    Take notes every developer out there, this is how a remake SHOULD BE! They worked so hard and truly did remake Mafia from the ground up. It is truly one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played. Definitely in the top 5 when it comes to graphics. Story is also amazing.

    The remake has some good moments, but as original Mafia fan I couldn't say this game is for me. It's packed up with not necessary arcade content, the characteristics of the key characters are changed and they changed a original plot in some points. The game lost it's soul

    Mafia DE is a great example how a remake should look like.
    The graphical design is astonishing, cutscenes were redone perfectly, gameplay is smooth and the game got rid of tedious tasks (e.g. the train ride with Paulie, drive back to the bar). I absolutely loved the classic difficulty, the race took a lot out of me. It has some bugs though. I hope they're going to be fixed soon.

The way ut feels, the atmosphere, cars, and story are just fantastic. I really weren't expected a good remake from Hangar 13, after mafia 3 and its unoriginal story, but now i see they made a hard work to not to disappoint gamers. Yeah I've seen a lot of people critisising mafia because its more casual than the original one, or people saying that they are quitting game because of that race, I've seen people critisizing the remake for its story changes and etc.. but lets be more rational, compared to new pay to win or 1000 hours online games, or left wing propagandistic games, and games without any esthetic sense, mafia remake is just fantastic. The gameplay, and by this i mean shootings, driving and etc... doesn' make you be bored. Story changes are logical and make story more inteeesting. Saras romance is now more clear, and because of new graphics, the game is looking more cinematic and more dramatic. I love this game, especially when I've seen the updated ending, that's looking more emotional. The games is really great, and after I ended the orginal one, I can truly say that people saying that the original is way beter, I surely just missing the good old games, but the gaming industry is changing. I also miss the good old days of ps2, but i admit the fact that like any other media branch, gaming is in cinstant developpement. Mafia definitive edition ans RE 2 remake are by far my favourite remakes, an mafia definiive edition truly deserves a nomination at game awards.… Expand

    Aj keď Hangar 13 mali ešte tažšiu úlohu.... Vytvoriť ho
    Hneď na začiatku hry je pár väčší aj menších zmien
    Miesto Tommyho príde do baru detektív Norman a hneď na začiatku sa už podľa novín čo prinesie vie že zabiť Morella pôjde len jednou cestou...
    Postavy sú prepracované... Niektoré majú pozmenený charakter - Hlavne Tommy,Sam,Paulie,Sára a Salieri...
    Ale napríklad Ralph už nieje len obyčajný koktavý mechanik ktorý vám len raz začas dohodí auto
    Čo sa misií týka
    V prvej misií je síce nepriateľov viac... Ale je omnoho ľahšie im uniknúť než to bolo v originále...
    Všetky misie sú celkovo skvelé no ku koncu idú strašne rýchlo za sebou že sa ani nenazdáte a zrazu ste v galerií...
    Závod je na extrémnu obtiažnosť ♥♥♥♥ ťažký ale hra viacej odpúšťa takže napríklad sa nemusíte báť že po viacerých nárazoch vám odpadne koleso...
    Vzťah Tommyho a Sáry je rozšírený o nejaké detaily ale nejak veľký dopad to na hru nemá...
    Dosť veľkou zmenou si prešiel koniec hry...

    Tommy už na konci nepôsobí vôbec prekvapene keď za ním prídu Vito a Joe ale vypadá že dobre vedel že ten deň raz príde tak na otázku ''Pan Angelo?'' odpovie ''Ano'' s kľudom pripravený čeliť svojmu osudu ktorému tak dlho utekal... Nakoniec zomiera v kruhu svojej rodiny s vedomím že jeho rodina je konečne v bezpečí

    Hru som prešiel dokopy 3 krát
    Raz na Normál na PS4
    A dvakrát na Classic (1x PC a 1x PS4)
    (Obe verzie PC aj PS4 mám dokončené aj so všetkými achievementami)

    Trochu som sa bál ako sa po Mafií 3 Hangar 13 popasuje s týmto Remakom a mal som trochu obavy aby to neskončilo fiaskom
    Ale na moje prekvapenie Remake sa Hangaru 13 dosť podaril... Zmeny či už menšie alebo väčšie Remaku dosť prospeli ... Hlavne to strieľanie ktoré už je v originále na dnešnú dobu zastaralé (ale zároveň to nové už nerobí z Mafie tak ťažkú hru ako si ju pamätáme)
    Aj keď mám už Remake dokončený 3 krát určite si ho dám niekedy znovu

    P.S. Český dabing je ♥♥♥♥ úžasný...

