    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, this review will have minor spoilers. The game has a wonderfully crafted story. I was very impressed by seeing what happened through the eyes of the main villain, whom we were chasing throughout the whole game, getting to know his friends and family and justifying him. It left me so helpless to agree with both Ellie and Abby. But the finale was great for me. There is nothing to criticize in the gameplay part. All NPCs have a character, name and friends. That's incredible. Graphics and other elements were way ahead of their time. On top of that, the game was dubbed in Turkish and I really loved it! Thank you to Naughty Dog for bringing this masterpiece to us.… Expand

    I understand many people have so much to say about this game, in negative ways, yes.
    I am also disappointed with some parts of the game but it does not make me rate this game lower than score 10. This is visual masterpiece. The story plot was amazing. I don't say it's good or bad.
    It was something beyond rating it good or bad, it was great. It's worth playing eventhough you might hate it.

    Rope physic, cover detection, motion matching, breathing system and more. Just 2700 animations for locomation. Very functional brutal combat and very dramatic story

    Trilha sonora impecável. Personagens cativantes, cenários deslumbrantes. A estória e a ação não cansam e prendem a atenção do jogador. Depois que zera, tem que jogar o modo punitivo. Recompensador quando pega a platina. Um dos melhores games de todos os tempos. Merecido o prêmio de melhor game do ano.

A připadnemi že hráči kteří této hře dali špatné hodnocení jen kvůli tomu že Joel byl zabit za cca 2 hodiny v příběhu nebo že Ellie je lesba tak jsou opravdu hloupí a trapní. Protože je normální že nějaká hlavní postava nebo oblíbená postava umře a nebo že je jinak orientovaná.

    Ни одна игра до этого не давала мне такого количества эмоций, это шедевр. Каждая сцена вызывала сильное сердцебиение и пробивала слёзы, играя на струнах души благодаря бесподобной музыке. Сюжет великолепен и слов не хватит. Это были великолепные две недели прохождения, которые навсегда останутся в памяти. Я не мог сдерживать слёзы, я был настроен на сильную драму, игра превзошла всеНи одна игра до этого не давала мне такого количества эмоций, это шедевр. Каждая сцена вызывала сильное сердцебиение и пробивала слёзы, играя на струнах души благодаря бесподобной музыке. Сюжет великолепен и слов не хватит. Это были великолепные две недели прохождения, которые навсегда останутся в памяти. Я не мог сдерживать слёзы, я был настроен на сильную драму, игра превзошла все ожидания.     This game change my life, many games trying to convey an experience like this where we put in the character's place and feel the same thing that Ellie felt and how it ended up with him following the path he chose but deep down still There was kindness in the ellie of the first the last of us but it seems that some people have forgotten that.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I believe if Naughty Dog made a classical revenge story with a couple of dead characters at the end. user Score will be 9 out of 10. That will be a safe story with a classic Hollywood vibe.

    But this game was nothing like we have ever see. It was complex storytelling with a successful revenge plot. The game perfectly explains the consequences of actions. The cost of revenge. It was a bold move to put people into Abby's perspective. It explains the concept of "every story has two sides" perfectly.

    After I finish the game. It stuck to me while sitting at home. It was a very powerful game.
    I hope the Overall User score with a lot of "Simple story lovers" did not affect the Naughty Dog creative team. hope to see Great stories like this.    … Expand

    I just love this game.

    It brings sadness, love, hate, anger, empathy and regret right up in your face in a way I have never seen in a video game before, and in few other types of media too.
    I suspect a story told in this way would not have worked as well in other types of media, and that makes it very special.

    Tlou2 is like a philosophy art, emotions , what game try to understand... and the gameplay is awesome. When you play it , you feel like you are in the game. you scare when you hear guns, clickers. Don't care about people who don't like the history. They are who don't love philosophical things

    The last of us 2 es una continuación perfecta del primer título, simplemente la gente no era lo que esperaba por matar al protagonista del anteriro juego y a la gente no le gustó eso, es uno de los juegos que más te hace reflexionar cuando lo acabas, creo que es un juego que tiene que jugar obligado todo el mundo que le gusten las buenas narrativas tanto este como el primer juego

La vengeance appel la vengeance et n'apporte que le mal au fond. La conclusion et d'ailleurs assez cool et beaucoup plus recherché que ce que certain pense.

On ne voie pas l'impacte crée par Ellie sur Abby et c'est bien dommage. J'espère qu'un Part' 3 viendra pour enfin conclure l'histoire du cordycepts !

    Pour le reste le gameplay reste très agréable et facile a prendre en main, les graphisme sont excellent et la mise en scène et poignante ! Tres bon jeux pour ma par , j'en redemande !    … Expand

    Even better than its prequel (didn't think that was even possible). If the first one is a story about the humanization of Joel, this one is about Ellie's fall into an abyss of loss, despair and vengeance.

