    It's pretty, and has interesting fresh ideas. But, at 2 hours long (really worth only the one playthrough) I felt like its best suited as a short experience than a 'game' in the traditional sense. Not bad, but you won't pinch yourself for not trying this.

    I actually dont know what I think about this game... It has nice graphics and mechanics, sand looks great, the setting is awesome. And the game is about...journey to where exactly? I didn't quite get it... Only try this if its free, otherwise You may be left just like me - wondering about what was that all about?

    Finally got around to playing this. It centres on some interesting philosophical ideas. Satisfying and short enough to play in one sitting. Visually, it will hold up for a long a time due to its art style. Sound track fits perfectly and is well orchestrated alongside the gameplay. Journey is okay, yes I know life is a struggle where people fade in and out and die...I didn't need a very short lame platformer to tell me that. OK so its got some nice scenery and was fun to play through once. Still decidedly average in my view. It irks me that a game like this can be rated so highly with the limited play time or value you get out of it..… Expand

    Great game, confusing at first, but once you get a hang of it you will start to understand it more and more. SCEA did a good job with the design, and the graphics are really good.

    Es un juego precioso, se que es un remaster y no llegué a jugarlo en PS3 pero a mi me ha gustado mucho tanto los gráficos al ver como se ve la arena, el ambiente, las ruinas, todo y su banda sonora que te mete dentro del propio juego. Es interesante ver que te encuentras con otras personas online, es decir. que sigue habiendo gente que lo juega aunque hayan pasado muchos años y es originalEs un juego precioso, se que es un remaster y no llegué a jugarlo en PS3 pero a mi me ha gustado mucho tanto los gráficos al ver como se ve la arena, el ambiente, las ruinas, todo y su banda sonora que te mete dentro del propio juego.     Won't be surprising if i say i love this game. Bought it on both PS3 and PS4 and would by on PS5 in the future. Everything about it is nearly perfect and i wish there were more ppl playing it online so i could get my trophies for completing it with a partner ;)

    Journey is the ultimate art game. The player controls a robed figure on a journey through a desert towards a distant mountain, which can be seen from the beginning. Gameplay is very limited, there are no puzzles to solve nor enemies to shoot, but the beauty of the game is its vistas and the experience of meeting random strangers online and marching forward together. Upon reaching the cold mountain traversal becomes more difficult and then the final act is an awesome combination of fantastical vistas and music, unmatched by any other game I've played since. This game lasts 4 hours or so, but you should do yourselves a favor and play this game even if it is rather short. It's quality that matters, not quantity.

    As a side note, the PS4 version technically runs better (1080p and 60 fps) than the original did on PS3 (720p and 30 fps). There is a minor downgrade in the way sand is rendered compared with the PS3 version, but most people won't even notice. The game's still beautiful.    … Expand

    I love this game, i will never forget the first time i finished this. it can be silly if you not playing with open heart, but the soundtrack and unique design can make you feel your are in a buddhist world or something like.

    This game has beautiful visuals and sublime soundtrack with a story that is open to interpretation. Unfortunately, I didn't have much interaction with a couple of players that came across during my play through, which I think can change the whole experience. Overall it's a game that has been worth experiencing it but that I doubt I'll replay or remember in a long time.

    Not much to say here, the game is nearly perfect! The graphics are awesome, the soundtrack is (if not the best), one of the best ones i've ever had the joy of listening! The game is a MUST HAVE for PS4 owners that like good games! Even though the game has no dialog at all, the lore is surprisingly touching, can't recommend it more!

    Journey is by far the best game that I have ever played. Never before has a game given me such a strong emotional response and attachment than Journey has. The graphics and music are stunning, the game mechanics are fluid and fun (especially the flying aspect of the game).     I think that I got to Journey in the worst possible road. I remember hearing about this game almost immediately after it was released because everyone was going bonkers of how good it was. All this story tells you is that I can't say that Journey impacted me the way it did to that many players back then, but even then i have to commend the developers for making this incredible experience, even if it is short and not very replay value apart from trophy hunting. The game looks absolutely amazing, the sounds, music, everything just sort of fuses together. I remember comparing Abzu to Fantasia, and that doubles for Journey even more. I can say if you have the chance play this game, it is a very fascinating experience, even if you get to it late like i did, sometimes, the "Journey" is worth it.… Expand

    t's amazing how even today Journey is a unique experience with its minimalist look and using only visuals and sounds it manages to make the story it wants to tell very clear, our journey starts in the middle of an apparently empty desert and our final goal is the summit that we see on the horizon without any CG or dialogue the goal is always clear.