    Mafia Definitive Edition is a good remake from the ground up. At least visually. I absolutely loved the original Mafia game, and maybe because I have been spoiled by more recent games of this genre, but I was hoping for a little bit more. If this was meant to be just a story focused game, okay, great, but even the story is somewhat lacking. If this was meant to be just a story focused game, okay, great, but even the story is somewhat lacking. There is not that much substance in regards to the Mafia or organized crimes in the 1930s. I personally was not as invested in the story, nor did I really care about any of the characters because every chapter just felt like a dramatically thrown together plot without real accurate flavor of a mafioso. There could have been some depth to the rise of the main character, events that take place where the gamer sees his rank rising through the years, the day he was made, his wedding, a bond with his daughter who we never even see yet plays such a vital role in his life. I don't know if adding some side activities could have added some more depth to the story of the main character or not, but there was just so much missing that I wish was in the game.

    Maybe someday we will get a real amazing Mafia game where you actually go through the ranks of the mob and there is far more substance to the history most of us know and find fascinating about organized crime and the mafia in America. Maybe some actual rackets we can manage, a currency system, day to day operations that we can control and make choices upon to continue the story arch perhaps in two or three different ways that branch along toward alternate endings.

    7 out of 10 but only because I am fan of this franchise. It's probably really a 6 out of 10    … Expand

    Sex scene was censored so it's -1, music also was worse than original so it's -1

    This is truly a remaster. The Performance on PS4/Pro is really bad, the gameplay often lags, but almost great visuals. The open world city is really nice crafted and all scenes has a lot of details. Hopefully we got a PS5 patch for this remaster.

The only problem is that theres nothing really to do in it. The most you get from free roaming is a basic cop shootout that gets boring after 10 minutes. The combat is pretty gun though.     I never was able to get through the clunky ps2 port of the original game so this new DE version was pretty much a new experience for me and have played mafia 2 and 3 as well and loved them but this one right here is by far the best in my opinion! And for that price boii doe!!!!     A solid remake. Hangar 13 has finally redeemed themselves after the failure of Mafia 3. This game is pretty much good enough for old and new people to get into the franchise. Everything ranging from shooting and driving is pretty fun and challenging. Definitely recommend checking it out.

    I played the original game as a kid and this remake bought so many memories back. Such a great job from Hangar 13, great decision making overall. Good graphics, good minor changes to the original story without really changing anything, and great value for money! Seriously, I bought 3 games for 50 euro.     l think Mafia Definitive Edition is really good, but it just needs daily updates on the free ride. It would be cooler if we can customize the cars a little more, and maybe more weapons.

    Ever since it's release, fans have been begging for more content in Mafia Definitive Edition. There are three things we most desperately want. Firstly, we'd love a DLC, with well-loved characters from the game. Extra gameplay and missions which tell the largely untold stories of how Sam and Paulie came to be in the family or the beginnings of the war between Morello and Salieri areEver since it's release, fans have been begging for more content in Mafia Definitive Edition. There are three things we most desperately want. Firstly, we'd love a DLC, with well-loved characters from the game. Extra gameplay and missions which tell the largely untold stories of how Sam and Paulie came to be in the family or the beginnings of the war between Morello and Salieri are desperately wanted. As fans, we want to see more from these characters that are even more incredibly interesting and complex thanks to the improved story and script. It would be even better to see the actors of the main characters in the DE return to continue their roles in a DLC, including the likes of Andrew Bongiorno (Tommy), Glenn Taranto (Don Salieri), Don DiPetta (Sam), Jeremy Luke (Paulie), Steven Oliver (Frank), Bella Popa (Sarah) etc.

