    The world is one of the most beautiful that I have ever seen in a videogame, every location just awe inspiring, and everything about this game just works so well.

    The guns feel truly amazing to wield, and it’s nice to receive different variations throughout the story.

    I cannot stress enough, don’t read a review and have that dictate how good the game is, you have to try it for yourself. It’s such a good game, and I’d definitely recommend it :)

To me, this game isn't for "SJW LGBT people", it's just for people, fans of the first, people who felt like they knew Ellie and Joel in the first game. This game is a demonstration of how far you could go to gain closure for losing a loved one, and with this it shows how Ellie mourns throughout with use of the guitar and her dreams/flashbacks, she really misses Joel and you can feel that, I wouldn't say it is perfect, but the ending is so poignant because she lost her one connection to Joel, her music. I feel like even with Dina, this game is still about Joel and Ellie, and how important he was to her. Abby was a good addition because we get to see her character fill Joels role for a young Lev, which isn't done too obviously. In the end Ellie breaks the cycle and chooses not to kill Abby meaning she isn't like Abby was, or Joel, she's stronger. To me this game really makes you think and I know that for me, it's console defining Expand

These out of context scenes have spread false rumours about the characters and cast, and led to toxicity amongst the fan base. Joel’s fate in this game should not have surprised many fans of the game. The amount of obvious red herrings within the marketing and Ellie’s quest for vengeance revealed this. The story is nuanced and ultimately about moving on from trauma and accepting the path of forgiveness. It’s a beautiful story, and fleshes out the world. I’m rating it a 10 in order to help counter the ridiculous review bombing. This game is not a 0/10. If you thought Joel was the protagonist of Part 2, you clearly weren’t paying attention. Not only that but the final scene is one of the most heartwarming resolutions, and confidently wraps up the story of these two characters whilst hinting at something new. Expand

    A game that is unfortunately being treated very harshly and unfairly. Just because your favourite character died doesn't make it a bad game. This is the most emotionally involved I have ever been in a story game and I spent most of it crying. I do however find the Abbey game play to be tedious at times apart from the Warzone and ground zero at the hospital. For those claiming it's SJW you've already lost the argument. Fantastic story with depth, emotion, pain and anger and an amazing capture of the human condition. Explores the inability to let go in great detail. Love it. It has its flaws but so does part one.

    The story takes a whole different vibe, the first one is all about a father/daughter relationship , and how it evolves during the journey ; TLOU 2 is completely different, it's about revenge, it's about a character that's no longer our cute & helpless teenager... She grew up, and she changed; as everyone does.

    Yes, the main plot which leads to Ellie's revenge kinda sucks (not what happens, but how it happens), but honestly isn't such a big deal imo to give a score lower than 7 to this game.

    The rest is absolutely 10/10... Gameplay, graphics, environment, enemies AI, Level Design, soundtrack and etc..

    Veredict: The Last of US part 2 get's such criticism from the gamer community because it's a time clock bomb that came in a bad time; we know how things work these days, we know how guys react when there's something different from what is called normal in terms of sexual education, we know that any kind of entertainment that have some source of religion approach get's hated & etc..
    And to finish, i doubt that if this game wasn't a sequel, think as a new IP, ppl would LOVE IT.

    This game isn't what we saw in the first game, it hits differently, but still get you to the edge of your seats in many moments, buy the game, enjoy every second of it; and THEN you have the right to write a review :)

One thing for certain though, Last Of Us 2 is one of the most decisive and controversial games in recent memory. At the time of this the user reviews are less than favorable with many giving scores based on emotion and not objectivity. Most of the anger is directed at a certain event that takes place fairly early in the game, saying it would be ok if only done better. However that would miss the whole point. Its brutal, its violent, its gut wrenching, its final. Its in everyway The Last of Us. Gameplay is fun, puzzles, exploration, and stealth/action mechanics that are an improvement over the first. Story is going to be the make or break for people. A open mind is needed, you may not like all the characters in this game but you will know why they do what they do. There are no heroes or villians in TLOU, the view is relative to where your standing. The game does not play nice and neither can you, you need to get you're hands dirty, make that bloody. The game wants you to hate Abby to the bone for first 10 - 14 hours and then make you understand her action base on her perspective. What happen is most people are too blinded by to much hate already when it reaches that point. So they just close their eyes and refuse to see her side. Naughty Dog created the game to tell a story. They make it clear that they wanted to tell a story. But gamers wanted to go John Wick as Ellie and Kill everybody on sight with matching "hell YeaH!" and "Die **** I think Abby's story line save the story from being predictable that we always see a thousand times in every video game when we always get to kill in video games without thinking if the hero is really right. I think most gamers are not yet ready for that. They are afraid to see both side, They only wanted to see the side the hero that they love. Expand

Not to think of every game need to end with an happy ending is a brave step. In this dystopian world where the humankind story is not going in the direction of happiness and world peace, there needs to be a place for story’s like The Last of Us.

