    I'm being 100% honest when I say that I don't understand the divisive reception to this. It's one of the most beautiful stories ever told that makes you feel for every character regardless of their actions and why they do them. The last 5-10 minutes tore me apart.

    Mechanically and visually this game is nearly flawless. I felt right at home with the controls after playing the first game on PS3. Some of the controls are a little old (e.g. weapon selection). The only thing that holds this game back is the story and the decision to make the game longer by playing as multiple characters.

    It is true that the script can be very controversial, but in my opinion it creates a powerful, realistic story that stays true to the spirit of the first part. It can be sad af but after finishing the game i can say it brought me some tears of happiness more than once. Can´t wait to see what HBO brings us with the second season.

    The game that caused me the most anxiety, I loved my experience and it made me remember what it's like to feel trapped in the intrigue just like the last of us 1 did, I don't know if it's better or worse but now it's one of my favorite games.

    El juego es una OBRA DE ARTE. Lastima que las personas que tienen 3iq no sepan apreciarlo y quieran un juego cliché que trata solamente de venganza. TLOU2 Se trata de que Ellie y demás busquen su razón para vivir, tal como Joel y Ellie, Abby y Lev.
    Valieron la pena todos los años que esperé para jugarlo.

Nuanced storytelling is matched only by the exceptional gameplay. I loved the set pieces and level design, especially when the game is non stop action for a long period and they rip out your heart with beautifully told cut scenes.

    Kudos to the writers and performers, the musicians and artists for bringing such a powerful story to life. Now hurry up with Part 3!    … Expand

    Or maybe it was Ellie all along the way? I'd go as far as to say that Cordyceps is the protagonist of this story, but the most important part is that those monkey fans wanted this game to be just like any other game where you play with the main character - talk about inovation.
    Playing with Abby gave you an insight into her reasons for torturing Joel?
    Who side are you on?
    Joel? A guy who killed bunch of innocent people?
    Or Abby? A girl who never did a bad deed until she avenged her father?
    You goddamn idiots, even critics are wrong, because this game deserves a higher score than the first one.    … Expand

    One of the most heart wrenching stories ever. A true lesson in radical empathy. Just because a story is sad (or gay) doesn't make it bad. I'm still reeling over this game weeks after finishing it.

    We learn that if we don't let go our past, we will lose it all, because smo times we have it all but we live stuck in the past, at the end abby understood that and she didn't want to fight anymore, she was looking for hope instead of vengeance.

    we will go through the story as two characters, I played the whole game in 17 hours, game estimate 25 hours, so good animations, weapons, characters, objects and story I give the game 10/10

Starting from the study of the movements of the characters and the skin on the knuckles after the blows, ending with the drawing of mushrooms on the bodies of the infected. Titanic work. I personally especially liked the study of artificial intelligence of enemies. On the difficulty level "uncompromising" with settings realism forced to suffer. Their conversations, the way they constantly come from the back .. It’s difficult and how it was ..

Tackling incredible themes like revenge, guilt, remorse and redemption, The Last Of us II has become one of my favorite games. The game takes courageous decisions, regardless of what the masses want, it is consistent in his lesson and moral, with a sensational journey about choosing light or dark, and the consequences of choosing either. It´s handled well, but it´s not necessarily a natural evolution of the story of the first game. The pacing is the main issue of the story, it´s messy as hell, the main issue with the game.     Oh boy! We are getting really controversial now! Not even when Naughty Dog did the Alien 3 cliche, after my second playthrough, this is actually a fantastic game with fantastic graphics, a hard to get into story, great mechanics and music, and overall while it’s not as good as the first game, it is definitely worth it to either bore yourself or enjoy yourself.

    Definitely the best story in a game that I've ever played. The show has limitations with production costs that the game doesn't have to deal with because they can just animate a fire/explosion/bloody death/etc.