    Les gens qui disent que le jeu est nul avec-de 5/10 sont soit des gens colérique puéril et immature sans esprit critique qui ne peuvent accepter la mort d'un personnage et apprécier un scénario et des graphismes hors du communs soit des Rageux sur xbox qui pleurent parce que que ils ne peuvent pas y jouer et déchaine leur frustration avec des notes négatives...

    Un jeu qui comme on s’y attend à un scénario incroyable. Techniquement je ne m étendrait pas tant je suis pas apte à faire de différence sur le framerate ou la qualité visuelle mais on en prend plein la vue c est sûre . Personnellement j ai trouver la difficulté était présente et j ai bien buter sur certain passage mais si j ai réussi à le finir c est qu elle est pas insurmontable. I finally played it and was already scared because I heard a lot of bad things about the game and knew about it's bad rating. Even though it's really tough to play Abby in the beginning (because I hated her sooo much) it made sense in the end. Her part was maybe a bit to long and for the most part I thought: I will kill you as soon as I can, but in the end scene I was really scared for both characters. It was a very bold decision to let the player play the enemy, but it showed that there are no good or bad, hero or villan in this story. I really liked it.… Expand

    What to say about this masterpiece, which is the last of us part two, without a doubt the best game of the ps4 generation, good gameplay, beautiful graphics, best facial expression ever made in a game, the story mode was pretty bold, showing two sides of the same coin the last of us and a work of art from beginning to end.

    Je ne peux pas y mettre 10/10 car il y a trop de longueurs qui n'apportent rien à l'histoire. 5-10h de moins pour le finir et ça aurait été un jeu parfait.

    A magnificent display of talent in every respect. Held back only by the split story because it occasionally leaves you doing things you really don't want to do.

    I think with a split story like this one, alternative gameplay options should be given even if they result in the exact same outcome.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where to start, this is almost a masterpiece, but it has some flaws, but first of all, lets start with the things i liked about the game

    - Unfortunately, i got spoiled with Joel’s death, but i didn’t knew how, or when this happens, this broke my heart, but this intrigued me just the enough to seek revenge.

    - Loved the characters, especially Abby, the fact that she’s Jerry Anderson daughter, makes the story perfect continuation from the first game.

    - The inclusion in the game with Dina and Ellie, is just perfect, it is not forced and try to change no one’s “taught” or “sexual orientation”, in my personal opinion, i found this inclusion really natural.

    - The game graphics are on other level, love the colors and the environments.

    - Loved the few jumpscares that they implemented, just the exact amount to make it unpredictable.

    - And to finish with the things i liked about the game, the storyline is so God Damn good, i really enjoyed the game.

    - The inventory and the loot you gather it’s just the right exact amount. Flaws: The game isn’t perfect, it has some bugs here and there but nothing really enough to make me complain, at least for my experience.

    - The very first chapter with Abby when arriving to Santa Monica, after the Aquarium, made me feel a little bored, i felt like the game was notoriously extended, but the next few minutes before that, the game felt just quite right.

    - The only bug that is really noticeable, is the blinking foliage that sometimes i got, nothing out of this world, but in my opinion, it is something that is really easy to fix, and that never got fixed.

    - Sometimes the melee attacks felt really awful, missed some hits that wasn’t really gonna miss.

    - In some occasions, i just wanted to go stealth, but the AI made it so impossible, not the o this is stealth hard, no it was really imposible.

    And thats quite it, i really enjoyed the game.    … Expand

    The last of us part 2 tells a story that makes you feel every kind of emotions so deeply. Hate, love, sadness, happiness notions processed as perfect as first game. Amazing scenario aside gameplay and ambiance are awesome as well.

    Yes, a lot was not as much as I would like to see it, but nevertheless, I experienced just a gigantic range of emotions during the passage, and this is probably worthy of applause.

