    10/10 I don't even play the online. I put hundreds of hours playing and replaying single player. This game cannot be topped, and that's just the way it is.

    The gameplay, despite the many commands, is quite intuitive, and in any case left in the background by the magnificent paintings that could be painted in any landscape, in the city, or on horseback in the middle of nature.
    Faced with such a product, there is little more to say. A game like this cannot be missed by any gamer. The amount of attention given by Rockstar to detail, in all the surrounding characters and locations on the map, is extraordinary. I recommend, if you have the opportunity, to play this title before Red Dead Redemption, to make everything more unpredictable and full of surprises.

    This game broke me as a gamer, it exceeds all expectations, if you haven't played this what exactly are you doing?

    The only bad thing about this game is...the controls and Red Dead online. Rockstar needs to understand that game needs to feel good to play and be easy to play, good lord. As for Online well I personally don't care but it should be supported like GTA V at least.     Overall the Quality of this game welcomes a new standard for Open world games and it runs on a PS4 which is insane.
    I can go on about the detail, cinematics, characters, etc.

    everything felt so real and the story was soooo well written, I usually check Youtube for game walkthrough if the game is too difficult, confusing or frustrating but I didn't do that with RDR2, simply because they put so much effort to make the game playable even for beginner player, it's challenging of course but not in an off putting way !     By far the best characters ever in a game. Never expected myself to care as much as I did for the gang but this game really takes time to make sure you care about everyone. Arthur is also the best protagonist in a video game as well, his character progression is just unreal.

    This the best play station game I have ever played. Every details you have makes it a masterpiece. The story is movie like and cult one. I loved everything, few lags but compared to all the mechanics of time, the living environment... I have no other to express my admiration about this title but DIVINE.

    I remember that I couldn't finish the first RDR because my console broke and I'm playing this one slowly so as not to finish it fast. Is it a 10/10 Great story, graphics, gameplay, everything. Great awesome game.

    It's rare that you find a game that has the crazy amounts of details as this game. You know it's a detailed game when your horses testicles shrink in the cold. The character development in this game is incredible. In the beginning Arthur is a cold and bad man that cared only for his gang. In the end he cares about other, he helps others.     I'm not a big fan of westerns, but I gave the game a chance and I can boldly admit that this is the best game from Rockstar Games studio, mainly known from the Grand Theft Auto series.

    This game is truly a masterpiece. the story is well written and it keeps you on the edge on your seat while making you cry your ass off.     Uma das experiencias mais incríveis que se pode ter, Foi uma das histórias que mais mexeram comigo, isso contando não só jogos eletrônicos, mas sim todas as histórias que já escutei, vi ou vivenciei, Sentir na pele a história de um homem mal se tornando bom é algo inexplicável, palavras não são capaz de descrever os flashbacks que Temos no momento em que Arthur Morgan esta cavalgando em umUma das experiencias mais incríveis que se pode ter, Foi uma das histórias que mais mexeram comigo, isso contando não só jogos eletrônicos, mas sim todas as histórias que já escutei, vi ou vivenciei, Sentir na pele a história de um homem mal se tornando bom é algo inexplicável, palavras não são capaz de descrever os flashbacks que Temos no momento em que Arthur Morgan esta cavalgando em um linda rua arborizada, com o som de Cruel World, relembrando seus erros acertos, momentos bons e ruins que teve. me arrepio só de lembrar disso, e o quão incrivel foi essa experiencia, sem falar na experiencia que vivenciamos de um homem morrendo aos poucos por uma doença incurável na época. Nada pode ser comparado com esse jogo, simplesmente ele nos colocou na pele e nos entregou uma das maiores histórias da história. Sem contar que o fim do jogo não é o fim, pois depois da morte de Arthur meio que começamos um novo jogo, e vivenciamos outra vida, bem mais tranquila e pacata porem gostosa de mais. Só tenho agradecer pelo pessoal da Rockstar por me fazer viver momentos tão maravilhosos na frente de uma TV. Isso sem falar no jogo em si que é uma Obra Prima, Mundo aberto fantástico, com muitas missões para se fazer, centenas de horas de gameplay, sem ser repetitivo, jogabilidade gostosa e fluida, Facilmente poderia ser chamado de GTA no faroeste. Pra mim foi uma injustiça tremenda esse jogo não ter sido o jogo do ano em 2018, pois merecia pois não é só o jogo do ano, mas sim esta entre os 3 maiores jogos da história !!!!… Expand

