Nov 17, 2017Microtransactions, corporate greed, dishonest marketing, and loot boxes. There is only so much a customer can take until they can't take any more.
It's time to stop! where the **** are your parents? im gonna call child protective services! -
Nov 17, 2017A 60 buck game with microtransactions (that work as a gambling system through lootboxes, dont buy this one or the industry will get worse.
EA ruined this franchise =/ -

Nov 17, 2017Not even worth buying really. Buggy, too expensive for the transaction model, not worth till EA fixes, or makes it F2P. Campaign is not so fun, multiplayer is a joke unless you're rich.
-
Nov 17, 2017жадные EA поделом вам с вашими микротранзакциями!!!! Скаждым годом все хуже, наглее и жаднее!!!! Не покупать

Nov 17, 2017Don't fall for the EA pr bs. Do not buy this game. The microtransactions will be back very soon after all the idiots go out and buy it. Pay to win in a $60 game is despicable.
-
Nov 17, 2017Gambling and micro-transactions are only gone temporarily. They will return. And they will destroy the gaming industry.
DO NOT BUY THE GAME. PLEASE. WE NEED THIS TO FINANCIALLY HURT THEM. THIS HAS GONE ON FOR FAR TO LONG.
Cheers. -
Nov 17, 2017Pay to Win microtransactions ruined it for me. Plus their PR team swooped in with an empty apology and even said they would bring back the loot boxes eventually anyway.

Nov 17, 2017Worst pre-order and crappiest game ever. And it is really nice that I can keep my money this time. The crappy Star Wars franchise is officially dead for me. Jar Jar Binks LOL
-
Nov 17, 2017They added micro transactions and made it pay to win then bought re-spawn entertainment, It really sucks that they did this to a franchise like Battlefront, Companies really don't care about treating franchises like these with respect and milk it away like any other product

Nov 17, 2017I've been reading reviews in metacritic for years, but this is the first time i created an account, i just want to encourage people to NOT BUY THIS GAME!, doesn't matter how big Star Wars fan you are, we need to unite, we have the power to end this.
Please, if you consider yourself a true gamer do not support this game. -
Nov 17, 2017The crritics who reviewed this game positively should be embarassed of themselves. This game is purely a cash grab. You want to be competitive in this game spend real money, or give up your life. Enjoy the single player campaign, its only about 4 hours long, but I am sure thats worth $60.
-
Nov 17, 2017I played a **** of Battlefront 2 in PS2 era... And **** it was awesome! So before this **** began, i was considering buy the new game.
But EA had to **** everything up. Had to. So yeah... **** EA. -
Nov 17, 2017Injecting gambling to warp the minds of consumers, and create less of a story for them and more of an addiction deserves a very low score. Thus, the 0.
-
Nov 17, 2017This game is great for millonaires, just pay 2,100 and you'll get all the content!
The decision from EA to have a game based around loot boxes and making it so that you must spend money in order to have an advantage against other players is disgusting. -

Nov 17, 2017I will never support or buy a **** EA game until the **** micro transactions loot boxes DIE. The gaming industry is **** dieing.,...................,...................,...................,..................
-
Nov 17, 2017This full priced AAA games microtransaction gambling has to be stopped. EA crossed a line in greed and this game is a proof that they don't care about gamers.
-
Nov 17, 2017EA thinks we are stupid. Ok, we, you, everyone know that there are too many stupid people around there that will buy your **** no matter what, and you decided long time ago that they are your target.
Perfect! Enjoy your **** -
Nov 17, 2017We need to stop this vile threat. The pay to win mechanic means if you dont fork out hundreds of dollars ontop of this $60 purchase price, you are going to be stomped by moma's credit card.
This is an buggy pay2win free2play game, with all of the worst free2play tactics, at a premium price tag. -
Nov 17, 2017don't let this sh*t become the future of games. If we let this pass more and more companies will decide to go this way. We really need to stop this here and don't buy. Just don't buy. Enough great games out there. Please just ignore this one for a better future.
-
Nov 17, 2017Like an idiot, I pre-ordered the FIRST Star Wars Battlefront. The game was so bad I burned it.
I am one of those people who actually refused to buy the next (this) Battlefront, knowing full well it would also be awful.
If games like The Witcher can be great for $60.00 then all games can.
Stop buying this crap people. -

Nov 17, 2017The ability to purchase crystals in-game will become available at a later date. NO THANK YOU. Disney please address this blatant predatory gambling system. My kid loves Star Wars and he really wants to play this game. But it should not be making him a gambling addict!!!
-
Nov 17, 2017Barely an improvement on the last one, gives a bad name to the original Battlefront 2, and of course it doesn't respect the player, their time, or their money.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018Excellent online action offers hours of Stormtooper-shooting fun, but the so-so campaign stumbles, while cynical loot crates leave a sour taste. [Jan 2017, p.83]
-
Jan 21, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.

Dec 29, 2017Although game has huge problems with p2w microtransactions, it is still a good and fun gameplay experience with stunning visuals.
