    The first few hours are amazing then once you get to the city it all just goes down hill quick. And I wanted to love this game so much, 7 years of waiting and they let you down. Not even a dlc could fix there mistakes.

    When you shoehorn in themes nobody wants, it sours the whole game. Yeah, mechanics were good enough, it looked great, no real game breaking bugs, but its not relatable, and forces in a topic that has no value other than to appease the target group. I can't say I enjoyed it, sorry.

    The graphics, visuals and gameplay are great. i really enjoyed the flashbacks, the bonding with Ellie and Joel made me happy. The story on the other hand I didn't enjoy at all. I'm sad to see the story to play out in this game.

    I believe Good gameplay does not save a terribly written story IN a story driven game, this game is beyond a joke and filled with SJW Propaganda, do whatever you have to do naughty dog, Fire Neil druckman, we want good games released from the team again.

I think Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann made this game in this way to provoke people to argue over video games and to make even more money, I honestly believe this man made the first one with all his heart and soul, hoping to create a masterpiece, and that he did. But when he saw that he could make a **** ton of money by making a divisive game he could make people talk about it and sell more copies. In the spirit of this game lies literal lies, deceit and dishonesty. We were given trailers with Ellie and Joel, replaced with the asian guy, I cant even remember people's names from this game, that's how bad this game was. I'll even go as far as to say that this game was unforgettable but forgettable in a way, the story is trash with some trash plot twists and shock value. Joel literally dies in the first hour. Making Abby the worst villian of any video game ever. Later on a mexican guy spits on his caved in skull disrespecting him all that jazz. I wanna go on a rant about this game after 2 months but find it unnessecary to do so. This game checked off many of the current SJW check-boxes also, gay female main character, check, a strong independent woman as a villain, check, a PREGNANT woman going into battle with literal psychopaths, check, man weak women strong, check. I bought this game thinking I'd be playing this **** over and over like the first one but, was immediately disappointed when the credits rolled. And the ending, ohhh that **** was SOO DUMB. Imagine going on a killing spree, killing everybody even remotely close to Abby, and in the end not killing Abby because "dig two graves if you want revenge and revenge bad" clichés. It was the most aggrevating ending to a video game ever. They better not make TLOU3 or they'll go bankrupt. This was their shot, ND took it, missed it. Bury this game with the other "woke" games. $60 down the drain. Trash. Go play the first one it's literally the same game as this one but with better story.… Expand

    I cant even begin to describe what a let down this was as a sequel. Good graphics will only get you so far, that is why amazing games like Star wars KOTOR have aged well in terms of a overall game well this one will be forgotten. I don't know what's worst the fact that we have to play as Abby even after she kills Joel or the fact that we don't get the satisfaction of her dying in the end. I get the message that was supposed to cross but everyone's hate and just not giving a **** about her character made it all so much worse that she didn't die. As well lets just completely forget that this world is full of lore that was thrown down the trash. People who communicate by sound is pathetic and lazy considering one of the monsters uses sound waves considering clickers.    … Expand

The game quickly follows the journey of Ellie, and also Abby as you quickly find Joel is removed from the game in the most distasteful way possible and feels like a stab to the stomach for most fans. As you continue the journey the game becomes more and more female orientated and and instead of focusing the Ellies anger over joels death, it turns into a lesbian love story. It has lost the essence of what the first game had and slowly becomes more and more unsatisfying to play. The last of us ISN'T the Last Of Us without both Joel And Ellie.. LOU2 has made me push naughty dog out of the love box and into the trash. I will not be buying anything naughty dog again. Thank you Halley and Niell for destroying what the last of us meant to us and disrespectfully rubbing it in our faces, you should be ashamed of yourselves.. And I'm so ashamed of SONY for not stepping in and putting a stop to this badly written political identity **** show.… Expand

After almost six years of waiting and waiting for a stronger or a similar game to its predecessor, we got The Last of Us Part 2, which is pretty fragile and weak compared to Part 1.
    The first installment of the game was really entertaining and the story was solid and intriguing. The characters were strongly built and they made the players connected to them emotionally. On the contrary, This game story is solely built on the average revenge storyline. The characters are weakly built on feminism and sex. For that every moment they make a sexual reference.There is a pretty clear propaganda for the far leftists, LGBT and feminists , which can be sensed throughout the gameplay.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game itself from visuals, sound all the way to voice acting was perfect. It looks beautiful and the atmosphere is beautiful. But the story the main point in getting this game, is horrible.

