    What a mess this game turned out to be. Where to begin...

    - There is no proper arcade mode. Instead, there is a crippled introductory "story" mode and a proper single player story mode that's way too long and repetitive (Karin over, and over, and over again) ... if you like Mortal Kombat styled single player mode where it just seems to go on forever - it's in there.     - There is no proper arcade mode. If you however expect a normal arcade mode where it gives you a bunch of random characters to fight and a rival or boss end battle, you can forget about it.
    - The netcode is inferior to SF4's netcode. That should be saying something. I know "experts" will say GGPO is superior, but it's not. It's dog **** compared to SF4's netcode. Rollback is the dumbest mechanic ever. Skipping frames altogether so it skips like a bad COD game is equally annoying. It's supposed to freeze like it did in SF4. That way you know exactly what's going on and if the connection's ass - it's ass. And that's fine. We know the internet isn't a perfect medium to play games on. Bad netcode breaks otherwise good games.
    - The waiting. The endless waiting. Waiting. Waiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiiing. Do I annoy you yet? Waiiiiiiiiiiiiitiiiiiiiiiiing. That nuisance you're feeling right now is the nuisance you will feel while playing this game online. Between finding an opponent (which in and of itself can take minutes!!) and being able to control your character in Round 1 takes around a minute if not longer. That is clearly unacceptable. It is also not a loading problem as you can test this by playing Survival Mode and checking how long it takes to change background places every 5 matches. Online, they put ARTIFICIAL delay in. So it is DELIBERATE. They DELIBERATELY make you wait. Every. single. time. Not frame delay, but seconds of delay for fluff. For nothing. For a f-cking globe that's spinning, here comes a new challenger, fade to white. This is the main reason I hate this game. The only way I can manage to not lose my mind while playing it is do other stuff on a laptop and casually listen to hurt sounds because I'm getting my ass handed to me after eons of "loading" time. This is a fighting game. Action. It's supposed to be fast at everything. Not some MGS snoozefest where you have to wait and wait some more for nothing. It's like Capcom forgot what genre this is and what the audience expects.
    - When playing ranked, you can't select a character prior to the match. Instead, you have to select the character you want to stick with with SEVERAL buttons and MENUS before it's changed. This blew my mind. The whole menu system is f-cked. I have no nicer word for it. They actively choose to make things as obscure is possible where you're looking for the right game mode, settings, preferences etc. This isn't a "git gud" scenario. Menus shouldn't be a chore to learn as if it's some grind to excellence. Discerning people may pose the argument that selecting a character each time prior to the actual match slows the process down and they may point to the previous point I made, and technically they would be right. However, the way SF4 dealt with this is still much faster in seconds to gameplay than this monstrosity. I have no problem with sacrificing up to 5 seconds selecting a character to play. I do have a problem with minutes of waiting for no reason whatsoever every single time. AVGN says it best with his catchphrase: What were they thinking?!
    - Communication: There is none. We're back to the Stone Age. You can't message people if you don't know their real nickname on PSN. For some retarded reason they thought it'd be a great idea to give us an alias. This means you can't trash talk, ask questions, add friends. It is impossible to add an opponent you met to your friends list. How backward is that! Honestly! The closest to this feature is adding a Favorite from within the game so you can see their recordings and shoot them invites if they're on, but it is a far cry from what it's supposed to be like. Let's reinvent the wheel, guys! **** (c) 2016 Capcom
    - This is a minor gripe I guess but it is a very real nuisance: whenever you're at the Results screen, the PS4 fan will go bonkers. It will rev up to probably 70% or even 100% until you hit X to return to menu. Now, read my lips: There is NO reason. NO. REASON. For it to rev up like
    that. It is a match result screen. It puts zero strain onto the console to keep that screen up. There is no animation, there is no loading, NOTHING. And yet the PS4 sounds like an F16 about to take off. This is an issue that's been around since the game's inception as far as I can tell.
    - After picking the low hanging fruit for easy Fight Money (do all the easy stuff to get in-game currency) it dries up and there's no quick way to get extra money besides grinding it out for hours to get a meager 1000 FM by levelling up a character. One character costs 100.000 FM, mind. So that's 200 hours to buy one character with FM. -character limit reached-    … Expand

