    Very hollow interpretation of the original game. The mechanics and graphics are great but many areas, enemies and weapons are cut. The scenario is essentially completely different and is no way near as interesting or engaging as the original. Nemesis although scary is kind of disappointing and he transformations are underwhelming. There is also no multiple choice story options as in theVery hollow interpretation of the original game.     First of all Nemesis is not scary or exciting, he is just annoying! Nothing like Mr.X.

    Zombie physics are not same. They have an animation of death. They disappear after they die. No counter attack to them when caught. There aren't many zombies in general. Which all these makes the game less exciting. Comparing to re2, game is too short and simple. Most parts of the game is about    First of all Nemesis is not scary or exciting, he is just annoying! Nothing like Mr.X.

    Massive disappointment. Way too short, completely ruined the most iconic enemy in the whole series, terrible writing at times, lots of cut content, lazy, rushed development, almost no replayability apart from the harder modes, junk multiplayer mode. Good looking game tho with good combat system, that's it.
    Stay away from this game. Massive lazy cashgrab.

    Mucho contenido sin utilizar, por ejemplo crearon el escenario final con el helipuerto y no es exporable, se quito hasta un 60% del mapa del original. Se quitaron enemigos, no hay mercenarios, no hay DLC.

A ver este juego tiene muchos problemas: a quien se le ocurre lanzar un juego un año despues del 2 remake y tambien hay recortes del original, no estan las decisiones del original, ni el modo mercenarios. Osea q no incita a la re jugabilidad, luego hacen unos rediseños fallidos, y luego se inventan conversaciones q no estaban en el original y a jill la hiciron fea y feminazi luego la boss fight final de nemesis una cagada esta rota y sobretado en las dificultades altas, no es como en RE2 Remake q los bosses te daban una ostia y te respetaban y te dejaban levantarte y curarte aqui contra nemesis no y encima si vas con todas las monedas de defensa te revienta igual y no te deja levantarte y curarte.… Expand

    I give it a three because it looks really nice.... beyond that i don't know what the **** they where thinking when they decided to do this, they ruined everything that made RE3 awesome, they modified the complete walkthrough, removed the puzzles, made Nemesis a ****ing joke..... And even is short as **** you cant even enjoy it....

    This game is an abomination and a slap in the face to fans of the original game. Nemesis is one big set piece. I'll forever be annoyed with Capcom for being so blatantly lazy here.

    So it's been over 2 years now and the game is still disappointing and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. What hurts even more is that we will never get an RE3 remake again..... so long Raccoon City I enjoyed your linear streets for 20 minutes, Farewell and Rest In Peace

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It's NOT entirely bad, but it IS the WORST of the RE Remake Franchise series. With that being said, I'll break it down in 2. The Good and the Bad.
    The Bad: The New design of the Nemesis is Terrible, doesn't even come close to the original. Every SINGLE time, that you fight the Nemesis, it is scripted (yes you DID fight the Nemesis in the original, in scripted parts. But in MANY occasions it was RANDOM), the Deletion of the WHOLE Clocktower Area was a TERRIBLE decision. The Good: The music is VERY reminiscent of 80s Horror/sci-fi, as a Gen-X Gamer I can testify for this. The new design of Carlos was a DEFINITE improvement and last the overall Graphics was Fantastic and that's what pretty much sugar coated the entire game. But again this is the WEAKEST of the ENTIRE RE Remake Franchise installments.    … Expand

    They removed all puzzles, replaced them by yellow colored locks and chains. Alot of content is missing, clocktower, park, multiple endings, mercenary mode. Nemesis is just a walking trashbag. Hes is boring as he gets, 1 granade finnishes him off...Atleast in the orignal game he was    Horrible.... Why Capcom why.... I was awaiting this game, hoped it would be good but no....

    Why does Nemesis need weapons to kill Jill? He can just grab her and crush her head.... but no, that won't happen, lets change it into boring action fights instead. Nemesis can smash a concrete wall with ease, but a door stops him, what the hell?

    Jill acts like a feminist, not needing help of any man. Her original outfit is replaced by a boring casual outfit, her original outfit atleast looked interesting and unique.

    Carlos hair looks stupid.... why change it....