    Secondly, Photo Mode is a desperate want. The game is beautiful and many of the missions allow for incredible views, unique locations and incredible effects for photos. This mode will allow players to take the photos they desperately want in a game that calls for it because of its beauty. It will also open up more space for community creation, as fans will be able to share what they produce, keeping the game interesting and exciting.

    Furthermore, the fans would love to see more content and additional gameplay for Free Ride. These could include being able to use more transportation (trains, trams) and open more spaces for exploration that were used in the game like the prison, different character's homes, the airport, the race track just to name a few. Additions of clothing stores and other interactable shops/business would be welcome too. In terms of gameplay, the fans would love to be able to battle against other gangs in this mode that can be initiated by the player or in new side missions. These could include taking over a gang hideout, stopping booze/merchandise runs, infiltrating businesses etc Characters like Vincenzo and Lucas Bertone could give players missions to do.

    This game has always been loved ever since the original came out in 2002. Now that the game has been released again, fully remade with beautiful graphics, a perfected story and script, amazingly talented cast of actors and updated gameplay, we want to see more added so that we can enjoy it even more.

    Game cutscenes of the movie and fast passing in a day.
    In our years, they do not make high-quality games, only in 2002 the original version remains cult to this day. This Mafia Definitive Edition game has nothing more than a simplified scenario. For what an open walk, there the city is only a picture and nothing more.

    Loved the game. It has a great story. It's not an open world game as we know them today as it's realesed quiet a while back, so I think the amount of content is ok (it's unfair to compare it with e.g. an Ubisoft open world). It's a game with a big focus on the story and that story is damn good!

    If you want to be very disappointed and play a linear fleeting story and in free mode to chase UFO in a dead ghost town - I think it is better to play the original and put on it an improved graphic mod to improve the graphics, which is available on the websites of the game Mafia-2002.
    I do not advise you to upset yourself, this deceptive DE edition.

    I played the game 15% and watched the game movie 85%, then the empty world without the interactions of Freeride.
    This is another game from H13 that worse, worse, every time it gets worse...
    Why can't the Mafia make Ubisoft or Rockstar!?

    that being said everything else is rather enjoyable besides some odd choices..
    Remember how Morello's brother survives multiple assassination attempts out of sheer luck?
    That's why his missions are called "Lucky B***ard". Well, the remake has reduced the
    number of assassination attempts (I think the one with the train doesn't happen at all) AND
    the events have been changed. In the original, Paulie tries to shoot Morello in front of a diner
    and his gun jams, but in this version, Tommy PREVENTS Paulie from shooting Morello
    because he's holding a woman hostage. This completely messes with the concept of him
    being lucky.
    They've also changed the circumstances behind the plot twist with (a major mistake, in my
    opinion), they've removed Yellow Pete, they've changed how the Death of Art begins,
    removed even from freeride trains with trams for player activity with them etc...
    If you're like me, and you're kind of a purist when it comes to the story and general
    atmosphere in Mafia, these things will probably constantly bother you.    … Expand

    Also why no classic soundtracks? The music is classic version is so much better. In this remake, music is the boring. Further, there is no weather change/rotation in Free Ride Mode, which    Consistency and originality of the gameplay - Probably the worst of the worst, the gameplay in this game was dull and super boring. The game followed a linear pathway in almost every single mission.
    Also why no classic soundtracks? The music is classic version is so much better. In this remake, music is the boring. Further, there is no weather change/rotation in Free Ride Mode, which makes Free Ride Mode pointless after a couple runs. The city is filled with an overpass ,for trains , he is all filled with them moving and communicating with NPCs, but my access there is locked, is that a mockery? Very little replay value and little value freeride.
    Definitive Edition it certainly did bring back some memories of the old game, the story, graphics, characters were all enhanced, but it all boiled down to a typical nasty new age game design. I would say that if they stayed loyal to the old game formula and just made it look and play better, it would be a masterpiece of a remake and a game, but instead, it turned out to be just another **** .    … Expand

All you can do are simply shooting and driving. can't buy your own gun, can't upgrade cars, can't use tram and trains, don't have any cash, can't buy a meal, can't get a drink, can't do anything!     There is so much wasted potential here. An open world this magnificent should provide at least 60-75 hours of activity.