    La storia era molto movimentata, e questo mi piace moltissimo nei videogame. Contiene anche rappresentazioni LBGTQ e per me questo può anche essere interpretato come segno di proteste molto riuscite.

I decided to bump up the score to 8 because of all the review bombs I hated this game thru the second half didn’t finish it for 2 years was so close to where it gets good if you can get thru the slow start of the second half you’ll find an enjoyable experience great graphics I love the gameplay although it’s not for everyone beat the first one multiple times and the ending, I like to think of it as an happy ending as Ellie is wearing Dena’s bracelet otherwise it’s kind like what’s the point I felt mixed on it for awhile but it makes you think a lot I guess I feel as though a lot of people had there emotions rate the game but objectively it’s a 7.5 what takes those points down are pacing issues some poorly written characters overuse of shock factor elements and some believe ability issues other than that I think it’s a great game and a must play even tho the score isn’t that high it’s still worth playing because there’s nothing else like it your in for a roller coaster ride with the highs and lows makes it feel dull at times but get thru it to get to those great parts you won’t regret it in the end… Expand

Em aspectos técnicos não tem como falar mau desse jogo, os gráficos são incríveis, a trilha sonora é ótima, e varias outras qualidades, a história do jogo pode dividir opiniões, pessoalmente acho a história muito boa, porém, acho o roteiro um pouco forçado as vezes, como por exemplo na morte do joel, entendo que depois de 5 anos ele se tornou uma pessoa melhor, mas não acho que em 5 anos ele pode simplesmente esquecer todas as suas habilidades, o cara sozinho faz um massacre no hospital dos Vagalumes, mas morre daquele jeito... Outra coisa que não me agradou muito foi o final, durante eu consegui entender a Abby e não queria que ela morresse, só que naquela cena que a ellie quase mata Abby e desisti do nada, pra mim é frustrante por conta de todo aquele gameplay que agente tem que jogar, sinceramente não me importaria se o jogo acabasse na fazenda mesmo, Ellie e Dina felizes com seu filho...     It's hard to find a story as engaging as the one in this game. I am unbelievable how long it took me to know The Last Of Us. The narrative is extremely gritty and follows bold writing choices to teach about perspectives, consequences, remorse, and a host of other themes. Certainly, it's not a story for everyone, it requires a lot of maturity, but I will never stop loving this franchise as a whole.

    Beautiful game that beautifuly showcases and executes the complexity of human actions and emotions, the outcomes of revenge and mostly the ironic unnecesserity of it. Even though player choice is a subject to be disscussed, it is intentionally not allowed and it's ambitiousness is something to be appreciated.

    Everything about it is masterfully made and pretty much all so called "plot holes" are actually just perfectly sensible choices that characters make or details the game purposefully and logically omits. Beautiful masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

    Now I have my issues with the narrative but I am not as against it as most. I think the gameplay is fantastic and the overall performance is spectacular. I wish they made a few different choices and I’m sad that this doesn’t live up to the original, but it’s still a great game.

    A fantastic game. An absolute emotional roller coaster star to finish. Takes what made the first game great and elevates it further. Be prepared, as many moments are tough to get through because again, like the first, it deals with complex and flawed characters.

The expressions, lightning, physics. My god, is so verossimile. The gore though... insane. After that shocking beginning, we go thirsty to get our revenge. Fortunately, this game just shows us how important a perspective is. At first, I didn't like the Abby section. But when I started to get involved by the scars arc, man... I was totally into it.

    This game is a study of human nature, such as Game of Thrones and Red Dead Redemption. Its connections to the first game add to the original narrative and integrate even more into the discussion about what we do for love. Powerful story. Unfortunately, since English is not my mother language, I really can't express myself about how impactful this game was for me.     People said that The last of us part 1 did not need a sequel and I agreed, But they made a sequel and they made a Great one. This game adds to Ellies story and adds more feelings and emotion to her character. This game is the cherry on top to The Last of Us franchise.
