    The ending was beautiful, thank you for this story Neil. If you're at all a fan of the first game you'd be a fool to miss this game, tops it in every way gameplay wise and the story brings a weight to every action.

    definitely my favorite game of 2020 so far. I think the story is complete and shocking, and the gameplay and visual effects mark the highest level of the entire industry.

    Strong, deep, emotional, dark, violent, obsessive, sad and powerful game. This is the best game i've played in my entire life, and ive played a lot lol. I honestly think this is way better than the first installment

    This game is amazing. The Story isn’t perfect but it’s not bad either, it’s good enough to keep you interested with its bold twists and turns. Everything else though is phenomenal... The Visuals, The Gameplay, The Soundtrack, The Audio and The Acting will blow you away.

    This game is the very definition of a AAA game, don’t let people tell you this game is no good and not worth getting    This game is amazing.     I've been avoiding all news and reviews ever since its release. Haven't finished the game until July 2nd. Not sure these bombed reviews are real or fake, but I personally love it so much and I would not be hesitated to give it a 10.
    Currently on my New Game+ and half way of platinum it.

    I would not have hoped for better, a game that keeps you in suspense and full of twists. I loved everything, every scene, every character, every frame. I only gave ten because I can't give more!

But, I was wrong and I am so happy to say this is an another masterpiece of a game that every person should expirience once in their live. I am still can't get over the game but definitely can't wait for part 3 as well. Naughty dog you deserve to be praised love Joel & Ellie no one in gaming history can come even close.… Expand

    A brilliant sequel. Does the original justice. The gameplay can feel a bit to linear at some points but the storyline and overall experience make up for this.

    If the game was not a sequel to a game with one of the best stories in gaming then it would have been recieved much differently. But it is so we need to keep that in mind. The gameplay is really good i enjoyed every encounter and it was a blast to play through. But what people wanted out of the game they didnt get. They wanted a story near the same level as the first's. And this just didnt cut. The stories main push was when joel lost at a golf game to Abby. And you are meant to hate her. Which worked too well in the beginning. When you have to play half the game as someone who killed everyone's favorite character it will be hard to get them on your good side. I myself ended up liking Abby more as a person, because Ellie has no redeeming values. Ellie kills everyone and has no mercy. Even when Abby lets her live 2 times, she wants to kill Abby. And even when someone gets her what she wants she kills them. When playing as Abby you meet Lev and Yara. Abby is in a war with their people and even with that she feels bad enough to want to save them. Ellie is too caught up on revenge i just cant get myself to feel bad for her anymore. Joel is still my guy though. And i assure you if we didnt play as joel and ellie in the first game alot more people would agree with me. And the whole game was for nothing. Ellie never kills abby and just loses everything for nothing. Which gives us, the player who played as Ellie no teal payoff. This game isnt perfect. But people are giving way too much hate.     O jogo é excelente, ótima gameplay, história de tirar o fôlego muito emocionante pegaram tudo de bom em The Last of us e melhorou no parte 2 sem falar no design dos personagens cada detalhe é impressionante, eu realmente to sem palavras é simples um jogo sensacional.

    The game takes turns some fans will be and are upset about. I am a die hard TLoU fan and one of those turns made me extremely upset, however, the story comes together into a cohesive, engaging, and thought provoking manner. The game play builds a bit on the original. Nothing revolutionary but nice enhancements, though lacking a bit in puzzles.     I loved the game, it’s a very good game, and the final it’s almost poetic. I really can’t understand why the people hate it, maybe they don’t understand the good stories with logic. But I loved that everything that happens have a sense in the game and the story. I loved it.

