    Best game I've played for this generation of consoles and one the best I ever played in my life! I felt so many emotions during the gameplay, I cryed a lot, I laughed, I got nervous... I was deep in it for it has an impressive history, perfect mechanics, mind-blowing grafucs and and rest gameplay. Just buy it.

    Flaws not everything is perfect I didn’t like how I played as Abby for like about 12 hours I didn’t like how joel dies wish he could of stayed longer the end of the Abby Ellie fight could of ended in a Ellie killing Abby but wat ever the pacing is a problem but I was used to it as I played alien isolation and that game took forever like this game to finish oh And the first Abby and Ellie fight at the theatre I didn’t like I didn’t really want to hurt Ellie at all but I just had to go thought with it gameplay is 10/10 one funny thing about the gameplay is wen I killed an enemy and there screams are still there even tho I killed them the graphics omg is the best on the ps4 can’t wait to se it on the ps5 and for the ps4 touchpad well uh the guitar is probably the best use of that since the ps4 came out    … Expand

    The last of us part 2 continues from where the last of us left off, the people rating this low have obviously not played the first one. It is a great game so far (have only gotten halfway) and I have not been disappointed, just wish they brought back multiplayer. (I spent lots of long nights playing the factions mode) keep up the great work naughty dog you have yet to disappoint me. The thing that happens at the end of the prologue didn't bother me and I thought it was a great way to start of the game. However *SPOILERS* playing as Abby for almost 10 hours really brought the game down in my opinion. I understand trying to make her more compelling and I'm glad they tried and I liked the parallel with Joel on the first game but her section has very little to do with Ellies. I was expecting to see my actions as Ellie in a new light as Abby and when, for example I didn't go to the hospital again as Abby I was really confused. It also lasts way to long, 5-6 hours would have been better.

    That being said while it might not reach the greatness of the first I still think about 70 percent of it is a 10/10 story , with the rest being a 6 or something.    … Expand

    The game is fantastic at least for the first 3/4 of the game. The game had everything graphics, combat and a great story however the ending to the story was not as satisfying as I hoped it to be. However, I would still recommend purchasing the game as it is still a very good game and is still my favorite game of the year even though I didn't like the end of the story.

I intentionally avoided all of the leaked info on this game because I wanted to play it as a fresh game. I loved TLOU part 1 and the expansion it is 1 of my favorite games of all times.     I have not completed the game yet. I started playing it yesterday and played from about 5PM till about 3AM I had planned on stopping at midnight but I lost track of time. I then played again today for another 5 hours so far. I stopped to write this review and then I'm going back to the game.
    I don't understand the hate for this game from the review bombers. Especially since most of them seem to have posted it without really even playing the game.
    So far I think the story is amazing. I love the game play and I love the way the game flows. It is like a good book that is hard to put down.
    I was put off by the aiming mechanics at first but I think it was done intentionally. You aren't supposed to be a 1 man killing machine that can auto lock onto everything you see and you do unlock skills later on that improve your aiming speed so that you get a feeling of improvement while also actually improving just because you start to become more accustomed to the controls.
    I haven't completed the game yet so I can't say how I feel about the ending but I can say that I am having a lot of fun playing this game right now and really enjoying the story and the visuals and to me that is what makes a game good.
    I don't really care about whether or not this game is a political statement or some LGBTQ propaganda that some people are claiming it to be. (I don't believe that it is either)
    I think the characters are well written and it does a great job of continuing from where the DLC of TLOU part 1 ended.
    Do yourself a favor and ignore all of the zero reviews and try the game for yourself.    … Expand

Forse l'unica pecca del gioco è essersi concetrato troppo sul trasmettere un determinato tipo di messaggio, cedendo il fianco ad un ritmo di narrazione un po troppo altalenante, e alcune scelte del proseguimento della storia non proprio esaltanti.     Dog released a bigger, richer, longer and darker adventure, but its surprising story plays wickedly with the fans hopes, and question the very nature of roles, and what humanity should stand for. If only more AAA games could choose for such strong choices despite the consequences, the media would surely be more interesting

There are so many aspects that go into a game, and the story is but a fraction of what the user experiences. It is almost always impossible for a game to truly deserve a 0. From Gameplay to Music to Graphics to Story, and everything else in between, there are so many facets a reviewer needs to consider.

