I've played this game countless number of times on the PS3. I will play it countless number of times on the PS4. It's not your typical piece of entertainment. It's not something that hemorrhages explosions, gore, or lengthy cinematic cut scenes to tell a story. There isn't even dialogue! It's a tribute to minimalism in every single way. This experience is not for everyone, but if you are an avid gamer with a hunger for a deep story and rich artistry, then it's a must. Expand

A very enjoyable and beautiful game, and something new you don't see that much. The game is defiently replayable for few times, and its enjoyable every single time. Though the game is only about 3h, but the gameplay makes up for it.

These games had some nice ideas but were essentially little more than tech demos. Despite its difficult development their third title is however something special indeed.

Journey opens with a cloaked figure awakening in the desert, heading to the top of the nearest sand bank you are greeted by a mountain shining in the distance. Instinctively you know that's where you should be heading, your journey has begun...

Other than a few simple puzzles Journey features very little traditional gameplay. Instead it is the visual and audio design, alongside the brilliantly implemented online multiplayer, that combine to make for a truly memorable (and at times even emotional) experience. At around two hours in length it doesn't take long to play through but Journey well and truly ends the debate as to whether or not video games can be considered an art form.

One of the most surprising and delightful finds of my two decades as a gamer. Journey was a powerful reminder of the need for wonder, introspection and connection with others. The short playtime also adds to the experience in a way, I don't know how to explain it, its just remarkable and worth experiencing for yourself.

Journey is an absolute masterpiece of a video game. It may be short, but it is by far the most beautiful game I've ever played. An incredible soundtrack that will leave you in awe, outstanding graphics and views, simple yet immersive gameplay; Journey is not something you want to miss.

Journey is an experience that is a privilege to partake in. It evokes a range of emotions from joy and wonder to fear and heartbreak. The visuals are a sight to behold. It is simple, but not simplistic. It will make you ponder life, friendship, love, loss and triumph. Journey deserves to be experienced

The unreal graphics, the beautiful soundtrack, the wonderful moments that occur in co-op and the neat narrative. It's undoubtedly one of the best experiences anyone can have this generation. And to cap it off, it's currently free on PS Plus. I would recommend anyone with good headphones and a quiet room to play this game (it'll only take 2 hours of your time).

Playing Journey back in 2012 was one of the most memorable gaming moments I had had that year. I only played it once and that was all I felt I needed to do with it as the title was such a unique storytelling experience that moved me in ways few other titles could.

Now in 2015, developer Thatgamecompany have re-released the game for a new generation of gamers and those who want to revisit what is arguable one of the best indie titles ever made.

The concept of Journey is as simple as they come. The game starts out with no loading screens, opening titles or cool transitions, it simply opens with a prompt to press the X button to ‘begin your journey’ and that’s about it.
You are introduced immediately to our protagonist of the game, but presented in a way that it feels like an extension of the player, as weird as this sounds it is something that can really only be understood once you play the title yourself.

From here you are presented with a vast desert landscape glimmering like jewels under a warm sun, there are no objectives given to you apart from subtle camera angles pointing towards a distant mountain with a bright light at the top.
This is all you need as Journey presents itself in a way that you will not need on screen prompts telling you what to do, the game just flows and guides you effortlessly through your own exploration and intuition of what it is you need to do, This a truly refreshing way to play a game that makes me, as a player feel like I am about to venture into the unknown and create my own story.

And boy does Journey pack a punch

As you find your way through the opening segments of the game you will begin to build up the ability to float and jump around the world, this is done by finding ribbons around each ‘level’ that add to a scarf your character wears and you can see how much juice you have left by the scarfs bright white patterns glowing.

it’s a mechanic that works very well and has similarities to other games of similar style, but is also truly unique and doesn’t distract from the overall dream experience that Journey presents to you.

Eventually you will come across another being just like yourself, who is in fact another player.
Thatgamecompany have implemented this multiplayer aspect in one of the coolest ways possible, You never find out who this other player is and you cannot communicate with them via voice or text either, the only means you have is by holding the O button to call out with musical notes. It is effective and a great way to adventure with your new partner that keeps in with the tone and atmosphere of the game.