    This is undoubtedly what makes this game so remarkable, it's amazing how That game company can make us bond with a complete stranger with whom we only communicate through small sounds and gestures, I still remember the 2 companions who helped complete this path, despite its short duration Journey is rather a great game that brings something different and unique.    … Expand

А всем остальным тут ловить вообще нечего! Тут даже бронза выбивается за то, что зашёл снова через неделю)))) видимомало кто рискует это делать вновь! А так обычная адвенчура ( или как ее там?).     Honestly, I forced myself to finish it, so this review could be written with full overview of the game, and not just the first chapters.
    Even though it may be called beautiful by some, it is simply not fun at all.
    Just running, running, running, kind of little puzzle, running again, etc.

    Contemplative game, without difficulty or challenge for the player. Just pick up your controller, turn off the lights and relax. Like other games in this genre, its great virtue lies in its beauty. It's short, very short, I finished it in an afternoon. It's beautiful, but I like games with some kind of challenge. Even so, it's a recommendable game, you don't lose anything for finishing it.

    Don't get me wrong, it is a visual treat, and the music is good. It's also a neat idea to have a random companion join you on your, well, journey. It's interesting having that companionship there despite the limited interactivity. The final moments of the game are also really strong and act as a touching climax.

    However, beyond that, there's not much to Journey. It's a very simple and short game, which isn't a problem, but in the roughly 2 hours it took me to finish it, I never really felt affected by the game. There's not much in the way of gameplay and there's no challenge, so your enjoyment of a game like this hinges on whether or not it can engage and entertain you by other means. Unfortunately, I didn't find the wordless story or Journey's other elements to be super compelling. It has its moments, but I don't get the hype.

    It's a decent, very pretty experience, and I like some of its ideas. Artistically, it does have some value, but as a game, it's one I was a little disappointed by.    … Expand

    This game is a 10, one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I have ever had. Beautiful with great music. Coming across another player is magical and feels meaningful. There should be more games like this in the world.

    The music and visuals make this game a must play. Its definietly not something you are going to sink a bunch of time into but at this point the low price point and low demand of time i'd recommend everyone with a ps3/4 give it a try. I really enjoyed my time with it and look forward to going through it again sometime in the future.

    It's a decent game, but it's less than 2 hours long and offers no replayability. The gameplay is solid, albeit extremely simple, and you can tell it's been designed to be played once and put aside. Not BAD, but not great.

    This game is worth to buy 10/10. Buy it. Its just so peaceful, the story is good and the world just looks...
    nice. Its good to leave the shooters or other fighters and play something quieter...

    8.7 из 10. Очень хорошая игра, учитывая, то что я её взял на халяву. В ней шикарно все. Графика, саунтрек, гемплей. Хорошая кооперативная игра, где ты должен бок о бок ходить за своим напарником чтобы не помереть.

Yo soy un gran fan de esta clase de juegos, y he jugado a cientos de juegos artísticos, pero este, no entro. El problema con Journey es que es muy corto, se siente muy incompleto y el precio es de 15 dolares. Lo he terminado en una sentada, en 2 horas, y que he entendido del universo del juego? Nada... Absolutamente nada... Bueno, quitando de que eres un "viajero" y tenes que llegar a una montaña, y después al llegar te convertis en una luz y... ya esta. No hay explicaciones de quien eres, que haces ahi, quienes son los sujetos vestidos de blanco, que son los restos de esa civilización, los que te arrancan parte de la bufanda... NADA! Muchos dirán de que el juego es emocional, bello, una experiencia audiovisual, a libre interpretacion... Es que, es ese el problema. La música y los gráficos cumplen extraordinariamente bien! En eso no hay quejas... Como experiencia, el juego cumple. Aunque gráficamente se ve bastante pálido en zonas oscuras, porque la PS4 no tiene la paleta de color negro, igualmente esta genial. Y el personaje principal, si bien no tienen ni carisma al no hablar, sus animaciones y su diseño son interesantes. Pero ahora hablemos del problemon del juego... La jugabilidad... Y es que la jugabilidad no intenta nada. Es que no intenta nada nuevo a comparación de otros juegos del mismo estilo. Haber, yo soy de los que piensan que innovación no quiere decir calidad, y que un juego que no innova, si cumple y tiene algo interesante, puede ser un muy buen juego incluso. Pero Journey es simplemente caminar de un punto A a un punto B, resolviendo puzzles super sencillos y la historia es inexistente. No hay ninguna explicación para todo lo que has hecho. Se supone que es un juego abstracto... pero es tan excesivamente abstracto, que parece hecho así solo por pereza. Al terminar el juego no hay nada mas que hacer, salvo empezar de nuevo y conseguir todos los trofeos... Que desaprovechado... El multijugador también... Podrías explorar mas partes del mapa para encontrar coleccionables.... podrías tener un recuento de las personas con las que jugaste en todas tus aventuras.... Ni siquiera lo intentaron. Y hablando del multijugador, no me habría enterado del online si no lo hubiera googleado al ver nombres de personas aleatorias al terminar la partida. Quitando la música y los gráficos, no hay ningún punto realmente positivo, mas alla de que ciertas personas lo vean como una "experiencia audiovisual atractiva.... Que es esto? Una película? O un juego? Porque hay juegos que parecen películas que son muy buenos juegos, esto no es ni siquiera una buena película, ya que todo queda al final a libre interpretación, y si bien esta bien que hayan secretos en la trama, que la trama se base únicamente en secretos, resulta en dar lugar a un producto sin trama y hecho a las apuradas....     This game would've been more enjoyable if I played it when it came out. I only played it recently and just didn't enjoy it much. It is a unique game. Maybe I will play it again and then I will be able to enjoy it more.

