    The art game, the perfection. Breathtaking story, mechanics, graphics, physics, gameplay, world and climat. What can more say. Shoting from every weapon is amazing, animations of reloading in first person camera are masterpiece. The horses are really well done, many breeds any every of them are very diffrent. Story of the game should be used to do movie series and books, i loved it. Cooking, fishing and hunting are huge part of the game but only if we are into it. There is so many types of birds that i can't tell a difrece between them but there is. I loved fishing, catching the special fishes for guy and sending to them to him was really my favorite side mission. I can see this game is going to be timeless and our kids are going to play it and will enjoy it 10 years later.… Expand

    Excelent game. At first I felt it a little bit boring but after some time you start enjoying it a lot. It has a very good story and mechanics. Recomended.

    I’m a really huge movie fan, one of my personal favorite movie’s was Once Upon A Time In America which was directed by the fantastic Sergio Leone who was famous for his Spaghetti Western movies such as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, For A Few Dollars More and so and so. So I was really familiar with the western genre. I played the first Red Dead Redemption in my uncle’s old laptop andI’m a really huge movie fan, one of my personal favorite movie’s was Once Upon A Time In America which was directed by the fantastic Sergio Leone who was famous for his Spaghetti Western movies such as The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, For A Few Dollars More and so and so. So I was really familiar with the western genre. I played the first Red Dead Redemption in my uncle’s old laptop and didn’t really liked it (I wasn’t into games that much back in those days). When Red Dead Redemption 2 came out, I knew it was probably one of the best games that was ever released, but like I said I wasn’t into games that much, so I ignored it but when I got the chance to play it in 2020 December and from the first second to the last I was hooked! RDR2 was if not the best, at least was one of the best 10 games i’ve ever played! RDR2 offers you a large variety of good written characters, a fantastic story and bunch of epic twists and turns.RDR2 has a really huge world and a lot of new environments, it is probably the best open-world experiences that you will ever play and for all to GTA fans that will probably say that “GTA HAS A BETTER OPEN WORLD”, I really like GTA too, but I need to admit because of my passion for the old spaghetti western movies and the epic variety of RDR2’s world, this game has a beauty to it’s open world experience, of course in one hand you have probably the largest game franchise in all of the world: Grand Theft Auto but RDR2 is just magical and feels like something really close to the human soul and don’t get me started on the gameplay and the mechanics because it’s not my place to say a bad word about the rockstar games but RDR2 is really something special, man.Look, there would be some people that would say that RDR2 has one-dimensional characters and a story that’s really repetitive but in my honest opinion they’re all wrong. RDR2 has great character development, a really good story with a bunch of twists and turns and I’m not going to give-away anything of this wonderful magnificent game but the ending is probably one of the best endings i’ve seen in my entire life. I know that i’m not the person you should listen when it’s come to these type of games and if you really think that I’m just hyping this game, go out and play this wonderful game.     Incredible graphics, gameplay is supreme as it offers a huge, vibrant and highly interactive open world. The story is just incredible, With amazing character development and plot points. Would recommend this game to literally everyone and anyone. 10/10

    A bit of a drag near the start but if you stick with it, you will love it, Stellar graphics and especially Voice Acting help it a ton.

    Rockstar puts out the best games possible everytime. I could elaborate for years on what makes this game good but it would be easier to list the bad.
    The online mode is lacking and had been since its launch.
    Thats it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Пожалуй, Rockstar создали одну из величайших игр поколения. Никогда не было такого уделения внимания деталям. Ни в одной игре я не засиживался по 5-6 часов играя в покер, рыбалка, охота. Открытый мир наполнен различными событиями.
    Сюжетная линия за Артура Моргана, пожалуй, это самая красивая история игрового персонажа. Он харизматичен, запоминается, в нём ни чёрного, ни белого. Особенно 4-6 глава, где игра спокойно уделывает любой голливудский блокбастер. А концовка стала ужасно грустной, и та самая музыка из концовки.
    Да музыка тоже достойна похвалы, полностью передаёт ту самую атмосферу Дикого Запада.
    Эпилог за Джона Марстона мне показался немного скучным, но всё же последнее задание не даёт заскучать.
    Да и большинство персонажей игры запоминается, одним сопереживаешь, других ненавидишь. Но к ним нет равнодушия.
    Пожалуй, на текущий момент это лучшая игра, которая выпущена на данный момент    … Expand

    Each chapter of the game introduces you to their world, to the gang, to the end of the west and has an end-of-age background that they are not aware of.