From here on you will both explore landscapes and experience a moving adventure together as you both find your way to the mysterious top of this mountain in the distance, traversing raging snowstorms and huge underwater themed landscapes is truly a sight to behold.
One of the biggest draws for the game also is the breathtaking score by composer Austin Wintory who weaves an intricate modern classical sound reminiscent of film scores by Dave Wingo and Craig Armstrong. The music twists and turns with the moods and visuals of each section you visit, the build up the final act is easily one of the greatest moments in soundtrack history and one that will certainly tug at the heartstrings.

And heart strings will certainly be tugged, Journey is quite unlike anything else out there- even after it’s original release 3 years ago, nothing can come even close to just affecting a video game can be with such simple mechanics. I was moved to tears on my first play through, and the the themes of life, death and resurrection have even more impact now in 2015.
It is a game that will affect every player differently as the themes, while direct (ascending to a higher place) are open to interpretation from personal experiences.

Developer Tricky Pixels were assigned the task of transitioning the PS3 version of the game to the PS4 and it looks glorious. Journey was always stunning to look at on the last generation but the upscaled1080p & 60fps visuals on the Playstation 4 are truly stunning and it certainly feels like this is the definitive edition of the game.

I am glad that Sony and Thatgamecompany have breathed new life into this amazing title once more.

Journey is proof that you don’t need AAA budgets and 100 hour long stories to create an experience that can immerse and move you, The game has and always will have a special place in my heart for being more than just a video game, It is an experience that opens your mind for reflection and can soothe a troubled soul.

Journey is absolutely magnificent. It’s basically a “journey” through a very beautiful world full of different types of terrain and seasons and some odd creatures. Journey is well worth its $14.99 price tag. It’s extremely short, but it delivers big, believe me. The buildup to the ending is epic, and having the feeling of accomplishment after going through storms and monsters, is truly rewarding. The gameplay is so simple and easy, but it balances it well with different types of interaction with objects and creatures. You may encounter other beings making the journey alongside you, which happen to be other real players, which I found out after I completed the game. I thought it was very clever, it will even show you the PSN ID’s of those players when it’s all over. The graphics are one of the game’s strongest aspects. The details and textures in the game are simply drool-worthy. It’s a technical achievement in so many ways. It’s some of the best graphics, if not THE best graphics ever seen in a downloadable game for any console.

Overall, Journey delivers on an epic scale. The buildup getting to your final destination is exciting and once you’re there it just feels glorious, it’s very emotional to say the least. More games like this need to be made. It’s so unique, epic, beautiful and rewarding. Games like this don’t come along very often. Journey is money well spent and should be purchased immediately if you haven’t already done so. With stunning visuals, simple controls, mesmerizing set pieces and an overall one of a kind experience, Journey should be praised. This is one “journey” worth taking.

The gameplay in Journey is pretty simple, and is based on exploring the environment looking for power ups that extend your flight capabilities, which helps you traverse more efficiently. The Graphics in the game are gorgeous and some of the sights you see are mesmerizing, with great detail done with the sand/snow giving this game a polarizing look. The game was smooth as well, and I never noticed any frame-rate issues in my play through. Now the story in Journey is really what puts it together, as you go from area to area, you will unlock more of the context surrounding your "journey" to the top of the mountain, but this is very much a story that you have to piece together and perceive yourself. Once I got to the end of the story and discovered what lied atop that mountain, I felt things inside me that few video games can draw out and that is what makes this a truly special game. I felt Loneliness, wonder, curiosity, all until the end. Journey is a short game, measuring for me at about 4 hrs, but those were 4 hours that I enjoyed immensely. Definitely a must play for PS owners.

This is one of the few games where the player can lose control of the camera be happy about it because the game does so with such grace by now providing the player with an instruction, or a new gameplay mechanic, all based around the camera doing a fluid push and focusing in another direction.

I have to comment on how much this game does things correctly. This is the type of game other developers WISH they could make. It is the only game I have played where the game displays a total of TWO on screen directions. The rest of the game is explained to the player through dialogue-less instructions. The camera may move to focus on something in the distance and by this the player assumes it is their goal. Lighting is also used to foster instruction. When a player is near another player they glow and by this we learn that we can rely on another stranger to be able to jump. The red glow during the snowy level indicates you can travel somewhat faster and more efficiently when near one another.

I've heard people write this off as an "art house" video game, but that clearly isn't the case at all and I wonder if we were playing the same game. This is very much an interactive and artistic world but it is also in the same vein as a jump and glide platformer such as Spyro on the PSone. There is a clear want for player success but it doesn't mean there aren't some puzzles and that does not mean there is not player skill involved.

