    Such a fantastic feel of a real world because of little things the AI does for enemies.

    Very gripping hard story that’s a lot to take in.

    This game was the perfect balance of beauty and brutality. Enough to make a 30 old with a heart of stone cry multiple times over what the main characters have gone through. Not just a game, more like an art piece.

    Finally got around to playing this game. Kept waiting for the story to become bad, what with all the user reviews. Instead I repeatedly cried my heart out over these characters and ended the game with such a sense of completion. Only thing holding this game back (graphics are great, level design is awesome for a linear game) is the central gameplay loop.     This game is a masterpiece. It kept me thinking and wanting to talk about it for the solid two months. One of the best narratives I've ever encountered. 9 not a 10 just because I grew tired of scavenging after a while.

    This is an emotional, challenging game to get through, but utterly unforgettable. A phenomenal experience from start to finish, I feel deeply sorry for people who couldn't enjoy it, they have missed out on something special.

    Stunning! Absolutely no expense spared! This is a prime example of pure quality! As far as the story, it's as true to life as it gets! Meaning, not everything in life goes the way you intend. Just as it doesn't in the story. Let the haters hate. That's what they do best! This game and its older brother (part one) are the best experience I have ever had in my entire video gaming history!

    One of the best story based single-player games I have ever played. The gameplay, graphics and story are phenomenal. It's very dark and unforgivable. I loved every second of it and can't get behind the bad reviews. I feel sorry for the people who couldn't enjoy this masterpiece!     My favourite game of the PS4 era. I liked the original a hell of a lot - but this felt way better to me. The combat this time actually felt fun, and it was so fun to take people out and stealth around. And look, I get it, the story was controversial but I really enjoyed it. This is in my top 3 games of all time, probably - it's not MGS3 but it scratches somewhat of a similar itch for me.

Зря только накинулись на нее из-за повесточки, ибо, если рассматривать с точки зрения "повесточки", к примеру"Super Mario", то "Nintendo" вообще сделали игру про братьев наркоманов-педофилов.     Last of us is one of the best games I've ever played. You can really understand the whole dilemma and the power of the plot of the second part only at the end, therefore, despite all the hatred for Abby, I advise you to go through the game to the end.

    Technically flawless. Good story, although no where near as emotionally impactful as the first game, and the ending is both unbelievable and dissapointing in equal measure. It makes no sense. Still an absolute must play title. The graphics and audio design are mind blowing.

Everything ranging from the newly fleshed acessibility gameplay mechanics all the way to the superb writing by Neil Druckmann and Westworld’s Halley Gross is pure excellence. Naughty Dog, this is easily your guys’ best work since Uncharted 2 and there is a reason why you guys are the top underdogs in the gaming business on delivering the very best experience as possible and I hope you guys get royally compensated for creating this incredible follow-up masterpiece.     Way better than the first game in my opinion.
    I got very emotional throughout the story and that really tells me when a game is well written and fun for me. The gun mechanics were better and more fun than in the first game, with aiming being more smooth and reliable to work with. I would definitely recommend this to someone that has played the first game.

Naughty dog again did an incredible job in storytelling, graphics and so on. You as a player really feel the way the characters feel in the game and it makes you think, trust me. With this story the player himself is animated to think about the good and bad. Is Abby really „the bad one“ for killing Joel? Isn‘t Ellie „the bad one“ because she wants revenge at all costs and even gives up her happy relationship for revenge? These are only some of the questions the player asks himself while playing and this is what makes the game absolutely incredible.… Expand

Ogrywałem ją 4 razy i za każdym razem byłem wciągnięty w tą fabułę i nie mogłem się od niej oderwać. Historia która przedstawia ta gra to majstersztyk. Zarazem remastered i part ll są obowiązkowym tytułem do ogrania na konsoli. Jestem wielkim fanem gier post-apo a ta trafiła u mnie w punkt. Jako naczelny fan serii tlou od czasów ps3 musiałem napisać recenzję lecz widzę , że spadł wielki hate na twórców gry za uśmiercenie głównej postaci w pierwszych 2 godzinach gry, początkowo nie potrafiłem się z tym pogodzić i przez tydzień nie wychodziłem z domu. Lecz musiałem się dowiedzieć co będzie dalej. I było warto.