    Gameplay itself is, without doubt, one of the best fighting game in the world. Most of characters are well-balance and distinct from each other.    Street Fighter V is a Great fighting game, even it lacked of content at release, now Capcom just added General Story mode as a free DLC, which is an 2 hours+ long animation style. This is the prove that they really want to improve the game.

    Gameplay itself is, without doubt, one of the best fighting game in the world. Most of characters are well-balance and distinct from each other.

    Multiplayer works very well. There is matchmaking system that will match you with same skilled fighters, so if you are not TOO casual, you should not have problem with online mode. I tried it and I loved it even though I am not that skilled I still have fun (Super Bronze at t his moment)

    Arcade mode is what still missing in game. It was the major reason I delayed myself from buying this game. However, after I tried training mode, I notice that you can choose difficulty of CPU (from 1-8) and also choose to fight normally (have both hp decease no regen). It is similar to arcade mode !! so you can keep fighting CPU all you want ( I don't know why they didn't add this CPU fighting in Versus Mode so that everyone can know that you can fight CPU in this game

    Graphic and Music are very good, no issue at all.

    Only thing I want improvement is the lacking of costume and stages. I want more costume for my lovely Cammy, (especially sexy ones hee hee)

    In sum, please do not pay attention to those negative reviews. If you like fighting games, get this game ASAP and see for yourself. If you like Street Fighter series, just buy it. If you like PVP games, purchase it, and remember "Precision is Key", said Cammy    … Expand

    yes there is new Updates that are "Improving" the game, but that doesn't mean it's still good! let's go with what's wrong with Street Fighter V!

    Street Fighter V isn´t the perfect game it could be. The fighting mechanics are truly amazing. But the lack of content on release was really a strange and kind of stupid move from capcom. This is indeed a unfinished game. But the gameplay itself is simply flawless and so much fun. This is a tough one. Once Street Fighter V is "finished" it could be the best fighting game out there.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disclaimer: I am not reviewing the Online elements, as these will be different to different people, and SFV, like SFIV, has major pros and minor cons when it comes to the competitive aspect.

    Now that the game is finally complete, as it should have shipped back on release, I can honestly say that in comparison to its other game with a "movie-length" type story mode, the folk at Capcom are outright lazy, and they need some actual storywriters, because little snippets that, when put together, make up some idea of a "story," is NOT a story. It is certainly not worthy of being called "Cinematic Story."

    To explain it in as few words as possible, characters like Helen, Urien and Juri could have had more to do or say in the story. There are so many plot-holes and left-behind details, that after going through the "Free Cinematic Story" you are left wondering - and fearing - that Capcom is going to be releasing a "PAID Cinematic Story" later; which, I hope, will make players furious... but I doubt it.

    Other issues with the story mode - Necali, which so many were hoping to find out more on, is just an angry, brainless, fighting machine that goes around - T-1000 style (Terminator 2 liquid metal guy) - making angry sounds and fighting whoever, but only if they are weaker than him. So, in other words, the guy is bully/chump, useless and pointless, and there was literally ZERO reason for him to exist in the mode. If you take him out, nothing changes. I'm not kidding.

    Here's the point where you realize, by just noticing a character was basically stamped onto the story mode without purpose, that it happens with almost EVERY, OTHER, CHARACTER... even the main ones. you start feeling like, "Oh wait. They added two fights where you get to fight with Vega because they knew people would be pissed if you couldn't." But these fights make no sense. Vega obsesses over Cammy and Decapre at one point, then gives up and throws away his mask after losing. Wtf??? Vega NEVER throws away his mask. Is this Capcom saying, "This is our last game?"

