    I deeply hate EA and their practices of making children gamble their money and how they just make garbage and they expect people to throw money at them for it. It’s sad that there was people like that but I hope that now people understand that EA is a company that does not support gaming nor gamers.

Worst of all, lately EA has had an offering of different “versions” of Madden. From a base game for $60 all the way to MVP for $99. There is zero difference between any of these versions.     Its 2020, hardware is actually pretty darn capable now - start by building a football simulation where physics, hitboxes,    It's a 15 year problem really, but this entry is just like the rest - a roster update, a ton of bugs, glitchy gameplay that doesn't represent simulation, and shortcuts everywhere.
    This franchise is far beyond saving, it needs to be shut down and completely restarted.
    Its 2020, hardware is actually pretty darn capable now - start by building a football simulation where physics, hitboxes, solid objects, ACTUALLY ACT LIKE THEY DO IN OTHER TITLES. Realistically.
    Then put your branching animation system(which WOULD work good if it wasn't sitting on top of a heaping pile of tricked up fake rules and a world where object collision doesn't really exist) on top of that. Then start building player AI and coach AI that have a concept of how to play the game and their position in it properly. And in this first, buggy half baked release of the complete rebuild of the entire franchise, you would have a game that's 10x more enjoyable to play than this Shareholder Slavery edition that is Madden NFL 21. And then you would start to experience a userbase that will finally start to believe you see us as anything more than cattle, that you absolutely HATE.    … Expand

    I knew it was literally the same game when I threw a fake punt in the first game I played to a wide open guy and he bobbled it for 5 seconds before dropping it. Like dude, please fix these annoying things and actually put effort into the game.

    Complete waste of $60.. the most glitchy madden i have ever personally played with loading screens freezing multiple times when playing with friends forcing me to close the application and restart. Continuously freezes in gameplay (offline gameplay) 4. Face of the franchise is boring with no freedom of play (story line is not dynamic at all) 5. During Face of    Complete trash!     The addition to Face of the Franchise was promising at first... Then it kept deleting in entirety after random games... Other than that, Madden 21 is just a $60 roster update. The bugs are horrible, and its impossible for me to believe that this game was actually released. Shame on EA but also shame on us for constantly buying their BS every year.

    Games is filled with glitches, many of which are from the previous games as well. Madden and most other sports games don’t care at all for the quality of their game, it’s all about ULTIMATE TEAM and getting those new PACKS out for people to BUY. That’s sports games in a nutshell.

    This game is literally a copy and paste of madden 20, they haven’t changed franchise in years, face of the franchise basically sucks once you get to the NFL, and they STILL have the SAME super bowl celebration. The only good thing in madden 21 is the yard, it’s different, and that’s what I like, but everything else is just a copy and paste

How does everyone have the newest player that dropped 15 minutes ago fully powered up? Not one or two people. But everyone? And franchise hasn't been touched in years. How do you have less features in a 2021 video game than the same title 20 years ago? I've bought madden since the very first one on Sega. Not anymore. Done with ea. Its like being a raider fan. So hopeful in the beginning of the year, only to have your dreams crushed. Its saddening. How can you add two new game modes and not even touch a game mode that's been in there since the beginning. I know why, because there's no microtransactions in franchise mode. They want you to spend $60 in hopes of you spending more money on microtransactions . They are capitalizing on the fact that no one else has the licensing to use the NFL and its players. We need competition. Competition pushes for better product. I'm sure there are people that like the yard and Superstar k o, more power to you. But that's not what I wanted. I can't be the only one that feels the same way. The graphics are excellent. But there are too many animations there needs to be some type of physics to the game. How do you have a 26 year old game and still can't throw a correct fade route. The game seems like copy and paste, which is sloppy and a waste of talent from some of the Developers. I'm sure some of the employees are smart and gifted programmers and Developers, in my opinion I believe it's an issue on the corporate level. They need to stop looking at people as numbers.     The only good thing I can say about this worthless piece of crap is that EA has been so lazy for to many years now that I learned my lesson and rented this game before purchasing.

    Madden NFL 21 guaranteed numerous improvements and fixes to bugs and glitches. They did not come through with their assurances and just added new rosters to their old game. This causes Madden NFL 21 to be a total let down and an overall unsatisfactory and inadequate game.

    This game is so broken, and horrible. It's basically the same as the past 5. The franchise is so barebones that it's not even worth playing, and face of the franchise is the worst piece of scripted trash EA has ever made. Being forced to play on rookie until you get drafted, and your choices barely have any impact, so it's definitely not worth the 60 dollars they charge for this

    Absolutely horrible, does not look like a 2020 game, it legit has 2010 graphics. All of the great features that madden used to have are all stripped for a horrible singleplayer, and an abysmal multiplayer with the number of bugs and 0 effort put in to fix the game.

    It's like they gave up on the game before it even released. Game-breaking bugs galore, constant server issues, little-to-no transparency between EA and its player base, this game is a disgrace and will be the last Madden title that I purchase.

    Literally feels like the same exact game as the last 2 madden games. Franchise is a copy paste of last years tons of glitches and just feels like there was little effort put into developing this game. I paid $64 just to see everyone on twitter getting free copies. Just all around a huge disappointment.

    EA continues to ruin sports games with 1) ultimate team card collections essentially being scratch tickets in video game mode 2) nonsensical pandering in the form of Colin Kaepernick being rated 81 overall based on nothing other than his political views. EA is using a very real and important movement to gain clicks and make money. It’s despicable and shameless.

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