    Геймплей стал ещё лучше с 1 части, если вы играете на высоком уровне сложности. Так вы получите выживач с ограниченным количеством боеприпасов, аптечек, больше патронов на врага и заставит играть стелсом. Своими эффектами, боевкой и стрельбой это 10/10
    Разные мелкие детали, как физика коней, физика самого персонажа, звуки оружия, физика стекла, кровь, огонь - это просто невероятно.
    Игра шикарная, кто бы что ни говорил. Если вы ждёте тяжёлую, мрачную, серьезную, интересную историю, то покупайте и вы не пожалеете    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The most intense Video game I ever played. I loved it for that. I can't say whether I like the first or second part more. They were just so different. The first part had this funny moments and this great story of Joel and Ellie and their relationship. The second one was not rewarding in that sense. It was dark, cruel and made you feel miserable. It was so tough to watch Joel die and even harder to see how their relationship was getting worse towards the end (since Ellie realized he lied about the fireflies).
    It was also so hard to start playing Abby (a character you want to see dead after torturing and killing Joel). I couldn't really appreciate the gameplay at this moment, since I just didn't want to play the last 4 days again as Abby. I had to know what will happen to Ellie in the theatre, and the 10 hour of Abby gameplay was just "in the way", always wondering if you would have to kill Ellie in the end. Now after finishing the game and knowing everything, these 10 hours were good, the story was good, the characters were interesting, he scenery was epic and Abby started to look less and less like a monster. It's just at the time of playing you can't appreciate it , you just want to know what happens in this theatre.

    In the end you can understand Abby somewhat, but still I couldn't really relate to her or find her likable. But personally I really liked the end. I think Ellie realized that Abby is to Lev what Joel was to her and so she didn't kill her.

    One thing I really missed in the sequel is Ellie's humorous character. Unfortunately she (the writers) totally missed this. This would have been important for me since the story and atmosphere is anyways so incredible dark, that would have lightened the mood a little.

    To conclude this: The last of us Part 2 is an absolute Masterpiece for me, but also mentally one of the most difficult games ever. I can't remember that a game ever made me think that much. The feelings this game generates are just immense, and it is really hard to handle them at times.    … Expand

I feel like Joel needed to die, especially early, for the story to progress and for Ellie to grow as a character. The whole revenge plot is both complex and compelling. Also all of the flashbacks of Joel and Ellie are that much more tender because he died. Also this game does anIts insane how ND made a perfect game even better in part 2.     In PS5 you can play it at 60 fps and the realism is awesome.

    However, the story is worse than TLOUI and Abby's part is a bit boring

I've been holding off on this title for awhile now due to reviews and decided to finally play it and completed it. it is a pretty solid title, i loved the 1st game kind of sad to see what happens to some characters, but the story has emotion, kept me on the edge of my seat most of the game. I get it, people can't handle certain parts of the story and review bombs this game because of story doesn't go the way they want it to. To me the story is solid, gameplay is solid. this is a awesome game. great job naughty dog.… Expand

    I spent like 30+ hours trying to loot as more as I can, search for every item possible and most of the time I was a bit complaining about the story. But at the end - screw all my complains.     I spent like 30+ hours trying to loot as more as I can, search for every item possible and most of the time I was a bit complaining about the story. But at the end - screw all my complains. The story is just great. The way they tell it, all twists, some hidden moment - just fantastic. I probably won’t play it again ever since it’s very dark and I have some personal emotions, but will definitely recommend it to everybody.
    Graphics, level design, music - everything is just great.

People is hating because they didn't get their typical linear story and they aren't able to appreciate what goes beyond with their little closed minds.