    Honestly I don't get why a remake after 18 years ago should remove so many features who were a big content in the original one. What's the point of it ? Looking at locked station doors makes me want to throw the game away.

    The justification that the world is empty because the original was empty aswell is just total **** Sorry but a remake means that you change things for the better. It doesn’t mean that you literally copy every Aspekt of the original. There should have been clothing stores, side activists, train/tram for players in access, money etc. Free roam is empty as **** It’s so empty it makes you wonder why they even bothered.

    Not enough content in this game it’s so boring. The secret missions are pretty fun, shooting down the aliens and ufo is pretty trippy but apart from them 3 secret missions there’s nothing to do after the game. Even mafia 3 had more content than this.

    Having passed the game completely, I see that this is a false attempt to copy the original and give less than in that distant 2002 original.
    Chapter 15 (You lucky bastard) is botched entirely. Every single story change in that chapter is for the worse.

    1.Enormous input lag and large deadzone of the analog stick. The lag between the controller and the character on screen is truly appalling for a console game in 2020, making it impossible to aim. You would think its because of vertical sync that usually is the issue, but the game has awful screen-tearing as well so what causes this lag is beyond me. Fix your engine, Hangar 13

    2. Framedrops everywhere when doing simple tasks like: aiming a long distance rifle, or scoping in, enabling mirror view in the car (try spamming it and the fps of the game tanks).

    3. Awful hit detection. Most of the time enemies just dont get hit because there is an invisible piece of the wall on above or on the side their cover.

    4. The classic difficulty is not “classic”. Its unreasonably hard and artificial. Completed the game on Classic difficulty and its not challenging, just rage-inducing and rather cheap. More damage on you or your vehicles doesnt make it “hard”, Hangar 13, it makes it a poorly optimized difficulty. This difficulty in tandem with large deadzone and input lag softlocked me For 2 hours inside a farm escape mission, in a constant loop of the turret destroying my turret in a matter of 10 seconds, and me not being able to destroy the turret 3 times that fast. On PC without vertical sync and no input lag it might be an easy mission to complete, but on PS4 Its impossible, replaying the whole chapter for Tommy to have more health didn’t help, it just locks you in this hell of 20 second loading screens, and instant demolishion of your truck by that turret (or tommy’s death). Knowing the awful performance on this game i I had to end up using Speedrunner strats of spamming the pause button (while shooting the turret) to slow down the game framerate and not miss a single shot on it. It worked. Its just crazy that i had to end up cheating and breaking the game in order to complete this mess of a mission.

    5. Sandbox is gone. The game is a dumbed down corridor-esque mission-by-mission rollercoaster. The variety of ways you could complete the mission is no more. The sandbox type of walkthrough is not possible and removed in most missions. The game is holding your hand through large amount of forced cutscenes, checkpoints and corridors.
    The enemies will not appear until you hit a trigger or move further. Some missions are so dumbed down and programmed in such an outdated and broken fashion that you can literally run past all enemies and hit a cutscene trigger, and you essentially completed the mission, missing a 40 minute mindless shootout. Sometimes there is no way to quit the vehicle during mission. Sometimes you can’t attack or cant run (you can imagine Hangar 13 saying: “Here’s the deal, player, we are forcing you to look at our interrior details, so we removed run feature inside buildings”). There is no way to complete the “Visiting Rich” completely stealth, or without casualties like in original. You also cant enter side door, or backdoor of the building like the original. You also can’t ask salvatore to lockpick doors, instead you play a stupid hide-and seek scripted sequence which makes it look silly. You are also forced to take out the entire army of bad guys in the garden-maze and can only enter the building using the front door. The maid is also not hostile and cant alarm guards, so essentially you can run around the mansion like Usain Bolt, making this mission pale and dumb in comparison to the original atmospheric hitman-like experience.

