opinion as a big fan of the franchise and as a player of The Last of Us 2, i can say its the best game i ever played. 10/10

    Revenge and Forgiveness.
    Two side of the same coin, like the protagonists of this story.
    If the first one was a really good game, Part 2 goes beyond and reaches a depth like very few other games.
    From a game play perspective, TLOU Part 2 is fun and well-produced. Level design, lights, models, music and the OST... an outstanding job

    My new favourite game ever! Uncharted 4, Red Dead Redemption and God of War pushed this generation to the limits. The Last Of Us Part 2, in my humble opinion showed how the future of gaming is, in combination with a bold Story full of raw violence! I just love the game! Thank you Naughty Dog, thank you for pushing forward the gaming industry and culture.

    First of am gonna throw shots on the haters first, I know we all have our own opinions but hear me out. When I hear people say that Neil Druckman "RUINED" TLOU, you guys are using the wrong word in my opinion. You can say its bad that's it. And to the people who's having a hard time connecting with Abby and her friends, that's because you guys are just too connected with Joel that you don't care about Abby's story. Joel killed Abby's dad and saves Ellie just for his own ego, that's why Abby kills Joel. Yes Joel didn't have the send off that we all wanted but that's life man, we always don't get what we want. And I agree Naughty Dog did false advertise, I get that. I know we all expected the game to be another Joel and Ellie adventure, people just wants the same game all over again. But its also nice for naughty dog to do something different in the story. And to all the players who thinks Abby's and other charcters are poorly written, that's cause you guys are too connected with Joel. Joel is not the hero here, he's an anti-hero. Cause if he we're a hero, then he could've sacrificed Ellie and his ego, to save humanity, but Joel did the opposite. So after all the people Joel killed in that hospital, you will expect for a group or anyone to have their revenge. And Abby would've gotten her revenge when Ellie killed all of her friends, but what did Abby do? She let Ellie and Dina go. Abby isn't a bad person, theirs a reason why she killed Joel, and none of you care, cause one of you (sorry) are soft. I mean in the world where Ellie and Abby is born, you WILL expect someone to die in a violent way. Now I heard alot of gamers hate the ending, where Ellie left Dina and baby J.J just to go kill Abby, she returns, and she lost 2 fingers. That's cause even if she killed Abby, what will that cost? Abby killed Joel, and what does that cost? But what I think people hate more about this game is Joel's death, just cause he doesn't have a proper send off. And I agree they could've done a lot better. They could've done the way TellTale games send Lee off. But this is TLOU, expect the unexpected

    But those are just my opinion, might not be hame of the decade, but it is no doubt game of the year.
    If you think NaughtyDog RUINED TLOU, it's not naughty dog's fault, its just that the game isn't for some gamers.

    Btw I did hate the 6 scene
    They didn't need to add that.....

    This is a masterpiece about what really worth in life, a masterpiece about different kind of people. I waited 6 long years just to play this game, and when I read the firsts reviews, I get really upset thinking that I wasted time waiting. When I played for the first time, I felt a roller coaster of good to totally devastating feelings. This was the game that I was waiting for in a long time. Congrats, Naughty Dog, and a special congrats to all of the english and portuguese voice actors. One of the best games that I ever played in my life.    … Expand

Just finished a full play through, and I have to say from the start that I didn't read any spoilers leading up or follow much of the political rhetoric being thrown at the game, though I was aware of it. That being said being a fan of the first game..which I believe changed the way people thought about what a game could be..I was really apprehensive to play it seeing all the shade being thrown at it, not by political or ideologically minded people..but gamers who love the first one. Once I started playing though, it all dropped away and I honestly loved it..is it its predecessor..no..it was never going to be and quite frankly I've already played that game. The Last of us story, both part 1 and part 2 as a whole, is simply incredible and quite Frankley, unmatched in the world of video gaming. This game really pushes the boundaries of players comforts and doesn't shy away from doing the unthinkable to tell a brilliant story. This is NOT a fairytale and it embraces that! It takes the player through such an emotional rollercoaster...

