    Anyone on the dev team for this game, should be ashamed. Madden 2005 has way more features, way more playback value. The madden franchise is a giant cash cow that disrespects its fans. #NflDropEA

    If you sit down to play for 3 hours, you will get kicked off the servers several times, allowing you only 1 hour and 30 minutes of gameplay in that 3 hours, if you have good internet. Their servers are absolutely atrocious. There is no sugar coating it. Don’t even get me started on the gameplay when you finally can keep a server connection. In terms of options, there is none. The Yard has about 5 available games. Ultimate team is the same old money grab, no new content. Franchise is a joke, worse than Madden 06 in terms of customization, immersion and statistics.     Madden 21 is quite possibly the worst sports video game ever made EA covers up the awful game play and lack of innovation with big shiny graphics and features that don't mean anything the yard is a horrible attempt to copy 2ks neighborhood and the franchise mode is worse than it was 20 years ago madden 21 is horrible enough said

    That's it. I'm going to stop playing EA games. This game is a disaster. This is not a game, it's a free update with 60 dollars price tag. EA needs to stop doing this. I can't believe, once my beloved franchise can be so greedy and unrespectful of their fanbase, their customers.

    The feeling of shooting hot acid up your ass is a better feeling than playing the same Madden game we’ve been spoon fed since 2016. Fix franchise mode, or, if ya really don’t wanna, give up your license. We want a REAL NFL game again

    Company has completely rejected its audience. You are just another $. Players using broken plays over and over, laggy menus, and a complete lack of anything realistic... But over and over and over and over.

    You get a zero because of double jeopardy.

    The same game was ok a couple 6years ago haha

Franchise mode is completely ignored this year (the usual), gameplay is as horrible as ever, bugs that have been in the game since Madden 25 are still present (no surprises there!), and The Yard is there new money maker. The Yard features an item shop filledYet another awful Madden from EA. They don't care about improving this game whatsoever. As long as they're making money all is well. EA also has the exclusive rights for simulation NFL games for the next 6 years (this game is anything but simulation) so don't expect EA to start caring anytime soon.     EA sports is getting worse ever year. Every game is worse than the last. You can't keep giving us the same game year after year with the same broken mechanics and expect us to continue to buy it. Things have got to change! Madden, FIFA, NHL and NBA need to be treated better. All ea cares about is the initial 60 dollars you spend and microtransactions

    Unoriginal game. Gameplay is nearly identical to previous years Madden 20. New modes feel like an extension of the cash grab that is MUT. And Madden is yet again entirely overlooking franchise mode. Very rough for diehard fans, difficulty to fathom a purchase, even if discounted.

    EA has outdone themselves yet again. Year to year I love playing squads with friends but this year they have out done themselves making it near impossible to play. For one after each game you need to recreate your lobby because for whatever reason the lobby glitches out, then if you get into a game you cant run shotgun or else your QB will bug out and not allow any user input. It is deeper, mechanically more sound, and somehow an overall better game than this atrocity. I just wish the NFL would allow the market to be open for other companies to have an opportunity to make a simulation game. This monopoly of a market forces the fans to either deal with the lack of improvements or not play any football at all. It amazes me how EA can still hold it's title with he NFL. If competition breeds greatness then this explains why Madden has not returned to its form from the glory days. The elimination of competitors have allowed and this company to not even try anymore and believe me.it shows that they aren't.     Madden has always been a fun game to play, but when you start playing a game that feels more of an update than something new it start to lose a lot of steam. I'll only purchase a game in the series only if there's something very different from it's predecessors.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Where to start... gameplay was improved by the slightest of margins, run game isn’t unstoppable and the cheesy user was nerfed. Other than that... this game is complete **** The offensive line still looks clueless, WR/DB matchups are far from realistic, DB wins in 50/50 ball situations 90 % of the time, players warping through each other is STILL a problem, and just general football knowledge is thrown out the window. Players play zone like they are actually in a bubble, you pass receivers off to the other zones, not **** sit there and watch the guy catch the ball. WR’s suck at route running unless you have one of those abilities. Bugs- Since the 25th my game has crashed 7 times... 7 more times than all of last year. The amount of bugs in this game is un**** real, there are too many to describe. Ultimate team- Mut is still the mode full of endless micro transactions, yet I still play it because it’s the only mode worth playing, because it’s the only mode EA cares about. Franchise- literally the same as last year. My mom walked in on me playing madden 21 and asked, no **** “why are you still playing madden 20. I replied “no clue.” Franchise is the DEFINITION of copy and paste. They use the wrong SUPER BOWL LOGO, I mean it’s just the most viewed event in live TV history, which the record is broken even year by the next super bowl, anyway, I’ve never heard of a company taking stuff OUT of something and make MORE money. At this point madden franchise has become a roster update. It has been dubbed a roster update for years but it was truly a roster update. No need to go into franchise bugs and stuff like trade logic because it’s the same as last year.
    FOTF- Oh my **** god. Face. Of. The. Franchise. This is easily worse than long shot. At least long shot had a TOLERABLE storyline. Holy **** Tommy Mathews is an absolute DICK HEAD and you are forced to be friend with him to create the “Heartbreak Kids”. Just shoot me. That is the cringyest nickname for 2 men I’ve ever seen. If I caught someone calling me a “Heartbreak kid” I would jump off the ledge of the Grand Canyon. They force you into playing games so you HAVE to win so you can give a damn trophy to your dick of a friend In the hospital. NBA 2k 13 had a career mode than this. I ran a 4.4 at the combine, got 65 speed. Drafted to the bears every time. Not much to say there. The yard- was fun for 5 minutes. Superstar KO- boring as ****    … Expand

    The FOTF storyline is simply an insult to fans who were looking forward to the next iteration of this game mode. Also, the functionality/interface that was created for it was completely uninspired. This was a very disappointing experience.     It's a challenge to find any redeeming aspects of this game. For people interested in purchasing the game I say save your money and just go with Madden20 will a roster update if you're really getting the itch for some Football.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
