    I give this score to the game because once again greed is behind everything. They did an amazing job on Resident Evil 2 Remake, even though they didn't add important things that made the original a great game, fans were given a good game with a fresh look and also it was a glorious return to the original survival horror. Before anyone knew about RE3R they came with the Resistance project just to find out that nobody cares about it, so, to avoid a colossal failure, they decided to rush a game that could have been 10 times better, selling it at a very high price that people that were satisfied with RE2R would pay at Pre-Order.… Expand

    La jugabilidad es paupérrima.
    Mas para la generación del «ratón-historieta» será excelente, pues están en el mismo escalón.

    Я являюсь не побоюсь этого слова фанатом первых трёх частей этой серии , в своё время проходил проходил в захлеб на PS1 , И вот выходит Resident Evil 2 remake и он встал не самым лучшим ремэйком но достойным. Я ждал Resident Evil 3 remake до дрожи и думал что это будет манна небесная а получил ПОЛНУЮ ХАЛТУРУ .

    This game is a downgrade in every respect, be it compared to the original RE3 or the RE2 Remake.
    I cannot stress enough my disappointment.
    Aside from the cut content, the downgraded gore, the changes to memorable moments (like Brad's death) that led to the trivialization of characters, and Nemesis being a skrited joke for the most part, what most people are failing to mention is Jill's    This game is a downgrade in every respect, be it compared to the original RE3 or the RE2 Remake.

    Resident evil 3 was my favorite game on PS1 and capcom managed to destroy it in that remake. Nemesis became a dog in the middle of the game! extremely short and linear game, they cut the main parts of the game out for only laziness and the new parts do not justify the full price you pay! the game had a lot of potential, but for me it was the biggest disappointment of all!

    This game deserves a 0 for misleading the fans and showing no respect for them. Companies shouldn't be allowed to engage in such practices without consequences. They lured you in with the name RE3 only to stab you with Resistance in the back.

I gave it 0 because I don’t care about the gameplay cause it’s a copy paste of RE2 Remake I’m ok with that if they only been faithful as RE2 I’d love this game but they weren’t with the original RE3 nemesis I gave it a 0 because it’s a re imagining of RE 3 NEMESIS and look at the re imagining they’ve done a complete twist on the storyline they’re cut so many content the so many locations it’s very very sad… Expand

    The amount of things removed is a joke, not to mention the duration. Right now there are better games than RE3 like Final Fantasy, Doom Eternal, Persona 5 and Nioh 2

    I’ve been with this franchise from the ps1 days and there have been very many highs and lows. RE2 remake was a fantastic game!! But I am so disappointed with RE3 remake. This feels like RE6 all over again:( I hate saying that but it’s true.

    Esperábamos mucho más, una ciudad de racoon City y no una calle con un parte de locales, la torre, le parque, nuevas zonas (No una alcantarilla!!!) y Nemesis que apareciera sorpresiva mente en varias ocasiones, no con cinemáticas! Desilucinante, pagar tanto y esperar un remake del juego que para mi ha sido el mejor de todos los juegos de zombie de culto, verlo tan desaprovechado por hacer las cosas a medias y muy mal    … Expand

    Rotting corpses, Mutated creatures, and large monsters chasing you is mainly what a resident evil game entails. This new installment has all these things but still falls short of being a great game, atg least on par with the rest of the series. Resident Evil 3 has a lot of small problems that add up to really bring it down for me.

    This game takes the same basic plot as the original game and tries to update to a more modern way of characterization in characters and plot instances, but I feel that the changes they made in the minor details really throws off the plot and how the player feels about them. Characters die in diffrent ways that somewhat makes the Nemesis of the game seem not as menacing because it shows him as incompetent and thus being not scary. Other things are character differences with the main cast. Jill Valentine comes of as rude and bratty in this one while in previous entries she is more wary then outright spiteful in her dialogue. Calos is a pretty good new interpretation of the character that feels like the original even though there is new attributes to his character. All the other characters didn’t really have a personality in the original so automatically they are a step up as you can now kinda get a sense of who they are with the little screen time they get. These are some of the more positive changes, but plot points and puzzles from the original are cut from this entry, so it makes the game feel like a fast pace and seem like a short game. They really should have kept these things from the original to make the game feel longer and even out the pace to amore reasonable way. It also really irks me since these were the things from the original game I was looking forward to. Overall, due to a plot that cuts things that would lengthen the game, weird fast pace I didn't really enjoy, and the main character being really unlikable to me, this game was really only an okay experience.    … Expand

    Huge disappointment. More than half scenarios cut, lame boss battles, lame enemies and a very short game. Nemesis is a pushover that never really got me any feeling of danger. The best part of the game is the the one that was in the demo.

    This game could have been a masterpiece but it is an insult to its original 1999 counterpart. It was for me the biggest disappointment of all 2020 I would have sincerely preferred that it never came out ... After a memorable Resident Evil 2 Remake I am not I would never have expected from Capcom such a miserable and shameful treatment for the third chapter of the saga as my favorite oneThis game could have been a masterpiece but it is an insult to its original 1999 counterpart.     the original story was an escape. In horror the protagonist is afraid, so that we the audience may relate, may feel that emotion. Jill was not some super heroin, she was a survivor living in a city. She escaped from her apartment, her place of safety, ran to the police station, the pillar of society, and it was collapsed. she fled further and saw the city hall crumbled. The city's history, built on this mega corp, in the clock tower. the outskirts and how it affects people living outside the city, and the final escape from the docks.

    The characters, while with bad dialogue, had the heart of horror in the classic. The Remake characters had no soul, were shallow, one dimensional, lacklustre, and had no emotional involvement, even the villain mikhail, who was all over the city in the original.

    the game was promised to be massive, instead it was turned into an almost rail shooter for speed runner views, gimmicky bossfights of which there are very few and far between, and a lack of the city of racoon that would flush out a comprehensive story which spoke of a history and characterization in both the horror setting and dystopian setting.

    graphics were great, action was great. literally everything else fell through. And it shows. you can see where they had originall designed more areas to explore. more puzzles to be made. and more locations with newer monsters that fit the settings. All in the train station terminal room. It had several locations that were outright bypassed, a clever little puzzle, and notes all over the board. as the game went on less and less detail, like those notes, were put into the environment, even in the hospital which seemed fully fleshed out.

    it's good for a playthrough, and good for 25$, but as a remake and a triple A title. this was on of the greatest disappointments of my modern gaming life. and TLOU2 just came out.    … Expand

    Even though it is a very successful game, you will feel a little disappointed. Compared to the remake of the second game, this one often loses its pace and it is impossible to get rid of the impression that there could and should have been more to this game. [Issue#303]

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