All in all, this game is excellent on so many levels. I just wished to share my thoughts specifically on how the game instructs the player with NO WORDS, just visual and audio indications that all beautifully and tastefully exist within the context of the world. That specifically is something that almost no games are able to accomplish.

I first played Journey on the PS3 back when it was first- released and it blew me away - That Game Company kept their promise to delight and yet not pander to anyone expecting a repeat of Flow or Flower, and delivered yet another Unmissable experience.

An important thing to know right now if you haven't played Journey before; it lasts 2 hours from beginning to end, 3 if you go hunting around for extra elements, in a single playthrough. But to simply say 'oh, it lasts 2 hours in a single playthrough' means NOTHING - that two hours are the most densely, stylishly and althogether most gobsmacking 2 hours of gameplay you'll experience now, or in a long time. Its not an intense 'guns to the max' experience, its a sensory overload of neat moments and breathtaking pauses that make you forget that you're playing a game. And as for replay value, it has it in spades - you'll go back again because you'll want to perfect the way you play it, and then there's the brilliant online mode that gives so much to Sunday afternoons and cruising through the game with someone else, and helping each other out.

Forgive me, I'm probably raving insane about this game, but its at this point that overall I only ask one thing - that you even just try it, just once in your life.

Presentation is paramount of course, and the simple graphical style is beautiful of course. Then there's the soundtrack which is beautiful - bare in mind that its so good, that after all this time I've come to realise that there really aren't any sound effects throughout the game, but the game does not need them, the superb soundtrack answers for every moment.

The PS4 gives players 1080P 60FPS which is really rather nice, and if you like me bought Journey on the PS3 then the PS4 version is free (very awesome). In short, if you've never played Journey before, open your mind, give up an evening (or a fair few!!) and be prepared for the ride of your life.......

And the most special feature of this game is coop online. You will never know who is your companion until the credit end and the name of that companion will appear. And when nearly the end of the journey there will be a cutscene that show 2 player journey together through everything. You will care about your companion as your friend a lot. Sometime when they get caught by a monster, you will try to help them. You just can talk with him/her by pressing O, I mean give him/her signal.
The graphic to music of the game are super fantastic. The best music/ graphic I have ever seen. The game used exactly lightning/ shadows at the right time to give the landscape more phenomenal. The music also give you so much emotions and bring you to tears.
Overall, this game is the best experience on my life. Best game so far for PS3/ PS4 and this game may live longer everytime you visit the journey of JOURNEY again.

This game is a masterpiece. No game has left me feeling so emotional and calm. This is more than just a game it is an experience which I will never forget. Some may say it is short but I think the length is perfect for a game this minimalist. Visuals are stunning and if you like a deep, rich and engaging story- Journey is the game to play.

Definitely it's a short game but every minute is completely enjoyable. It's not about story or action, its about simple gameplay and enjoy graphics, sound, music; everything is artistic; it's a JOURNEY in which you can also meet online players randomly, i tought they were IA (PC). If you love art in games, you must buy this game.

The music and environments of this game are incredible. Nice and short story, don't expect to be playing this game for days on end. This is one of those standout independent games that flew under the radar when it came out in 2013 on the PS3. Glad to see they did a re-release.

While it's contents is limited to about 2 to 3 hours gameplay, it is re-playable for both trophy collecting and also just because it's so mellow to play. It is arty and it is a game about the experience rather than the plot. There's a few poor reviews on metacritic, I can't understand how anyone can download this that knows it's reputation can then complain that its not a FPS or the like when they come to play it. If you liked flower, you will LOVE this, if you like things that are a little different then you will be blown away by this. It's a modern classic and alike the Shadow of Colossus will be a landmark game referred to in decades to come.

Journey is pretty amazing and it definitely stays with you as an experience even after you've finished playing. The obvious downside here though is the value for money with the game only being a 2 hour experience. I have to deduct a least 1 point for the short duration and relatively high dollar-per-hour cost.