    The game has been accused of being boring, slow, and old missions.

    The game is not boring. From the beginning it starts strong and you meet the villains, already in the first chapter. He takes his time to develop the story that is formed through disjointed missions that form an incredible whole. Not like other games that only go straight to the main thing.

    It is not slow, it is how such a man would move, with realistic physics. If you are used to games like dmc5, bayonetta, etc, it is strange, but it is as it should be in rdr.

    The missions are now more narrative, mimicking linear games but you actually have more options than in other open world games.

    In some missions you can make small decisions such as doing it day or night, the dialogues change depending on whether you do a mission before or another or what you do in it, you can decide if you or a partner attack, etc. So you actually have more decision-making power than other current games.

    The world is the most alive seen in a video game with its random events, i.a, physics, narrative, secondary missions, weather effects, it is the most next gen of this generation.

    And all these details are created, but the game does not point a finger at you like other games that want you to see what they have done for you to see. You can end the game and lose it because you are not at the right time, that makes it real, dynamic, alive, you are not the center of the game, you live in it like any other character.

    Again this saga makes me cry for a character, for a story and also gives us the opportunity to know how everything was just before the first game instead of telling it in a video as other games would. Here you play it, you enjoy it.

    The online may seem scarce compared to gta v but it has had dlc's even in the world situation in which we are.

    Other games with a multiplayer component like gt5 or uncharted had less content and less time of it and there are no complaints. This is not a one-year game, the dlc's will arrive and there is already more content than many online will have in their life    … Expand

    It's every bit as good as the first game, if not better! I love the gameplay, it's insanely beautiful to look at, and the story was endlessly compelling. If you want a top notch western simulator, you can't ask for better than this!

    This game is abhorrent. I played it blindly and the did not include supportive features for people who cant see. My wife left me three days into playthrough and my parents died the next day. This game is cursed. The grammar is so bad i cant even comprehend language anymore. None of the sentences end in full stops. I cant kill children in the game, why even include them then? I couldn't find my house and smartphone in the game, it also had no internet and the cars really break my immersion. Overall, play this game if you want to simulate being tortured by jihad ISIS fighters. 0/10 NSFL.… Expand

    Boring game! Spend most of the time riding. Gunfights are to easy and boring. Missions are completely useless. Slow paced game. Real deception! Don’t play the last of us (1 and 2) and then play this game! You’ll be frustrated. Wasted 20 hours of my life and 30 euros with this game!

A game rated at 97 should be so groundbreaking and awesome - so flawless and polished - whoever made it deserves to be deified.     Gameplay - muito boa, mas em certas partes chega a ser lento por ter a limitação de vc só poder andar, como por exemplo no acampamento, porém isso é mero detalhe. Também achei meio maçante vc ser obrigado a quase sempre ter que andar com o cavalo, o fast travel é bem escasso e dificilmente vc vai usa-lo, creio que isso seja proposital visto que existe a mecânica de vc criar o vinculo comGameplay - muito boa, mas em certas partes chega a ser lento por ter a limitação de vc só poder andar, como por exemplo no acampamento, porém isso é mero detalhe. De resto é tudo otimo, as caçadas, os roubos, os tiroteios, tudo muito bom e gostoso de se jogar.
    História - Otima, gostei muito do desenrolar dela, mas eu achei um pouco lento no inicio, na parte das montanhas, depois que o grupo sai de la, ela flui bem, mas isso é apenas ponto de vista, sei que para alguns o jogo é perfeito do começo ao fim.
    Audio - Os sons ambientes são perfeitos, quando vc ta na mata a noite, da a sensação de estar ali, os animais, a atmosfera, tudo fica muito imersivo, a trilha sonora eu achei perfeita também.