    I haven't played a game that has felt so real to me as The Last of Us part 2. Everything from the amazing gameplay to the stellar graphics and the tremendous voice acting makes the experience so unique to any other game. The story is great but with some minor adjustments to the explaining of the characters motives would be beneficial. Когда когда на половине игры у тебя забирают уже прокаченную Элли, у которой уже всё оружее, ресурсы и навыки, и впихивают "голую" Эбби без оружия, ресурсов и навыков, то воспринимается это не очень хорошо. 3.) Мне понятна сюжетная линия и её смысл, но когда тебе уже насильно впихивают историю Эбби, то очень наскучивает, всё прохождение за Эбби у меня вызывало лишь скуку и неприязнь. У меня как у огромного фаната первой части, конечно вызвало возмущение убийство Джоэла в самом начале, но позже оно утихло. Я понимаю смысл истории,-что Элли сошла с ума на почве мести, но ничего столь плохого я в сюжете не вижу, теперь первая часть воспринимается как: "сказка про розовых единорогов", не иначе, ведь вторая часть намного жёстче и сложнее (в морали) .     Played this game after a year and a half of release because of all the release fud, and I'm really glad I could get past that and focus on my own player experience. Overall, I think the story was well thought out. Abby stepped up to the plate (no pun intended) even though she knew she was going to be a hated character from the get-go.... And she was, but they made her that way on purpose. We had to hate her, ellie had to hate her, so we could play through her revenge phase and EXPERIENCE Ellie's rage right along side of her. But also to experience the emotional and psychological scars, the guilt, the shame.... Then comes Abby.... was it easy to play as her? No. But I enjoyed getting to know her, her back story, her motives, her friends, and what she was all about. And to walk a mile or two in her shoes really gives some perspective on the emotional and psychological turmoil she too was going through. Both Ellie and Abby loved and lost and both sought revenge, and neither found what they were looking for: closure. Instead, they both suffered further consequences. This isn't just a flat 2-d story of revenge, this game goes so much deeper. It was a longer game, 25+ hrs, but that time is needed to build an understanding. I think a revenge plot, fulfilled, would have fallen flat as a story line with no character arc. Instead we experience a game with more emotions and conflict than ever before. I went in knowing and wanting to hate Abby, but left the game wanting to know more about her and her situation and, if I'm being completely honest for a guy who hasn't pretty much zero empathy for anyone, had a great amount of empathy and compassion for what she'd been through by the end. It's so strange of an ending as you don't know who to root for anymore. The game helps you with that as you don't have a choice, but looking back, I think that would have been a saving grace for the whole controversy this game underwent.... Just the allowance of the end-user to make a choice as to how they wanted things to end. And that choice would lead to it's own ending and consequences for the character. (Far Cry pulls it off time and again, why couldn't TLOU do it?) At the end, it's a story with 2 distinct character arcs, and comes down to the simplicity of forgiveness. I do believe the game had some of it's own agenda items to push and I don't necessarily agree with the major push behind that, but I won't get into that here as I didn't see that it detracted that much from the story, but definitely skirted the line of unnecessary intrusion. Not taking any points off for that. Gameplay was great, graphics were great, weapons and upgrade system was fine, I thoroughly enjoyed the game, but due to the personal emotional turmoil, I don't know that I'd go through it again. That and the jump scares, daggum this game had some solid effing scares in it! Speaking of jump scares, the sound design was spot on, the musical score was spot on.... Overall, was dark and gritty, gruesome and graphic, but a masterpiece in it's own way. I'd like to see some DLC's on how things ended up afterwards. I think there's some loose ends the player base may be interested to know more about.… Expand

    TLOU2; The best post-apocalyptic game I've played, was an incredible masterpiece in every cases but in some situations, it was evident that the directors and the writers, Wanted to enforce somethings that people would hate that its happend.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think sadly, in a way, the story of this game was too progressive for its audience and for the gaming culture of today. Whilst it's brutal and emotionally difficult to process, I think the game accurately portrays grief and loss and how it can change a person to the point that they are unrecognisable. I'm not going to sit here and say that it's a perfect game, there are flaws the same as all, but I don't think it deserves the amount of hate it receives.

    The reason why I have given it a 10 is because in my eyes, the story makes perfect sense, the scenery and music is beautiful and the game play is just really fun. Joel dying in the beginning happened because he had it coming to him, as unfortunate and devastating as that is (I cried for hours). Ellie then turns into a person that we don't recognize from the first game, fuelled by hatred and betrayal and sadness as a now grown adult. That's another thing people seem to forget: Ellie is not the same person that she was in the first game. She's not 14 anymore, she's come into her adult self (probably influenced by Joel as the father figure later in her life) and therefore her actions portray as such.

    The game, if played with the right mindset, makes the reader question every moral they have by playing as both Abby and Ellie. Playing as Ellie, Abby in the beginning is the antagonist but as you come to the end of Ellie's time in Seattle, you start to see her almost as the villain. Playing as Abby, the killer of much loved Joel, you start to understand why everything panned out in the way that it did and in turn see her side of things and begin to see Ellie and Joel as the antagonists of her story. The game highlights loss and the cycles of revenge that are seemingly never-ending--it also makes you question every belief you have about the original characters.

