    When I played the Beta of this game, it was great! I really enjoyed the game play and I thought Theed was great. Now the game has been released for some time and I have played it enough to write my own review.

    At first I really liked the game and had a lot of fun. EA/DICE seem to ruin the game more and more after every update. I don't know what's up, but it's terrible.     Please DICE, hear me! Why do you make such a good platform for it to be thrown all away from horrible updates and lack of content.

    This review is focused on the multi-player aspects within the game. As far as single-player, that was trash from the beginning. EA should have an entirely separate game for single-player instead of overwhelming themselves with to much content to be made in such a short time.    … Expand

    I have played this game since Beta, I was very concerned about the pay to win system and the microtransactions and that made me not buy the game, of course because of this live service practice the game suffered a great deal and pushed fans like me away.

    BUT, i have been play this game for 8 months now and i must say they have improved a lot.     Having this game on my EA subscription I really enjoyed playing the 2 single player stories. If you don’t do the multiplayer stuff this game is a nice recipe to fill your boring days.

    This game is very good. sure in the beginning it was overlooked because of the lootbox controversy. But since then the developers at DICE really worked their skins off too revive the game and even if it's sad they didn't get in everything i wanted like ashoka, coruscant among others It went from a mess at launch to become one of the best shooters out there. If you have a chance go give it a try.

Можливо на релізі і були якісь проблеми але їх давно вже вирішили і крім цього dice підтримує гру більше двох років випускаючи кожний місяць абсолютно БЕЗКОШТОВНІ dlc. Більше б таких розробників!!!!!Чудова гра!!!! Граю вже в неї більше року і не розумію звідки такі оцінки.     As a Star Wars fan there are many things I liked about this title; easter eggs, the story, some characters, etc. However, its campaign is very short, and despite telling a new story (with new and classic characters from the saga) it doesn't have as much weight as I would have liked.

    It's clear that as a Battlefield, this game wants to focus on the MultiPlayer, which is quite entertaining, limited and with its several connections in comparison with such franchise.     Great graphics, but my ps4 pro sounds like plane when playing this :D
    At this point this game is pretty goods. But older Battlefront was better.

    It might sound and look like Star Wars, but Battlefront II is anemic and straight up lazy in most other aspects. Starting off with a short yet boring/repetative/dull/cliche-filled/chore of a single player campaign that combines all the excitement of washing dishes with the pleasure of getting a tooth pulled. After that, you dive into multiplayer which serves to show you that in the SWIt might sound and look like Star Wars, but Battlefront II is anemic and straight up lazy in most other aspects. Starting off with a short yet boring/repetative/dull/cliche-filled/chore of a single player campaign that combines all the excitement of washing dishes with the pleasure of getting a tooth pulled. After that, you dive into multiplayer which serves to show you that in the SW world, if you aren't a jedi, life sucks. Aside from Heroes vs. Villains, all other modes feel weak and tedious. Sure, there's some excitement in charging down a straight path with 20 other stormtroopers, but that quickly wears off when you realise your guns are about as mighty as water ballons and you're better off just getting killed over and over again till' you get enough points to play as a Jedi. Even in a pre-Jedi Fallen Order world, this is a sad excuse of a Star Wars game.… Expand

    Battlefront II is a different game than launch day. The DLC has changed the whole game. ranging from characters and the modes. The Campaign is lackluster. But you call still tell EA still has there dirty hand. But you can tell that they were holding back a lot of the content back. I like this game. But this game has a lot Skeleton in the closet

    My review is mostly for a single player campaign. I really didn't like shooting mechanics, so, as for me, if I would play on-line, i wouldn't have got any joy.
    Single missions are poorly structured, characters are very simple and you won't get a convincing story from this game. But it's still Star Wars and you will meet plenty of well-known characters, you will see a few interesting    My review is mostly for a single player campaign. Also Battlefront II has perfect visual part, Frostbite is still one of the most advanced game engines.

