    Copy and pasted game from madden 20 with the bare minimum roster updates. Same glitches, same gameplay, same MUT BS, with new menu screens and new bad music. Face of the franchise is incomplete at launch and severely glitched, and normal franchise mode has received 0 updates. Real disappointment.

    It is every Football fans civic duty to review this game, institute change and vote with your wallet. We have been get the same rehashed game for almost a decade now. If you had told me by 2020 that this would be the product people are paying $60 for, you would've blown my mind. The NFL needs to drop EA. Plain and simple. Disgusting.

What was once the crown jewel of sports gaming and a driver of video game technology advancement is now a micro transaction driven "update" which would be better suited as a $5 purchase in your app store. Now containing less depth or emersion and more bugs than ever it is clear the entire goal of EA is to leverage their monopoly and force loyal gamers into new micro transaction driven game modes . If you are here for Franchise, realistic simulation, or any attempt at a quality game, turn around. Update your 20 roster from the community board and you now have Madden 21 WITH LESS BUGS. EA should be ashamed. We as consumers should be embarrassed for letting this go on for so long.

    Face of the franchise is a joke with little to no actual influence on your story. Franchise mode is 100% copy and paste from Madden 20. Zero additions or improvements to the game mode that put Madden on the map 15+ years ago.

The Face of the Franchise game mode which was worked on, “All year.” Completely ignoring franchise mode, is awful, full of glitches, and is neither quality nor quantity. Franchise is more or less the same, core gameplay still awful, almost no modifications. Any and all modifications have gone into modes that EA can monetize.     This game is exactly like the previous madden which was exactly like the one before that. The last time it was different was 2016-2017. And even then it had flaws. Franchise mode is a joke. The game revolves around MUT mode. Don’t buy this game.

Today my game loaded and had no field markings! No end zone lines sidelines yard markers nothing at all! Linemen will fall down and then pick up the Dline men before they can sack the QB. You try to blitz someone say a safety whoThis is by far the worst madden of all time. The game play is sluggish.     Besides being Madden 20 2.0 this game is buggy beyond belief. Numerous times after a quarter in franchise mode the game froze and kept showing views of the stadium. The Madden team has simply given up. It's a shame because EA UFC made so many positive strides this year.

Franchise mode still has nothing new and is less realistic than it was 10 years ago. MUT is the same and the new Yard Mode is not nearly enough to save this game, or justify spending $60+ on the game. Another cheap money grab from EA.

    TERRIBLE. I’ve owned every madden since 2001 with Eddie George on the cover. The laziness shown by EA is unparalleled. Filled with awful bugs, endless micro transactions, a completely gutted franchise mode, and the worst career mode in the history of video games. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    EA could learn alot from Paradox Interactive. Paradox is community based and actually accepts criticisms from their consumers, and actually attempts to remedy situations. EA on the other hand gets defensive and blocks people who constructively criticize the game. Worse yet, EA has the audacity to not even watch sincere videos that demonstrate some of the major issues with the game. Then EAEA could learn alot from Paradox Interactive. Paradox is community based and actually accepts criticisms from their consumers, and actually attempts to remedy situations. EA on the other hand gets defensive and blocks people who constructively criticize the game.     I so badly want to play an NFL game this year, so much so that I even whipped out my ps2 to give NFL Street a revisit. It looks like I will be forced to play that until 2024 or whatever seeing as I would be doing the football community a disservice by giving any amount of money to EA and madden. i will admit I am as much of a sucker for Ultimate Team as one can be, but even theI so badly want to play an NFL game this year, so much so that I even whipped out my ps2 to give NFL Street a revisit.     The game is horrible , it's full of bugs and is definitely not a simulation football game. The commentary is horrible, the presentation feels like its circa 2008. They seemed to not have had an actual Beta test with all of the glitches in the game.

    This is a primary example of the benefits of competition - if 2K had the licence to make an NFL game then this wouldn't have happened. It's a real shame, loyal customer for over 10 years and although each of the last few years have been disappointing, I still held out hope. This is the last straw - I won't be buying another Madden unless they show some kind of commitment to rewarding their customers.

    EA simply does not care about anything but selling micro-transactions to dumb children with their parent's credit card. EA cares more about touchdown dances than making any part of the game realistic. There is nothing for anyone here and it is not worth a dime of your money.

I can say with 100% certainty that NFL 2K5, a game that came out 15 years ago, provides a more realistic, bug-free, & enjoyable experience. Speaking of glitches and mistakes, the player showcase loading screens are full of typos, bad photo-editing, and straight-up false information. If you want to get a realistic and fun football game, ESPN NFL 2K5, All-Pro Football 2K8, or NCAA Football 14 are all far better products than Madden has been since 2010.… Expand

Every cut, juke, spin move you make feels pre determined and it us just not fun to look at or play. Tackling is still another huge problem. Same animations over and over along with the same catching animations as well. Players are constantly clipping into one another. There has been no new changes to Franchise mode, the mode that used to be the glory of Madden. It has been the same for the last 3 years. It’s a reason why in the sport of basketball games 2k has demolished the likes of NBA, they actually seem to care. I’m never buying another madden again.     Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.