    Joels death was rushed and pretty bad. The circumstances with the horde and the blizzard was a nice excuse to make him follow Abby into his death. But considering how smart they both were in the last game, that made no sense. They know they are wanted atleast Joel should know. He would never say his name like that. The way he died was also humilating, ganged ab by 10 People, after beeing immobilzed and then yea, golf.

    The next thing about the plot that is terrible: the way it evolves. Not only are you forced on playing abby and dismantle Ellie and Dina, but she also kills Jesse the way he got introdruced by opening a door within miliseconds.

    After that Tommy is heavely wounded and cant proceed on his path of revenge, which is fine, even tho Yara beeing right there at that time made no sense, same for Manny and Abby not beeing able to open the door, but after manny gets shot in the head she just jumps through it, like a saloon door.

    So far: Abby killed Joel, wounded Tommy, who cant even walk proplery anymore because his leg got shot with an arrow, dismanteld ellie whose spirit got crushed anyways after she killed her friends. I like that part tho, she is human and somehow regrets what she is doing.

    Tommy not beeing able to pursue her was tragic, but him beeing so out of character is just terrible. I can see the way Neil portrayed him here, Guy lost his brother, divorced his wife, lost an eye and cant walk amymore. But the way he took it out on ellie felt wrong there.

    Fast forwarding to the end..

    So you're there you dont get an option to kill her, youre just forced to let her go after you feed your fingers to her, which I will get to in a second, is probably the most unsatisfying thing you can do, it would be nice if you could atleast choose to let her go if you really wanted to: But this is just bad writing. The symbolic messages after the fight when she returns to the farm when she noticed that her pursue of revenge costed her fingers, the only thing that could still remind her at joel with the song she could play was pretty heavy to take in, and I kinda like the idea that neil had in mind, but then again... Abby got away, everything was kind off pointless. Not only did Neil spit on joels legacy but you also destroyed Ellies character. She was already broken after Joels death, everything she did and over losing Dina. But her forcing to leave the guitar there and loosing all she had just demolished what was builded with TLOU and Left Behind.

    In conclusion: Revenge didnt work, except for abby she got what she wanted, she lives, with lev and goes to the fireflies. Ellie just leaves the farm, with an open future. She wont get to remind herself anymore at joel.

    My recommendation to all of you, who are disapointed: Pretend this game never happend and keep TLOU legacy with honor and dignity in your memories.

The handling of Joel and Ellie in this was a true betrayal to me as a fan of the first game and trying to make us sympathize with Joel's killer... really idiotic and the people who collectively thought this was a good idea need to be fired.The inclusion of multiplayer definitely could've saved this from being a steaming hot pile of **** but til then, Last of Us Part 2... The game took everything that made me happy in this game (even my initial hatred for Abby, let's face it, it's fun to hate) and gave me nothing in return.     Also, virtually no one is upset about the game having LGBT characters. If anything, it's the virtue signaling of those characters and the unnatural use of them to (arguably) disingenuously push an agenda on the public. Please stop that narrative as it is false.     Joel gets his head bashed in with golf club in the first hour. That's like killing off Jennifer anistons Rachel in friends season 2 and then replace her with her killer. Like you just don't do that. Graphics are great. Story is terrible and depressing.

    You wish to have at least a couple of good scenes(Fights too) with joel but no he is just gone right away. Mindfck Number 1! You start the game by petting a dog and then you have to cut the dogs guts to get past a section at first quarter (yes you can still go stealth and not kill them but come on, no one can do that at first playing). Your horse (shimmer) just f* explodes. Mindfck Number 2!

    Imagine getting over these things in couple of scenes. Just as you are focusing again and halfway trough you are doing good. Suddenly you are playing as the villain characther (Not to mention seeing her flashbacks without knowing her makes it reaaly hard to understand how she got to joel at first place.) Before you get time to just understand the situation comes 2 random kids. Abby doesnt kill them and helps them thats ok( which i think the forest part and the whole med search part was just time filler and totally unnecesary). But why would you then start to fight with both sides??? (With both scars and wolwes, in scar village scenes stealth was optional but she kills them rather then like, knock them out)

    And after all that you come face to face with ellie in a COMBAT, like wtf is happening. After the fight Abby just lets ellie live, hmmm. Fast forwarding they live in a farmhouse with her girlfriend-baby (btw that baby can talk????!?!?) and ellie has no idea about abbys past and her dad. And still wants revenge on her. Just to not kill her but to save her ...    … Expand

    Loved the first, but this sequel contradicts almost every good aspect the prequel had. It's a game meant to be played for the story, clearly. Yet it does not help when the story turns out to be absolute drivel.

