    One of the most brilliant stories ever told in the entertainment community. A **** masterpiece, I don’t understand how naughty dog had such an incredible team that was able to create something so powerful and unique.

    The best game I’ve ever played, it is very decided because of how people deal with grieve, vengeance and forgiveness. Must play and take own conclusions. It’s cruel as real life, sometimes things don’t go how you intent to, and action has consequences.

    I found the story to be well written, shocking, and emotional, with an EXTREMELY satisfying and mature conclusion that provides an excellent character arc for Ellie's story.     I found the story to be well written, shocking, and emotional, with an EXTREMELY satisfying and mature conclusion that provides an excellent character arc for Ellie's story. As for the gameplay, I found it to be extremely rewarding and fun, with some of the best stealth combat I have seen for a very long time. Graphically, the game is stunning, with every single environment being gorgeous to look at, and at times, almost photo-realistic.

    My problems with the game were very few. Only experiencing one or two full on glitches throughout the game (clipping into walls), one or two seemingly broken tree textures, and a couple of wonky hit boxes on trees and fences blocking shots that should have hit. Were I to be forced to criticise the story, my only real suggestion would be to move some of the flashback sequences to the start of the game to provide some players a more streamlined bridge between the first and second games, and slightly more closure, although personally, I didn't find any fault with the ordering of the game.

    Overall, I think The Last of Us 2 is a brilliant game with an extremely satisfying story, interesting characters, fun and rewarding gameplay, and absolutely stunning graphics. I would highly recommend it to anyone.    … Expand

    I'll admit, after seeing the leaks I was not only skeptical but made the decision to not buy this game. Once I had time to cool off and reconsider I gave it a shot and I have to say it was one wild ride. Regardless of my opinions the game is not concerned with how you feel or what you want to happen. Every twist and turn brings you either angrier at certain characters or more understandingI'll admit, after seeing the leaks I was not only skeptical but made the decision to not buy this game. Although the game has already been grossly review bombed, I still felt it was necessary to share my thoughts. I give naughty dog respect for trying something big and bold. The last of us Pt.II will pull your emotions in every which way and at the very least will make you feel like you've most likely never felt before playing a video game.     No part 2 em comparação com o primeiro algumas adições ao gameplay mesmo que algumas sutis deixaram o gameplay mais dinâmico. O jogo apresenta raros bugs, e raríssimas quedas de quadros.

    Motivo da nota 10 - Pelo fato de ser uma das minhas fraquias favoritas que se manteve no mesmo nível que o seu antecessor, e também games com aspectos técnicos tão gloriosos como esse serem raros... então é algo a se valorizar e cobrar da indústria dos games!    … Expand

It makes the player face their own personal biases with a strong narrative with reoccurring themes and motifs. The game looks amazing, and the combat is satisfying. It's certainly not perfect and I found myself getting frustrated at parts. But overall this is a stellar game,Absolutely brilliant game. Very bold story line, which takes som getting adapted to, because you are so focused on the dynamic of Joel and Ellie. And it is at punch in the face when you see joel getting killed of so early, but all the feelings tou get from it, is intentional, and it surdenly divided a lot of People. but all in all i think That it is a very good game and a very bold story, and I see what they are trying to do and I understand why it is not for everyone.… Expand

    I am so proud of what video games have become. And I am thankful that AAA games exist that dare to be different and to push gaming to a new level, not only technically, but much more important, emotionally. I love Naughty Dog for their risk taking and that they are not satisfied with a cheap and easy second story that suits everyone, but try to push the limits of    Game of the generation.

I understand the jarring effect of switching characters at what seems like the crescendo of an agonizing tale of revenge turned to sorrow and suddenly we change gears... I get it. That being said, no game has touched my soul like this one. Once the hard pill of sorts is swollowed, the insane gut wrenching beauty of this game really begins to unfold. I laughed, I cried, I’ve been challenged and I’m going back for more. I will never forget this game. The many intricacies have been playing through my mind over and over ever since I beat it a week ago and I’m still mulling it all over. I recommend this work of art so highly and I think the perspectives it brings are imperativly relevant for society today. The sounds, graphics, combat and many mechanics can’t be praised enough.     1. Гомофобы, для которых волосатые подмышки у девушки в кадре вызывают нервный припадок
    2. Те, кто не могут принять происходящие события с ключевыми персонажами игры

    It's a masterpiece. Just finished playing it, my gameplay lasted 39 hours. Never felt like this after any game, movie or book. I cried many hours and was in shock when the credits rolled. I understand why many people hate it, but like all good art people simply don't like everything. And this one is definetly not for kids. It's a game for adults.