    - All these reviews saying this game is not worth it because they don't like the plot is pathetic. Writers can write whatever they want and this is nowhere near next to GoT S8. I didn't come in with any spoilers, so I wasn't sure why she was seeking vengeance at all. I was worried the whole town was going to be overrun like too many times in The Walking Dead. People are saying Joel would never have walked into an ambush, but it wasn't planned besides by Abby on the fly, so the group wasn't being suspicious besides her psychotic self. It was legit just one woman on her own running from zombies- yeah she is crazy buff, but that was a huge horde- much bigger than we ever had in the first game. It made sense to seek shelter. Now Tommy's invite was dragging it...

    While I still wanted Abby to die in the end, that doesn't make the game not enthralling and overall incredible experience. I was seeing red as much as Ellie and 100% was with her on her murder spree. If you can't see where her character is coming from then, you need to think more about what Joel meant to her and what he did for her. Also, they are in a post-apocalyptic, ultra-violent world- after seeing her father figure die while those people held her down and spit on him- who cares if they let her live(I appreciate it though) they are all going down. I loved all of their flashback scenes and definitely noted how they never said I love you. They expressed it differently. Imagine how terrifying it is that the people you love the most can be killed at any moment and humanity is barely surviving. We are honestly too privileged even as people with enough physical and financial stability to have gaming consoles (think Yemen rn) to fathom those psychological effects.

    I hated playing as Abby hunting Ellie, but I think that's what they were going for. It would've killed me if they made you play the killer of Joel while she killed Ellie- that's too much. I think perhaps the plot would've made more sense to everyone if Joel was kidnapped and Ellie had to save him. That's not perfect, but some of the major gripes could be ameliorated. Killing anyone necessary to get to Joel vs killing anyone necessary to get to his killer and then not kill her? If Joel died around the time when they switched to Abby, then we could've fit in that vengeance thread much better. We didn't need Abby's perspective to make this work, we needed to really expand on Ellie. Showing the WLF and Seraphite camps were appreciated, but Ellie could've been the one on the Island and the WLF part could've been much shorter.

    So I missed Ellie for hours and hours, but that doesn't mean the gameplay wasn't topnotch throughout. Anyone complaining about it needs to seriously think if they are comparing this game to imaginary ones in their heads. I don't know of a game that made me feel more in it. It's weighted, emotional and tense. There are various ways to engage with the different enemies and if you don't want to deal with them then you can see if you can just sprint out of there. I did that a few times with the stalkers for sure... I would also want more objects to be able to fall over or moved so the npcs can be lured or find you easier.

    While I don't love the story of this game, it is still 100% worth playing and I'll definitely play it again. While I am excited to play again, it is so dark and energetically draining(in a good way), I'm going to need a few weeks break. I'm rating it 10 to counteract the hate, but I would say the story brings it down to a 8/10 because I really just wanted more Ellie. Abby's only saving grace was because Lev stopped her, she hadn't learned anything since she killed Joel. Her saving what she called "Scars" was her redeeming herself for killing the Seraphites for years, it had nothing to do with Joel. She never felt what she did was wrong, she was only told it was. I wanted Dina to live, but if Abby killed her (wow that would've been so sad for Ellie) her Santa Barbara journey would've worked more. As much as I liked Lev, he's the reason his sister lost her arm then her life (two separate choices), so if I had a choice as Ellie, I would've killed Abby and then that kid to end the cycle right there... y'all both free from this zombie hell now, you welcome. Vengeance sought.