    A missed opportunity to make the game as good as the RE2 remake, alot of dissapointed fans, shame Capcom, Shame....

    Buy on sale if your bored out of your mind and got nothing else to play...    … Expand

Of course it's too short but the worst for me: they cut out not only the decisions at some time but the clock tower! THE CLOCK TOWER - my fav. location in the original Cut out. Because of cash grab.     It is a good game, but definetily, isn't a good Resident Evil 3 game! Why cut the giant worm? why cut a Nemesis transformation? Why cut the clock tower? the RPD? this isnt the classic resident evil 3, this is CAPCOM crazyness at its finest. Shame.

Why do you have to bring RE6 action movie feature in the game?? It is utterly useless and boring ! I hate it ! I really hate it !!     Not as good as the RE2make. Also, why the **** is is so easy, when jumping through hoops to restart after you die, to accidentally agree to switch to 'assisted' mode?! What a waste of the 4 hours of game this was... Why, the **** would I want to change to assisted mode after one death?

    I was esstatic when the Nemesis remake was announced! After the RE2 Remake how could you not be?!?! Being a fan of Resident Evil since 95 these games mean a lot to me , as they do for many and withall that in mind I really wanted to like this game. It's not that it's a bad game. It controls well and it absolutely looks amazing, especially on the Pro and the HDR is implemented much betterI was esstatic when the Nemesis remake was announced! After the RE2 Remake how could you not be?!?! Being a fan of Resident Evil since 95 these games mean a lot to me , as they do for many and withall that in mind I really wanted to like this game. It's not that it's a bad game. It controls well and it absolutely looks amazing, especially on the Pro and the HDR is implemented much better than 2 but that's about where it stops as far as it being superiorto RE2! For one Capcom cut so much material and locations from this game. The clock tower which played a crucial role in the original is gone (albeit in the background as an Easter egg) the park which was a nice change of scenery in the original had been cut to a connector area with no enemies and no Gravedigger boss fight!!!!! The Dead Factory which was such a creepy and cool place and featured the final fight with Nemesis is gone..... gone! Also Capcom had a chance to expand upon Raccoon City and really flesh it out but again it seems rushed. Sure it looks incredible and you can go in buildings but once you trigger the next story sequence your exploring is cut short and there's no going back. It's a big bummer. Speaking of Nemesis, he's supposed to be the big scary Tyrant that's superior to Mr X. Well he's not. Mr X in thd RE2 Remake legitimately frightened me! Running and hiding in a safe home or being on one floor and hearing his footsteps and not knowing where they were coming from was unnerving to say the least. They expanded upon the OG Mr X and made him a worthy adversary but they went the complete opposite with Nemesis! Most of the encounters with him are cinematic, quick timed events. There are s few encounters in the early part of the game that are scary but halfway through the pacing becomes bipolar!

    It's also really short. About six hours and it's over and there's little incentive to replay it too. It seems the inclusion of Resistance was supposed to make up for the lack of content but it doesn't. I didn't buy RE Resistance, I bought RE3 Nemesis Remake! It's not that scary either. It looks amazing, controls great and Jill is reimagined perfectly! She's a believable badass protagonist but it's just sad she's stuck in this game!    … Expand

    Best remake is RE1 remake from 2002 and both RE2 and RE3 remakes are bad and waste of time. There is no horror, no atmosphere, no anything.

    Como o jogo que marcou minha juventude, Resident Evil 3 Remake é uma extrema falta de respeito com os fãs antigos e com a nova geração, por ser tão fácil e tão curto. Update gráfico não faz uma boa sequencia e nem se quer um grande jogo.    Incrível como conseguiram fracassar depois de um acerto tão grande como RE2, pegaram um dos maiores vilões dos games e transformaram em um gato mutante.
    Como o jogo que marcou minha juventude, Resident Evil 3 Remake é uma extrema falta de respeito com os fãs antigos e com a nova geração, por ser tão fácil e tão curto. Update gráfico não faz uma boa sequencia e nem se quer um grande jogo.

    No replayability. You ll get platinum in 3 sits and then kiss this game goodbye. Not worth the 60 bucks. This should have been a 20 dollars dlc for Resident evil 2 remake. Capcom coming back to being Cashcom. Unless the company is planning a huge free dlc for this, is not worth time or money. Stay away from this nostalgia cash grab.