    Rashid, the newcomer, has more play in the story than any of the other guys - except Nash - and even then you feel like... "Wait! What about his friend? We want to know more, damn it! Who is this stupid genie guy with him all the time? Is he a DLC character??" Then, when they could've killed Rashid, they chickened out. Honestly, I would've chickened out too if I knew how ridiculous the rest of the story is, because you can't kill off the only character who seems to have any significance in the story.

    As mentioned before, Helen, Urien and Juri get absolutely NO TIME or have any significance. You get to fight once with Urien, and I imagine this is to whet your appetite for a DLC later. Helen doesn't fight, but you get the feeling se probably can. And Juri is used once or twice, but she plays no significant role in the story, because Vega's obsession with Cammy and Decayer (which is what Juri sabotages), makes no sense at all in the scope of what is going on. On the other hand, F.A.N.G. is way too prevalent in the story, as is Bison. You get to see more of them than of any singular "hero" character. You also realize how OPed they are.

    I know it got a little longer than expected, but all in all, I give this game an 8 for its competitive aspect and its new ways of performing movesets that can now actually be countered if you learn how and work hard at it (unlike with SFIV), but I take away 3 points for how lazily done the story mode is. This is Capcom saying, "We know you only care about the online aspect. So here's a bunch of other stuff we put together. It's called... uh... Cinematic Story mode... and it's totally new, and errr..... awesome. Yep. Great. Stuffs. BUY our game! Woo!"    … Expand

    Un juego con un online deficiente, sin modo arcade y su salida sin modo historia marcaron un inicio bastante malo para este Street Fighter 5. Despues de 5 meses de su salida,lanzaron un DLC gratuito con el modo historia que es bastante malo,pudiendo omitir TODOS los combates.
    No voy a hablar de los DLC ya que son malos y caros.

    If your a pro fighting gamer then your probably playing it on the PC, but if you are a casual there is nothing here for you! Yes, they have added a story but in my opinion it wasn't worth the weight and it will keep you interested if you have never owned a TV or played a game with a compelling storyline.

    The fighting is great but it takes a lot of learning to get good at and start putting combos together that are fun and easy to do and personally I find it horrible to play on a PS4 controller so get a fighting pad (thats if your willing to spend that much money after Capcom has pulled such a classic cash grab). If you want to get better at the fighting you will have to play online and have a really good internet connection otherwise your goner hate the s*** out of this game because there is no arcade mode to learn as your favourite characters but there is a good training mode but lets be honest it gets boring beating the s*** out of the AI without it out stopping the game.

    Story is weak in all aspects so how does the game modes line up? Well they don't, cause there all getting patched in later when and if the developer wants to add them but at the moment there is nothing, unless you want to count that survival mode where you must fight 100 guys but if you lose once you better get ready for them thrilling 99 rounds of the same repeated opponents speaking of opponents lets get to the roster

    With games making such huge leaps in story telling and gameplay these days with loads amount of content meaning the 20% of every game you have ever played you would expect huge line of characters to fight as in this game or at least loads of modes since its such a high profile fighter game as street fighter? You would be wrong if you thought that, in fact you would be wrong even if you expected average. BUT DONT WORRY GUYS CAPCOM ARE PATCHING IN MORE CHARACTERS WITH FREE UPDATES... how often are these updates? Oh there once a month and how many do they add? Oh only one with any game modes? naaaaaah no worries didn't need them anyway

    In fact am going to leave it here otherwise am going to fly to japan with the game disc carve it into a shiv and held the devs at ransom with demands of making this game a free to play release and give everyone there money back! Capcom have **** up again and hopefully this company goes down under soon because its given birth to some of my favourite franchises such as Devil May Cry, Resident Evil and Dead Rising and now its killing them all and hopefully we will see them sell of these IP's to much better developers and publishers.    … Expand

    With this new update and new characters I'd say this game is shaping up nicely. I find myself playing this hours on end even though I keep getting wrecked. The new cinematic story mode was pretty fun and I hope to see more, as well as more characters and costumes.