Its not supposed to be it. Whether you enjoyed the game or strongly disliked it, it manages to do what any truly brilliant game should and that is to leave u thinking and questioning what has happened and the emotions that you have experienced. If you finish the game and you do not feel like your emotions have been put on a rollercoaster, then unfortunately you've probably missed the point or cannot confront the feelings you have experienced. However the choice is never up to you and what happens is the story that naughty dog wanted to tell, and I personally that it was brilliant it has left me thinking about it 24/7. Do not let negative or hateful reviews of the game spoil your experience go into it with a open mind and really just play and experience what is occurring and challenge yourself to understand what is being portrayed. After all we all play games for the experience and especially these story driven games to come out at the end with a new feeling and perspective.

Primarily the humanization of the enemy which is non-existent in many games. It showed how similar Ellie and Abby were to each other with both having their dads killed, both having friends killed, both seeking revenge, etc. At first we saw Abby as evil but we got to see her story and how she wasn't the monster we all thought she was. Lastly the choice of life or death was throughout this for example when Ellie decided to leave to kill Abby she chose death and was rewarded with the destruction of her family and life when she could've chosen to take care of her family and live a beautiful life. The storytelling should've been better but the messages behind it was what made this game worth something. Expand

    A true masterpiece! All low grades represent shallow players, who did not have the sensitivity to simply play the game and understand their proposal. They think characters are their property.
    This is a multi-layer game, where all of these layers have purposes and talk to each other.

    the game isn't as good as the first one but is not a bad game
    Some people say Joel death isn't make senses he is out of character,like what do you expect on that situation when infecteds chasing them in the storm Joel says ok you are safe and we are going back in a Storm and die, he didn't have a choice
    Some other people say the game force you to like abby, no the game dont Force you to like her,the hole point to play with her is that you understand the cycle and redemption
    Abby lost all of her friends because of revenge (cycle)
    Abby saves Lev and yara because she Regret for what she did(redemption)
    Ellie killed all of abby friends and in the process she lost her self her friends and family and memorys of joel and in the last moment of killing abby she understands that killing abby wont make her pain go a way its only makes it worst so she break the cycle of revenge and then you get a idea of Ellie redemption from abby redemption arc

We all get expectations with everything that gets a big name on the gaming industry or even in series but this story just reminded me how I got a lot of theories before the game of Thrones red wedding episode and it all fall apart when I watched it, it's just sadness everytime the game reminded me of Joel after he died and I really hopped that even if his death was inevitable it would have been better if they developed the connection between Joel and Ellie, if that was the case, this game was a 10/10. As someone who played the first game three times I think I have a right to give my opinion on this and I must say I found it incredible. I think people are just salty about Joel's death so they decided to megabomb cancel the game. There's aren't any plotholes there are just butthurt fanboys who are pissed that their favourite character died. I think his death was something which was necesary to get the story moving and for every seen we see Joel in (however few there may be) they are emotionally moving and help further drive the plot. This game is incredible hands downs and deserves none of the hate it is currently getting. Expand

    It’s not a masterpiece like the first game, but it’s not trash. People focus all the hate on “forced inclusion” and ignore the rest of aspects that make a game. If you want to know if it’s a good or bad game, play it, don’t base your opinion on someone else’s comment.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played this game with an open mind. I didn’t go in thinking there was “An AgEnDa” being forced down my throat. I gave Abby a Chance and when I finished the game, I was 100% okay, even satisfied. People honestly giving this game a 0 are just way too hurt and upset that Joel died early, how he died, and you play as his killer (I’ll get to that). It makes sense he died (maybe not early, but honestly the players would be enraged like to hunt Joel’s killer if it were any other character, so I understand why they did it). They are rioting “it’s horrible writing! It goes against his character.”.... the story takes place 4 years after the first event. In those 4 years, Joel’s lived in a protected, gated community were he doesn’t have to worry about trust and survival because he’s always surrounded by people who care about him. For 4 years, he didn’t have to struggle. So “He WoUlDnT jUsT tRuSt StRaNgErs” isn’t forgetting he’s been meeting and trusting people within the community for years. So it’s not so much a slap in the face to Joel’s development, but a lack of judgement as human because he forgot what it’s like to be in the world and not sheltered. The first game establishes this is a horrible, dangerous world, and you probably won’t survive long. Unfortunately, that went for Joel. Yes. I love him, and I was devastated, but people for get one glaring fact.