    6. The rewritten score pales in comparison and hardly touches any strings of the players soul (mine especially.) If it does, its because they mixed-in some notes from the original score, the other “battle” or “sad themes are generic and dull. The musical pieces feel out of place sometimes, and not as epic or emotional. Why not just remix the original 2002 soundtrack is beyond me (you had one job)

    7. Removed content/features/details. This includes: no way to ride trolly or subway. Essentially no “Garage”. Just “select your car” type of thing. You can’t park your cars in backyard of Salieri’s bar and expect them to stay there. Less cars in game. Lucas Bertone missions are removed, you hardly interact with Ralphie (he doesnt teach you how to steal each car, making the car progression essentially non-existent). Weapon names are dumbed down (no Colt, no Smith and Vessons, just PISTOL, SHOTGUN etc.). When shooting in the car, Tommy shoots Through the freaking windshield instead of sticking his hand through the window like in the original.

    Hell was going this story where I couldn't go somewhere in the city to walk and see. The plot is surprisingly fast and circumcised from the original, which upset me. Included a walk mode that would run around the city and ride on the tram and aboveground subway ... Hell would have taken this game that I'm not allowed into this transport for, well, what the hell!?

    I sincerely expected that we will be given a deeper plot with a lot of secondary and side missions to create a non-linear, non-tunnel passage, a big city in full access to everything. Instead, we were given a company for half a day, with notes on each location that seemed to bring the atmosphere.

And this remake with the name Definitive Edition, deception as the name itself, the game is an empty world, freeride is dead, the plot is cut by 60% and changed! You H13 FOOLS AND MORONS!

    - Police can finally chase for driving too fast, hurting civilians, or car accidents, like it was in the original game,
    - No more loading screens when you get to mission arena,
    - Good colection of cars from thirties of the twentieth century
    - Speed limit

    Minuses:
    - Shooting mechanics are clunky, and slow,
    - You cannot use public transport subway, or a tram,
    - some easter eggs are gone from the original like a Secret Cave that you could find in east hoboken,
    - NPC have unlimited ammo (one guy was shooting for 2 minutes in mission 8, in original game if he would run out of ammo and switched to melee)
    - 5 star police model from GTA series
    - some minor bugs like gun sound disappearing in mission 13

    Overall it's a pretty good game, but since it's a remake of a game that is for me 10/10, and it lacks some of the small details that the original had the score is lower. Hangar 13 have recovered in my eyes after the disaster that was a Mafia 3 in my opinion. If they decide to make another game about Don Peppone family I might be interested it.    … Expand

    16 часов неспешного прохождения на сложности "классик" и всё, конец. Это даже меньше, чем в каких-нибудь посредственных платформерах. А как вы думаете почему так мало? Потому что вместо добавления миссий, разнообразия геймплея, рукo|||oпы из Ангара решили просто вырезать целые куски сюжета, перемолоть и свалить его остатки в кучу.
    Сложные миссии превратились просто в добанутые (гонки, склад с Морелло).

    Томми теперь не обычный таксист, который колеблется в своих решениях, а он простой гопарь, который хочет крови и легких денег. Как в принципе Поли и Сэм, дела которых оставались в тени, а сейчас их показали мерзкими тварями, которые по приказу Дона отнимут последние деньги у любого человека или же отнимут его жизнь.
    Возможно подобный подход неплох, он лишает романтического образа, той самой Мафии 2002, показывая истинное лицо этой преступной ячейки.
    Но в плане сюжета это ставит крест на сочувствии любому из героев.

    Так забавляют петушки, которые разводили своё ко-ко-ко, говоря, что Мафия 3 это помойка, а сейчас эти же люди кукарекают какой шедевр выдали Ангар 13. Какие же грёбанные лицемеры.

    Короче, не буду дальше бомбить, касаемо игры - это дно! Не покупайте это даже на распродажах. Цена этому "шедевру" 2 бакса.

