    Game shows horrible digression. I've been playing for a decade and the game isn't even as good as it was before. The game has many glitches and bugs. Not to mention the game play is horrendous from a football stand point blockers, tacklers, coverage guys and any place you can think of the A.I does not work. Movement doesn't reflect athletes fluid movements. Players never get to the rightGame shows horrible digression. I've been playing for a decade and the game isn't even as good as it was before. This is the only "nfl simulation game" and its not even close to being simulation. I'm really disappointed that a gaming company won't try to make a better game but removes features instead of innovating a proper game to simulate my favorite sport.     Been the same game for years. Broken AI. Players not doing what they’re supposed to be doing on certain play calls. Players going rogue and changing plays. Clear penalties not called in the passing game. This is a simulation and animation driven game that relinquishes user control to programmed animations. Do not buy this game.

    Practically the same game as last year which was also quite poor for the price, except more glitches and bugs than ever before. EA sports should feel a great deal of shame for this product. Horrible money grab of a franchise and has lost my money for the future.

    Literally play any other Madden before....I want to say....2012....before the advent of microtransactions. Play 02 to like 12 and you’ll see an amalgamation of content and features that EA so disgracefully replaced with booty ass features and an entire gambling mechanic. $60 roster update only begins to describe this game....there’s so much more wrong

    This game is absolute trash. I was up 60-12 and they made one play on a pass and the announcer said they have been a lockdown D all game. FoF stops actual animation once you get to the league, have had field with no yard markers, my FoF player photo is well....off. This is the worst madden I’ve ever played and probably won’t buy any future versions.

I was angry about them adding new game modes when their current gameplay sucks, and the modes they currently have are worse that sports games from the early 2010s. It belongs in a landfill, and heads should truly roll at EA for how embarrassing their game is. The real issue is that, because I love football, I still stupidly bought the game. Boredom from quarantine, and a love for football caused me to buy their game against my better judgement. I should have known not to trust them. The worst part is they think we are that stupid. They think we will keep buying their game even though it gets considerably worse. They cannot even get their game to be the same level of trash every year. How do you explain that? And you know what, I actually was as stupid as they thought. I bought the game for 60 bucks.     And that's not to mention all the wasted potential beyond the stale gameplay. Football offers so many opportunities to create interesting stories on and off the field. Having seen all the amazing announcements entering this next generation of consoles... it just makes me angry thinking about the kind of experience these games could offer if only they had any remaining creative spark whatsoever.     Madden has regressed significantly the past 10 years. Developers made it WAY too animation dependent (Glitchy animations I might add). They're just LAZY. Not to mention, Clint Oldenburg and Ty Stover being jackasses to fans on social media (great look guys!). Horrible game and company.

    Its 2020, hardware is actually pretty darn capable now - start by building a football simulation where physics, hitboxes,    It's a 15 year problem really, but this entry is just like the rest - a roster update, a ton of bugs, glitchy gameplay that doesn't represent simulation, and shortcuts everywhere.
    This franchise is far beyond saving, it needs to be shut down and completely restarted.
    Its 2020, hardware is actually pretty darn capable now - start by building a football simulation where physics, hitboxes, solid objects, ACTUALLY ACT LIKE THEY DO IN OTHER TITLES. Realistically.
    Then put your branching animation system(which WOULD work good if it wasn't sitting on top of a heaping pile of tricked up fake rules and a world where object collision doesn't really exist) on top of that. Then start building player AI and coach AI that have a concept of how to play the game and their position in it properly. And in this first, buggy half baked release of the complete rebuild of the entire franchise, you would have a game that's 10x more enjoyable to play than this Shareholder Slavery edition that is Madden NFL 21. And then you would start to experience a userbase that will finally start to believe you see us as anything more than cattle, that you absolutely HATE.    … Expand

    I knew it was literally the same game when I threw a fake punt in the first game I played to a wide open guy and he bobbled it for 5 seconds before dropping it. Like dude, please fix these annoying things and actually put effort into the game.

    Complete waste of $60.. the most glitchy madden i have ever personally played with loading screens freezing multiple times when playing with friends forcing me to close the application and restart. There was a glitch where my whole UI disappeared halfway through the game so i couldn't audible, kick field goals, etc. Franchise mode doesn't even need to be talked about because everyone knows its been horrible for years. Another glitch was when i played against my cousin and they snapped the ball and it flew straight up into the air and my defender intercepted it. Also as everyone has noticed the yard is just here for more micro transactions because EA just wants our money of course and don’t get me started on face of the franchise as that was the worst game mode i ever had to sit through and i ended up not finishing after seeing youtube videos about how much worse the story got later. Only bought madden 21 because i thought it would be different and better with the yard and superstar KO and etc. Absolutely wrong.… Expand

    1. It is Madden 20 with updated rosters 2. Route running is horrible and the receiver will only be open on slants after you bunch up the linebackers/corners 3. Continuously freezes in gameplay (offline gameplay) 4. Face of the franchise is boring with no freedom of play (story line is not dynamic at all) 5. During Face of    Complete trash!     The last 10 years nothing has happened to this game. If EA only wants to roster update every year, then release a Madden with no year attached and add a roster update once a year. They don't care, and I'm tired of it.

Franchise mode has still not been touched, Face of the Franchise has one of the most poorly writen plot I have ever seen, MUT is just a cash cow, the yard is a band-aid over a broken bone, Gliches all over the place make the game hard to even attempt to play.     The addition to Face of the Franchise was promising at first... Then it kept deleting in entirety after random games... Other than that, Madden 21 is just a $60 roster update. The bugs are horrible, and its impossible for me to believe that this game was actually released. Shame on EA but also shame on us for constantly buying their BS every year.

    Games is filled with glitches, many of which are from the previous games as well. Madden and most other sports games don’t care at all for the quality of their game, it’s all about ULTIMATE TEAM and getting those new PACKS out for people to BUY. That’s sports games in a nutshell.

    This game is literally a copy and paste of madden 20, they haven’t changed franchise in years, face of the franchise basically sucks once you get to the NFL, and they STILL have the SAME super bowl celebration. The only good thing in madden 21 is the yard, it’s different, and that’s what I like, but everything else is just a copy and paste

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