    While this is the best story in the old west I have ever scene. I could not bring myself to place an 8 let alone a ten. Control problems are rampant seeing the same button to aim your weapon is the same button you have a conversation with. I commend Rockstar in their dedication to realistic gameplay. Anyhow, one of the most realistic games to date, and so far the best story driven game that rockstar has made. Одним сюжетом вы сыты не будете, поэтому на карте можно встретить разных странников, которых в игре около 200. Вы можете им помочь, а можете и пройти мимо, выбор за вами. Помогая вы будете повышать уровень чести, чем он больше, тем лучше. При высокой чести вам будут делать скидки в магазинах, а это очень приятный бонус.

    Best value for money of any game I played. I only played the story once because it's to sad, but I love to just immerse myself in the huge game world as John, as there are may things to do after the story. Runs well on PS4.

The gang was way too big for my taste. John Marston was handled terribly. Arthur was a cool character. Landscape and map is stunning, albeit unrealistic in certain ways, as it is essentially a miniature USA, wile the original game was just one, big desert, which made more sense. The ‘survival’ mechanics are shallow and unnecessary. Same with the camp mechanics and camp donations. Police have eyes everywhere, somehow, and it’s impossible to stay hidden or avid them no matter how secluded you are. Rockstar, it’s the 1800s! The way John reminisces about his past in RDR1 does not line up well with what happens in this story. John almost seems like a character carrying the same importance as Sean, a minor character, and the unnecessary comedic relief. Everything was wrong about John; down to his character model. He looks like Arthur Jr., lol. This game strives for realism, but only accomplishes it in certain regards, ans completely fails in other, making the game unrealistic in general.

    Overall, decent game, with beautiful vistas and surroundings, stale and tedious gameplay, outdated game design, a redundant overflow of characters, an initially gripping, but eventually uninspired, tedious and repetitive story.    … Expand

    It is a game that would have been much better without the meaningless and extended scenes involving the dutch character. Incredible animation and texture details, open world that feels endless, can only be disgraced with such a bad scenario. The fact that it can give so much pleasure despite all this nonsense really upsets me because of the wasted potential. YOU COULD BE 10 OUT OF 10...

    This game is beautiful! Graphics and thr map are amazing and the story is really good. I had so much fun exploring the map and hunting differernt animals. Only complain is a bit old game design recarding the missions. And I only speak for the story mode. The online isn't good.

    Red Dead Redemption 2 is the best game in the world for me, the physics engine is great, the hitting feeling is legendary, it has everything you could want from a cowboy game. The story is very touching, without a doubt the best work ROCKSTAR has done.

    Red dead redemption 2 is, hands down, one of the best games I have ever played (actually, the best in my opinion) but also one of the best westerns I have ever watched.

    Came for the attention to detail and easter-eggs, stayed for the story and the characters. Arthur Morgan is not a simple videogame character, he has convinced me throughout 200 hours that he is a real person with fears and ambitions, a glorious past behind him and a destiny ahead. First game where i got 100%. This is a masterpiece.

The story contains six chapters where you play as Arthur Morgan and two additional smaller epilogue chapters, where a few years after Arthur's death you play as John Marston from the original Red Dead Redemption game.     10/10 game! The storyline, graphics, details and the characters were amazing. You can feel like your in the game while your playing the game and that is why it's one of the best games of all time. Interactions with other camp members, npc's were awesome. Play it if you haven't.

