Sep 6, 2020Marvels Avengers is a mess of a game. On one side we got a great story with great characters, on the other we have boring and repetitive gameplay. The rpg mechanics of this game doesnt work. They could have done so much with the Avengers IP but instead they did this buggy, incoherent mess.

Sep 6, 2020Good game, nice story and combat game play. I the characters are well written and charismatic

Sep 6, 2020It has great graphics. However, it is nothing more than a mobile game. Don’t waste your money. I am sure it will be free to play in a year.

Sep 6, 2020Okay, it doesn't compare to Batman Arkhan and Maver Spider-Man, but it's not a bad game. His campaign is short, there are missions that are very repetitive, but there are legal missions and the story is good. It's not a big game, but it's entertaining.

Sep 6, 2020The idea was appealing, the execution reminds me of an iOS game. Square Enix should deliver better game.

Sep 6, 2020Remember when they said it wouldn't have mtx at e3 2018? Well, it does now, and in the most senseless ways possible. They jammed live service into a game that doesn't fit the model at all. Congrats, Square.

Sep 6, 2020Destiny/Anthem/Ghost Recon/ Warframe again why is every game a loot shooter trying to make more money on people? This has so much potential, but has so many flaws. Wish Crystal Dynamics just stuck to Tomb Raider.
-
Sep 6, 2020Repetitive same thing in same places over and over. And the stupid stand on one spot missions are so stupid. Should not be in the same breath as marvels spider man game!
-
Sep 6, 2020Fun, realy fun, for someone that played marvel Nemesis rise of imperfects, the iron man games, captain america movie game, without a doubt best cap, iron man, thor game, hulk no, ultimate destruction was great, sad to see lot of people passing the game because of review bombing and opinion, great campaign, some technical problems with voice but nothing game breaking,
-
Sep 6, 2020Trashy game full of repetition. Don’t waste your $ on this garbage. The only way this game is worth wasting time is if it’s free. It’s trash.

Sep 6, 2020Its good but frame rate needs to be better and when i played things keeped on popin in and popin out
-
Sep 6, 2020A fine experience overall, but there are so many bugs (like enemies that get stuck inside the walls and companions that don’t fight) that make it difficult to fully enjoy the game.

CD-ActionNov 16, 2020It could’ve been a great single player title. The publisher chose to go down the game as a service path though, and those who prefer to play solo need to tackle run-of-the-mill co-op missions. The multiplayer on the other hand is messy, chaotic and in the long run boring. When the developers manage to fix the most pressing bugs and find a way to bring more variety to co-op, this might become a solid game. Right now, I can only recommend it to the biggest fans of the Avengers. [11/2020, p.26]

Nov 2, 2020This is the perfect example of "Games as a Service" done right. Marvel's Avengers offers up a superb campaign story to play through that is promised to be expanded on in the future. The gameplay may be repetitive, but it includes just enough to keep players interested and invested in the endgame content that is available now to keep this game going until the next step in its roadmap. The possibilities and potential in the future here are hugely exciting.

Nov 1, 2020There have been plenty of moments during my time with Marvel's Avengers where I’ve genuinely had a great time. But this game keeps finding ways to drag itself down- at times it almost feels like it goes out of its way to do so. There’s just so much here that I can’t overlook, no matter how hard I may try. An unnecessary and broken loot system, a litany of horrible technical issues, uninspired and one-note mission design, and a story that fails just as much as it succeeds- it doesn’t matter how mindlessly fun the combat is, it isn't enough to overcome such a heavy list of problems.
