Ultimately, this makeshift Han Solo simulator isn’t as fun as it initially felt like. Graphics are superb, the music is just to die for and Juno is the kind of rough and raw heroine the gaming world really needs more – overall, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is a game I would like to love more. In the long run, though, the effort needed to pull off the revenge feels more tedious than it should.

It’s a dogfighting game where you endlessly skip docking, autopilot, and Jump scenes. I can’t begin to describe how annoying that is - all gameplay videos fail to capture this. Music is as forgettable and repetitive as the first one, but with a larger soundtrack. Graphics are what’s expected from an Indy game - not horrible though. Ship selection is abysmal and missions get repetitive as well, very quickly. Story is...so boring and doesn’t grab you at all. The first game is miles better, and on PS Now. Do yourself a favor and play that instead. Don’t invest in this one, or wait for a $5 sell. Full Review »

The interior cockpit view is horribly claustrophobic and so I am forced to play in 3rd person perspective. Game structure is similar to the first game, repetitive missions that get boring quite quickly. It’s just not much fun if I’m honest. Full Review »

Has beautiful explosions. Unique and chill PS4 game. Sure, like most games, it can get repetitive...but is fine as long as you don't burn yourself out with 3 hour or more gaming sessions. I play for about an hour an evening and love it. Just cruising around mining, advancing the main missions, killing a pirate or two. Upgrading my ship. It's great. I think people mistake the beautiful design and look for a AAA game and forget that this is made by a very small team (~5 people). You are just not going to have the variety of gameplay as the bigger titles. For me...I love the simplicity and beauty of this game. It is real easy to role-play my firefly fantasies. Full Review »