    This was so clearly meant to be a DLC for RE2 but was rushed and packaged with a multiplayer game nobody wanted. Too short, unnecessary cuts from the original, and simply not worth the price.

But reason why i gave it a 2 was because alot of the content was removed. The areas like the clock tower, the boss fights, the extra modes and endings that were in the original all removed.     Mas no fim é completamente decepcionante, linear, extremamente clichê e sem nenhum pingo de cuidado que re2 teve.
    Parece simplesmente que aproveitaram o sucesso deste para ganhar dinheiro facil, coisa que conseguiram, pelo menos comigo que pela primeira vez comprou um jogo na pré-venda. :(

I can't believe that someone has so much to do with the city and the game itself, expand the universe and improve 99' version, wich is still better than this rushed remake. Making it full price, cutting its content makes me wonder what kind of disappointment Capcom has to bring after this sad game.

Having played the original Resident Evil 3, if you are coming to this game hoping for anything close to the experience the original game, you will be disappointed.     A disappointment in every way after the experience offered by RE2. The inferiority is evident almost immediately and the game never is as fun or interesting as RE2. The Nemesis system is clunky and too canned. Jill's character model is ugly. Its just a weak effort all around. Skip it or wait for a super good sale.

    They cut so much content from the original game. Pretty much all the puzzles do not exist in this game. Nemesis is as scary as a wet towel and useless. He only shows up during scripted events. I manage to beat this game just under 5 hours. This game was clearly rushed after how well RE2 did.

    Do not buy this game. It has cut a lot of content from the original release. They also downgraded the zombie gore and Nemesis is just a worse version of Mr. X from REmake 2. It's a blatant cashgrab made by a B-team. It's also REALLY short. Definitely not worth full price imho.

That was how things should have been done but not this time following the abomination that was RE:2 (Awful B scenerio etc.) Capcom have done it again with a lack of respect to the original material that feels nothing like the original Resident Evil 3. Example in the original game Jill explored the Police Station but nope it's Carlos who explores it. The game doesn't feel very balanced it's not a resident evil game that I enjoy at all.

    50% of the game is cut, Nemesis is able to become spider man from the clouds. Hardcore mode auto saves.

    The game feels rushed and uninspired. Nothing about this game feels like re3 for ps1. It feels like RE4 + Alien isolation + RE6 + Spider Man. If these games scream RE3 to you then something is wrong with you.

    I absolutely hate this game. If this is how capcom is going to continue making games. Dude throw in the towel you suck at this point. This looks to just be capcom quickly turning RE2 remake success into quick cash and hoping nobody sees.

    This really upset me and I don't think I'm going to continue playing capcom games after this title.    … Expand

    Other than the short RE3 campaign, the Multiplayer mode is just a cheap copycat to DbD. RE deserves much more creativity than this crap!

    The only faithful part of this game is that it all happend at September 28.

    The rest of it is just sad. RE 3 is a game that left a scar at my youth. I looked foward for this reamek for YEARS (decades, really).

    Completly disapointed. This remake is a joke of questionable humor made in a waiting room.

Like many good reviewers already said, this feels like a good DLC and is not worth its price tag. I can see the Capcom in this game that gave us RE5,6 and other mediocre games