    The numerical review standard that has been set is inherently flawed, and a simple solution would be to limit reviews to people who have actually purchased (and to a further extend, played for a couple hours) the game. Have the review be split into the core parts that define a game, such as those I mentioned before, including but not limited to; story, gameplay, ui, music, graphics, etc.    … Expand

    Ein wahres Meisterwerke mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail wahrlich ein würdiger zweiter Teil! Auch wenn die Story ihre (sehr) kleine schwächen hat überschatten die Stärken diese um längen! Danke Naughty Dog für dieses großartige Erlebnis voller Emotionen. Meiner Meinung nach einfach eines der besten Spiele der letzten Jahre!

In my opinion the games story reflects the saying "If you're going after revenge then you may start digging two graves" and it does this beautifully. Theres also a difference between playing a game yourself to the end and watching someone else playing it, you dont get as invested.     In Short TLOU2 is in my opinion one of the best PS4 games if not the best PS4 game of all time, the story is extrememly well written and the characters are very well grounded, the graphics are stunning and the gameplay copys a lot off the first game with added elements for example the ability to squeeze through tight gaps and enemys calling out to flank you.

    People are rating this game 0/10 after joels death. the reason for joels death makes narrative sense is as you play joel in the 1st TLOU you follow one man willing to do anything for Ellie his surrogate daughter (in a way). But as you play as Abby in TLOU2 you can see joel in a different light how he selfishly mowed down a huge majority of the Fireflys to save one girl and ruin the chance for a cure along with killing Abbys father.

    At the time where it cut to playing as Abby (The villain) i was wanting to get through it as fast as i could to get back to playing as Ellie, but whilst playing you notice there are obvious similarities between both Ellie and Abby, they are both stuck in a love triangle (Ellie with Dina & Jesse, Abby with Owen and Mel) both groups of people have someone who is pregnant and both characters parents have died.

    on the ending - at the time i was upset Ellie spared Abby but looking back on it i can understand why she did, these two characters and how much damage they have done to each other with nothing to show for it. If Ellie did kill Abby she would of spared Lev (Because Lev spared Dina and Ellie) and the whole cycle of revenge would of began again with Lev and Ellie (An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind).    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. No entiendo las criticas a este titulo, como le gusta a la gente llorar por la muerte de Joel a las 2 horas de juego. Dicho esto, procedo a hacer mi critica.

    La trama principal trata sobre la venganza y de como una persona se auto-destruye cegad@ por la venganza, es un titulo muy adulto, la cual niños de 15 años no entenderán.

    El Gameplay es exactamente el mismo que el 1 con pequeñas mejoras como el tumbarse en la maleza, esquivar a los infectados con el L1, para mi este apartado es lo peor de este titulo.

    Los personajes son humanos con sus altibajos y sus puntos fuertes, son todos humanos, no parecen sacados de un videojuego.

    El primer flashback con Joel, se me ha caído una lagrima, porque fue muy tierno todo y no me esperaba volver a ver, ha estado bien que nunca jugaras con Joel,

    Y el final me ha gustado, es muy simbólico, dejando la guitarra que le dio Joel como diciendo que ha pasado pagina.

    Ojalá con el tiempo la gente se quite la polla de Joel del culo y vea lo buen titulo que es este TLOU 2, porque es un titulo de notable alto, valiente y con huevos a contar su historia sin tapujos.

    Uma história com grandes expressões emocionais, ótimos desempenhos gráficos, jogabilidade. O jogo anterior ja tinha preparado os jogadores para a mudança de jogabilidade com a Ellie de que certamente algo aconteceria com Joel da qual não poderíamos jogar com ele.

