There’s plenty to like about Minecraft Dungeons, and at £15.99 on PSN it’s terrific value for a game that you and your kids could beat in a weekend. It’s not especially difficult with four players and the light-hearted nature of it all ensures Minecraft fans will find plenty to love. It’s just a shame there’s no sign of the Minecraft’s primary mechanic, which would have been a great addition to the overall experience. It’s a good laugh and as is so often with co-op games, you’ll get the most out of it with your pals/family.

The epitome of good things coming in small packages, Minecraft Dungeons is simple, wholesome fun.

Just as expected, Minecraft: Dungeons is a wholesome character building game that one might be tempted to tag as a ‘cute Diablo’. Don’t fool yourself though —higher difficulties and bosses are indeed challenging, and you’re forced to think and act swiftly. Fortunately, Mojang lets you build your own hero on the fly, just by swapping their equipment, so you’ll end up trying tons of fun new stuff very often.

It's not THAT fun but just enough to keep you playing!

If you have young kids you want to progressively initiate to RPG/Dungeon games, that is a nice first step.

I have to admitt that even I find it some kind of fun!
I love heading into quests much MUCH over my level range just for the thrill of it.

No overly complicated skill trees, level-up choices, every "enchant" you spend are given back to you when you switch gear, allowing to reinvest on fresh gear upgrades.

Had it been a full MSRP game of 60$, that would've been thievery but for ±20$ that makes sense!
I wouldn't figure myself playing this for years but once every now and then with the kids, it's worth it!

So first off its kinda addicting to say the least, you can spend hours grinding so you can get better weapons and loot, and collecting emeralds. Next if you have Ps Plus or xbox live you can play with friends and you can also just play with someone at home with an extra controller! The games straight foward so you wont have a hard time understanding what is going on or how do you do that. I also forgot to mention that its very fun to play with friends and by yourself!

So in total if you are bored and got $20.00 plus tax to spare, got get yourself this game and get gaming!

I gave it 1 point for the amount of minutes I played with any semblance of enjoyment. Really awful ARPG and if I was picking one for a childI gave it 1 point for the amount of minutes I played with any semblance of enjoyment. Really awful ARPG and if I was picking one for a child I'd try Torchlight 2 first pretty kid friendly. This game has nothing to offer and does entire genre a diservice,if this was your first arpg you probably would forever hate the genre. I guess if You hate your kids get them this.

    TLDR: trash