This is very dark and serious story, much less happier than Part 1. All negative reviews are based on a Joel's death and SJW-theme. Just ignore the sjw theme, relax and enjoy! I am little bit homophobic rasist myself, but I had a lot of deep and happy emotions playing this game because there is a lot of fantastic things that constantly surprise you. And of course TLOU2 is the best looking game in part of graphics and visual art.
    Give this game a chance. Because this game was made with pure deep love, you will feel it, I promise.    … Expand

    Frankly speaking, I like this game. It's not the game most of us waited for, but it had to be done. Gameplay: i found it amusing and beautiful. It's more exciting than in the first part 9/10

    Story: i didn't like abby. That's why 8/10 but overall it's ok

    Graphics: love it or hate it, but the game is **** beautiful and the sceneries are gorgeus.

    There are many games that tell decent narratives. There are very few that tell narratives on par with series and films. The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 are the only games that reach this level in my own opinion. Part 2 is controversial within the fan base and I can understand a few of the criticisms, but giving it a score of 0/10 is outrageous. Even if you don't like the direction the storyThere are many games that tell decent narratives. There are very few that tell narratives on par with series and films. The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 are the only games that reach this level in my own opinion. Even if you don't like the direction the story went, the gameplay and graphics are incredible. I didn't see any bugs, the fighting mechanics were top notch, and the gunplay was unforgiving in the best way possible.

    I think there is a number of people who wanted to make decisions in the story themselves, and when our protagonists had the final say, the player found them to be poor choices. You may have loved these characters a lot and found yourself heartbroken over their decision making, but I think that means you never understood who they really were, who they have become, or their internal struggles in the first place.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. On the edge of my seat when Abby and Ellie fight the first time, did not want to kill Ellie. Then the final fight with them, I was again on the edge of my seat hoping Ellie wouldn’t kill her.

    I so hope there is a part III and a possibly cure coming!

    Great game. Pushing the boundaries of storytelling in games and making it accessible to

    And like any form of art that pushes boundaries, it will be met with hate and discomfort by it's consumers.     To me, though the game wasn't pure overall perfection. But even in its flaws I could sense the immense passion of the creators and what they were trying to do. I therefore had a great experience playing the game.

    For the critics out there, this motto might help: "Approve or Improve".

    Don't listed to bad reviews written the same day of its launch (although the game is 25 hours long, so something don't fit). It is a really good game, the story maybe is a bit worse than the first game, but first game is a masterpiece and difficult to equal. I though of reviewing with a 8 or 9, but since this game neither deserves a 0, i will put a 10.

Only warning I have is that this games storyline is dark, which isn’t a bad thing, but I had to go watch lighthearted stuff after to feel better.     This game is a masterpiece that does not hold back, nor does it care about your feelings or your thoughts of it but it does give you both feelings and thoughts. The last of us 2 takes you on the journey it wants to tell you and it doesn't take you any other way. If I could I would give this game an 11/10 but unfortunately I can't.