    Графика и оптимизация - 10.
    Геймплей координально не поменялся по сравнению с первой частью, сама суть осталась такой же. Если рассматривать в купе с дизайном локаций, то    Окей, давайте начнем с очевидного. Самая потрясающая графика на консоли PS4, плойка просто вылетала в окно, чтобы наконец прекратить эти страдания, несмотря на то, оптимизация просто идеальная, сказать больше то нечего.
    Графика и оптимизация - 10.
    Геймплей координально не поменялся по сравнению с первой частью, сама суть осталась такой же. Если рассматривать в купе с дизайном локаций, то нужно отметить возможность ложиться, на локациях присутствует трава, можно залезать под грузовики, что заметно увеличивает возможности геймплея, добавлены маленькие ништяки с разбиванием стекол, часто можно использовать воду, как элемент укрытия, это что касается левел-дизайна. Более возможность прокачивать несколько ветвей навыков, улучшена прокачка оружия, особенно приятна визуальная часть этого момента. Нельзя не сказать, что в некоторых моментах геймплей довольно затянут, игроку часто дается возможность поизучать окружающий мир, это как и плюс, так и минус, особенно для игроков, жаждущих непрерывного экшена, который тут кстати очень круто и качественно поставлен.
    Геймплей и левл-дизайн - 8.
    Итак, переходим к самому вкусному. Сразу скажу про ЛГБТ повестку, бояться ее явно не стоит, эта тема абсолютно не давит на игрока, а "традиционный" секс тут гораздо жестче, чем безобидные поцелуйчики главной героини. Сюжет. Очень трудно говорить что-то про него объективно. Скажу сразу. Эта игра - это воплощение боли и страданий, самое жестокое и тяжелое, что я когда-либо видел в физическом и тем более моральном плане. Эта игра не создана для того, чтобы ее любили. И в этом ее суть. Из нее не получится сделать ламповое прохождение, как это можно было сделать с первой частью. И это абсолютно уникальный эмоциональный опыт, который вы не получите ни в какой другой игре, не смотря на любые нюансы, именно поэтому такая разрозненность мнения игроков. Хочу сразу сказать, что абсолютно все персонажи раскрываются в полной мере, присутствует огромное количество деталей, которые будут просто выжимать из вас эмоции (не говоря уже об основных сюжетных моментах). Здесь представлен реальный мир, мир постапокалипсиса, где все могут проявлять как доброту, так и безграничную жестокость, неотъемлемую часть этого мира.
    Моя личная субъективная оценка The Last of Us Part II - 8,5, округляю до 9.

    I just finished the game and it was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. At some points I wasn't sure, if I could keep playing.
    In the end it was one of the best games I've ever played.
    Sad to see the horrible reactions the developers have to deal with.
    I hope there will come a time where everyone can be as they want to be without having to deal with hate and aggression.

    The Ending of the game is quiet Tragedy but its still fine. if u dont mention to the story of the game, the last of us II still have an amazing gameplay, great graphic, especially is soundtrack in the game. I have searched and listened the soundtrack of the game on youtube over and over again. So I think the last of us II is still a great game to play, u should try it =)))

Claro que a aqueles que não gostem por não ser o tipo de jogo dessas pessoas,mas acredito que por mais que a história divida opiniões em nenhum momento esse jogo possa receber uma nota 0,sem levar em consideração outros detalhes. There are certain points in the game where it just hits you really hard and you see things you expected the least. I can understand why people would give the game a low rating though - when we see that Abby kills Joel we start hating her and that's all we think about (which is exactly what's supposed to happen).. But the deeper we go into the game, the more we understand Abby's side of the situation. Joel not only took the cure from the whole world, but also killed Abby's father. Still, I don't think Joel deserves to die (at least not like he did), because after all, he saved Ellie and I understand that. His daughter is dead, and Ellie reminds him of her a lot, and it's pretty obvious why he would want to save her. Both Ellie and Abby search for vengeance, and they both hurt until they get what they want. Ellie was having nightmares ever since Joel was killed and she is mad and can't let go of it until she kills Abby. She searches for her, and on the way kills basically all of her friends. For that reason, Abby also wants to kill Ellie. Understandable. So basically what I'm saying is that neither of them are right, nor they are wrong. The game isn't all black and white and you can't really choose a side. You have to see the whole picture to understand the situation. I am really sad though about the fact that Ellie just left Dina and their child, who are literally her family, and just went after her revenge again. Thus, I demand a DLC where Ellie comes to Dina and everything goes back to normal.
    The game kicks you hard, lets you relax, and then kicks you harder. It is a must play but remember to look from different perspectives or else you'll basically hate the second part of the game.    … Expand