    Joel doomed humanity. Joel killed all the Fireflies to save Ellie. Joel killed Abby’s father (don’t pretend like if someone murdered your father, you wouldn’t want revenge). You see, Joel is the hero to us, in his story and our story. But he is the villain in Abby’s. We’re just so attached to Joel, we don’t realize that. I know, it took me some time to see it that way. But when you play as Abby, if at least try to remove all hatred, the scene that won be over was when Abby was on her knees crying over her dads body. Me personally, I didn’t hate her after that. I understood why. Now, I still wanted her to die because Joel’s my boy, but after that I was able to really appreciate the flashbacks and character building/establishment. Which made me very conflicted because I’m supposed to hate her, but Abby’s not a bad person, she’s just good person who did something horrible, much like Joel, and much like Ellie when she killed Mel. As I’m playing Abby, moments like when I realized I killed the dog as Ellie, or when Manny dies, or Yara, or when you walk in to see your friends dead. It was deep, and conflicting because I allowed myself to give these characters a chance, and I so doing so got somewhat attached knowing full well what was going to happen. That when I returned to the climax... I felt uneasy because both characters are completely justified in why they doing it. The games true entire faults aren’t with the story or the characters Instead, it’s the repetitive gameplay. you’re doing the same, stealth killing, tiptoeing for 25 hours. It’s the 25 hour, single player LINEAR story. It’s not open world where you can spend time exploring, doing side quest and discovering new locations. The fact that you’re repeating the same gameplay for that long makes it very glaring The Last of Us was long too, but it knew where to end. The last one is the game makes you do all that hunting and build up, killing and searching for Abby that as soon as you confront her, it cuts off and you pretty much restart the game as Abby. It’s two last of us style games in one. Two separate narratives. You get to the climax, and then it starts you from the beginning. There were times I was rushing Abby’s story just to get back to see what happens because I wanted to see Ellie’s story finish. Last of Us 2 is Ellie AND Abby’s story, when it should have just been Ellie’s. Abby is a good character that has a story worth telling, but it shouldn’t have been in this game. They should have made a prequel to the Last of Us 2 - let’s call it The Last of Us: The Hunt, where they establish Abby as a character, her back story and motives to kill Joel and the story revolves around making to Jackson, so when we get to the sequel we’ve had time with her as a character to understand why she does what she does. And her story in this game - keep it the same, just DLC or something. Don’t clog up Ellie’s story

    Great enemy AI, great difficulty setting, great environment design, the story is actually ok. There are a lot of details in the game that makes the whole story logical.
    However, I believe the order of the whole story, the arrangement is really bad. They should put all Abby story in front of Ellie's in stead of after that, to help player resonating with this character at first, so that players won't be left with pure wrath since the beginning and can't really put themselves in the 10 hour Abby gameplay.
    Besides, the first Ellie part is pretty dull and boring when talking about the story. Dina and Ellie don't talk a lot and their conversation is so dumb, while their love relationship is superficial. And pregnancy -- we should admit it, it sucks. I really understand that they want to use this part to show the weight of lives but they do it too sedulously. DIna has way too much settings that are unnecessary for the theme of this game or for caracter development.
    THe interesting part is, I think they did Abby episode pretty well--it reminds me of part1 and I think they do it intentionally. "The girl who killed Joel becomes another Joel at last", they just failed to convey their message correctly to the player but the arrangement of this game leaves players with wrath, nihility and suffering in the most part. They tried too hard to make the game an art this time,

Every aspect of the game was beautiful, the fact that the person that you made hero from became someone else villain, and that actions have consequences. Moreover, through the game the tension and hate was all over the story and it was way outside of people's comfort zone by making you play against the character that you loved in first episode and make you to break that view and understand how they actually damage other people.
    This game is brutal with some beautiful moments. At the end also by giving the power of killing and revenge to Ellie and Abby(in cinema) and how they forgive the other person they tried to give good feeling about each character to the audience in the darkest way possible, which shows they can be monster and kill but they choose not to.
    Amazing job from Naughty dog for not following any cliche and focused on developing great story. PLAY THIS GAME WITH OPEN MIND IT GONNA TAKE YOU WAY OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE.

