    Metro last light Redux for the playstation 4 is the best console version of Metro last light out. The game runs very smooth, the game is very detailed and the game also has a great story that it tells mostly in game.

    Эта часть поприятнее предыдущей. Даже можно поиграть. Но косяков здесь все равно пруд пруди. И ох уж эти русские актеры озвучки :)

    Хорошо: + Патронов стало сильно больше. Прям можно играть + В уровнях появились цвета (типа травы на поверхности). Да и Москвы больше показали. Отдельный респект за Мавзолей + Сцены в Д6 и у Красных и в Рейхе смешные. Клювка, но развлекательная. + Сцен в    Эта часть поприятнее предыдущей. Даже можно поиграть. Но косяков здесь все равно пруд пруди. И ох уж эти русские актеры озвучки :)

    Хорошо:

    + Сцен в одинаковых тоннелях стало поменьше. А станции метро стали более обжитыми и похожими на прототипы
    + Сцена с эпидемией в разгар настоящей эпидемии коронавируса -- страшная.

    Плохо:
    - Сюжет дикий. И этот главный клиффхэнгер с Черными -- ни о чем.
    - Русские голоса -- это тоска. Сильнее всех досталось Ане. Прям невозможно слушать.
    - Патронов все еще меньше чем нужно. Но это полбеды. Хуже всего с фильтрами. Когда умираешь на запутанных уровнях из-за них -- это жутко бесит. И ничего не добавляет к геймплею.
    - Дизайн уровней бывает дико бесячий. Я все время не мог понять, куда идти или лезть. Активные объекты не подсвечиваются и не сделаны красиво как в Uncharted. В итоге каждый второй уровень фрустрация от косяков геймдизайнеров.
    - Ну и в целом, камеру часто забирают у игрока. И начинаются неинтерактивные мультики от первого лица. Ну такое...    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 6/10. A promising start leads to disappointment. The beginning sets up political intrigue with the Nazis and Reds but the Nazis and Hansa become irrelevant and the plot becomes very simple and lame. Anna is not fleshed out at all. There is so little meaningful dialogue after the beginning that you being a silent protagonist (still a poor choice here) hurts that much more. The amount of time we spend fighting nameless people and skulking through tunnels is annoying. The plot doesn't drive you well here. It's just "I must find the dark one" over and over. That time you spend away from everyone is time that should have been spent fleshing out the plot. Learning stuff through flashbacks wasn't enough and it wasn't a satisfying way to learn it. And it was a lot of repetitive/expected stuff. The monster bosses were very simple and lame. The morality system was terrible this time. I need to spare the Nazis and Red authoritarians who would slaughter thousands because killing is bad no matter what? Grow up.… Expand

    Finally played this and Metro:2033 in 2021 when I'd run out of PS4 games to play, and expected an ordinary PS3-era slice of ho-hum fps.

    Damn, was I wrong.

    This is not only a great game considering its age, it's a great PS4 game full-stop.

    Loved it, and would have preferred to give a 7.5. Played from start to finish, and got it so cheaply from the ps store I feel a bit guilty.

    The second part of this series made a big step from the first part in my opinion.
    At the start of the Last Light i thought that it was still the same game with little upgrades, but the dipper i went thorught the game, the more i understood the difference between both parts.
    Yes, technically it stayed almost the same - the weapon, the mechanics, the enemies. But the whole plot settings,    The second part of this series made a big step from the first part in my opinion.

    Yes, technically it stayed almost the same - the weapon, the mechanics, the enemies. But the whole plot settings, the way the team added a lot of new story things in the game itself. It was way more and more interesting to play the Last Light for me and I was really waiting for the dialogues and the story-telling parts after the fights.
    The main advantage of the game for me was the part of the game when we met one of the main characters here - after that momen the game gave me a lot of new senses and thoughts and I think that it is a great characteristi for every game or for every other form of art.

    There are still bad sides of the series - one-type gameplay, very similar characters ( I really often mixed them up in my head) and it is still rather old to play it in 2022.

    In any case, the game left a good and holistic impression.    … Expand

    Does Last Light improve on it's predecessor's problems? Yeah, sure. Is the story better? Certainly. Does the game still feel like AA game that really want's to trick you into believing that it's AAA? You betcha. Good but not great is the perfect description for Last Light.
