    All hail King Mickey!

    This DLC gave some much needed spotlight to many characters that didn’t get a chance to shine in the original KH3, and the gameplay enhancements + new boss fights are some of the best in the entire series, right up there with KH2:FM! The return of Final Fantasy characters was really nice to see as well. Also, the photo mode is much more engaging and robust    All hail King Mickey!

    This DLC focus on battle contents.
    Story volume isn't enough.
    but these expansion bosses so great.
    Most elaborate and hardest boss battles for these 10 years.
    Worth more than the price for hardcore gamers.

    Lets talk about the bad stuff first, later I will explain why I still gave it a 10. The Story DLC by itself is kind of.... lets say lame. Like others already stated, its just replaying the ending with another perspective and some cool new battles. There are a few things about it that leave a bad taste. There are a few things about it that leave a bad taste. The additional playable characters for instance are a cool idea but not really playworthy because 1. You cant adjust their shortcuts and 2. Your sora is probably much much stronger gameplay wise. Soras strength is the next thing. The remind bosses are a cakewalk for people like me who did more than just beat the game and are overleveled with sora. Also adding more questions than answering is getting old.

    Now the good things. The Remind part has some cool inscenated battles but what really makes this DLC shine is the limit cut episode. The bosses you encounter there are beautifully designed. Much better than I would have ever expected. Every boss got like 5 - 10 new Attack patterns and all of them have a strategy in mind. Their desperation attacks are hitting really hard and are long enough to force players to either learn how to block or on lower difficulties to at least make use of the kupo coin. They are all very intense on critical. They all also have new remixed battle music and some of them have new mechanics built in.

    So all in all the additional boss battles are the main thing I wanted and I got them, better than I could imagine plus new keyblades and plus new abilities that make sense (Keyblades and Abilities are added as a free update)

    30 Euros might be a bit too much but everyone has to decide for themselves wheather they are ready to pay that much for some neat bosses and a new story scenario. I for my part think it was worth it.    … Expand

    Really good DLC however it is made for the hardcore fans only if you are a normal fan you can play the remind scenario only which is very fun but wait until a discount drops like 20 or 25$

    I would rate remind an 6-7 on its own, just depending on how much of a fan you are. but as we delve into this, I want to point out how much I love the games free content instead of making us pay for it, so my score is higher for that. The main pull of remind was to fill in gaps for the kh3 ending, which it very much did. It added multiple bits and pieces to cut scenes, but not big ones, and let me play as characters that we have never been able to play or only were able in a previous title or two, but only one time. I was happy to play them, BUT, I wouldn't recommend remind that heavily. It only has a few new fights, and some fights where you get to play as a different character, which is very.. sparse in content.

    Im torn with this pack

    Kingdom hearts 3 - Remind is a nice dlc, but its not stellar, and its price is a bit inflated. It feels like it should of been 15 or 20 USD, not 30. I loved seeing some of my favorite characters get a few interactions, and filling in some gaps, along with all the data bosses which adds difficult content the game desperately needed (now making it one of, if not the hardest game in the series along with crit being in the game), but that leads to my next point.

    KH3 has done a beautiful thing, free updates. We got critical and multiple balance changes added that made the game SO much more fun. New keyblades too? Thats awesome! However, that is the issue. That's not part of remind, its all free. In a way im happy to support the company by buying remind, to show free content is good and I love them for it, and I recommend that people do that as well because instead of paying 60 dollars for all this, we got it all for free and the option for some extras for 30. Although if im judging just reminds content.. well.. Remind gives you around a hour of new cut scene content, 5 or so reworked / new fights, and then the data bosses (which are all unique and new to be fair), and finally a super boss. You can explore scala ad calem from the main game much more, but it amounts to nothing. Its not very big.

    This was a mostly positive experience, don't get it twisted, I think the data bosses were amazing, I loved playing as Roxas and Kairi! I heavily recommend the base game (please do play it, the updates are free and amazing), but this? Wait till its 20 or under. If you're a huge fan like me, then get it if you like challenge and want more of the ending explored or want to support square enix for its amazing business practices in my opinion of all the free content we usually need to pay for.    … Expand

    Should It have been in the main game? Maybe. Plot, bosses and playable character worth the €30, but maybe I'd like to buy it for €20.