    ---- Story:
    The game's story is good, not worse than the first part. I liked it, I liked the end very much, it was not usual. I had no problem with the slow pace, but I have a problem with the order of the chapters, for me this game would have been great if it had a different order for the chapters, it would have given me more feelings if the order was different. I mean; instead of playing with Ellie then playing with Abby it would have been better to play a chapter by Ellie then a chapter by Abby, it would have a bigger impact on the player. The other thing that I have a problem with is that there were too many flashbacks in the game. I don't say we remove them, some of them were good and important, but I think it would have been better to give them to the player at the start of the game, especially "The Park" chapter would have been great at the beginning of the game. So the story is good except for two things, 1. The Chapter Order. 2. Too Many Flashbacks.
    ---- Game-play:
    The game-play was the main reason that I had no problem with the slow pace. The game-play is so enjoyable, with the accessibility options, guns, and animations. New things like: going prone, the dogs as enemies, the difference between the human enemies, and the boss fight. The game-play is excellent.
    ---- Game Direction & Art Direction:
    The game direction in the cut-scenes was very good, I liked it. The Art Direction was also very good, the designs of everything were excellent.
    ---- Graphics & Sound:
    The graphics and graphical details in the game were great, this is one of the Generation's best games in terms of graphics with God of War and Red Dead Redemption II. And this is the best one in terms of graphical details. In terms of sound, the sound design was also great, the whistles and everything, and of course the soundtrack is great, I am still listening to it after finishing the game.

Even though the game has some narrative problems, I don’t think it’s enough to detonate. Remembering I’m not a fanboy, but I have to recognize that the game is wonderful. There is no point in watching videos or lives, as you will not be as immersed as you are playing, because your attention and emotion is a thousand times better. I have a friend who is an xbox fanboy, and he detonated the game, saying it was this and that. But if he had played the story it would be different. For in other respects, other than the somewhat problematic story that in the end is good, even controlling the villain who killed an important character, the game is impeccable and deserves your attention and a chance!… Expand

    This game was an absolute 10/10. A masterpiece. Of course it is relevant only with the first game. The characters, the old ones and the new ones, are beautifully well written. It is a sad and tragic story for sure, with some heartwarming and touching moments. Yes, I get it, this is not how most of the players imagined a sequel, but we all have to agree on this and admit it: this is 'The Last of Us' way, you can't get a truly happy ending, this world is not about that. Also this is not about fan service. Yes it is an emotional rollercoaster, I am amazed how I hated someone at the beginning and how I loved the same character at the end, how my opinion changed time to time in a lot of ways. I love it. The storyline is gripping and powerful as you go through the walks of life of both Ellie and Abby. You get a sense of great story telling here, understanding the story from different point of views. I got very invested into the story to say the least. Character development are very well done here leaving no ambiguity or questions unanswered. It is an experience not to be missed if you've played the first game! There's a lot of unnecessary comments where a load of people are just jumping on the band wagon for the sake of it.

    Yes Joel dies but this is fine as Ellie carries the torch now and it's a really good shock factor too! Yes the ending has divided fans too but Ellie reflects on her decision at the end which gives her some humanity back from the teachings of Joel.

    The only not so good thing on this game was it can feel repetitive sometimes sneaking around, killing infected, running into human survivors and more sneaking around.    … Expand

The visuals are breathtaking, the gameplay, If still familiar, is fresh, updated, and above all, super fun. Everything leads up to one staggering conclusion that challenged me me as a gamer and as a human. I’ve never had to question my actions in a video game before until I’ve played this game, and that on its own, is a remarkable accomplishment. Like Troy Baker said: “fans need to come into this game with an open mind.” He was right because this game will not sit right with some fans because of some narrative choices, but just because you don’t like where the story goes, it doesn’t mean that the story doesn’t work.     Technical:
    This game is beautiful in every sense. The models, textures, sound and animations are all masterfully done. The character animation in particular, how you character interacts with the world and the fluid blending of animations together the art team here deserves so much praise. It is the little things when it comes to this all of the attention to detail in the small secondary animations, Ellie's bag gently swaying as she runs along, putting her hand on a wall when she is next to it, using her left hand to loot when the right is busy interacting with something else. It's these small touches that just ground the character in the environment and just make things look so much more natural. The top notch character modeling, texturing and primary animation definitely helps too. The mo-capped cutscenes are out of this world as well so natural and life like especially the facial animation which is so easy to get wrong, I think I'd need far more than 5000 characters to truly convey how amazingly this game is textured, modeled and animated.

