    The best game trilogy of all time with moderately notable improvements to the last two games and very solid improvements to the first game which needed a face-lift the most, and makes it much more playable in modern times.

    Bioware has come through for fans with this Legendary Edition of the best video game trilogy of all time. They greatly improved #1, and #2 & #3 never looked better. It’s great to have all of the DLC included. It was a great experience playing all of them back-to-back, did it in 6 days. I didn’t realize how much I missed these games. This is a great collection- that includes ME2- my 2ndBioware has come through for fans with this Legendary Edition of the best video game trilogy of all time. They greatly improved #1, and #2 & #3 never looked better. It’s great to have all of the DLC included. It was a great experience playing all of them back-to-back, did it in 6 days. I didn’t realize how much I missed these games. This is a great collection- that includes ME2- my 2nd highest rated game of all time!

    Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition

    This is the first time I’ve played the full game of ME1 in 2021- but I’ve played #2 & 3 many times in the past. I liked #1 quite a bit, although it’s a bit short. There’s only a few main missions. It definitely adds to the Mass Effect story. There’s a bit too much time in the Mako, and too many elevators. The gameplay is much improved to be close to #2 & #3. The graphics are better- except human’s faces in cutscenes. Overall I liked it pretty well- it was better than I thought. I will play it again the next time I want to experience the Mass Effect world.

    Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition

    Simply put- ME2 is one of the best games of all time! In my top 5. Shepard is at her best in this one. It’s great building your crew and going on loyalty missions for them. There’s such a wide variety of missions- never gets boring. It’s a great action rpg. There are great boss fights- but the worst enemies for me are those darn husks! It builds up to a great ending mission- although it stinks losing some of your crew. The 4k graphics look great- especially in several face models like Thane. It builds well off of ME1 and leads well to ME3. It’s the best in the series by far- but you should play all 3 games to truly experience the ME world. I’ve played this many, many times- and I highly recommend!

    Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition

    ME3 ends the trilogy on a good note. Although I like ME2 better, there’s a lot going for #3. It has more action than the other two games. It also has many improvements- such as graphics, gameplay, and little elements like being able to use the omnitool to bypass doors, jumping across gaps, etc. Bioware was at its height of game making with this one. I must say the characters in #2 were much better except for Liara. Most people don’t like the ending, but I don’t mind it- especially with the extended cut. This rounds out the Legendary Edition well- and it’s a must to play all three games.    … Expand

    El juego como cabía de esperar es y sigue siendo una obra maestra de los videojuegos ahora traída remasterizada. Lo he jugado con la retrocompatibilidad de PS5 y la verdad 0 problemas. Todo fluido y perfecto. Por supuesto sobre todo en Mass Effect 1 se nota que el juego es "viejo" la remasterización le sienta bien en términos generales aumenta la resolución y mejora sombras eEl juego como cabía de esperar es y sigue siendo una obra maestra de los videojuegos ahora traída remasterizada. Lo he jugado con la retrocompatibilidad de PS5 y la verdad 0 problemas. Todo fluido y perfecto. Por supuesto sobre todo en Mass Effect 1 se nota que el juego es "viejo" la remasterización le sienta bien en términos generales aumenta la resolución y mejora sombras e iluminaciones. Lo importante de este juego es sin duda su historia y su acción desenfrenada con unos controles que da gusto manejar. No tiene (ni nunca tuvo) doblaje al castellano y ese siempre fue mi mayor punto negativo en un juego donde la historia es tan fundamental y donde los personajes te hablan en medio de la batalla y no es posible leer nada mientras te esfuerzas en no morir. En su día pensaba que este juego era de 9 hoy le pongo la misma nota porque es una reedición si bien buena no es perfecta, no se hasta que punto se podía haber mejorado más pero tampoco noto unas diferencias que me hagan volverme loco y la falta de doblaje sigue molestándome mucho. Como siempre he apoyado este juego día 1 con mi compra y volveré a apoyar a la saga cuando salga el próximo Mass Effect… Expand

    This is my first time playing mass effect (1-3) and i personally think the gameplay kinda sucks. It is too easy, sometimes clunky and skills are in all games the same (with the addition of a few skills and weapons). But I still give this game a 10 for the amazing story. I had heard the story was good but playing it for myself I find it amazing. Now I see why Andromeda was kinda bad in comparison..

    As it is, it's a great deal. Most Mass Effect fans, (myself included) never purchased the dlc. Buying all of the DLC from the original games, together, would be the same, if not more money, completely disregarding the 4K, enhanced visuals, better framerates, and a better graphical quality    I get it, the Russian dub is bad.     The main selling point of the franchise is the many improvements made to the outdated Mass Effect 1. Now, are these changes drastic? Yes. Is the combat better than 2 and 3? Hell no.