    P.S. кстати, если в оригинале было название Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven и город по суди был одним из главных персонажей. Именно по этому все миссии были прописаны так, что ты хорошо помнил каждый район. То здесь город вообще никакой. Разрабам было лень делать метро и трамваи, ничем из этого вы не можете воспользоваться. На заправке нет людей. А от Луки Бертоне, вы получите 5 фоток с автомобилями и пожеланием самим их найти. Во всём чувствуется экономия и мерзкая меркантильность.    … Expand

    The off centre camera angle with no way of changing it is annoying. The shooting mechanics are annoying. The fact its not an open free world just mission after mission is annoying but apart from those few things I found myself enjoying this game. Nostalgia bug satisfied.

    Mafia Definitive Edition is not just a change of graphics, it is a change of the whole game, some features are borrowed from Mafia 3, some characters are changed, but mafia remains mafia. Of course, some flaws flowed into the Definitive Edition, but they are so invisible that they do not affect the gameplay in any way.
    P.S. The plot was not touched

    Damn, thank you Hangar 13. This game is amazing. The cutscenes, the dialogue, the atmosphere and the visuals soooo good.
    Definitly my game of the year. Please do Mafia 4 now :)

    Original has many flaws, but the storytelling and immersion made me forgive the shortcoming, with the remake, it is the other way around. Unimportant things got improved, important ones got watered down.

    Maybe if I have not known original I would enjoy the game more, but I think I would still forget about story pretty fast, In comparsion it is not as memorable and there is definately much less attachment to it.

    From the technical side, I got stable FPS, game jsut was breaking down when I would minimalize it during the cutscene, hard restart was needed. But it was playable enough, not the worth thing around.    … Expand

    Stunning graphics, epic story, but unfortunately the gameplay is exactly the same as in Mafia 3 - horrible. This game had such a potential, however Hangar 13 just did not even try to improve the gameplay for which Mafia 3 was criticised.

    Remake is good, but that driving model and cheating AI in race are very frustrating. It's ruined my game experience. I heard it will be option to skip this race after few unsuccessful attempts but i didn't find it... Give me patch or my money...

The gameplay is like mafia 3 but way worse, it's as if part 3 came out after this one, the mission design is way too over the top for my taste, my suspense of disbelief is all over the place ('Take in mind, Thomas is no trained soldier', yet he whacks 40+ people in one mission, come on), I loved Mafia 3 for it's gunplay at least, the gunplay just sucks in thisExtremely disappointing. The gameplay is like mafia 3 but way worse, it's as if part 3 came out after this one, the mission design is way too over the top for my taste, my suspense of disbelief is all over the place ('Take in mind, Thomas is no trained soldier', yet he whacks 40+ people in one mission, come on), I loved Mafia 3 for it's gunplay at least, the gunplay just sucks in this one, it feels like a complete chore, I actually hate shooting in this game and just want to get it over with. The graphics are okay, the cinematic music just feels massively out of place with what is going on, I already had a big sound bug, where the whole game would be dead silent, beyond walking noises, once I had to restart the game, because the transition from one mission to another didn't trigger a necessary cutscene and the writing on the other hand doesn't click for me either, I don't care for the characters, they are very, very dull. the open world is just colorful collage in the background while driving from target to target. Even Mafia 2 was chapter-orientated, but at least you could roam in the city, buy clothes etc. The possibilities weren't much back then, but here they are non-existent, I don't consider this an open world game. You don't even get money. The excuse, that it weren't like that in the first game, is non valid, since this is what I would have expected from a remake. Lost Heaven is well made, so it's a shame, I will never take a closer look at it. And don't you even start with this exploring mode - If they failed to incorporate it in their main story mode, I will not drive around aimlessly for the sake of it. The close combat is an absolute joke, button smashing and waiting for your triangle cue, like seriously? That is 2005 kind of stuff. This game is in all technical regards a huge step down and feels more clunky than mafia 3, I seriously can not fathom, that this is supposed to be an 'advanced' version of mafia 3, this is Mafia 3's gameplay after you drove it to a wall and patched the worst damage up , and this bothers me extremely, since this was Hanger 13's last chance to turn things around, after they've ruined Mafia 3 and had the audacity to release a total lackluster remaster of part 2. Maybe I'm a little hard on it, because I was pissed of about Mafia 3 so much and because I hoped that Hangar 13 would finally get their **** together and knock it out of the park. But this really isn't it. The mission design is decades old, boring, frustrating, I'm actually bored senseless playing this game. I guess I will eventually finish it, but this was beyond a doubt the final nail in the coffin for Hanger 13.