I think it started off really well even with the one story bit everyone's going crazy about and I wouldn't blame them in a lot of ways but its so sad that everyone's giving this game terrible scores because it really doesn't deserve them and if you're considering buying this game but are unsure because of all the bad press then just buy it cause its still a top notch game.
    All gameplay has been improved and there are (in my opinion) better puzzles and much less of them, there is more focus put on exploration this time around, a change I am really happy with. The game constantly makes you feel lost when your actually always going the right way in some sense. If you loved the gameplay from the last of us then you will love the game play in part 2.
    I won't mention the story as very much to stay away from spoilers but I was slightly disappointed because I expected more, but that does not mean by any stretch of the imagination that this game has a bad story. I still found myself very immersed and liking a lot of the new characters (not as much as the old ones but good characters none the less). There are some cringe moments I can't help but mention but the are few and far between.
    Overall I really love this game and think everyone should play it, ignore all the bs reviews from all the sad c**ts that think this is a bad game because it didn't go the way that they wanted, 90% of them probably didn't even finish it so they have no right to put reviews up.

    As a person who does not like political agendas being pushed into videogames (who almost canceled his pre-order because of the 'rumors'), I can say that this game is not 'the ultimate SJW game' or a 'golfing simulator'. The so-called agenda is only communicated through subtle ways (like notes that can be discovered in optional areas). References to 'social justice' are only made when they contribute to the story, and I did not notice anything odd about them.

    I will not spoil the story but I think it gets better as you progress further. The locations you visit throughout your journey are all expertly designed, and environmental storytelling plays a significant role in supporting the main themes. Just when you are sure you've beaten the game, the epilogue begins (with a play-time of about one and a half hours). The epilogue is also fantastic and it reminds me of Max Payne 3, which is another great game. I personally thought the ending was well-executed and would be upset if it was crafted in any other way.

    In short, you should not miss out on this experience. Even if you decide you don't like the story after finishing the game, the lowest realistic score you could give to this game is 7,5/10. The game does not deserve the 3.9 User Score it has now.

    It is something we've only seen in Red Dead Redemption 2. In most places even more beautiful. The woods, the snow, the lighting, the water, the high resolution textures and detailed models are a state of the art on this generation of console games. 10/10

    * Animations and Special Effects*
    Same as with graphics amazingly detailed body and facial animations. The take downs are very brutal thanks to the detailed skin and muscle rendering. Blood almost looks like the one you see in real life. The monsters have one of the most detailed animation that I've seen in games. They are just so well made. 10/10

    * Game Play *
    I played on the Hard difficulty and added maximum enemy difficulty to carefully fine tune my experience. I my self love stealth action and horror games. So this game is just um my alley. Most of the time in this game you find your self scavenging, looking for clues to open safes, crafting upgrades and modding weapons, reading letters, trying to get past or dispatch enemies in pretty brutal ways. My only problem with the game play was the lack of indication when I'm about to progress from one room into the other. This has cost me a couple of unopened safes in my play through. I hope these can be ironed out in future games. I liked that in some areas you needed to hold triangle to enter an area but you could also cancel it using the circle button, but this was unfortunately not an option in some of the earlier levels. 9/10

    * Controls *
    A little bit harder to aim in this game, compared to the first game. Here you need to watch how your character breaths or unlock a skill to learn to control it, in order to make deadly head shots. The PS4 controller is very nicely utilized in this game. The rumbling is just perfect and goes along with the audio. In return your characters are more agile, they can dodge attacks and do counter attacks. You can now jump up on many platforms and squeeze through narrow holes, which makes the game play even more intense in some situations, where the enemy is chasing the main protagonist. 10/10

    * Audio *
    While I'm not sure if the game supports 5.1 Surround Sound, because in the options I could only see home theater, TV and stereo headphones, the sounds were really well made. The gunshots and monster roars are terrifying. When you take down enemies you can hear them gurgle when they take their last breath. 10/10

    * AI *
    The AI seems a lot smarter than the old game, especially the human groups. They seem to know how to flush you out and their combat skills can really wear you down if not straight up beat you on the spot if you are not paying attention. I like how coordinated they are, how they try to circle in on the player and corner them. They utilize grenades, sniper rifles, melee weapons and sometimes even bring dog companions to sniff you out. 10/10

    * Story *
    Alright, I'm not going to lie, it's a mixed bag to say the least. Some decisions made by the characters from the previous game doesn't make much sense in the first couple of hours. It needs some explanations, that you only get later in the game and you have to have a very good memory to remember these in detail to put everything together. The one time when Joel and Tommy follow Abby into a hide out without questioning the trustworthiness of the lady who they just met. As far as I remember Joel wasn't trusting outsiders in the first game. The story presents the same story, but shows the action and its effects on both sides. Characters that we kill as Ellie, will show up in Abby's story as close friends. The game shows the similarity of both Ellie and Abby and the environment where they lived. It made you question all the time, why these two are trying to kill each other? The ending was kind of satisfying to me, because it showed that the game is not just all about a revenge plot. There's forgiveness. Ellie forgives Joel for lying to her and she does the same to save her self from killing Abby (who in the end also found someone to care for). In the final scene Ellie realizes what it cost for her to satisfy her craving for revenge when she basically looses everything (her family, close friends and the ability to play songs). It's a bitter sweet ending, but a fair one. 7/10