Since it came out unfinished several months ago we were promised a well polished cinematic story mode in June and now that it's finally arrived a month late its awful.     The choice of characters is very limited at this point and if you must have this game i recommend that you understand that Capcom is playing the long game by slowly releasing characters one at a time in season passes so they make more money off the masses you are suckered into this game. So far of this first season I am only hype for Juri and Ibuki and who knows how much longer its going to take for Juri to drop. Every character has been released late so whenever it does happen i am expecting it to be a month later than that. I recommend waiting to buy this game when season 2 is announced and seeing if there is a special edition online version with all the season one dlc in the future.

    The one good this is the characters feel different when you play them but its Street Fighter. Their not going to feel radically different from one another. Also i've heard they fixed the netcode but i don't play too much online so I personally don't give a **** about that.

    There is no arcade mode. Instead there are small story modes where you just mash crouching jab like mike ross playing Balrog and you can win every match. To unlock costume colors who have to play survival mode which is akin to having your teeth pulled out.

    In short buy Ultra Street Fighter 4 or Third Strike until Capcom makes amends with this game. Also WHEN TEKKEN.    … Expand

    Does it mean that the game is bad? No, I think that the game is actually okay. The game-play is great, but I like the game-play of the Street Fighter IV better.

    They also include cross-platform that you can play against PC players which is a great thing.
    The DLC will come as patch updates instead that they will make "Super Street Fighter 5" and all that crap. The game also had "Z money". It's like Microtransaction like "Riot points" in League of Legends. Z money was supposed to make you buy Z money that you can buy the DLC characters, but they decided to remove it. Later they made a mode named "Challenge". It's like trials in Street Fighter IV

    - Game-play is great as ever
    - Graphics are great
    - Cross-platform with PC
    - DLC as updates (except the "Premium" costumes
    - Z money removed

    Cons:
    - Not finished
    - No Arcade mode
    - 16 Characters at release (22 with the upcoming patches)
    - Story at release is short AF
    - No mode that you can fight against AI (except Story and Training)
    - Overpriced at launch
    - Season pass is pointless

    To be honest I will give this game a 6/10 so far. I was thinking about 4/10 at launch, because of the lacking of content and the "Story" at launch. When the patches came it got improved and I began to like the game even more.

    The reviews for this game are overly negative. I bought this game day one, and to be honest it want that great, but after the first new character? This game is already picking up fast. There is now a story mode and four new characters. The online and local multiplayer is fun. Oh before you freak out about the lack of an arcade mode it's called SURVIVALS.

    Be smart stay away from this game, cause its not even finished. I know I know most games aren't finished these days but at least you can **** play the game. I mean there isn't even a ARCADE MODE. STREET FIGHTER GO POPULAR IN ARCADES!?!? Why are you ruining my childhood. Plz stay away from this game.

Yes Capcom released a barebones version of the game EARLY! So that fans of the game could get practicing get familiar with the characters as the content is being rolled out. I also understand game development realities, so I will not bash the game unfairly like others. In our age where games are more of an updating service (with patches and DLCs) than a final product, criticising a game before it's complete is pointless.

    First, is Street Fighter V a bad game as many people complain? Is it a Capcom fraud? No, it isn't. In fact, it's pure gold (not that it couldn't have been even better). Anyone scoring the game lowly is either a salty Xbox fan who was left out of the SF V party due to the Sony/Capcom exclusivity deal, or needs to fix his head.