    Now lets just talk about enemies for a bit. Your enemies aren't just enemies they have some humanity about them which is done through masterful use of sound and animation. From them calling out their friends name in horror after you've shot them, to your enemy begging you not to kill them when you grab them from behind to the struggling and as the hope and life fades from their beautifully animated faces. I played this game killing as few humans as possible because I just felt awful every time I had to do it and no other game has ever made me feel like that about rank and file enemies.

    This game feels visceral, gritty and uncomfortable to play (in the best way possible) and everything feeds into that from the sound design, the animations and the gameplay.

    There were some definite sections that felt a little drawn out and there were some points I wanted another way to deal with problems other than violence. One section jumps to mind where I encountered some WLF deserters in a hotel and one of them tried to attack me thinking I was sent to kill them so I took one of them hostage and stood there almost waiting for Ellie to say something but after a while just realized that there was no way to end this encounter without just murdering them all. Which I get it, it's not that kind of game but still it just kind of felt like the game was limiting me in the way I wanted to solve the situation. But for the most part your actions in game make sense with the way the narrative is being told.

    No game is perfect (hence the 9) and there are going to be poor moments and better ones but I assure you that the good moments and the moments where everything just makes sense far outweigh the bad ones.

    Story:
    There are a lot of complaints here about story and I just have to say I don't get them. At the start you're presented with a villain and a classic revenge story. As the story goes on you see the lengths that Ellie goes through in a series of sequences that left me feeling genuinely uncomfortable at some points. Then it all gets flipped on it's head and as you play as Abby you grow attached to the characters you just spent the first 10+ hours doing anything in your power to kill. You see the WLF as a community trying to survive rather than the brutal revolutionary group that you were facing as Ellie. Then when you see the two of them facing off I actually didn't want to see harm come to either of them.

    The game almost tells two stories back to back, the revenge story in the present day and Ellie and Joels relationship as Ellie grows up after the last game through flashbacks. These two stories seem to mimic each other as the game goes on with the confrontation about the events of the first game coming at the height of the revenge story, both stories are at the point of "There can be no forgiveness" both for Abby and for Joel. We see the toll that revenge takes on Ellie as the game goes on, both physically and mentally, she is beaten, cut, bruised and bitten but keeps going, she loses people dear to her and keeps going and when she finally gets out and gets the farm life that her and Dina dreamed of she is still consumed with the need for revenge and just goes back. Then in the final scenes we see her save Abby from the Rattlers and then try one more time to get her revenge but gets a flashback to the night where she told Joel she will try to forgive him and similarly she lets Abby go and seems to try and forgive her too.

    This is a story about revenge the lengths someone will go to for it, the damage it will do and how revenge begets more revenge begets more revenge. But most importantly it's a story about forgiveness and how it can be the hardest thing of all to do. Everyone has their own side of the story there is no good here, no evil, just different perspectives    … Expand

It asks us to drop our typical and satisfying “f*ck up the bad guys” mentality and instead think about the effect those actions would have on an actual human being. I like this realisric change in pace, however I understand it’s not for everyone. Some people want to just enjoy a brainless game. I enjoyed this game for being deeper than that. The writers of this game didn’t treat our characters like simple murder machines, but people who have consequences for their actions physically, mentally, and socially.

    Go in with an open mind and give this game a shot. It is definitely worth a buy and definitely worth your time. Even if its to be apart of this wild conversation amongst gamers.    … Expand

Though the game was set on revenge...it really wasn't at all about revenge, but the suffering that both Ellie and Abby have gone through, and forgiveness. The ending shows that forgiveness is the only thing that really makes you human if you understand that it isn't just ellie who suffers from the death of Joel. Abby lost her father too, and yes killing Joel is horrible and the only thing Abby was set out to do is avenge her father, but Ellie did the same thing right after Abby killed her own father figure.Throughout the game you see their pasts and understand that survival is hard but forgiveness is even harder.… Expand

La historia me parece no de lo mejor, pero tampoco para que critiquen a un nivel que le pongan una calificación tan baja. Me sorprende como hay gente que se queja de la historia y solo a VISTO, ni siquiera jugado las primeras 4 horas del juego y viene para poner 1/10 al juego, es cierto que tiene algunos detalles que mejorar, pero la ignorancia y odio de la gente es impresionante… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