If you want a unique, "minimalist" gaming experience that ranks closely with the likes of legendary games like 'Shadow of the Colossus' or 'Ico' then look no further. While Journey is short (a playthrough maxes out at 2 hours at best) it is made so intentionally. Here's why: by picking up the controller and beginning your adventure, you're going to have a moment in a similar vein to an attraction at a theme park -- an experience. Enjoying the visuals, the peculiar mechanics, and the underlying mythos of a world that sunk itself into sand over ages of war is key, as the game is tightly crafted with a goal to be emotionally engaging.

The single player experience is of course, natural and enjoyable. However, thatgamecompany (the developer of Journey) created an online function that separates it from the dozens of art house experiences in the gaming market. It is both fortunate and unfortunate that this feature had to be revealed, because my first time playing I had no idea the other Journeyer I encountered was a real person until the credits rolled. That was a magical experience because the game puts you together without any inkling of what is happening, who this is, and what you are to do together.

Beneath the mystery and especially the sparse game controls, lies a surprising amount of things to learn and do. The mechanics of the cooperative function aren't taught to you -- you need to discover them with your partner. While much of what you can do with the other player is optional, learning them together (or teaching them, if you already found them with another partner) is an absolutely endearing "hidden" feature to the game.

Deeper than it seems to let on, Journey is simply a game that everyone needs to try once. If you're skeptical of spending the money on it, do what you can to play it elsewhere first. Gameplay videos don't do it justice, you've got to try it for yourself.

Not everyone is going to appreciate what Journey has to offer, but by playing a solid run with a partner that you've learned to communicate with in your own way, you'll see a piece of gaming history that is sure to inspire many countless improvements and spiritual followers. Without a doubt, Journey has taken a broad step to redefine what it means to feel, discover, and appreciate while you play video games. I give Journey a 10 out of 10.

It's difficult to define Journey, it's so different from anything else. I can understand people who say it's overrated / boring, because it's so unique. Players who just play shooters / action action games might not enjoy this gameplay since it has absolutely nothing to do with most games. It won't provide the "adrenaline", fast paced intense action.

The game I'd compare this to would be Shadow of the Colossus (SOTC). While not as good as SOTC, it's not that far off. You have to factor in that this is a shorter game with a smaller price tag. So I'm awarding it a 10/10 bearing that in mind. If it had been twice as long, it could very well have equalled SOTC.

It's an amazing totally orchestrated set of songs that fit in perfectly with each level in the game. Reason 3: It makes you think. There aren't a whole lot of games that make you think out there. But this one makes you think about existence without a single word of dialogue in the game. The game's story is entirely portrayed through imagery. It's an incredibly simple and slow game, which may be a turnoff for some people, but if you give Journey a chance and take it for what it is, a journey through existence, it will make you feel things you never thought a person could feel.

I may be exaggerating slightly, but you know what, so are the negative reviewers.

I do not know why, but the end didn't hit me very hard, and in fact almost felt a little anti-climactic. I was happy, but not elated. It also didn't help my play-through that the other players I came across kind of ran off and did their own things. I have to say the game is stunning, it's nearly a masterpiece for what it is, a journey, albeit a short one, but a beautiful one that should not be missed. That being said, until there is a patch and the issues are resolved, save your money so you can experience this game start to finish without issues because it does hinder the experience. Not only that, but developers who release broken products and do not fix them in a timely fashion do not deserve your hard earned money. Research first, make sure the crashes are fixed, if not. So this is a game in which you go on a journey of your own(no **** The graphics are simple yet interesting and beautiful, especially in some parts of the game where the reflection of the sun is shown on the sand. The game is long enough for you to get really deep into it and short enough so that you don't become bored. The mechanics are simple and really fun to play with. The story is intense even tho no one says a word. Everything is easily understandable and really beautiful and fun. The game runs smoothly and without bugs. The only and i repeat THE ONLY bug I found is that when the game got out of the cutscene my character stood up and then sat down again. And that's it. If you are thinking of buying this game I highly recommend it. You won't regret it.
    SPOILER SECTION:
So I didn't know a single thing about this game. When I saw some pictures I thought it is yet another platformer. The part that especially blew my mind was the multiplayer, I thought this was a single-player game. For first 10 minutes of multiplayer I thought that it was an NPC, and not a person. Other players move so smoothly that you won't even think that it's a person(like me). I played the game once and haven't found a troll in the game(multiplayer). Every player I played with was cooperative and fun to play with. When the final cutscene was showing all the places I felt blown away. As I was seeing all the places I past I felt like I was watching a journal of a perfect story. Something so simple just blew my mind. From graphics to multiplayer and story everything just blew my mind. I was stunned by the quality of the game and I don't know if it's just me.
    FINAL REVIEW:
JOURNEY IS A DIFFERENT TYPE OF GAME. SOMETHING THAT HAS TO BE PLAYED IN ORDER TO FULLY UNDERSTAND WHY IT'S GETTING ALL THE HYPE AROUND IT. SOMETHING THAT IS JUST SO SIMPLE BUT YET SO PERFECT. UNFORTUNATELY AFTER THE FIRST PLAY, YOU CANNOT PLAY IT AGAIN WITH THE SAME FEELING. IT'S JUST THE GAME THAT IS BEST PLAYED WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF IT AND IN WHICH THE FIRST TIME IS THE BEST.

