    Very hollow interpretation of the original game. The mechanics and graphics are great but many areas, enemies and weapons are cut. The scenario is essentially completely different and is no way near as interesting or engaging as the original. Nemesis although scary is kind of disappointing and he transformations are underwhelming. There is also no multiple choice story options as in theVery hollow interpretation of the original game.     First of all Nemesis is not scary or exciting, he is just annoying! Nothing like Mr.X.

    Zombie physics are not same. They have an animation of death. They disappear after they die. No counter attack to them when caught. There aren't many zombies in general. Which all these makes the game less exciting. Comparing to re2, game is too short and simple. Most parts of the game is about    First of all Nemesis is not scary or exciting, he is just annoying! Nothing like Mr.X.

    Massive disappointment. Way too short, completely ruined the most iconic enemy in the whole series, terrible writing at times, lots of cut content, lazy, rushed development, almost no replayability apart from the harder modes, junk multiplayer mode. Good looking game tho with good combat system, that's it.
    Stay away from this game. Massive lazy cashgrab.

    Mucho contenido sin utilizar, por ejemplo crearon el escenario final con el helipuerto y no es exporable, se quito hasta un 60% del mapa del original. Se quitaron enemigos, no hay mercenarios, no hay DLC.

A ver este juego tiene muchos problemas: a quien se le ocurre lanzar un juego un año despues del 2 remake y tambien hay recortes del original, no estan las decisiones del original, ni el modo mercenarios. Osea q no incita a la re jugabilidad, luego hacen unos rediseños fallidos, y luego se inventan conversaciones q no estaban en el original y a jill la hiciron fea y feminazi luego la boss fight final de nemesis una cagada esta rota y sobretado en las dificultades altas, no es como en RE2 Remake q los bosses te daban una ostia y te respetaban y te dejaban levantarte y curarte aqui contra nemesis no y encima si vas con todas las monedas de defensa te revienta igual y no te deja levantarte y curarte.… Expand

    I give it a three because it looks really nice.... beyond that i don't know what the **** they where thinking when they decided to do this, they ruined everything that made RE3 awesome, they modified the complete walkthrough, removed the puzzles, made Nemesis a ****ing joke..... And even is short as **** you cant even enjoy it....

    This game is an abomination and a slap in the face to fans of the original game. Nemesis is one big set piece. I'll forever be annoyed with Capcom for being so blatantly lazy here.

    So it's been over 2 years now and the game is still disappointing and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. What hurts even more is that we will never get an RE3 remake again..... so long Raccoon City I enjoyed your linear streets for 20 minutes, Farewell and Rest In Peace

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's NOT entirely bad, but it IS the WORST of the RE Remake Franchise series. With that being said, I'll break it down in 2. The Good and the Bad.
    The Bad: The New design of the Nemesis is Terrible, doesn't even come close to the original. Every SINGLE time, that you fight the Nemesis, it is scripted (yes you DID fight the Nemesis in the original, in scripted parts. But in MANY occasions it was RANDOM), the Deletion of the WHOLE Clocktower Area was a TERRIBLE decision. The Good: The music is VERY reminiscent of 80s Horror/sci-fi, as a Gen-X Gamer I can testify for this. The new design of Carlos was a DEFINITE improvement and last the overall Graphics was Fantastic and that's what pretty much sugar coated the entire game. But again this is the WEAKEST of the ENTIRE RE Remake Franchise installments.    … Expand

    They removed all puzzles, replaced them by yellow colored locks and chains. Alot of content is missing, clocktower, park, multiple endings, mercenary mode. Nemesis is just a walking trashbag. Hes is boring as he gets, 1 granade finnishes him off...Atleast in the orignal game he was    Horrible.... Why Capcom why.... I was awaiting this game, hoped it would be good but no....

Instead Jill trashes him like some ordinary zombie.

    Why does Nemesis need weapons to kill Jill? He can just grab her and crush her head.... but no, that won't happen, lets change it into boring action fights instead. Nemesis can smash a concrete wall with ease, but a door stops him, what the hell?

    Jill acts like a feminist, not needing help of any man. Her original outfit is replaced by a boring casual outfit, her original outfit atleast looked interesting and unique.

    Carlos hair looks stupid.... why change it....

    A missed opportunity to make the game as good as the RE2 remake, alot of dissapointed fans, shame Capcom, Shame....

    Buy on sale if your bored out of your mind and got nothing else to play...    … Expand

    The game can be completed in ONE HOUR, and most people do it in FIVE. not only this, but capcom have taken it upon themselves to put extra effort into the bundled multiplayer game that NOBODY ASKED FOR and most people DON'T EVEN WANT. HEY CAPCOM, how about getting a decent amount of content FOR THE GAME THAT I BOUGHT ??????? Capcom have lost my trust    UTTERLY DISGUSTING.

    I'm one of the biggest RE fans out there. Of course I played every title to death, esp. the old trilogy and CVX. So I'm a fan of the original RE3 too. This remake is a joke. Of course it's too short but the worst for me: they cut out not only the decisions at some time but the clock tower! THE CLOCK TOWER - my fav. location in the original Cut out. Because of cash grab.     It is a good game, but definetily, isn't a good Resident Evil 3 game! Why cut the giant worm? why cut a Nemesis transformation? Why cut the clock tower? the RPD? this isnt the classic resident evil 3, this is CAPCOM crazyness at its finest. Shame.

    Hospital defense **** completely ruined this game. RE2 remake is by far the superior experience compared to this boring and aggravating slog.

Why do you have to bring RE6 action movie feature in the game?? It is utterly useless and boring ! I hate it ! I really hate it !! Please do not remake any more games because you have just killed my favorite one. Focus SINGLE PLAYER, NO ONE WANTS MULTIPLAYERGame is too short.     Horrible. This is such a downgrade from 2, they decided to cut all of the relevant and major events and locations from the original, this feels rushed, feels more like a DLC than a main game.

    Not as good as the RE2make. Also, why the **** is is so easy, when jumping through hoops to restart after you die, to accidentally agree to switch to 'assisted' mode?! What a waste of the 4 hours of game this was... Why, the **** would I want to change to assisted mode after one death?

Like the classics, she again enjoys the success of RE2 Remake and gives us a completely inferior sequence.     Even though it is a very successful game, you will feel a little disappointed. Compared to the remake of the second game, this one often loses its pace and it is impossible to get rid of the impression that there could and should have been more to this game. [Issue#303]

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