    Adding on the absurd amount of achievements that can be reached, (for large pools of points) this collection is amazing for returning fans, and new ones alike.

    Even if you've recently played the games, it's still worth the $50-$60USD for the many improvements.

    This is how a remaster should be made, and other companies ought to be ashamed for full priced remasters months after the game's release. You know who I'm talking about.    … Expand

    Este juego esta siendo mas de lo que me esperaba. El remaster que hicieron esta muy bueno y el juego aunque tiene bugs, yo los he sufrido en PS5 no es una fiesta de ellos. Los graficos mejoran bastante, el gameplay, todo esta tan bien remasterizado que vale los 60 dolares. Esta es mi primera vez jugando un Mass Effect(apenas voy por el uno) y la historia es lo mejor que he visto hastaEste juego esta siendo mas de lo que me esperaba.     I'm from Belgium and the game does not have Dutch voice acting with Flemisch subtitles. And the subtitles are in white and I want them in light green. How dare you, bioware ! The gaming market in Belgium is one of the largest of the Benelux. Shame on you ! Oh, and otherwise.... great game :-)

Не буду оригинальным, это неотключаемая русская озвучка в первой части Mass effect. Я с удовольствием поставлю крепкую десятку, но лишь после того, как будет реализована возможность выбора оригинальной озвучки и русскихЗамечательная игра, прекрасная трилогия! В ней нравится абсолютно все, даже смотря на очень неоднозначный финал Mass effect 3. Но во всем прекрасном есть лодка дёгтя.     This is a Mass Effect fan’s dream. I played through the original trilogy years ago, so I wanted to play through it all again.
    The improvements made to ME1 are night and day, made what was an already enjoyable experience even better. Itching to play ME2 once I platinum ME1!

    Bioware did an excellent job remastering an excellent trilogy and bringing it to the current generation of consoles. This is a masterpiece and if you haven't played it already you are in for a treat.

It still runs in Unreal Engine 3 and not 4 like Andromeda but I think that’s for the best as Character models in that engine looked oddly clay-like. The Additional polygons on characters give the added depth toThis remaster is great, it never billed itself as a remake so I won’t unfairly judge it against that expectation. The Additional polygons on characters give the added depth to character models without drastically changing their in game appearance. As far as the story and gameplay goes ME1 gameplay is more i. Line with ME2 and 3 but still comes across as different enough that the game still seems substantially different in the gameplay department. There may be technical limitations with this but it doesn’t make the game unplayable. Actually ME1’s improvements make it much more approachable. many years ago I rushed my way through ME1 after playing ME2 for the story, leaving most side missions and dlc untouched simply because the game was not as enjoyable to play as ME2. The gameplay is far more enjoyable and less clunky lot and with this remastered I find myself surveying all the planets, doing all the side missions and dlc as the experience os not as frustrating even though gameplay remains quite dissimilar from ME2 and ME3. In this regard I can see how BioWare succeeded , this was never meant to be a remake or a reimagining of Mass Effect it was to make the entire series as a whole
    More cohesive graphically , artistically, and even in regards to the story, ME1 no longer feels like the black sheep of the bunch but part of an exciting trilogy that will lure folks like me who just played ME1 “because they had to to get the ending they wanted in ME3” with its better pacing, leveling system
    and gunplay. There is much less to be said about ME2 and 3 remasters, they look amazing, they were not bad looking games and aged better than ME1, that said the 4K textures are still impressive as well and some stylistic changes here and there round out the changes. All in all it’s a solid package for $59.99. Judging this as a remaster I give it a 9/10, it fails to get a perfect score because of a game breaking bug on Luna, where if your biotic power accidentally hits a closed door in the final facility Shepard will not be able to interact with anything until the game is relaunched. If BioWare fixes this in a coming update I will revisit my review.    … Expand

    Excellent remaster, if you're a fan of the original releases then you will love this entry. ME1 changes are amazing and paired with all the DLC you are getting over 100 hours of content in one package. All in 4k/60FPS if using a next-gen console. Amazing!

Не слушайте тех нытиков, которые ноют по поводу озвучки первой части, да нет возможности сменить озвучку, но игру это не портит!     I love Mass Effect and I go through a whole play through every few years. This version will be the one I run with from now on. Its got everything (except Pinnacle Station and Multiplayer) included and so many improvements from textures, lighting, combat, vehicles, cover, and load times. Right now, I am starting ME3 and I am having so much damn fun. This game is great....unless you speakI love Mass Effect and I go through a whole play through every few years.     To play these games in such a polished state, with 4K HDR, is a privilege. I loved these games back in the day and I never thought I'd be playing them like this. Not much else to say. These games are masterpieces and with the enhancements and visual improvements, they've knocked it out of the park. You can't ask for much more...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played all the games back in 2007-2012 and even named my daughter that was born 2011 Tali. That is how much I loved Mass Effect after having spent hundred of hours in ME and ME2. Then came ME3 and it sucked so hard that I did not touch the games at all again until now with the legendary edition.