    I love original game. And now I love remake. "Classic" difficult are awesome. Story, gameplay, world - it's awesome.
    Mafia Definitive Edition - my GOTY2020 and game of generation(Witcher 3 & God Of War too).

    Game ruined by Chapter 5 race, for the 1 % that can beat it on classic, you are gods. For the rest of us trying to beat it on classic..... RIP.

    Получилось хорошо, но не идеально. Не критичные баги и приятная картинка. Не очень доволен новыми характерами персонажей и их мотивацией, но играется отлично. Определенно стоит своих денег, атмосфера шикарная.

    Впервые прошёл мафию по советам друзей , действительно великая история но геймплей иногда слишком плох , анимации ужасны но сюжет , атмосфера и эмоции того стоят , рекомендую

    Falls du das orginale Mafia 1 mochtest, wirst du auch dieses Spiel lieben. Im groben und ganzen sind die Spiele identisch. Die Story ist 1 zu 1 übernommen und meiner Meinung nach noch sinnvoll ergänzt. Die Schauplätze variieren etwas und die Missionen können etwas abweichen vom orginalen.

    Aber erwarte hier kein GTA. Es ist immer noch eine lineare Story, die in einer Open World spielt.

    As any game in the current industry and in 100% cases for remakes, this is a squished simplified trash , cause there was no people who worked on this to make game great. I bet nobody in the studio played the original game. Mario is harder and more interesting game than this. Guess why , cause people who made it ,cared about it, This remake era we are currently in kills the industry.

    This is my first time playing this series and im so happy I started with this game. Amazing, on the edge of your seat action and story. The graphics are good and the cars are beautiful!.. Only issue was clunky gun play and some glitches but nothing to serious and the over use of the same face for the NPC'S.

    I was really looking forward to the remake. I believed in him to the last, but he didn't live up to my expectations. Yes, the graphics are better, but otherwise it's something terrible. I got used to changing the music, gameplay features, and many other things, but the ending. You shouldn't have done that. In the original, I was crying at the very end. The remake did not cause any emotions. This is a failure. No one could ruin the game like that.

    It's a good game with an entertaining story, but If you have played the original and still remember details you will miss quite some stuff. It's good and if you are looking for something to play right now, buy it, but it's no 10.

    Masterpiece. Great story, characters and graphics. The remaster is really well made, not like Mafia 2, only 2-3 glitches and one blue screen for 10 hours.

    A great Remake that honors the original. Hangar 13 proved they can deliver quality. Great gameplay, Sound and graphics. I even had fun with the race Mission.

    I absolutely loved this game. The story is so gripping and enjoyable from start to finish I genuinely felt for the characters around me and I'm not going to lie I definitely miss them already now that I've completed the game. Hanger 13 please make a Mafia 4 but please spend all the time needed to make it amazing

    Apart from graphics not feeling like new games do and sometimes somewhat strange dialogs, game keeps reminding me of Redemption 2. It's characters and missions are amazing and it is a must play for any type of gamer. It's a cult classic and even better than the original.

    After the absolute trash mafia 3 was, someone thought it’d be a good idea to give hangar 13 another chance to develop more absolute rubbish, and boy oh boy they didn’t disappoint. This is just a terrible remaster with horrible clunky controls, lighting is horrendous again. These guys are c grade devs at best.

    Amazing simply Amazing what a beautiful and heartbreaking experience truly one of the best mafia stories ever told. The game has a few bugs and glitchs, needs more polish hopefully everything will get patched soon. Thank you to the original team who made mafia and thank you hanger 13 for remaking mafia