    Regarding what I didn't like, it is really a lengthy game and it felt way too long. I don't know if it was made on purpose but towards the end it seems like it is going to end in several moments (because of the location) but then you realise that there are still maaaany hours of game left. I would have chosen other locations to avoid generating this feeling of "tiredness".

    Even though this game was about revenge and violence it was a story about mainly forgiveness and that revenge is not the answer. Gameplay and user interface was awesome so realistic ganeplay.

The graphics are incredible, the level of detail seen here is unlike 99% of the games released on the market, the gunplay is pretty much as good as it gets with great gore, unique voice lines for most enemies, even standard NPCs, incredible difficulty settings (that's a rare compliment to give a game) and some of the best SOUND I've ever experienced in a game. You hear every little thing in this game, from tiny pieces of glass softly crunching as you slowly creep around claustrophobic abandoned buildings, to the breath of your enemy down the hallway. The survival horror aspect of this game is also on-point. You will find yourself legitimately scrounging for ammo and trying to conserve your shots while in combat, which forces you to get creative with your approaches and actually give a damn about how you take these levels on. It's not just about mindless crouch jogging and pressing Square to stealth kill clueless AIs, and then mindlessly running through swarms of bad guys with your overpowered weaponry. The stealth is unique, creative, and challenging. The combat makes your heart race and you'll quickly find yourself getting flanked from multiple directions by intelligent AI that will actually work together to try to flush you out. The cut scenes are fully rendered and beautiful, there's not a single scene in this game that looks bad, and the mild RPG elements of collecting parts for weapons upgrades and pills for stat upgrades goes just deep enough to scratch an itch without being overbearing.

    Disagreeing with certain plot points and subjects within the game (such as the "oh violence bad" criticism) doesn't suddenly strip all of this away. Reviewing the game with a 0 or 1 PURELY on the plot, when the gameplay is at the WORST a 7/10 is just entirely dishonest and childish. Criticism where it's due, but also CREDIT where its due, and the devs that were responsible for the GAMEPLAY and visuals of this game had nothing to do with the narrative side and they don't deserve to be ripped on when they did an amazing job in every way imaginable.

    If you don't know anything about The Last of Us 2, then keep it that way, and just go into this game with a clear mind and enjoy the ride. If I can describe this game in one word it would be TENSION. Every step, every hallway, every building you search, feels tense. You always feel like you're a moment away from a horde, or a giant group of armed men with dogs and you never know when it's going to come. This feeling keeps the entire game feeling fresh and keeps you invested, as opposed to other games where you're so ridiculously powerful halfway through you just monotonously trudge around the map mowing down everything in your path. This game is NOT that. If you pick up the controller, you'll find it hard to put it down.    … Expand

    If you want a game with great gameplay and impactful storytelling this is the one for you.

    For the uninitiated, The Last of Us universe has the player living in a post-apocalyptic world where survival is tough. There are many ways to survive in the world, but most people group together to form communities or militia. The government is mostly gone, like the population. You play as characters trying to live in this world.

    I loved the first game and never thought anything would come close to matching the impact of that story, but the continuation of the story in part two blew me away. The game play is phenomenal. The only problem with the first game for me was that the gameplay was clunky and didn't match quality of the story. That isn't a problem here, where both are superb. I like the changes they made in game play. It is so handy not having to craft a shiv for half the game! I like that you can play stealthily or aggressively. I'm a mix of both, but as someone who isn't a great gamer I tended to use stealth as much as possible, so being able to go prone really suited my play style.

    I love stories where the characters are flawed but make human decisions, whether good or bad. The Last of Us Part 2 tells a story where the players make tough, heartbreaking and sometimes awful decisions. The story takes you places where few others dare to go, mostly because they play it safe to appease the angry and loud minority that tarnish the internet. The story is all the better for it. The journeys that the characters went through were so well thought out and written with amazing performances.

    I really enjoyed the story some of the story was really heartbreaking, like the obvious death, to the decisions of Ellie and Abby later in the game. It is a game where the player gets to experience every emotion, which speaks to the quality of the writing and the performances.