I find it just as hypocritical as the game's ending, for people to say: "The user score is made up of people who haven't even played the game". However, have nothing to say about the 95 Metascore of critics who only played the first 12 hours. They haven't really played as Abby, and have not even gotten to review the end. (Also, it is possible for them to have been influenced by Sony or ND).

    Anyways, remember, most people are not disappointed of the fact that Joel dies, more so than how he dies and then having to play as that character that kills him, with NO character development whatsoever! Had an expansion come out where we played as Abby, or had the first 12 hours you play as Abby and THEN she kills Joel, maybe (and that's a far stretch). What Joel did was bad, I get that. But are we going to sit here and justify everything Abby does?

    Also, for those who are saying that the only reason for someone to dislike this game is because they are NOT open-minded to LGBT+, I invite you to search The Last of Us: Left Behind on Metacritic. Go ahead, and check the user score. This DLC is actually where we find out that Ellie is queer. The grand majority of gamers enjoyed this DLC. No one has a problem with gay main characters. Stop that self-pity excuse to be exonerated from weak characters writing. Every good storyteller know "The Hero's Journey". This game is too pretentious to even acknowledge a hero exists.

    I don't need to play a game, to review everything that has been spoiled and revealed. I have played MANY outstanding games that were spoiled for me, and still enjoyed them. Why? Because they followed the most basic sketch to a good story: characters, trials and tribulations, mentors, "the bad-guy", a quest, and a resolution. It is clear for anyone who has read the reviews: Ellie let's Abby go. So she murders dozens upon dozens of people, and then has a realization that murder won't solve anything.

    TRUE, but if you are thinking with this logic, then neither will you (the only presumed person alive to be immune to this fungus), walking away in sadness. In this case, and I know this will be controversial, have Ellie come to terms with what she must do, and give herself up, so that she can finish what they started in the first game. It will be a controversial ending, however, it will make chicken salad out of the chicken crap you gave us there at the end.

    Feel free to buy and play the game if you desire. But remember this is a $60+ USD game that might not be accepted for refund or trade-in. And a lot of the people telling you to buy the game and play for yourself know this. It's marketing.

    Anyways, those are my two cents. Which is about the only thing I would pay for this game.    … Expand

    As a huge fan of the first, not just for the gameplay but mostly the amazing story. This was a terrible let down in terms of story. Graphically the game is great, gameplay is mostly the same with some improvements but my main selling point of the game was story and it failed to deliver on that part.

    The game is needles, it punishes exploring and let’s you have no thinking power. Everything is found on Pieces of paper In arms reach of where it is needed. The game is one giant fetch quest with obvious plot walls that give no choice. It is good graphically but with the budget you would expect that. Honestly Save your money.

    The game graphics and mecanics are incredible but the story is so, so bad; there were a lot of other things to explore but they did this **** story about revenge where Ellie kills half of the post-apocaliptic US population and then forgives Abby, a character that came from nowhere and that only found joel because of luck.

The writing is a major step down from the last game, and the story it does try to tell is bare, and utterly cliched. "Revenge is bad", yeah you don't say. But the thing is, Abby couldn't show sympathy, why should Ellie? Abby is painted as a bad character from the start, AND SHE IS! She never actually redeems herself. And don't even get me started on the major step down already well-written characters received. Joel suddenly lost all of his years of experience as a survivor, AND THAT GOT HIM KILLED! This is my first time reviewing a game here, and I'm going to be fair. I'll split the game into two categories: Story / Narrative, and gameplay. Graphics are nice but don't make the game any more enjoyable so I won't add that to the review. Story: 0/5 - Gameplay: 4/5. In total, this game comes out at a total disappointing score of 4/10. They also make Lev a large subplot, even though what she was going through has NOTHING to do with the world of last of us. I have no problem for lgbt rep, if anything, Bill in the first Last of Us was great, same for the DLC, but this time, shoving it in our faces isn't the way. Along with a ****ty ending, first, Abby kills Joel in front of Ellie, Kills Jesse, almost kills Tommy, breaks her arm, beats Dina's face in almost cutting her throat, and bites two of her fingers off, just to have a small memory of Joel, and letting her go. For a sequel that was 1000000 percent anticipated, it delivered a large disappointment. I enjoyed the flashbacks with Joel, but they always ended up in showing what he did, that justifies his death. We all knew he was gonna die but like this? It's just bad. If you like the new Star Wars trilogy and the last two seasons for Game of Thrones, buy this game. If you love the characters from the first game, a good plot, and hope that no social politics will be shoved in your face, DON'T buy this game.… Expand