    Secondly, could Street Fighter V have been more feature rich at launch? Yes, it could, but it wouldn't have made a lot of difference. SF V may have launched too early and incomplete (due to the players having to train before participating in tournaments), initially featuring only a versus mode and training mode, with no online mode and story mode and arcade mode and all, but it was a really GOOD game with the best gameplay I have ever experienced in a fighting game. Accessible, yet very deep. Anyway, most of the missing content was patched in quickly, and various server problems have been fixed, too. Only thing that's missing as of my review is the story mode. Well, even I (not being a fighting game pro) know that story mode is almost pointless in a fighting game. Anyone complaining about SF V missing the story mode and scoring it low, is like complaining a burger has no sesame in the bread. Who cares, really? And who will really miss it if it's not there at the moment?

    Thirdly, gameplay is King in Street Fighter V. I am not a guy who can perform a 20-hit combo, but I appreciate the accessible (for beginners) yet deep (for pros) gameplay. There are the standard punches/kicks, jumps, special moves like Hadouken, and Ultra moves. But the best parts are the V-Trigger and V-Reversal mechanics, each serving different purposes and even differing between each character. I personally don't play chargers like Bison and the newly added Guyle or grapplers like Zangief, rather playing ranged characters, but the roster is quite varied and it will keep expanding in the coming years via DLC. And for the first time, Capcom won't release Super Mega Ultra Editions of the same SF game, so you don't have to fear about being ripped off like in the past years.

    Overall, SF V is a very good game which doesn't deserve the hatred it has generated. It's simply one of the best fighting games available, and I don't think that will change for quite some time. Even at launch with most modes missing, the game had (and has) no in-game glitches, no frame rate drops, no nothing. And yet, other games releasing with severe technical issues are being reviewed differently to this little rough gem.    … Expand

    3. The casual and ranked matchmaking system is terrible. It only matches you up with similarly skilled players around 30% of the time.
    4. The online shop isn't currently functional.
    5. Training mode doesn't remember your preferences so you have to manually reenter them every time.
    6. The loading times are HORRENDOUS! To go from turning the game on to getting into an actual match (even assuming matchmaking works straight away) will take around 5 minutes.

    Comparing this to Street Fighter 4, everything is cleaner. There is greater visual input as character animation change whether the attack has hit or is blocked, allowing the player to get instant feedback to what they can do next. One frame combos are no longer a thing, which helps new players to execute top level combos but unfortunately means greater ease for international level players to perform bigger combos more consistently; not really leveling off the playing field. The models themselves look sharper but all the long hair clips through the bodies of character, something that still needs to be addressed.

    Should you buy this game? If it's just something to fill up your library, no. As a first fighting game however, it's the best entry in the series to start as there are more tools than ever to reach a god-like level of play, now more than before.    … Expand

    he fighting mechanic is amazing, it is accompanied with awesome looking visuals with stunning feedback of your actions, new V-Gauge system is quite a blast. For the the initial release the game has quite fundamental character roster, for all types of players. Yes, the game has a lack of usual for fighting games features like trials and proper story mode, but the game is competitive.

    There are two things which make me puke while watching this game, the voice acting is terrible and it doesn't fit the chars, the backgrounds have really animate objects but they aren't really interesting, I would of preferred seamless backgrounds which aren't so animate. Here's hoping KOF14 turns out better.

    Not much value here for a $60 game. This was a pretty bad way to release the new game in a beloved franchise like Street Fighter. If this game had been finished and offered more bang for the buck, the score would easily be around a 7. As is, it's just a cash grab.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is good the fighting mechanics are a lot better that in USFV, the games has a very interesting roster, every character feels unique and id fun to play if you manage to understand them.
    The story is just a prologue for the June expansion as it is right now is pretty boring.
    Survival mode is a good challenge, but may get frustrating some times, the worst part is survival mode is the only way to get some of the colors for the characters and you have to complete it in each mode to get colors for the costume your characters is using at that moment.
    Now the most interesting part the online:
    The online is working as it should the netcode is just fine and is rare to get a laggy match, of course that also depends of your area and ISP.
    Overall the game is good but it is still lacking content, If your planning to be competitive online the game is good to go now, on the other hand if you want more single player content it would be a good idea to wait for the June patch.    … Expand