At the time I started playing the game I was not surprised enough by the visuals! I was struggling to walk as fast as I could in the punishing dunes. As my journey continued, I started noticing an emergent satisfaction with the conceptual art; my surroundings were astonishing! And the music which is the feature I loved the most about the game is superb! I was also attracted by the constant changes in the atmosphere, every aspect of nature is so well balanced to bring such a comforting setting! The blinding sandstorms, the windy currents, the flashy reflection of the sunlight in the golden-like sand, the coldness in the dark caves, the freezing blizzards, and above any natural interpretation, I could stand adoring the harmonious magic that surrounds you when flying the skies!
Journey is a passive game which doesn't demand that much tactics or awareness, it's all about enjoying the views. I didn't know that until too late when after a couple of tries I was frustrated on the peacefulness of the setting. At the middle of the game I paused (which you actually can't, the character just sits down staring at beautiful place in which he/she is) and breathed for a moment, accepting the fact that this game isn't for speedruns, neither accomplishments. "It's all about enjoying the view" I repeated myself.
I finally reached my destination, amazed by the conclusion, it couldn't end better. This is when I realized the game has it's purpose, to make the player seek the mountain because he's/she's commended too, but at the very end of the game, each one of them had his/her personal reasons, making all the game an analogy in which everyone seeks "his/her mountain".
Another big surprise at the end of the game [NO SPOILERS] was the message after the credits saying: "Players met" and then I realized I wasn't there alone, those anonymous characters showing up randomly where actually people online playing aside me! I was astonished .
If everything I just said isn't enough to grant this game a solid score, I'll leave my impression open to discuss. I started hating the game, criticizing reviewers by their lack of objectivity by thinking "maybe they were all high", by the end of the journey I proved my self wrong, this game has a long-run crescent satisfaction, full of surprises that you may not even notice until you are dinning, or working, or reviewing.
Games like this remind me that guns, wheels and game balls aren't the only genders out there. There should be more devs interested in representing life as its own, as beautiful as it is, as beautiful as Journey is.

When I first played Journey on the PS3, I couldn't get into it. I didn't get the point. It felt slow and unnecessary. So I gave it a poor review and moved on. It was free on PS+ for the PS4 last year, so I downloaded it and kept it tucked away in the games library, until after completing Nier Automata and needed something to fill the gap between the next big game.

    So I started to play.

It was free on PS+ for the PS4 last year, so I downloaded it and kept it tucked away in the games library, until after completing Nier Automata and needed something to fill the gap between the next big game.

So I started to play. Taking in the visuals, the sound, the atmosphere and suddenly it clicked. Journey is what it says on the box, a Journey. It's not about anything more than reaching your spiritual destination and taking in the wonders along the way. The game is a build up to a beautiful and mesmerising last act complemented by a haunting and moving soundtrack that (if invested in the game) can bring you to tears by the end. The sound track builds from calm flutes and woodwind instruments to a beautiful flowing and powerful crescendo using a wide variety of classic western and eastern instruments. The soundtrack as a standalone is worth purchasing.

Journey really is a special experience.

Journey is a piece of digital art, an experience. A small bit of escapism from reality. It is a relaxing experience, refreshing and thoughtful. Many modern games are all about stress: fast reactions, battles, violence and explosions. Journey is a rare break from the norm, a moment of relflection and peace. After playing I felt content, happy and warm.
Along my Journey I met other players in the world I traveled with some for a while and simply sat down and reflected with others, one I communicated with through sounds, it was a very unique experience.

