    Red Dead Redemption 2 is the singular greatest game ever made. I know generally that when a person makes such a ludicrous claim like that, I immediately right it off as mindless fanaticism. And, to be frank, that is the case hear. But by God, this game is incredible. The characters are the best written in any piece of fiction I have ever consumed. For your own good, play this game.

    You know the game is great when you use it as a bar for rating other games X game is 3/Red Dead Redemption 2, so if you love open world games this is a must buy if you love non linear games this is not for you BUT THE GAME IS DISCOUNTED EVERY WEEK OR SO DO NOT BUY FOR THE ORIGINAL PRICE WAIT FOR DISCOUNT.

    The game isn't revolutionary in any sense and largely plays it safe with the story and gameplay but it's still thoroughly entertaining. The story is largely predictable and plays out like a typical gangster movie or narrative but has a unique charm.     Игра с затянутым и длинным, но невероятно интересным сюжетом. Всё проработано до мельчайших деталей. Лол, я игру прошёл на платину, (все достижения игры и прочий контент на 100%) её получать очень долго, но за это время я не заскучал ни на минуту. Лучшая боевка, лучший сюжет, лучшая играИгра с затянутым и длинным, но невероятно интересным сюжетом. Всё проработано до мельчайших деталей.     It is maybe the best game that i have ever played. Rich story, good characters, great open world, tons of stuff to do and the whole atmosphere is just excellent. Even when you play the game for the second or third time you run into new stuff :)
    This review is strictly about the single player mode, it's best to not mention Red Dead Online.

    One of the best games I have ever played. Rockstar has put their heart and soul in this game. I would like to salute the story writers for doing such a commendable job. The world of RDR2 is so lively and there is so much to do in the game. The gameplay mechanics is awesome. My only complaint is not actually with this game but with Rockstar. I played the game on my PS5 console and I missedOne of the best games I have ever played. Rockstar has put their heart and soul in this game. I would like to salute the story writers for doing such a commendable job. The world of RDR2 is so lively and there is so much to do in the game. The gameplay mechanics is awesome. My only complaint is not actually with this game but with Rockstar. I played the game on my PS5 console and I missed the high framerate that is available for PC gamers. Rockstar could provide a high fra patch for this game for current generation consoles. As a whole the game is awesome and if the story is awesome , I would happily play a game at 30 fps.     The game is boring and too long it could have been shorter by half. The game world is mostly empty and uninteresting, traveling on horseback takes too much time. The plot is linear and the player has almost no influence on its progress. The main character Arthur Morgan is annoying and complains all the time, hard to like, the other playable character John Marston is simp.

    The most comprehensive, complex and perfect game I've ever played. The ultimate western simulator. It can easily aspire to be the game of all time. Maybe the epilogue is a bit too long... :)

    Easily the best Rockstar Game to date and, one of the best games of all time. Amazing open world that feels real with a diverse and extensive setting. One of the best stories ever told in video gaming history. Amazing physics. Smooth animations. And easily one of the best prequel sequels ever in media form.

С одной стороны большой порог вхождения присущ шедеврам(к примеру Death Stranding), но с другой стороны медлительный и скучный геймплей-это не признак шедевра, а просто недостаток, который может некоторым понравиться. Для меня лично игра 10/10, я проникся этой медитативностью и реалистичностью, мне былообъективно больше 8 баллов игра не заслуживает, потому что она очень на любителя.     Just finished Rockstars latest masterpiece for the second time on PS5. As I used the words masterpiece, everything from the story, characters, and technical side of this game is top-notch. Rockstar still is the best video game developer which they are rocking for more than 20 years. Can't wait for their next titles.

    I'm surprised Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn't won an oscar for it's storytelling and it's acting. The world is dense with content and it feels like no inch of it is wasted. The best story ever told in video game format, without a doubt.

    RDR2 is definitely a masterpiece, where every little detail is worked out.

    I had so much fun with this game, I played it nonstop until the end and I don't regret it. amazing story, amazing shooting, amazing physics, amazing characters. the only thing I would say needs work is the combat and that's really it! this game is a must play! GO BUY IT!