El roster inicial es un poco corto tomando en cuenta el largo plantel que tiene la saga. El juego se hizo pensando en que nadie juega solo. Solamente mulpiplayer. Stop living in the past. When I was growing up in the 90's a new game was $50.00. That's pretty much equivalent to $80.00 in buying power in 2016. If Capcom needs to release some stuff for free later, and add some downloadable content that costs a little bit of money, I will forgive them. The important part is that the game play IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. Stop whining, stop giving unhonest "0" reviews, and enjoy this game.     Don't buy this joke of a game. Barely enough content to be considered a demo of the game. Maybe a sneak peak version... but not a complete $60 game. Buy when it gets to $10.

    SFV is the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be! Its make games like MKX, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd and Pokken look like Smash Bros AKA casual scrubs heaven.

    We don't need Arcade mode or other useless single player contents because AI are free to good players. People who need them are casual scrubs who can't get good.

    So that’s about it when talking about what the game doesn’t contain until future DLC. But what is in the game is just as unfinished as everything else. Even when playing this game with some friends in local versus mode, the game starts lagging after a couple of hours if you don’t select training stage. I mean, they had the same problem in SF4, I thought they would at least fix it (I’m still surprised they managed to screw it again and make the same mistake in two completely different game engines).

    Getting the unlockable colors for each character in survivor mode is just a dumb way to try to extend the lack of another single player mode. This could only get worse if they decide to charge for the colors as the only alternative.

    The online mode is inconsistent at best, getting a match with 4-5 bars can take from a couple of minutes to about half an hour. Even when restricting the connection bars to the best, some matches still fill like playing in PowerPoint, you don’t even see the attacks incoming, and they just appear in front of you. I got an error that when someone rage quitted on me, the game stopped tracking my points and I had to close it and open it again so that it would function how it is supposed to be.

    In my personal opinion, we don’t deserve this. This is just Capcom laughing at us for buying an incomplete product. The game was rushed, but it is not our fault, however, if we continue buying things like these, we’ll send the wrong message to developers.

    I know many people was looking for this game, don’t let the developer fool you, like it fooled me. Wait until it is finished, or if you really want it, wait for a price drop or buy it used. If they wanted us to beta test it as an early access, they should at least charge way less for this promise of a future game instead of the $60 that real games deserve.

    I know this game will be updated. But my score won't change. Its an average title. Get Mortal Kombat XL - its out now, complete, fun, polished, entertaining, lots of different characters, modes etc. My oppinion is that SF5 will never be better than MKX was at launch.
    And for fans of Street Fighters franchese - I really dont see so much improvement from SF4 (super ultra freekin turbo    I know this game will be updated. But my score won't change. It controls great, the game mechanics are awesome, and the netcode is 90 percent of the time awesome. For those who are looking for arcade modes and all that BS. I have read many things about revamping all the characters and to make the game more balanced, but this is not the case.     So yeah, the game has connection issues. They will get fixed sometime, so patience is a must. If you put that aside, it's a good game. Great character design, good controller response, cool effects, OK story told like a comic book, but not sure if it's the best option for tournaments. Maybe time (patches?) will tell.

    I overall disagree with the negative reception this game is getting. It could use a true story mode and overall more versus modes at launch, but considering how solid the game play is, and how consumer friendly the plan for dlc is, I honestly can't hold any of that against ono or capcom. I recommend it to any fighting game fan.