    So in that regard(the only thing I care) it was a perfect 10 for me.
    Also, see how most of the negative comments come from people with no other reviews, poor quality profile pic, and almost all of them repeat the same words. Talk about bots. I will not defend the story of the game    I've never played this game for the story, it was alwayas about the gameplay and cool boss battles.

    It unfolds the mysteries of a game known for its confusing plot perfectly and gives players a much needed update to the somewhat disappointing ending seen in the base game.

The Data org 13 fights + secret boss are amazing and it's obvious the team put tons of effort when creating them. People who are scoring this a "0" are bad or lazy players who got destroyed by the bosses and gave up so they can't appreciate this dlc.I don't know what problem the idiots who vote for 0 have. Especially real time action games. All of the bosses are godly designed and some of them include some twists. All of the musics for bosses are really intense too.

    Fighting same bosses with different characters has some weak and good points. Like some bosses became so much satisfying to beat because of the increased difficulty about those characters. But the weak point is that it wasn't the most entertainin part of the game.

    Kh3's combat has been always one of the most satisfying part of the game if not the most. But it lacked something that was in the other games. Fastness of the combat. Yeah it was fast but not life the kh2. And with this dlc you're given some abilities that makes you feel like a god. It's so fluid now that i can easily say it's one of my best combat systems in games general. Probably close second to dmc5 which has a completely different combat system that is mostly combo driven. Kh3 is not like that.

    Not just the abilites made the combat better. The new weapons(keyblades) are one of the good points of remind.

    Sometimes we see the other side of the cutscenes it was fun but again sometimes we just watch the same damn long scenes and it's probably the biggest minus in the dlc.

    There some new moments in the story with new cutscenes and this just didn't solve storywise many problems in kh3 but made it a lot better.

    yeah this is all i can say for now but i really really recommend this dlc. it's one of the best dlcs i've ever seen but probably not the best. remind dlc with it's new combat additions kh3's combatwise potential has been fullfilled and became so satisfying with new bosses and it's story became far more interesting and confident about itself.    … Expand

    For it's price, i'm actually a little dissapointed with this DLC. Cutscenes from the main game, just with added dialogue which they could've added in the main game perfectly. Yet to discover the Limit Cut Episode, but overall the price is not worth getting it. I do have to add that graphic wise the game still looks stunning!     I'd pay another 30$ just to get more Superboss, the bosses are really fun and well designed. Osaka team redeemed themeselves with this DLC.