    Overrated. The beginning of the game is really well done. Feels like a good solid story going on, but after a while it starts falling apart. Missions feel disconnected from each other. About 40% of your in game time you spend riding on a stupid horse, there are some very limited and mostly useless fast travel options.     Ok, I've played some more in chapter 4 and it gets way better there, it clearly doesn't deserve 5. Would've raised to 8, but it only gets 7 as I wasn't able to see the last part of the professor quest, due to stupid situation when I was trying to get on coach but instead I threw random dude off his horse who was practically invisible, and after getting released from the prison, the quest never reappeared and the professor vanished.    … Expand

    THE MOST BORING GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED! Rockstar is clearly more interested in what they can do instead of what they should do. Love playing a game to do in game manual labour, and the act of playing this game feels the same. I play games to have fun, not slog through boring quest after boring task. Wish I could get a refund.

    I played this game on PS4 and on PC... it was truly an amazing experience, probably the best one i have ever had in a video game. I'm really looking forward to play it for the 3rd time on PS5 if it gets the next gen update.

You can progress the story, which is beautiful and incredibly well executed, or you can explore the huge open world, do stranger missions, discover and solve the many little Easter eggs, shoot up whole towns, rob stores or stage coaches, hunt legendary animals, fish, and even capture orTo me, RDR2 is amazing, with a beautiful environment and tons of side content and exploring you can do.     The graphics are the best this generation has seen, and it is the details but also the time invested in the textures.

    Combat is made cinematic so it looks better visually, it can be a bit challenging to some players finding this mechanic weak, but for me, it was just right, as I played it with Dualshock on ps4.

    The story is one of the best ever told in story-driven gaming genre, and defiantly the best made by rockstar. You get invested in the characters and the stories they have to tell. Arthur is the best protagonist we could ask for. Let's not speak how great the pace of the story was, especially how R* chose to use chapters to tell the story, it will take me a whole novel to explain how good this game is. If you like a good story game this is defiantly the one for you. You can also choose at any time to switch from third person to first person if this is what you are looking for. A Must Buy. The only minus of the game for me was that the multiplayer was not that great, still cool but did not get me invested in it.

    Starting off with the story, which is undoubtedly one the best written stories in a videogame I've ever witnessed; it's slow in the beginning but it gets much better afterwards and it's an unbelievably immersive and emotional journey with impressive character depth. The gameplay is varied and it feels amazing, however,    It's been 8 years and it's finally here.
    Let's see what they have done!
    Starting off with the story, which is undoubtedly one the best written stories in a videogame I've ever witnessed; it's slow in the beginning but it gets much better afterwards and it's an unbelievably immersive and emotional journey with impressive character depth.
    The gameplay is varied and it feels amazing, however, the shooting mechanics and the controls could've been better; they feel dated, slow and hard to get used to.
    The characters are some of the best I've seen in a videogame. Each one of them has his/her own personality and story, and the acting and dialogue are perfect.
    Also, the attention to detail and realism in this game is absolutely staggering, to the point where they make the game feel slightly tedious at times, but thankfully, it's not a big deal for me.
    The animations are breathtaking, the graphics are among the best I've seen in an Open World game, and even minor things like the horse mechanics are definitely some of the best I've seen in a video game, for sure.
    Lastly, the soundtrack is wonderful and the world itself is both massive and beautiful in every single way, and it's full of great landscapes and locations to discover.

    Red Dead Redemption 2 is one the best videogames I've ever played and while it has some serious flaws that I can definitely see why some people will feel disappointed with the game, everything else aside from these flaws in this game is so goddamn good, it made me fall in love with the game more than most of the games I've played in my life so far.

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]