    I think to be honest, people who dislike this game only dislike it because Joel died and that doesn't come across well after he was the protagonist of the first game. I think they find things to hate about the game, such as the fact that both protagonists are female, or that Ellie is a lesbian, or that Abby doesn't appear like the societal beauty standard of a woman or even that Joel dies and base their opinion of the whole game on small things like this.
    When in fact, if you zoom out so to speak, and look at the entire picture, you can probably see that the game has one of the most intense and beautiful stories of all time in my opinion. It's an emotional rollercoaster, but worth it.

    The game deserves better ratings, I thought it was phenomenal.    … Expand

The game overall provides a good storyline and what the characters had to say or do are great overall, the gameplay is great with fantastic graphics and the world in the game looks fabulous especially if you will have a 4k TV with ps5. Would definitely recommend only if you have completed the first last of us because you would get a sense of who the characters are and what they feel throughout the second part of the game. The one star its missing is the ending as I didn't really find it exciting and would go more deeper into where and when the other characters went but that could be a whole another storyline… Expand

    Naughty Dog obviously wanted to make a darker sequel that makes you think. Never have a been so motivated to do something in a game before and yes the writers did do Joel wrong, Joel was a selfish piece o **** sure, but in the world of the Last of us, you probs would be too. There's some problems to the game such as a couple story shortcomings but that's it. This game is graphically the best looking game I have seen to date, there's no denying that. Gameplay is improved from the last game in every possible way and if you think it's too simple or easy, turn the difficulty up!! I promise the higher difficulties in this game will have your heart pumping and will have you holding your breath in almost any encounter to hope that the enemy won't hear you. IMMERSIVE. The original score/soundtrack in this game is intense, heart-pumping, anxiety-inducing greatness. Some characters die yes, this is a horrid extremely violent post-apocalyptic world where literally all humanity has left the mf chat my guy. The detail put into this game is jaw-dropping, you blow somebody's head off with a magnum, them ****s looks like you blew somebody's head off with a mf magnum bruh. Realistic, gory, DARK, emotional, and thought-provoking. If the darkness in this game is too scary for you, then you probably wouldn't last very long in the world of The Last of Us, along with that one Asian chick playing the ps vita that you stab in the throat.    … Expand

The audience can easily follow the character driven story. A story that attaches the player to Joel and Ellie; to such an extent that even a casual player cares about them. As the next game sets up, the player is shown the huge rift between Joel and Ellie; Due to Ellie learning about what actually happened in the hospital. Ellie alienates Joel for what he did, the bond is still there but it is barely holding- Upon Joel’s death the player shares ;Ellie’s Pain, Sorrow, Rage, and want to inflict your mutual Vengeance. You feel that initial satisfaction and vindication as you hunt down Abby. It is not until you’re forced to play as Abby, do you see the wake of your desperation-
    At the beginning of Abbys journey you truly hate her. You want her and her friends to fail. But you’re forced to see who these people actually are anyway. It’s trying to tell you that doing things out of hate will not make you happy-
    We find Ellie living with her love interest on a beautiful ranch in Montana; and it feels like Ellie has made her peace. Except instead of Ellie moving on, she is struggling with PTSD. The only solution she sees is taking Abbys Life as she took Joel’s-
    The finale brings you within breaths of your revenge; and right before its finally over. Ellie lets go of her hate & animosity towards Abby, realizing Joel is a bright light in her life and Abby can never take that away from her- The player feels robbed because of this, even if you did not want Abby to die anymore. Its an equivalent feeling to holding in a long stayed sneeze. Naughty Dog shot for the moon with this sequel, and it looks and plays INCREDIBLY. -The fact Ellie hates Joel because he saved her from the fireflies blows my mind. He never tells her that they drug her, or beat him senseless. Or that no vaccine for fungal human infection has EVER been made; let alone in an apocalyptic scenario. -The attention to detail here is second to none, compared to the games coming out now. - a large part of the first game was showing the player just how HARD it is to traverse this world. Yet here we’re jumping hundreds of miles in seconds. -Playing as the villain for half the game is a unique concept that the average consumer has never seen. They were very close to something great here, but that does not make it bad. Which is why I gave it a 7 out of 10. It’s an above average game; and in comparison to the games that have been released since then it’s a knockout.
    If you can get this game below 60 dollars it’s a steal. You get a lot of game for your money here. And I want to make this perfectly clear if you hate this game because you can’t handle a lesbian main character or that Abby is “implied” to be trans then please spare the rest of us by not writing another review.    … Expand

Kritiker*innen, die bemängeln, dass die Story zu feministisch sei oder dass sie Abby spielen müssen, sollten vielleicht ihr eigenes Weltbild hinterfragen respektive akzeptieren, dass es eben gerade ein großer Vorteil des Mediums Videospiel ist, dass die Spieler*innen in unliebsame Rollen gezwungen werden, um Aspekte des narrativen Perspektivwechsels zu bedienen.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