[Eng] As a TLOU and Left Behind fan, I expected this game for more than 2 years, I love the way they improve the AI of enemies (humans and zombies) and how your character (Ellie) is way more different than Joel in the way she fights and moves.
    The world is more "open" so you can go trhough it in your own way and it has some puzzles like in the "Uncharted" series BUT they make you (force you, actually) play for more than 10 hours with a character you don't give a **** about (Abby) and bro... that's not cool at all, I mean, I could stand her backstory so I can understand why she killed Joel but her "side quests" sould've stayed like that, optionals, I did not wanted to help her new friends, not even try to kill Ellie, I mean, dude... I LOVE ELLIE.

Amé la forma en la que mejoraron la inteligencia artifical de los enemigos (humanos y zombies) y como tu personaje (ahora Ellie) es muy diferente al de Joel, se nota en la forma en cómo se mueve (más sigilo y velocidad) y en la forma que pelea (menos fuerza).
    El mundo lo hicieron un poco más "abierto", así que puedes ir por él a tu ritmo y tiene algunos acertijos estilo "Uncharted".
    Todo muy bonito hasta aquí PERO... lo que no está chido es que te hacen jugar por más de 10 hrs con un personaje que no te importa en lo absoluto (Abby), teniendo que hacer "misiones secundarias" como ayudar a sus "nuevos amigos" los cuales tampoco te importan... esas misiones deben quedar así, secundarias (opcionales) como en la gran mayoría de juegos y no forzarnos a realizarlas... en fin, puedo soportar y entender el pasado de Abby que nos hacen jugar para saber las razones por las cuales mata a Joel, pero todo lo demás simplemente innecesario.    … Expand

    The whole story seems to have revenge as the protagonist, to go deeper and deeper and making us understand how much the path to get there makes you lose everything you care about. Abby loses all her friends, even before Ellie kills all of them, because this journey of hers towards the murder of Joel will totally change her. Ellie herself, in seeking revenge for Joel changes, while the game-play makes us feel her lightness and agility, her work is very similar to that of the strongest and most ruthless Joel, who, however, does not belong to her. In fact, we see her lose everything she cares about, her partner Dina, her bond with Joel given by the guitar, her mother's knife and she’s losing herself. Several times we would like to end the adventure, go back to Jackson and see her in peace and happy but we must continue with the adventure.
    We will eventually reach the confrontation with Abby, with Ellie who can finally make her revenge, which, however, none of us craved anymore. While Ellie is slowly killing a weak Abby, but, after all this adventure, she understands that what made her feel bad wasn’t his death as such, but the fact that she never managed to forgive him after what happened at the St Mary's Hospital. It is precisely at that moment that she manages to forgive him, let him pass, and let Abby live.

    Não sei nem se posso chamar isso de jogo, é a uma pura retratação da realidade , não só pelos gráficos incríveis mas pela história crua e realista onde ninguém tem super poderes e salva o dia, todos são humanos e tem suas motivações para poder sobreviver. A trilha sonora e os movimentos de câmera só aumentam a imersão na história. Jogo maravilhoso

    only a stupid rural redneck will give this game less than 8 points and then 2 points can be removed only for inserting a lesbian relationship into the plot, and the gameplay and emotions from this game are undoubtedly 10/10.

    So many emotions in just one breath. In my perspectief this is the only and one game that gives you emotions that nether a book or a movie can offer them in the same way that these game is delivering. Technically the gameplay is awesome i can't describe it in words you should have to play it self. Just amazing master peace.