    Unfortunately this is the main reason its been so slated. Sooooooo many people wanted it to this happy, loving fairytale game or even just a repeat of the first game. I take my hat off to Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog and anyone who worked on this game for this brave work of art. It is a massive achievement and a credit to everyone involved. And firmly smashes Naughty Dog as the BEST game developer. I've honestly never clenched onto a controller so tightly, or sat on the edge of my seat so far forward im damn near floating, anywhere near as much playing any other game to date than I did with this one.

    And i loved the first one, Including Joel, hes one of my all time favourite characters in gaming and despite what happens, I still ADORE this game. I genuinely can't praise it enough. Don't let these "reviewers" put you off, most of these negative reviews were made before the game had even been out 1 day. Its a 30 hour game... theres no way they played it enough to form an honest opinion and just like most things nower days, people just jumped an the band wagon to be heard. I've already finished it and I'm over half way through on my second playthrough... and as i said its a 30 hour game. Now more people have played through it and formed their own opinion the ratings are shooting up. And if this game never got leaked in the first place im sure most people give it 10/10s

    Anyway, In my opinion (and many many many others) this is THE BEST GAME OF THIS GENERATION and pretty much any game of any generation. Please, just go in with an open mind if you unfortunately saw the spoilers and just experience this whirlwind phenom.    … Expand

Вторая часть сильно паразитирует на первой, но делает это ювелирно, вычерпывая самые соки из эмоций игроков и их воспоминаний. Здешние отсылки являются не только теплым кремом на душу, но и сюжетными твистами, которые добавляют больше смысла в концепцию этого сюжетного тома идеи Нила Дракманна. Все эти моменты пронизывают до мурашек, а в сопровождении с душещипательным саундтреком Густаво Саонтьянолле... это просто невыразимо словами. Подобрать какие либо эмоции сложно для описания этого экстаза при совокуплении всего самого прекрасного в этой игре.

    Игра не перестает удивлять, даже рассчитывая на определенный, конкретный и логичный исход - она дарит очередной, не менее логичный, и объяснимый исход.

    Это я только заикнулся про сюжет. Геймплено эта игра - совершенная версия первой части. Как самостоятельный продукт она сильно проигрывает, но ей удалось разнообразить все, данные от первой части, механики, до их самого интересного развития. Графика и проработка здесь на уровне Red Dead Redemption 2. Труд сотен не будет недооценен. Это шедевр и игра года. Достойное и достаточно смелое продолжение всеми полюбившейся истории, которая расширила свой лор.

    Cara, esse é um dos jogo que você não vê saindo todos os anos, jogo muito muito bem trabalhado, gameplay fluída, personagens profundos e historia que realmente me marcou, todas as reviravoltas na historia, todos os sentimentos que eu nunca tinha sentido antes... INCRÍVEL. Obrigado naughtydog por essa experiência.

    What they wanted to do with the story is bold. There are no lazy writing or poor writing. Just some people are heartbroken because they wanted the story go different. But if you accept everything as it is you will enjoy with this dramatic story. So many tiny details both in gameplay and story. I will not even gonna talk about gameplay,graphic and phsyics they are exceptional.

It provided one of the most stunning, harrowing, conflicting, emotional, gut-wrenching and intense experiences of my life. It broke me in ways I can’t even begin to explain, it made me feel everything with such intensity that no other piece of fiction or media has been able to accomplish. You can have your opinion and disagree with some narrative choices, but Naughty Dog gave us a real story in a world where bad and horrible things happen. It was a story that needed to be told. And is brutally uncomfortable but equally astonishing. And you can’t deny either how well-crafted it is as well as the heart and soul poured into bringing this game to life. The gameplay, the visuals, animations and graphics are unparalleled and situates this game in a whole other level. So thank you Naughty Dog for delivering such a complex and beautifully crafted story and video game.

    This game is a true masterpiece. Dark, challenging, beautiful, complex and unforgettable. The themes of revenge and perspective left me thinking about this game long after I finished it. I understand the story might not have been what everyone expected or wanted but for me personally I was blown away.