When playing Story or Survival I kept dropping to 5fps or so at KO's frequently. And the lack of a classic arcade mode makes this a hot mess.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the worst Street Fighter game of all time I went into this game with high hopes but was severely let down by Capcom's lack of effort, there's no Arcade Mode, Story Mode is garbage and can be completed in 15 minutes with all characters, there's no single player stuff on the game except for said Story mode, The AI in the story mode is so awful that they just stand around and let you hit them, only got 15 characters to choose from and half of them are not even that great and some main characters like Guile, Blanka and Sagat are absent from the game and Sagat's been in every Street fighter game since the 1st one hell he was the 1st main bad guy you ever faced in the series and for him to not be included in 5 is just blasphemy it's just like if Nintendo made a Super Mario game without Bowser Koopa (he's in every game not always as the main baddie though), to sum it up save your cash I made the mistake of buying the 120 dollar collectors edition and I traded the game in the next day after buying it, they should've called this game Street Fighter Online as there's no single player stuff to do… Expand

    Street Fighter always will, and always will be the premier fighting game franchise. The latest iteration of the franchise is a bit of a mixed bag, but ultimately enjoyable.

    Firstly, the roster and combat is very well balanced, with some players having an overhaul on their moves lists and combo possibilities, leading to a much more accessible, but deep system which eases new players in,    Street Fighter always will, and always will be the premier fighting game franchise. The latest iteration of the franchise is a bit of a mixed bag, but ultimately enjoyable.

    Firstly, the roster and combat is very well balanced, with some players having an overhaul on their moves lists and combo possibilities, leading to a much more accessible, but deep system which eases new players in, and offers advanced players great depth and plenty of advanced combo possibilities.

    The initial roster is pretty good, with classics such as Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li in there, with seminal boss characters like Bison and Vega. Some returning faces include Birdie and R.Mika, with some brand new characters such as Rashid and Laura - a good well rounded roster - albeit with some strange omissions (no Sagat or Akuma?)

    The combat itself feels much weightier than Street Fighter IV, with hits looking solid and the pace is quick, but not too frenetic. I did notice come hit detection issues, against larger characters (Zangief and Birdie) Where some heavy sweeps miss altogether, or tatsumakis failing to register.

    The only gripe I can find beyond the strange occasional hit detection issue, and reason I haven't rated it higher is something I'm sure has contributed to the poor ratings on here across the board - the overall lack of content. The bundled story mode is a selection of 3 or 4 single round fights, which can take less thank 10 minutes per character to finish, with simplistic AI which sucks any challenge out of it. The survival mode is a decent mode, with four difficulties which will provide some fun for the single player, but thats really all there is for you - with a training mode giving you some basic options to learn your moves before heading out into the online modes of the game.

    Overall, its the very best entry into the franchise, but the lack of content really is detrimental to its value. Luckily Capcom are going to be releasing a cinematic story and challenge mode with a free update in March - and hopefully the inclusion of the bizarrely omitted classic arcade mode will help the game with its longevity and mass appeal.    … Expand

    Single player non-existent.... No good tutorial for combo that can help casual to learn this game... Online matchmaking will make you fight people who is 2 to 3 league over your so there is no chance u can learn something if u can't event grow one punch. And many more.

Thus causing your character to teleport and have extra frames of speed on the screen...easy win! Also, if other player rage quits, you cant earn fight money, which means you cant earn the money to unlock future dlc characters in the future.     Game is full price ($60) yet lacks the content Street Fighter 4 did at it's launch, lacks a proper single player campaign, which is inexcusable. If they had to release it prematurely with limited content, they should have reduced the price to $40 and labeled it as a prologue. It's unfair for them to charge full price for an incomplete game.

    The only reason why i'm giving the game a 2 instead of a zero, is because the core fighting mechanics are great, and it has potential for the future. But I don't evaluate games on what they will be in the future, I evalute them on what they are now.    … Expand

    Un early access que no funciona. El "singleplayer" es nulo, pocos personajes, sin MODO ARCADE, sin historia (aunque venga en un par de meses). Centrado en el multijugador i es injugable, muy mal planteado. Una pena porque su jugabilidad y artísticamente pintaba bién.

    There’s a great game in Street Fighter V, but only if you’re willing to learn the hard way. Capcom will need more than the few thousand competitors following the Capcom Pro Tour to make this game, and the series as a whole, sustainable for the future.