    Honestly, this review section as of 1/25 just goes to show how awful metacritic and the whole process of rating DLCs is, especially since most fans seem to love this DLC. Yes, I would've very much liked to see this stuff in the base game, but I won't knock the base game for it not including this stuff, and I especially won't knock the DLC for not being released a year ago, since that's just juvenile. So here's my take, since I think that 95% of these reviews are sorta dumb and are clearly missing just how crucial this DLC is.
    OBVIOUSLY KH3 SPOILERS BUT NO DLC SPOILERS!
    ReMind Scenario:
    In my opinion, the titular portion of the DLC is probably the weakest part of it, though that's not to say that I didn't enjoy it a lot. It added some much needed explanation about events that happened during the main game's story like how Aqua just gave up and died, though I don't think that some things like Xion's return needed to be explained as that's literally what the plot of the Toy Story's world was centered on. While the latter half of this scenario was bombastic and had amazing production value and left me very satisfied, I felt that the first two hours or so were quite filler-y. Yes, they added new playable characters which brought interesting twists to these battles, but one thing I really took issue with was that it made you replay the ENTIRE ending portion of KH3, cutscenes included. And since some cutscenes had new stuff while others didn't, there were many times when I sat through a cutscene I had already seen 20 times before, just because I didn't want to miss anything new. Overall, I liked this part, but it could've been handled better, so it's probably the only reason I can't give this DLC a 10.
    Limitcut Scenario:
    This is single-handedly one of the best things to ever happen to Kingdom Hearts. Everything, from the bosses, to the presentation itself is superb. The design of the bosses and the process of learning their patterns is executed so well that it might just be on par with KH2's data bosses, if not even better. This is the most fun that KH has been in YEARS, possibly the most fun it's ever been. Osaka team really stepped their game up with these fights by giving everyone brand new move-sets and unique weaknesses that challenge the player in numerous ways while still being fair. The 13 new songs that Yoko Shimomura composed for these fights instantly became some of my favorite songs in the series from the moment I first heard them. The quality of these fights is just so ridiculous that I'm still recoiling from it and trying to wrap my head around the fact that KH3--the game that got panned by the community for being too easy, not having enough interesting boss fights and reusing too many old songs---is the same game I was playing throughout Limitcut.
    Secret Episode (and some more stuff about Limitcut):
    To be honest, I was kinda hoping that this would be more like BBSFM's secret episode, but it really just consists of the secret boss fight. Still though, the story that plays out throughout this fight is very engrossing and the secret boss itself is VERY fun to and is arguably one of the best-designed bosses in all of KH. Between this and the Limitcut Episode, I genuinely feel like we've hit a turning point in the quality of Kingdom Hearts' gameplay design and it's quite literally at its highest high right now. Seriously, the new fights they've added are literally game-changers, so much so that even prominent KH players who were critical of the original game are raving about how great these fights are. Not only will they take you a while to get through the first time around, but the replay value that's created by the depth of these fights is incredible. The secret fight alone is gonna keep people entertained for years and will go down in KH history as being immensely replayable and interesting.
    Concluding thoughts:
    ReMind was about 5-6 hours, Limitcut took me a day on standard and I'm still not done on critical, while the secret episode alone took me nearly half a day. Not only that, but I've had a lot more fun with the new photo mode than I expected to as it's surprisingly robust. The new Fast Pass and Black Code modes have also added a lot of replay value to the main story and give a ton of opportunities to experiment with the game some more. I feel like $20 would've been a nice price point, but between all the new things and they've added, all the response to fans' complaints and arguably the funnest set pieces/fights in all of Kingdom Hearts, ReMind is absolutely worth its asking price and I really feel like most who say otherwise doesn't understand the significance of this DLC.    … Expand

However, if you're into the combat, hard bosses, and memes then this DLC is made for you. The LimitCut bosses add 13 new bosses that super challenging, fun, and well designed. And I would say that they're more fun than KH2's data battles. They add what Vanilla KH3 was missing, challenging bosses. I have beaten them all on Crit and I can't wait to go back on my Level 1 file and do them again with Pro Codes enabled. Then the Secret Episode Boss is great, by far and away the best boss in the series, takes the crown away from Linger Will. Super fun to learn and to execute that fight, and the story elements that are added along with him are pretty cool. Plus there's EZ Codes and Pro codes, which offer some unique ways to play and challenges for players. And last but not least Data Greetings which is a meme machine. The amount of great memes and user scene creations I have seen come out of it have already proven to me it was a perfect inclusion in the DLC. All in all I couldn't have asked for more from the DLC even with the Remind story retread. However if you're a person who only wants more story and doesn't care about challenge then I can see how this DLC is not worth it for you, but $30 is a good price point for this DLC from my standpoint.… Expand

    Honestly, not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I get why people would have an issue, but it’s a nice addition to the story that sets up the next saga.

    the scenes from DLC were the same all from the trailers but it was different than i thought and it wasn't bad for me and data replica is good hard and only problems that i think this DLC have is the price and this DLC it could have been longer but al the rest is real good

I really enjoyed the dlc but I stupidly used my clear data for kingdom hearts 3 as my limitcut clear data because I didnt want to replay remind twice. reminds final battle is incredibly fun. the additions to scaela al caelum are amazing and the final battle with mickey is one of the most beautiful things youll see on the ps4. it looks like to deliver that level of quality they padded out the rest of the dlc. its not really worth the money but if you make it to the end the end sequence with mickey is really impressive.… Expand

    So is it worth it… well clearly I don’t think so. I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty, it sounds good and there is a charm to the characters… but the DLC really doesn’t add much to the main game and what it does add is kind of just punishment in one form or another. Maybe if you are a hard core fan and just want as much of this IP as you can get… otherwise, there are better things to spend your money on.

    Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind is designed for true fans of the series, being the Final Mix that fans were waiting for. But its high price, even for the most loyal ones, is undoubtedly its weakest and most critical point.
