    EA continues to care more about money than their consumers. Their greed is catching up to them. This game is atrocious and has zero changes from madden 20 besides the yard which also sucks. BOYCOTT EA

    It’s another step backwards, Madden has been downhill ever since they got an exclusive license. 2k5 is still the best football game ever. I work at a game store and we can barely give this game away.

    **** Same game different year. We don’t want new game modes that suck. Update the franchise mode. It’s god awful, I feel like Madden11 had a better franchise mode.

    Like many others, I’ve been waiting longer than I can remember for EA to wake up and give a flying turd about this game. This year they set a whole new benchmark for how truly unprofessional and lackadaisical EA is. Do not waste your money I beg you, it will only encourage more of this dastardly behavior.     I never write reivews, but i created this account solely for this purpose. I've been playing madden for 25 years now and I'm sick and tired of their laziness. This game sucks, EA sucks and their developers suck

    It is almost the same exact game as madden 20. The only difference I see is that stretch run plays only get you a 20+ yard run about 33% of the time instead of 80% of the time. Nobody asked for more arcade modes. The only reason they added them is to point users to their new store.

    I want to move a player to the right... he plants, backs up, spins and then runs left instead. I keep buying it every year and every year I get more disappointed.

    Well at least I still have NFL 2k5, Madden 04&06 and NCAA 06 & 14 to get my football fix. Wish I. 2020 I wouldn't have to go back a 15 years for decent NFL game and 7 years for football in general

    got the 100$ version for my little brothers birthday just to realize it’s madden 20 in a madden 21 case. same graphics, legit nothing changed. very sad and bummed out

    I really wasted money yet agen on madden, every year I get suckered in, especially by one of my friends who should be a salesman for madden, every year it’s “look at the graphics!” And everything else in this game is neglected, I really didn’t have the 57 to spend on it and that was cheaper because of the EA Access I should have stopped at the trial but seeing all my friends on it I had toI really wasted money yet agen on madden, every year I get suckered in, especially by one of my friends who should be a salesman for madden, every year it’s “look at the graphics!” And everything else in this game is neglected, I really didn’t have the 57 to spend on it and that was cheaper because of the EA Access I should have stopped at the trial but seeing all my friends on it I had to get the trash … Expand

    Used to be an AVID madden player. Been playing this game for 20 years. This game is the worst it's been. Franchise mode is BORING, Ultimate Team is BORING. NFL DROP EA!!!!

    I play franchise 98% with the occasional online game... this game is no different than madden 16. A few minor tweaks to the gameplay that’s about it. Same menu, same intro, same layout in franchise, same interactions. Just over it

    you cant keep turning out the same game every year and expect people to keep paying for it. FIX FRANCHISE MODE. Nobody plays MUT, I know EA wants to force people to spend money on micro transactions but they have ran this game into the ground. I'd rather Play madden 08

The gameplay is more buggy with an increased reliance on terrible glitchy animations.DBs can speedboost from several steps away from the play to make insanrly unrealistic interceptions. They made a couple fixes but introduced tons of new issues. The menus take forever to navigate it is such a waste of time. They did nothing with franchise. Errors happen constantly when you attempt to load into online games that force you to close the application .Glitches are rampant, in multiple game modes if you can even get into the game without the application crashing you cant run pass plays from gun or pistol or it subs out the offensive coordinator. Man coverage isalso still nearly useless. Any outbreaking route gets anyone beat by 5 steps every time. Zone is worse, defenders still dont cover far enough to the sideline on outside zones and any defender no matter their zone rating will just abondon their zone at random. CPU defenders overrun the ball constantly and cant take angles they just run straight at where the ball is on run plays. Fade routes still dont work correctly. Pass interference is still hardly ever called, they even added new animations where the defender blatantly holds the reciever to keep them from going for a jump ball and its not a penalty. QBs in squads will miss passes dispite the game saying the passes are accurate. QBs get rid of the ball way too quickly. Theyll throw dimes 40 yards downfield with a dude draped on their back. Sometimes their arm wont even move and theyll drop it on the hit and its ruled an incomplete pass. Players still fairly often just dont react to a ball thrown right at them. Those are just a few things off the top of my head. The game is a broken unrealistic mess and people only still buy it because of the nfl lisence.… Expand

    The game has too many glitches and bugs. When I was playing “Face of the Franchise” mode I noticed several things that were off. In some cinematic scenes, my player would appear with different cleats in both of his feet. The “Face of the Franchise” mode itself is kinda boring with a poor built story. When playing in Exhibition mode with Washington at home, the field didn’t the had theThe game has too many glitches and bugs.     Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