The graphics are stunning at times, they are simple but the use of color and lighting add an artistic depth to the imagery that leaves a lasting impression. At one point the camera changes to a side angle while sliding down a sand dune into an ancient building, the sun is setting and the light shimmers off the ground making it look like water, if you took a screen shot and printed it, it would make a gorgeous framed picture.

As a game, it's basic, there's no skill needed but that's not the point, it's more like an interactive piece of art, the trophies are annoying, It's unfair to throw in silly trophies like finding 10 creatures or a desert flower. It breaks the experience and I didn't want it to be broken for the sake a boring collection trophy.

Journey needs to be judged different to the normal game type. That's why I can happily give the game a 9. Compared to masterpieces like The Witcher 3 or Dark Souls this may seem strange to rate a two hour game a 9, but in it's own category it achieves brilliance.

Journey will be one of those games you will mention when discussion games as art and will stay with you as a a great gaming memory.

You just have to play it to understand why that is. Also keep in mind, you have to go in to this game with zero expectations. Go in with a completely empty mind, it will make it all much more immersive. It did

The game does an incredible job at evoking emotions through the way you interact with the world and other players you may, or may not see in the game as they go on their own journey. As I progressed through the game, I found myself so in the moment all the way through and I didn't want to stop playing, and when I finally got to the end, I was almost sad that it was over. This game is the embodiment of the expression, "its about the journey, not the destination." an expression that people may or may not agree on depending on your view on life, but after playing this game, I'm sure you will believe it. there are lots of games that have gotten me to tear up a little bit out of sadness, but very few have ever got me to shed tears of joy. This game does everything it sets out to do perfectly without a single flaw in my eye. for those looking for a challenge or steller gameplay, you wont find it here. For those looking for a meaningful and unforgettable experience, play it. not to say the game play isn't good, it adds a lot to the game, very relaxing and feels very natural, but its not the reason the game is so good. The reason this game is so great is because of how well it evokes emotions with such a simple story and game mechanics, relying on its visuals and the context of the player's role within the world. If you enjoy this game as much as I do for these reason's I would highly suggest playing other games like shadow of the colossus and Ico on playstaion 2 or the ported version of these games on playstation 3. I cannot praise this game enough for being so simple and yet leaving such a huge impact on me. I don't think everyone is going to necessarily get what I got out of this game, because the enjoyment of this game is completely based on how much the game resonates with you. If the game doesn't speak to you then all your left with is the gameplay which is fun and relaxing but in itself nothing really special. This isn't really a flaw, because it is pretty clear that this game was meant to be looked at as a piece of art. Even though the Mona Lisa is undeniably one of the greatest paintings in the world, it literally means nothing to me and that's fine, if this game means nothing to you that's also fine, but you cant deny that it is one of the most beautiful games of the last generation of consoles. Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is too slow of a burn to engage the players, Ether One doesn't have a good enough story and payoff to validate the memorization and constant retreading. Journey may be shorter than these and other games similar to it, but the major difference is that Journey is enticing and made my smile.

Beautiful, beautiful game! Truly a perfect work of art! I read a review that talked about how this game is boring and all you do is walk on sand. So I guess this game is not for shallow, uneducated, or ignorant people. It touches on philosophy, spirituality, and beauty! It was beautiful in 2012 and is beautiful now. Definitely worth the $15 bucks on PS Store!

Beautiful soundtrack, breathtaking art style and visuals. Even though the plot of this short game is very mysterious and definitely requires some digging to piece together, the sheer experience that this game delivers without a single line of spoken dialogue (A lot like Brothers, actually) is incredible and needs to be praised. Buy this game, or at the very least rent it. You won't regret it.

Short games rarely warrant full marks or raving reviews, and you'll probably read that this game is something you have to experience to fully understand why subtle gameplay and well executed sound design led this to win several game of the year awards - it is precisely that. Os Gráficos podem não ser o pico do game além do mais ele é apenas uma remasterização, mas ele ainda mostra a mesma identidade. Eu achei que a adaptação para o ps4 não poderia ser melhor para um game como esse.

I generally like artistic games, and I did like Journey...just not as much as I thought I would. Maybe I built it up in my head too much. That being said, it is a beautiful game. The true beauty of the game comes after you beat it, when you start to think, "what was that?" I would really recommend reading what some theories on it - especially the "dying/death" one.