    It’s thought-provoking and haunting. An emotional rollercoaster that broke me. The gameplay is incredible. The attention to detail blew me away. It felt so real. There’s so much to discover and I will definitely be playing it again.

This is trully a masterpiece: the graphics, the storytelling, the gameplay mechanics, you won't feel disapointed for any of those things.     Just... entirely worth it, I ended up buying it twice to buy the collectors edition. I let the leaks spoil the parts of the plot for me and I still enjoyed my time, the entire time. Wish I could play it all over again, unspoiled

    I can't begin to understand the other review here. The characters are, to me, extremely believable. I actually care for Ellie (and Dina) and the story is every bit as gripping as the first one. Sure there are things with the game that are less intriguing, running around in the open going from place A to place B for example. But these things does not diminish the fact that this game, this story, these characters are worthy of praise.

    This is a masterpiece. Story, gameplay, graphics, everything was on point. That ending wasn't a cliche, it was pure feelings still the end. I was so sad to see Ellie ended up alone.

    TLOU part 2 is really a very good game, the gameplay is improved compared to part 1, the sound in the game is very good, the graphics are very realistic and detailed, the plot a lot of people say is meaningless but for me then it conveyed a lot of meaningful messages, brought me a lot of emotions: happy, sad, angry, forgiving, merciful .... Playing to the end when I saw joel and I cried. 10/10

    The game does not deserve such fate. Covid which led to delay, spoilers leak and so on...
    And then, right after release, after MINUTES, the game got bombed with zeroes on metacritic... It is ridicilous. Really. You just red short review of the book and now think that you red and understand the whole book? LOL
    BTW, the game is monumental. And the plot is one of the pros (not cons).
    You really think that Druckmann ruined the franchise? Why? Because Abby led by the person holding the controller killed Joel? Wooo, Joel, how can he be wrong, he saved Ellie. And he was main protagonist of the first game. Yeah, that right. But Druckman did that risky step - he left player (Abby) to kill joel and then see why that happened. And... She got strong motivation to do that.
    Now let's talk 'bout SJW and lesbians... I live in pretty homophobic country (Russia), but it does not make me homophobic. It was a bit cringy when player finds out Lev's secret (it should be introduced different way), but Ellie's love to girls is not surprizing - for me it was all well explained in left behind DLC. So, now lets criticize every piece of art with lesbian love included - woohoo, Mulholland Dr. is a complete trash.
    I am really tired of writing all this already, so it looks like after few more lines i'll get exhausted. But f**k it, i'll continue.
    The hole game is about empathy, forgiveness and cycle of violence. The game just lets you see the consequences of your actions (those actions are yours as well - you played as Joel in the first game).
    When cricizing some parts of the plot (and especially ending), it looks like you guys lost CRITICAL parts of the story. And also - it is still new for players that some parts are not explained verbally - it's all about emotions, facial animations and even "acting by eyes". It is new for the industry since there are no games which are done on such hight level in terms of animation.
    That's the reason why in some Nolan's movies some characters are only needed to expose the story. And BTW, some people still find Nolan's movies sophisiticated.    … Expand

Beautiful and amazing. Graphics details are interesting too. Like the wire that collides and interacts with walls and glass. Snow footprints and many other examples.
    3. The way game influence on you. Plot twists, screamers. You understand why Ellie do all of this stuff, because you want to do the same thing. That is Last of Us II.
    4. Fight. You feel every punch, every shot, every mistake. You feel the weight of weapon, you feel the strength of character. Boss battles make you scream in horror. You can't really feel it if you didn't play the game.
    5. Guitar. Well come on. It is the best part of the game.
    Cons:
    1. Minor characters. I didn't like Dina and Jessie. The way how Dogs do characters' storytelling makes you punch the screen.
    2. Abby. She sucks, I want to kill her. I want to humiliate her and destroy the motherf***er. 3. Dina's nose.
    4. The ending. Just look at it.