Pero no entiendo por que Joel murió de forma tan estúpida... Osea era Joel, el tipo que hacía contrabando y iba contra todas las luciérnagas el solo... Y para colmo no fueron las luciérnagas quienes lo mataron, fueron... Unos chicos... Te da un sentimiento de pesadez, como si hayan tomado la decisión de Joel como algo para matarlo por que "hizo las cosas mal" no. No era suficiente, si Joel debía sufrir entonces al menos valía de desarrollar su sufrimiento, darle una muerte que tuviera más papel, y no una muerte que metiera a ellie en el mismo problema que la otra tipa está que creo que es hombre pero todos dicen que es trans pero la verdad lo que menos importa es lo que sea, lo que importa es que hizo… Expand

    Visually stunning and passionate, vicious combat and fun stealth.
    This game is better than the first one and anybody that doesn't agree is just wrong.
    They played the shock value in this game much like Neegan did with the walking dead, it's rough to experience, but builds on the drive of the main character.
    People need to stop being pu##ies and enjoy.

    Best game of this generation so far, all those negative user reviews is just hate train. Developers made masterpiece, all their time involved in production... every detail, thank you for it :D I loved every minute of it. Game play is improved over the first part, AI is challenging and thers a great amount of action and stealth. Myśle że zakończenie tej historii jest genialnie poprowadzone (Jak i sama gra), wspomnienie które widzi Ellie przez sekundę podczas duszenia Abby nie oznacza "Joel by tego nie chciał/nie warto zabijać" tylko to jest nawiązanie do Ellie będącej w stanie spróbować wybaczyć Joelowi tego co zrobił, jednak nigdy nie miała szansy tego zrobić ponieważ dzień później Joel zginął. Skoro Ellie potrafiła wybaczyć Joelowi zabranie sensu jej życia i zniszczenie szansy na szczepionkę, zdała sobie sprawę że potrafi tez wybaczyć to, co zrobiła Abby. To jest jak rozumiem zakończenie tej gry, dla mnie jest ono najlepszym rozwiązaniem tej historii o kole nienawiści które rozpoczął Joel. To smutna i trudna gra i taka miała być, to nie jest opowieść o szczęśliwym życiu Ellie i Joela, to historia nienawiści i zadawania sobie pytania "co jest dobre a co złe" i to, gra zrobiła genialnie. 10/10… Expand

    This game blew my expectations! Super amazing game play and open world exploration. The dynamics of the game play from the fight scenes to the intense story line were phenomenal. I know that most people won't agree with what happens to some of the characters but this game is just amazing.

    First off, the leaks
    The leaks are what killed this game for many people, the ending and the characters were out of context in just cutscenes. You have to play through this game to understand the arc of the characters and why they do the things they do.
    Take for example the first game. Joel decides to save Ellie from having surgery, he kills innocent people and takes a chance of a cure away from the world. If this was shown in a few cutscenes, this would seem stupid. But if you play through the game and build a connection between Joel and Ellie, his actions seem more justified. This is what happens in this game.
    Ellie decides to spare Abby in the final fight. She spares the killer of her only father figure and one of the fan's most beloved characters. But you find out why if you take in the flashbacks. She tries to forgive Joel for getting rid of the chance for a vaccine, so why can't she try and forgive Abby for what she did. By killing Abby she'd be no better than she was, so she lets her go, but not without a beating.
    I am not saying this game is up to par with most of ND's writing, but I found the game and it's story engaging and I enjoyed it a lot.    … Expand

    Absolutely love this game! Honestly I don't understand any of the bad reviews. The story is so gripping, in that way that you feel what the characters feel. This game has made me laugh, cry, shout, JUMP and I love it!! Naughty Dog have done an amazing job, as expected. Cannot recommend it enough. 10/10 on all espects of the game.

    Но вот если рассматривать игру со стороны сюжета, то он плох. Очень нелогичные повороты сюжета, среди которых максимально глупое убийство Джоэла, пощада Эбби в конце (можно было добавить интерактивности и дать игрокам выбирать самим) и т.д.
    Что касается лгбт повестки, она вписана в игру отлично, особо сюжету не мешает.
    Так что, исходя из этого игру я могу назвать одновременно игрой года и разочарованием года, к сожалению. Всем советую к прохождению    … Expand