    I LOVED Battlefront (2015) so I pre-ordered the Deluxe for $60 with EA access. Maybe this is why my experience is better. I mean You can only enjoy this game if you buy Deluxe edition.     I always start with the positives so here we go,

    DICE NAILED the graphics and sounds. The Music feels like your playing Star Wars, the Blasters feel powerful. The graphics on all textures are amazing. And this is coming from a guy who puts graphics and artwork before anything.

    Some of the modes are actually good. Like Ewok hunt, Blast, and the new Capital Supremacy.

    Now on to the negatives

    While Loot-boxes are still a problem, they have become less forced. Sure you will get killed by a guy who has all maxed out cards, but thats not that common. I haven't purchased any loot-boxes or paid content, and i still have some fun playing.

    The story is terrible mainly because they REALLY try to emphasize that Iden is a strong, female Protagonist. She takes off her helmet about 50 times. You also barley see ANY emotion in the Story.    … Expand

    Maybe this game was incomplete in its launch, but now, with all its free DLCs, game modes and of course The Clone Wars and Prequels, its one of the best online shooter games.

    I bought this game a year after it was released and I don't regret it. However, it is by no means perfect. The in-game economy is stingy so you have to grind to earn a good amount of money but it's only used for skins and emotes. Micro-transactions have no influence on gameplay. The campaign is really boring and arcade mode doesn't have much that is fun. Multiplayer is what saves thisI bought this game a year after it was released and I don't regret it.     RU: Прошло два года с её релиза. Всё глобально поменялось! Можно сказать в лучшую сторону. А так я вам её советую. Цена мелка,бывают скидки от которых игра может стоить ~ 800 рублей.(~12$)

    Battelfront 2 has redeemed itself over the past year. They've worked hard to include so much content and variety that makes gameplay interesting and fun. Nothing quiet like this out there. Thanks Dice.....and EA.

    after 3 god damn years this game is still a mess , the gameplay is just buggy as hell, sometimes when you block the enemies attack , their attack will still get through your block , circumstances like this you really don't know when are you making the right choice or not in the game ,and it really should not be like this

    Slightly better than it was but just because they got caught and changed this time doesnt mean we aren't going to get the same thing with star wars battlefront 3 (If they were smart they would just remaster the original battlefront 2)

    A friend bought me this game well after the lootboxes were removed from the game. So I can not speak to that problem, but what I did play, was overall just mediocre, the graphics are incredible, the maps are bland, the story mode is bland uninspired and boring, there are few modes to play, the card mechanic makes it near impossible for new players as you are just steam rolled every match.A friend bought me this game well after the lootboxes were removed from the game. Especially disappointing compared to the original Battlefront 2, which was bleeding with personality and charm.… Expand

    the game began as a terrible version of the original battlefront 2 but since summer 2018 its been getting constantly updates and make the game better originally i was gonna give it a 4 but i. i. actualty started liking this game a bit so a 7 will do

    One of my Favorite multiplayer games of all time. It has a lot of content for a pretty cheap price. Also, it looks fantastic! Get this game, you won't regret it!

    If people were to look past the whole loot box fiasco, yes that was all EA and EA would monetize air if they could but the thing is DICE never wanted to do it in the first place, they had to in order to make the game. Now let's get past that, the game now has been incredible. Me being a Star Wars fan this game has came from hell and back to regain reputation.

    One thing is the addition of my favorite season the Clone Wars. which added Obi-Wan/Grievous/Dooku/Anakin and even the clone commando! along with others of course. The addition of capital supremacy was amazing. Honestly I think its better than the original and that's coming from a guy who creamed over that game. Now the only thing I have against the game right now would be the story. Yeah kinda lack luster protagonist and we all wish that they could just re-create the old battlefront story but that isn't possible due to Disney annexing it from cannon.
    Please if you ever get the chance, re-play the game with all the updates and you won't be as disappointed as you were 2 years ago.    … Expand

    Still today, the game has a lack of content, clunky light saber combat, linear multiplayer game modes, and now cannon breaking heroes.

    At it's release, I'll admit, it was pretty shady and had many faults. However, the state today is an amazing star wars game with so much content from every era. EA redeemed themselves

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
