    Relatively more of the same and the story is weaker, the game-play is still great. The game is atmospheric and kept me playing till the end. Still great.

    An absolute pleasure to play! Whilst not being as stealthy as the previous game Metro: 2033, Metro: Last Light still has it's immersive weather engine, game mechanics, indepth story line & dialouge. Metro LL was a pleasure to play in 2020 & I can't wait to get into the 3rd installment, Metro: Exodus.

    Just this minute finished it, an amazing sequel - continues one of the best stories to ever hit a video game. graphics are really good on the redux, everything is improved to be honest, would recommend to any video game fan, seriously feels like your playing the book. 9.10

    This is a good game for the players who doesn't played this game in the old-gen, and it have some good changes and this is a really good port, amazing game.

    Pretty good! The game had a solid story and some really great set piece battles, as well as a bit more level variety than the first game. I still think that the Metro games are so much better when fighting humans and the mutants are all incredibly annoying. There are still a few sections of trying to shoot seven mutant monkeys at once while they constantly pummel you to death, but it'sPretty good!     If you liked Metro 2033, be sure to pick this one up too as it is mostly more of the same. It surpasses its predecessor in some ways, such as the visuals and exploration opportunities. However, the emphasis is more on action and less on survival horror this time around, so the atmosphere is not nearly as tense or as impressive as in Metro 2033. If you're looking for horror, strongerIf you liked Metro 2033, be sure to pick this one up too as it is mostly more of the same.     For those who don't know, this game is continuation of Metro 2033, so please read my 2033 review to understand where I am coming from, so here is my review:
    Last light is the Continuation of 2033 and with better characters, in my opinion, especially Khan and Pavel.     A big improvement on the last one and one of the best games that came out in 2013. What the biggest improvements is the dude you No Longer slowly walking behind people hav the game. And the way the dark one interface with the story and makes it more emotional trying to show The Human still have right to exist.     Metro: Last Light Redux doesn't change much of its foundations when comparing to its original version. The graphics are improved, framerate is great and all the dlc is bundled in to add some extra hours in for players, but what was already established in the original (aside from the Ranger Mode DLC controversy) was already great to start with.     same rating as 2033 even though it's a tad bit worse in some ways. The reason why I give it the same rating as the first one, is because of it's controls, way smoother than the first one and the graphics improved at least a bit. For me the worst one out of the series for the simple fact that it is more action based than horror based, which is why I liked 2033 so much.....hell, even    8/10

    Frankly, i liked Metro 2033 better. Clearly Last Light's hand holding and pacing is influenced by the domination of Call of Duty during the 2010's, which doesn't do it good. Unnecessary exposition which is forced upon you like grabbing a jumping pool damages the experience more than improve it, as it takes away the immersion. The big enemy of this one, the russians, are also not a very intimidating enemy.

    In Metro 2033, levels would be switching between mutants and human enemies. However in Last Light, the early levels are mostly human enemies one after another, which takes away a lot of enjoyment. Once you get past this though the game gets back to mutants, which are the more interesting levels.

    The story starts a bit stiff, with a unsatisfying tour through Nazi and Russian levels. After this the atmospheric mutant levels finally pick up though, and it feels instantly familiar to Metro 2033. The story focusses this time on the russians and the last surviving dark one, which doesn't really interest me. However, the good ending of this game was well written and makes up for a lot of stuff.

    Gunplay is like metro 2033, with this time some more weapons and equipment. However, it might as well could have stayed the same as with Metro 2033 as the new guns don't impress a lot.

    Also there are boss fights now! And they are quite underwhelming and unnecessary. This really has no place in these games.

    All and all an excellent game, but not as good as Metro 2033 in my opinion. Bigger levels and more handholding don't improve the experience. I give it an 8/10.    … Expand

    Great freaking game! The atmosphere and story are already enough to make it good but the gameplay is surprisingly fun as well!(it is slightly outdated) I loved the action sequences and felt like a badass when I pulled off stealthy parts. The combination of being stealthy in the tunnels and fighting for my life on the surface, trying to conserve supplies, kept things constantly fun andGreat freaking game! The atmosphere and story are already enough to make it good but the gameplay is surprisingly fun as well!(it is slightly outdated) I loved the action sequences and felt like a badass when I pulled off stealthy parts.     fun and exciting game. I played metro exodus and loved that game so i came back to the older metro games and im happy i did.

    Лучше второй части. Как ни странно, оказуаливание пошло на пользу и играть было очень весело. Некоторые миссии где можно походить поиследовать ваще топ.

    Играл только в переиздание. Играется лучше, чем 2033. Очень хорошо подтянули стрельбу, миссии очень контрастные и интересные. Сюжет интригует,но, как по мне слабее, чем в 2033.Первая часть более личная что-ли. Атмосфера все так же поражает, как и внимание к мелочам. Чего стоит только миссия "Регина". Шикарная игра, всем рекомендую.Играл только в переиздание. Играется лучше, чем 2033. Очень хорошо подтянули стрельбу, миссии очень контрастные и интересные. Сюжет интригует,но, как по мне слабее, чем в 2033.Первая часть более личная что-ли. Атмосфера все так же поражает, как и внимание к мелочам. Чего стоит только миссия "Регина". I strongly recommend playing in Survival/Ranger difficulty, the shootings become really intense and I believe it suits this game like a glove and it ends up being much more immersive.