    Pretty good game. Nice story, nice interactive, nice physics, and difficulty. At the same time, I didn't feel anything special about the game and no attachment at all. Probably it's a one time entertainment.
    The game also reminded me of Prince of Persia 2008.

    One word: masterpiece!
    The game is short (around 2 hours to finish it) but awesome. The music is beautiful, the graphics are nice, the story is deep and the ending is spectacular. We need more games like this!

    Of course there’s almost nothing about the plot, but visual narrative makes you empathize the characters, and sometimes you can meet some players, that are playing in the same as you.I’ve been playing this game when COVID-19 started, and Sony were giving away this game.And during the quarantine many players where playing this game, and approximately at the half of my play trough I met a player who were playing right now, and we’ve got to the end of the game together.None of the games I’ve played provided me such pleasant and relaxing, and at the same time friendly experience as much as this game did.

    Ce genre de jeu où même seul devant sa télé, on s'émerveille et on lâche des "woooh" à voix haute. Une vraie merveille ! Et quelle joie de réaliser la présence d'un autre aventurier, quel jeu d'essayer de communiquer avec lui sans texte ni voix. J'ai un souvenir génial d'avoir fait le finish du jeu au côté d'un compagnon d'infortune.

    This game is truly beautiful, I had such a blast playing it. Consider playing this game if you:

    - Appreciate art in games
    - Like a slow placed relaxed experience
    - Don't mind paying for a game that is only about 2 hours long and has close to no replay value

    If you do you don't regret it.

    5 horas......as melhores horas que já tive em um videogame, pra alguns isso pode soar um exagero, mas ao embarcar nessa jornada eu senti mais do que em qualquer outro jogo, vivenciei momentos emocionantes com um jogador aleatório que pode estar do outro lado mundo...e isso é incrível, de mais não consigo nem expressar o quão pessoal e poderoso esse jogo é pra mim.

A bit like with 'Shadow of the Colossus' there's a reverence to this Playstation exclusive game that paints it as something truly special. I can appreciate the best things it has to offer. I liked the challenge of finding a co-op partner. I liked what that could mean in terms of trying to clear collectibles (as in they can get cleared before you get to them yourself). I appreciate that the game has ideas that do unexpected or untried things, for at least at the time. It's fine, but I can't honestly put this up there with the like of the best gaming has to offer during this generation, no way. I mean, this is a top 10 or 20 placing on Metacritic, right? It feels like this is basically a competent mobile puzzler / platformer to me. The rudimentary controls definitely suit it. And it's up to 2 hours at the high end/max to do a full run of the story.

    All that being said, it's not like I had to pay for this title as of writing. It came free through a Sony initiative for anybody with a Playstation. Generally though, this 'should' be very cheap as like I said, it could easily have been a strictly mobile gaming thing.    … Expand

    For me Journey and Inside are like the two sides of a coin. They have similar gameplay mechanics, great atmosphere, easy puzzles, a little platforming and they both focus on story.

    El juego es espectacular estéticamente y la banda sonora es una pasada. Se hace un poco tedioso a veces y es excesivamente corto, se acaba en seguida para el precio que tiene me parece que deberia ser algo más extenso.

    It is not a game for those who just like AAA, it is much more contemplative and brilliant. About Platinum, it's very simple, you just need to find all the few collectibles and be lucky to find a player who finishes the game with you, which is very easy.

    This game is a truely masterpiece! An amazing art!

    Everything in the game is at its best, graphic is great, the music is like a voice from heaven, control and camera are smooth and satisfying, the story is short and simple but full of emotions.

    It has been made by a group of artists. I was crying at the end and I will never forget this masterpiece.