    Playstation needs to offer refunds for this game, this is hands down one of the worst AAA games I have bought. Not only is the gameplay and mechanics crap, but in the first hour almost every character that we fell in love with and appreciated from TLOU1 got ruined. The story writing is bland and about as 2020 as it gets also.

Well, it sure felt like it after this game. Let’s get the obvious out of the way: Graphics were probably the best the PS4 has ever seen and will ever see. Nobody’s going to dispute that. But The Last of Us wasn’t about its stellar graphics when it came out in 2013. The game itself was tied together by the two characters of Joel and Ellie. Not only did those two make the game what it is today, the story itself couldn’t function properly if it WASN’T Joel and Ellie. And that’s the biggest problem with its sequel. The devs made it evidently clear they didn’t view Joel with the same amount of importance as we the fans did. And in little over two hours of gameplay, Joel and Tommy, two of the main character of our beloved first game, two of the most untrusting and hard-headed characters, casual walk into a stranger’s base, and give up their real names and where they LIVE without thinking, KNOWING that Joel is being hunted down, and that’s how he dies. Remember how Joel couldn’t come to trust Henry and Sam, and if Sam wasn’t there, he admits he would’ve KILLED Henry? That’s the type of character Joel is. Whoever Joel is in Part II, that’s not him, and the devs proved it to us they had no care with creating this game and making it about its characters. The best new character we meet, Jesse, gets killed off like he was nothing, and we’re supposed to find a way to sympathize with Abby? They expect us to WANT to play as Abby for over ten HOURS of the game? Yeah, no thanks. But, we have no choice. The game itself demonizes Joel and Ellie to the point where it literally asks you: “What, he didn’t deserve grrring his skull caved in with a golf club?” As well as trying to send they main message they revenge and violence is bad. The entire story felt lazy and uninspired, and had more cringe-worthy sex scenes and unnecessary attempts at decent character development with characters we don’t know nor care about then it did moments that felt like a game about characters that I enjoy. The best moments of this game came in flashbacks that took place right AFTER the events of the first game. Ah, what could’ve been, am I right? The actions all these characters make make little to no sense with who they were compared to the first game, and at the end, when Ellie lets Abby leave on the boat with Lev, after everyone she’s killed, after leaving Dina, and losing Jesse, Joel, and almost Tommy, she doesn’t even carry out her promise to Tommy of avenging Joel, and we, the player, are suppose feel satisfied?

    Gameplay and graphics are great, nobody is saying otherwise. Though there’s so much walking and taking and long, boring moments within this unsatisfying fan fiction of a story that takes an absolute **** on what the original game had created. They didn’t further explore the actual world of The Last of Us, they didn’t continue on with Ellie’s importance of being immune, or even discuss the idea of a vaccine. In the end, it was a worthless game, made for money and money only, and to have our beloved characters lose everything, with no choice or input from the player. A literal interactive movie, that forces us to watch out characters be anything but themselves for twenty-five hours. For a story driven game, this one didn’t hit home. Far from home, really. A disappointment to the fans who waited seven years to see what Naughty Dog could create. And after all the false-flagging and taking down of YouTube channels, videos, and Twitter pages? This is what Naughty Dog deserves. I’m sorry Ellie, but everything you’ve been through, it reall was all for nothing. Save your time, and tor money. 1/5 — 2/10.    … Expand