    Начнём с редизайна персонажей.Джилл. Нет, сама по себе она прекрасна. Её внешность и голос близки к идеалу того, чего я ожидал.НО. При предзаказе нас всех жёстко на е бали, выдав всем "классический костюм" Джилл с юбкой и топом. Радости не было предела, потому что её новая одежда реально ударила по канону. Юбкой и топом. Или нет? Ну конечно нет. Юбка была заменена неким подобием шорт. ШОРТЫ,КАРЛ. В чём была проблема разрабов сделать классическую юбку Джилл? Я до сих пор не вкуриваю прикола. То ли это фемки реально начали давить на "уязвимость", то ли разрабы поехали крышей на "реализме",типа:"ну неудобно же бегать в зомби апокалипсис в юбке".Кек, а поднимать 150кг лазерную пушку при весе тела в 55-60кг - удобно?Что за абсурд?.(Да и вообще о каком нахрен реализме может идти речь в игре по RE?ЭТО ЖЕ ИГРА ПРО ЗОМБИ,ВАШУ МАТЬ).
    Поехали дальше. Немесис.. Ну просто шикарный. Неутомимый. Зловещий. Устрашающий. (Это всё сарказм,он просто жалок по сравнению со старичком Немесис из оригинала). Ничего не буду про него говорить, о нём уже давно всё сказано.
    Следующий пункт, от которого у меня бомбит - разрабы хотели раскрыть второстепенных персонажей больше. Когда я это узнал, я визжал от радости,надеясь на более глубокую историю Михаила, или похождения гниды Николая. Но уж никак я не ожидал то,что под второстепенными персонажами они имели в виду никому не упёршегося н игера, который в оригинале имел роль куска мяса,который должен был себя подорвать гранатой. Так вот, ему выделили в игре больше хронометража,чем тому же Михаилу, или же Николаю.
    О самом сюжете в целом. Вырезано более 70% оригинальной игры. Что же вырезано?
    Вырезана Часовня.Вырезан гигантский червь.Вырезан парк города.
    Вырезано кладбище.
    Вырезаны пауки.
    Вырезаны некоторые враги(типа мелких миног-червей).
    Вырезан момент,где Джилл посещает полицейский участок(где смысл этого - не понятно)
    Немесис больше не убивает Брэда.(Т.е смысл "убийцы" отряда S.T.A.R.S просто теряется)

And it's not just her appearance, her behavior is also gross. They turned her into some dirty mouthed feminist. They also toned down the gore compared to RE2 for some reason that is beyond me.
    Not to mention the game is absurdly short, and there's little to no incentive to play it again.
    One could argue that the original RE3 was also short, but so was the original RE2 too. But Capcom expanded the RE2 Remake and made it into a 15 to 20 hour game, which was a really great decision, while they didn't do the same with RE3, a game that you can beat in 5 hours in your playthgrough. It's simply absurd.

    Um jogo 'insana'mente fácil com ausência de elementos clássicos na história, falta de profundidade dos personagens, foge completamente do que se esperava em vista de REvil2 e a cereja do bolo, um nêmesis fraco e que se transforma num demogorgon gigante.
    Sinceramente, temos aí um forte concorrente a decepção do ano no mundo dos games.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is gonna be a story so relax and listen to an old head explain why this is malarkey incarnate. The game begins in a typical way, starting with a slow, lore intensive opening in which Jill becomes the master of conspiracies and ptsd, and then Nemesis just shows up, busting through a wall. No ounce of subtlety, just big boom. Then, a heavily scripted chase sequence, which ends nonsensically as a doorway of rubble stops Nemesis, he could've easily continued chasing her. Anyway, brad dies, Jill gets her gun, a helicopter shows up and gets blown out of the sky. Now, I would like to say that this was the entire first hour of gameplay in the original game. The entire game has fallacies and shortcuts such as this, and the fact it is not a visual and technical upgrade from the previous game makes all of this unacceptable. The story is not only as inconsequential as the original, but they ripped scenes from other popular games (i.e. killing nemesis is exactly like killing the mastermind in DOOM 2016 no exaggeration.) The mercenaries mode is gone, and the thing I hate the most, the epic final line where Jill says "I'll give you Stars!" is quite literally a throwaway line in another bs scripted chase scene. This game has little respect for the source material, and turned it into the Resident Evil Vendetta of the RE game series. You may wonder what the 1 point is for then if I dislike the game so much? Drain Deimos. Look that up and you will have a good time. Either way, buy re2 before this one.… Expand

    RE2: Remake is one of my favorite games. The exploration has be drastically altered. Most areas are super linear, save for the city early on and, the still limited, hospital. It's a big disappointment.

    Loved the level design and Mr.X of 2 and how the two worked together to make going to new and old areas super stressful and tense. Nemesis doesn't really throw a wrench into exploring and    RE2: Remake is one of my favorite games. The exploration has be drastically altered.     Even though it is a very successful game, you will feel a little disappointed. Compared to the remake of the second game, this one often loses its pace and it is impossible to get rid of the impression that there could and should have been more to this game. [Issue#303]

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