    This game has great graphic, and amazing story and side activity and you'll definitely won't regret it. Even tho when you're just riding the horse you can still enjoy the world, The world is so well-built you'll be surprised and the details in this game are so good. The NPCs and the world feels so alive in this game compared to other games. Would recommend but you need to play for yourself.

The ending where Arthur dies had my crying and the other gang members deaths but i wouldnt go that far and say that rdr is perfect because it has its downsides. First: the ugly : I still hate that Rockstar stopped putting dlc`s in singleplayer because after all the missions and side misssions there is just nothing to do. 2: the way the Horse moves : the Horse is just the worst. I swear you try to dodge a tree and somehow the Horse stil runs into said Tree. The Good: 1 : The story is just peak Rockstar, every charctarer is likeable in the beginning but after Guarma you start to hate Micah, Dutch, Javier; Bill and Cleet and Joe. Its just perfect! :2: The ragdolls: Im a sucker for Ragdolls and i love the realism when you shoot someone that they bleed to death or just tumble over. :3: The open World is just amazing sometimes you just stop and look at that beutafull blue lake with a litlle cabin on the side just near beaver hollow. Of course the realism is amazing its just funny of how were so amazed by the realism even tho we see this and that every day. Ok, that was ist GG!… Expand

So the years went by and I played some other games like GOW and other blockbusters. As corona kicked in, I had more time at home and spent more time also on the console. I really played alot games in this time until now. So as the time went by the game was rated very high still and all bad comments I have read about the game where from ppl like me who did play it only for short time and did not like the gameplay at all. The story builds slow up aswell. So I thought ill give it a second try, this time I'll play it until the end. Long story short, this game is one of the best games I have ever played and I don't wanna miss a second of it. The slowlyness from the first try made it speciall in the end. The characters are great, the voiceaction is fantastic. The end is one of the best of video game generation. All in all a 10 out of 10 this is my first review I am writing and I not gonna think many will read this, but if you do, dont stop playing the game after some hours, play it until the end.… Expand

    Game is awesome its like grand theft auto but my problem is the cheating online and the amount of updates compare to gta online its sad, I paid full price and I am already bored of the game with nothing new coming to it. Its like rockstar forgot about this game

From the gripping, emotive story to the carefully and wonderfully written characters who are brought to life with phenomenal performances and voice acting, to the small, intricate details which almost feel pointless to include but add up to create an immersive, realistic game world. It should be noted that some of these details may begin to feel slightly harmful to the actual gameplay. For example, Arthur will open every single individual cabinet separately and pick up each item individually too - the same goes for looting enemy bodies.

    The gameplay itself is very solid other than the shooting mechanics and perhaps even the horse riding controls (at least on console) which feel somewhat outdated. The shooting feels really simple and doesn't seem to present any challenge - it's made even easier with the use of dead eye. Although, it was quite fun when hunting animals as you're required choose specific weapons which are suited for the animal and carefully place your shots to ensure you don't harm the pelt. As for the horse riding controls, constantly spamming the X button wasn't exactly the most enjoyable way of travelling through the world. At times it makes you feel like just using the fast travel system which is a shame considering there's an abundance of random events which can occur as you're just riding about which once again make the world feel more alive and lived in. These encounters can also have follow up parts to them where a character you might've helped may reward you for your assistance.

    The story is the most captivating aspect of this game, at least for me. I won't say anything about it so that it isn't spoiled, but it's really good.

    This game is a must have for anyone who loves story games or is a fan of the open world genre. My expectations were high for this game but even they were far exceeded. If you're interested in this game, play it for the story mode and don't bother with online since it's a bit lacklustre due to Rockstar's lack of care for it. It's fun for a couple of hours but once you realise you've done everything it has to offer, which is rather little, you get bored quickly.

    red dead redemption 2 was a game I stumbled upon in late 2018 , I saw a friend play it then I immediately fell in love with the game graphics details that make the game alive so beautifully detailed, the day after I bought the game in excitement.

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]