Just for it to get ruined and to make me want to forget about this game and look for something else to be excited for. (And by the way, I thought the leaks wouldn't be as bad as they were and I was one of those people who got mad whenever someone said the game was bad, and defended it. So this just gives you perspective about how much I cared for this game.) I don't even know where to start. The only good thing about this game is the graphics, the graphics look AMAZING and ran really well on my PS4, which I thought would melt playing this. Now the bad stuff, and oh boy it's a lot. First of all, the overall "revenge" plot is just garbage. By the time I was finished with Nora I wanted to leave Seattle because I thought that is enough. You brutally killed enough WLF and Seraphites to make your message clear that you wanted revenge and did. Secondly, the characters in this game are flawed and your hopes to see development with them is just spat in your face. You can't just kill off characters just like that to try and be "bold". No, people are going to hate that and they do. It shows with these reviews and mine. For example, and perhaps the worst death I've ever seen in a video game, Joel. Naughty Dog thought it would be bold to kill one of the most beloved characters in the whole series too push the revenge narrative. And I should add that Ellie treats Joel like garbage in this game, (except for the flashback of the Museum.) And all Joel does it try to treat her with the upmost respect and Ellie is just a jerk to him. The whole thing where characters die out of nowhere is just a disappointing way to kill people. At least let them have their moment like Henry and Sam in the first game. That was a how you character off, it was heartbreaking and really made you think for awhile after it. With Joel it somewhat made me not sad but angry at how they treated him like garbage. Another example is jesse, I thought he was a okay character but a little mellow and not much personality, but an alright side character. Then for Abby just to kill him like that, all of that development for nothing, he is barely even mentioned for the rest of the game. And oh boy, the part I HATED the most about this game was how you had to play as Abby. NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY AS THE PERSON WHO TORTURED AND KILLED JOEL. And to extend it for 10+ hours?!? I mean come on, everyone I have seen play the game hated the part with Abby. For me, I was bored and hated her so much. The whole time you play as her you know what's going to happen so it's boring and seems like there's no point to even playing as her. The flashback of Abby with her dad and the Firefly hospital is what only should have made it to the game because it gives us the reason Abby wanted to kill Joel. The part where you meet Yara and Lev is just boring, they have no development whatsoever and are static characters. Getting the medical supplies for Yara at the hospital and the boss fight didn't even matter because she gets sprayed with bullets by WLF soldiers. (Another example of trying to be bold and killing people.) Neil Druckmann tried to have a bold and new approach to a game, and it didn't work. I now understand why the game is divisive. My heart hurts just writing this because I waited so long just for it to be ruined. I was looking forward to this for years. I remember how excited I was to learn that I was going to play in Seattle because I live in Washington. The part where I got to Seattle I was just bored. All you do in Seattle is just kill WLF and Seraphites. Lastly, the ending. Oh man this was just horribly executed. You leave your family and basically your kid to go find and kill Abby, but then just to not kill her? Like... what?!? Why? What is even the point of having this in the game? It doesn't make sense. When you come back to the farm after sadly sparing Abby, Dina and her kid is gone. You did all that and lost 2 fingers to lose the only thing you had left. God this game just broke me in a bad way. I know this is bold, but I want there to be a Part 3. And not to just continue the story, but to do this game justice. But the way the reviews are going I highly doubt this will happen. Where the game falters is in its story telling, pacing and the overall direction of its character development. There is not one like able character to be had in this story. Everyone even the main character of Ellie is portrayed as being wholly monsters and for some of the previous characters who were established and beloved in part one they make choices that are counter to everything we know them to be. Many choices taken by them serve to only push the next plot point forward regardless if its something they actually would have done which is a huge no-no when it comes to writing well thought out character development. Quite Frankly the handling of the legacy characters of this franchise leaves much to be desired and thats my main take away. The last of Us 2 leaves a lasting feeling of leaving to much to be desired, things you felt never should have happened to or with the majority of its cast. Where as the first game had little rays of hope and light in this game there exist none. Its one bleak depressing slog from start to finish. Playing as the games new co protagonist Abby was one of my personal worst experiences in gaming after some of the egregious acts she partakes in. The continued forcing to switch to her really hurt my overall gaming experience. I simply did not like this character for her actions and there was nothing that could make me like her after what she does. She came across as the games clear cut villain and it was never going to go over well with the majority of gamers to be forced to play with her in this game. She will go down as one of the most polarizing hated characters in gaming history. Overall The Last of Us 2 outstanding presentation, accessibility, and character design can not make up for such a poorly executed story. I wanted to love this game as much as I did the first but I just generally had one of the worst game experiences of my gaming lifetime.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have spent 5 days trying to post my review but metacritic has been blocking it.

    I hate giving this game a bad review I hate it so much cause the first game is one of my favorite if not my most favorite game of all time.