Instead of jacking up the momentum of your run while changing directions, you run side to side when moving the thumb stick. That’s what I call a ******* game. Gunplay is astounding, with guns like revolvers, you actually have to click the hammer down to cock the gun (or I think that’s what that part is called). You also get to hip fire a revolver like cowboys did. Horse riding is definitely a bit slow but that’s coming from a car riding gta player. I guess the realism can be a bit slow sometimes to, but I just can’t help but give this game a 10. Oh yeah, also story are characters are astounding.… Expand

    My biggest wish for the game would be the option to complete a mission in several ways, at times I would've loved to sneak up on my opponents Assassin's Creed-style or have the freedom of movement from the said game and climb buildings and run over roofs.

    What I love about this game is that it feels like the adult brother of GTA, without the corny jokes that, I feel, I have heard way too often. The game is far grittier and all actions have consequences.

    The low-point of the game is the epilogue. It might help complete the story that leads to Red Dead Redemption, but from a player's perspective, it's been frustrating and boring.    … Expand

    RDR2 is by far one of my favourite games, I've played it more three times over and still feel emotional at the storyline which is often a rarity for me. The world is spectacular and, despite being 4 years old, still feels like one of the most graphically impressive games on the market. The characters, even down to the NPCs walking on the street, are crafted with excellent detail and becomeRDR2 is by far one of my favourite games, I've played it more three times over and still feel emotional at the storyline which is often a rarity for me. The world is spectacular and, despite being 4 years old, still feels like one of the most graphically impressive games on the market. The characters, even down to the NPCs walking on the street, are crafted with excellent detail and become essential to the immersion of the game. Travelling from the wealthy part of an area to a poor area sees the characters transform in both appearance and approach. The world feels living and breathing in a way that many games miss the mark of. While RDR2's story is incredible, its finest moments are in this living world. Sure, you could go to the nearest main story quest marker and continue your journey, but why not investigate a campsite you can see on the horizon, or rescue a kidnapped woman, or free a prisoner from the clutches of the law? Why not cook the deer you just shot and skinned, or go visit the local inn and have a meal & a bath - even get drunk and have a bust-up with one of the locals? I probably sank at least 10 hours playing cards in my first playthrough, and several hundreds of dollars sampling local cuisine and alcohol.

    At times, progressing in the game's story can be a bit of a chore compared to just existing in the world. The story missions are often fun and engaging, but at times can become tedious. Rockstar does well to spruce up the gameplay often and not get engaged in too many recycled ideas, but sometimes it falls flat. In a game that is so committed to choice, the story missions can be too restrictive in their solutions and at times their mechanics. None of this is ever game-ruining, and rarely if ever stops the fun, but I was left wishing there had been a few more choices in the major missions given the side quests are so often filled with options of approach and ending. Part of this, of course, is due to the heavily story-driven narrative of RDR2 which requires you to make certain questionable decisions or pathways to drive you along the right path. And for that, I was generally happy to sacrifice choice, even if I disagreed with the path I was forced to take and felt it disingenuous to the Arthur Morgan I'd been given so much freedom to craft. Luckily, the story is so well written and executed, it makes it worth it.

    One of RDR2's biggest flaws is its honour system. it is easily exploitable and sometimes frustratingly broken. Decisions that seem obviously the moral choice end in you getting low honour, sometimes even just bearing witness to something you don't have time to respond to seems to dole out low honour. If you're aiming for the good ending (which I highly recommend for the first playthrough), the inescapable honour system can take some of the joy out of the game where you can otherwise do pretty much anything you want, from robbing carts to kidnapping people and letting them get run over by trains. Luckily it's fairly easy to get your honour back up, but the arbitrary system of measurement can break the immersion at times - no amount of saying 'howdy' to locals and feeding chickens can realistically provide penance from the triple homicide committed five minutes before.

    All this being said, Arthur Morgan is a compelling protagonist with companions who both warm and break your heart over time. You build plenty of meaningful relationships with others throughout the story and the payoffs for these relationships almost always feel immensely satisfying (and often very sad). The bond you build with Arthur, who changes depending on how you play the game, is the highlight of the game. The gunplay is good, the option to grind is there, the open world is spectacular. Rockstar hit the mark on nearly every aspect of RDR2 and built upon the already excellent storyline & world that RDR offered before it.    … Expand