    All in all the game would be a 9.2 if MetaCritic would allow it. I can definitely suggest anyone who likes survivor horror game with mature stories to pick it up. You just can't go wrong with the Last of Us Part II.

    Naughty Dog added just enough adjustments to gameplay to improve it without overhauling it. Their ability to seamlessly transition from narrative to action is deeply immersive. Good work! Loving the game.

    This game really is a masterpiece and in so many ways the defining game of this generation. Most of the criticism appears to be centered around the choices ND made on the story. Whether you personally wanted to the story to head in certain directions is very much up to personal preference, but you can't argue it's expertly done. I don't agree with every creative decision but the execution is second to none and a hell of ride for the 25 hours it takes to complete. To me this is the pinnacle of what video games can achieve as an art form compared with cinema, television and books. The best entertainment challenges the consumer, and that's exactly what ND have achieved with this game.

    Fitting that ND have now capped two console generations with a masterpiece. Bring on TLOU3 in 7 years?

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The only reason i'm putting a nine, is because of the way the game left off, and how you're dropped into Abby's story. Besides that the story was amazing. I honestly think that people aren't taking the story for what it is, and they're just getting worked up over a character's death. Yes, it sucks. But that's what makes a good story. Plus it seems they're judging Abby's character before they even get to her story. Yes, you heard that right, she DOES get backstory, you DO get to understand why she killed someone. Yes some characters aren't fleshed out too much, but you won't get to know them for too long anyway. The characters that stick around, and that matter? Grow in so many different and subtle ways that you truly have to think while you play to understand what's going on. ND I applaud your story writing skills. I applaud your bravery in making something genuinely amazing and daring. I'd love to play another LOU. Expand

    This game is amazing, it does not have any forced script, I do not see the bad thing about killing a loved character, it has a great gameplay, in my opinion it deserves that the people who play it finish it and understand the story, all the people who say That this game is bad for being inclusive is simply stupid and ignorant, in video games you hardly see homosexual protagonists, inThis game is amazing, it does not have any forced script, I do not see the bad thing about killing a loved character, it has a great gameplay, in my opinion it deserves that the people who play it finish it and understand the story, all the people who say That this game is bad for being inclusive is simply stupid and ignorant, in video games you hardly see homosexual protagonists, in conclusion, if you give a bad rating to the game it is because you are ignorant, stupid and you only wanted to get on the train of hate Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I did not play the Game, i watched the Playthrough.
    I really enjoyed the first one.
    I enjoyed this one.

    The "open world" is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed the graphics, the cutscenes. That ellie plays guitar so well, seing her in a happy relationship with dina, and the story itself without chekcing on the pacing or the telling, just the story if it was just a novel was really good.

    I can understand the people, who are angry, but not to that extend:

    Every person is well build, the motives are clear and you understand why they're doing it. I could not care less what sex they prefer to be called at or what partner they like, every person has an absolute right to be there.

    To kill Joel was a good decision. Maybe not in the first hour, but he had to die for the stuff he did, as is explained multiple times in the game. it just makes the game more sad and realistic that he was just coming to good terms with ellie the day before he died.

    The time as Abby: i see what they wanted to do, but i didnt like it that much. I understood why she killed joel and as the lets player said, in her shoes you would have probably tracked that guy down aswell in an post apocalyptic setting where your dad could have saved the world. but I couldn't come to enjoy the time as abby. it it were a seperate game like a dlc, i would have liked it better.

    The ending wasn't good nor bad. i understand what they wanted to do, i would have liked a happy ending, but thats not the nature of this world and thats not what they wanted to tell you.

    One of the best games i've played. Graphics are amazing, the gameplay feels so much better and smoother than in the first game. The story is interesting in its own way. It is something different than we expected but it puts another perspective on the story of Joel and Ellie. People just need to realize that just because the story is not what they expected, it doesn't mean it is bad. IOne of the best games i've played. The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

    If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