    The game looks wonderful, the gameplay isnt much different other than a few small things added like a new jumping mechanic and some stuff you can do with a rope, the voice acting is still astounding as is any cinematic game put out by Naughty Dog. There are some new enemy types and instead of fireflies and cannibals you have WLF (wolves) and cultist. So the the only real thing that has been improved on is the graphics.

    Now the story and the characters...that's a complete other matter, and I will say first of Joel dies am I happy about it, no. Did I expect it, yes. The main issue I have with is the way the story is presented to you makes absolutely no sense, and characters that are one note and easily forgettable. The daughter, Abby, of the doctor in the first game goes after joel which waaaaay across the country so it like looking for a very specific needle in a Grand Canyon full of needles, but she finds him actually he falls into her lap saving her life. Then after that Joel and Tommy throw complete caution to the wind and tell them their names and where they are staying, which is completely out of character for both of them to just trust people that they have met. If you are going to kill off Joel at least have it make sense. After a short romp with Ellie as she goes throw the list of people that were there taking them out, you switch over to Abby, and play with her and what she was doing during this time that Ellie was killing her friends. The thing is though at this point in the game you have so much hate for Abby that this pointless bit trying to get you to sympathize with her just doesnt work. By the point I literally dont care and only want her dead. I dont care about her, her friends or the dogs at all. But they make you play as her, beat the hell out of Ellie, bite her fingers off and damn near kill Ellie's girlfriend. They try even more to get you to sympathize with her by making her take on kind of a "Joel" role when she is taking care of this kid turning against her own people doing so, but I just couldnt care less about her or her struggles. And by the end she and the kid are left for dead hanging from poles, but Ellie finds them, cuts them down and proceeds to have one last fight with Abby in which she wins but right before she is about to deal the killing blow she stops........becaaaaause reasons? So the cycle will stop? Whatever. I wanted this game solely for the story, not the graphics not the gameplay, the voice acting helps but wasnt the most important. The story! And when you deliver one that is completely nonsensical as this, someone dropped the ball somewhere Dr. Uckmann. I just cant recommend this game to anyone who fell in love with story and the characters of the original.

    Recuerdo esos días cuando decíamos que los gráficos no eran tan importantes como la historia ya que no necesitabas mostrar foto realismo para cautivar al jugador, una historia bien contada era suficiente para llevar ese videojuego en el corazón durante años.

    Cuando salió The Last Of Us quede maravillado con su historia, jugabilidad, gráficos y razonamiento, por que razonamiento? por el simple hecho de que todo lo que pasaba tenia un porque, era una historia que en su tiempo y a día de hoy es considerada una de las mejores que se han hecho para un juego.

    The Last Of Us Part II no es mas que un reflejo de que las productoras están dejando de hacer videojuegos con cariño hacia sus fans.
    No me quejo de que el LGBT este presente en el videojuego, ya que no importa la orientación sexual de un personaje a la hora de contar una historia, puede ser Gay, Hetero, Bi, Trans, Alien si tu quieres pero cuéntame su historia con sentido, que es de lo que carece esta secuela, el sentido.
    The Last Of Us Part II es un juego gráficamente sorprendente que puede llegar a atraer a nuevos jugadores de esta saga, pero ni sus gráficos o jugabilidad lograran ocultar el desastre que es su historia, algo que los verdaderos fans que amamos la primera entrega y estábamos esperando una obra maestra nunca antes vista, nos decepciono enormemente las malas decisiones de guion.

    I am convincing myself that there is no such thing called TLOU Part 2, it is only The Last Of Us and will always be.
    Part 1 really meant a lot to me, it included too many messages, feelings and brilliant thoughts that I think effected me in person. Showing the warm relationship between the two main protagonists that    If you are a real fan of the game, I won't recommend you playing part 2.

    Unlike Part 2 that lacks a lot of feelings and only focuses on one main thing that is revenge, and that doesn't attract me at all cause I am not even attracted to the new characters that they've projected in the game. They are forcing the player to interact with the new characters that I personally feel no sympathy for them nor for their stories.

    I was against the idea of making a sequel out of the game from the beginning, because I knew that TLOU is just so great and is just a pure masterpiece that I think no game can ever be compared to it.
    I am really disappointed.

They let feminists write the story, they made Ellie ugly as a man, romanticized drugs, lesbian sex and political agendas, totally unnecessary in a game. You dug the very pit of The Las of Us, I was a fan of the franchise, I'm not anymore. Worst game of the year !!!… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