    I hated Abby for what she did but it doesn’t take the user long to get over it because he portion if the game explains why what happened happened.

    This is a game everyone should play. 10/10 would play again and again. It's an experience I can't keep gushing about.

So, How to pass the baton from Joel to Ellie? You know the answer as I think Its wonderfully written and executed, yet brutal. It's a perfect way to ignite ourselves to be invested in Ellie. Although, I gonna say I'm more invested in Abby arc then Ellie because it's more dynamic and meaningful which some of you might give a bad review due to this Abby arc.

    There's also a very deep message in this game which all about revenge. When you lost someone and you took the path of revenge, you'll end up losing more. Both Ellie and Abby ending up losing all they had before (people they love and place that they can call home).

    I also would like to appreciate Naughty Dog as they didn't play safe at all and they break all people expectation that all kinds of story will have a "Hollywood Ending".

    I hope this bomb review didn't affect Naughty Dog to much to be creative and different from another game studio. Looking forward to see another masterpiece from you, Naughty Dog as currently nobody can beat you in-terms of Story or Narrative.    … Expand

    The gameplay, graphics, sound, and the first half of the story were awesome. thought the story declined in quality as it went on but I think it picked up again from the hospital basement section of Abby's story.

Everyone have loved ones and everyone is willing to go through a lot to preserve them.

    I honestly never played a game that played with my emotions like that. To sympathize with the enemy? That took me by surprise.

    I do recommend playing this game, but a word of advice, keep an open mind while doing so. Let go of your attachments to characters and actually listen to the message being delivered. Try to feel what it's like to be Ellie, Joel, or Abby. It's not a one dimensional story, there's depth to it.    … Expand

    My score of 10 is a protest against all the ones and zeroes given by clueless people that don't know how proper rating is done. Just because your favourite character was killed you rate it 0? Seriously? I would actually rate this game at 7 or 8. Joel is not a hero as many seem to think. He went against Ellies will to create a cure for the humanity. He doomed the whole civilization to live with this horrible infection. He killed so many people in his way for his own selfish reasons.

    The bad

    The story is of course the main disapointment. It seems too stretched, especially at the end. It wen't quite well actually until the game started switching from Ellie to Abby and different timelines. It was very confusing and hard to follow. Ellies part was quite good mostly but I think that Joel's death shouldn't be at the beginning of the game. Abby's part felt especially full of unnecessarily slow gameplay (if you can call walking around a gameplay).

    The good

    I played on hard difficulty and the game seemed balaced. The resources were scarse but I always had just enough to get me through different situations. AI seemed quite clever as well. Constantly flanking and without obvious patrolling patterns forcing you to move around and look for ways to use the environment to your advantage.

    Same as part one, guns feel heavy and powerful but my favourite is close combat. Can't think of any other game that does it so well. Every hit feels heavy and bone breaking. Different kill scenes depending from the environment is a cherry on top.

    Graphics are great. I played PS5's improved version but even on the good old PS4 it looks amazing. It honestly looks like magic to make a severly outdated PS4 hardware draw such beautiful high fidelity scenes. Attention to detail of the world and random small talk as you explore comes as a final polish. Technically the game feels finished. I didn't encounter a single bug during my two playthroughs. Unfortunately this seems quite rare in todays market to release a game without a regular patches afterwards that are meant to fix the game breaking bugs.

    Conclusion

    TLOU suffers mostly from the success of it's previous part and extremely high expectations of gamers. Of course many story related developer decisions raise questions however other aspects of the game were executed very well.

The score contributes to this immersion with the sound effects of you getting caught upping the risk and once again thinking about how you encounter everything. Only things I don’t like about this game is some of the character interactions with Ellie and Dina being extremely forced and someone times the story makes turns when someone is about to climax which makes me feel disappointed like **** I just want to see what happens but no now I have to do all this other **** Anyways great game great story and **** the haters… Expand