    So how different do I think the game(s) feel now almost ten years later? Well, ME and ME2 are still good games and even still great from a story perspective but ME3 is still there to ruin the entire experience. Yes, there is a huge numbers of DLC included and they are supposed to make the last entry of this series more palatable than it was when I finished it back in 2012. But ME3 is still the retarded sibling to the great ME and the perhaps even greater ME2.

    ME3 lacks dialog choices and I feel like I am watching a movie with some exciting moments in it but my Shepard is more or less railroaded and does not feel like my Shepard at all in ME3, it feels like he just became a shadow or and imposter of my Shepard that I played through ME and ME2. This makes the game very disappointing despite the improvements to the combat mechanic that now with the Legendary edition is actually ok even in the first ME.

    The story that started out as a space opera that was all about hope and victory against impossible odds, not unlike the original Star Wars trilogy, sadly turns into an artsy fartsy attempt at being edgy in the last installment. ME3 is a very beautiful shell but a shell nonetheless and a very empty shell once opened at that. The ending of the different story lines is deeply unsatisfactory and the ending(s) of the ME3 and the entire saga is just as bad now as it was almost ten years ago, I would dare say it is even worse now as it feels so bad despite me being older and not as emotional as I was when I was younger.

    So my recommendation to all players that love the ME-universe is this, play the first two installments and consider Shepard’s and his crew and love interest story finished after ME2. By killing sovereign and destroying the collector base you made the reaper invasion impossible and you stopped the cycle and Shepard and his friends can take a well deserved vacation and Shepard and his love interest can live happily ever after. Because what is so wrong with a happy ending? There is too much sadness and doom and gloom in the world right now and even back in 2012 and I still feel that Shepard and the players that loves or loved this franchise deserved to be able to get a happy ending to the epic story but instead we got the equivalent to Luke Skywalker committing suicide by flinging himself down the reactor pit instead of fighting the impossible odds and defeating the Empire.

    I know that games and stories where the main protagonists ends up winning is not “modern” but I still really believe that one of the colored endings should have given just that.

    ME1 10 points and ME2 10 points but the disappointment that is ME3 really sours the entire dish as the landing of the entire trilogy actually matters a lot, it is not all about the journey because the destination is also important. And this journey felt like flying first class just to crash land in taliban controlled parts of Afghanistan. So I cannot in good conscience give this package more than 5 because of the terrible last installment and the even worse ending to what could have been the best sci fi and space opera experience of the **** century.    … Expand

    They did the bare minimum to resell you these games again. You are better off replaying the classics with mods than giving EA more of your money. They never learn.

    the story is really really good, some of the best i would say, the charisma of the characters, its unique enviroments, the politics, the depth and atention to deatail still beats some actual games, the gameplay is fun, sometimes frustrating because of the bugs, in ME1 many times the mako wont start or it will, but wont move at all except for the wheels and then will teleport to other place, sometimes i had to reload the game because the AI it got stuck
    ME2 also has bugs related to the companions of shepard, that will fly or move randomly arround mid air, some missions also have to be reloaded because the things that supose to happen wont, hope they'll patch this issues as soon as posible.

    but except that, it is pleasing to see this trilogy updated to the "current gen" it is a must buy if you havent played this masterpiece, it has all the DLCs and it is one of those games that worth $60 for the replayability, the long campaign, the fun that the 3 games has to offer, I already have arround 50+ hours in 1 & 2, and are great!    … Expand

    Autosave glitch is BACK!!! Well this is disappointing, it's my first time writing a review but I feel I had to because well when you remaster a game and leave a game breaking bug, people need to know. Autosave glitch is BACK and yes you lose all you credits and fuel and basically can't play the game anymore on that current save. Enjoy.

    Mass Effect: Legendary Edition offers the comprehensive experience that the whole trilogy rightfully deserves. Thanks to this, you can easily forgive it all sorts of small ailments associated with the age of individual parts and you drown dozens of unforgettable hours in the game without blinking an eye. Yes, even after such a long time.

    The Mass Effect Trilogy is incredible. The overarching story and its characters are excellent, and each one was better than the last. I wasn’t sure if these games would hold up in the current environment, but they absolutely do. They’re still worth playing, I recommend them, and to anyone about to jump in — play at a slower pace. Do not rush through. Explore everything they have to offer and relish in their richness.