    If you played Part 1 and came to look at the same story in Part 2, you will be disappointed. But if you came to see what new ideas a studio has for you, you'll enjoy the game a lot.
    The gameplay is amazing, great balance of looting/crafting/moving/puzzles. The sound is amazing. Graphics are pushing the limits of PS4.     Gamers criticized the company for making Ellie gay back in 2014, and right now most criticism revolves around hate towards "packing the game with feminist propaganda". But honestly, after playing the game, I'm disgusted by reviews like that. It's like me and those reviewers played two different games, where I got the message of the studio, and others just tunnel-visioned on things they are opposed to. I loved the game, story, and most characters.
    In TLOU1 the idea was: the world is cruel and Joel, huge piece of **** changes through interaction with a girl that reminds him of his daughter, then at the end lies to her to keep a relationship alive.
    in TLOU2 the idea is: the world is really really cruel and . It's now shown from a different perspective.
    If the point of the game is to show how cruel people can be when defending themselves or to get revenge, then this is the best game ever to play. The story is built around that idea and supports it well.

    emotionally difficult, beautiful graphics and design, really cool worldbuilding, incredibly fluid and visceral gameplay. Personally, I really liked the story, which I thought was surprising and interesting -- I couldn't decide what I wanted the characters to do, and was burning with adrenaline to see the choices they made -- but it's definitely way *messier* and less perfectly structureemotionally difficult, beautiful graphics and design, really cool worldbuilding, incredibly fluid and visceral gameplay. Personally, I really liked the story, which I thought was surprising and interesting -- I couldn't decide what I wanted the characters to do, and was burning with adrenaline to see the choices they made -- but it's definitely way *messier* and less perfectly structure than the first game. I think it's more interesting and compelling for those complications but I can see how other people would find it at times sloppy or overlong.
    Don't listen to the review bombing -- even if you don't end up liking the story, the gameplay, worldbuilding, modelling, and general design and polish is incredible impressive.

However, the bold story direction and along with the new characters have caused the game to be very divisive.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Its truly a masterpiece and when comparing it with the first part, it is a totally different game but feels similar at the same time... Its more like 'two sides of the same coin'... Its getting a lot of hate because people can't accept a beloved character getting killed but when you see from Abby's perspective, what she did was not entirely wrong(I'm not saying its good either)... She wanted revenge because Joel denied a potential cure for the world... When we play as her you can see what kind of person she really is and I would dare as to say that she had more humanity than Ellie... Her character development was really good and it really made me feel emotional over all... What I'm trying to say is that don't trust blind reviews... Play the game and judge it yourself...

    Gameplay: 10/10(greatly improved from the first game especially stealth)

En apartado técnico es simplemente espectacular, las capturas de movimiento y faciales son abrumadoras, sonido inmersivo que con un 5.1 o audífonos es una experiencia notable, con opciones inclusivas para todo tipo de jugador, en estos apartados sin duda es lo mejor que se ha visto en una ps4. Quitando la polémica este es uno de los mejores juegos de esta generación le guste a quien le guste. NaghtyDog como siempre dejando la vara muy alta!!.

The story was made in a way that you understood the motivation Ellie went through. But also the motivation for the "villain" Abby. Because we had to play as Abby for half of the game. So that when we fought as Abby against Ellie we didnt want to kill Ellie. But at the end when we fought as Ellie against Abby i felt the same way. I didnt want to kill her. And i think that was the intention the makers wanted to achieve. Theres always a different side, with different motivations. And i applaud the fact that Naughty Dog made a sequel that was completely different, and against expectations of what people wanted. Visually this game is the best of the best throughout the whole game. Everything was perfect from the details, the lighting, the sound design, gameplay and so on. And the fact some people hate this game because of gay characters, or someone whose transitioning is something i cant wrap my head around. Its 2020 people!… Expand

I am impressed by the storytelling, gameplay mechanics, stunning environments, acting performances and character development, and all the little but meaningful details you find all around.
