    -It is just an audio/visual experience so there is no story and characters.

    Journey is a game that every player must experience once in their life. It is only 2 hours long so it can be finished in one sitting. For me it is one of the most unique experience I have ever had.

    Magnificent journey. First time I've seen this game many years ago on youtube and fall in love with it instantly.
    It's really great and I'm glad they export it on PC so much more gamers can experience this masterpiece.
    "Exclusive" games suck.

    Beautiful game that I can't help but always love. The seamless Co-op with people you have never meet and likely won't meet again is a wonderful addition. By the end I was a wreck while chiming away with a complete stranger who i hope also ended with the same feelings. Music and looks are top notch but my only gripe would be I wish i could play for longer in this fantastic world.

    This is one of the best games I have ever played. It isn't long. It will take you a little bit over one hour to complete your Journey or maybe you could stretch it to three hours if you want to observe every single corner of the world. It has no text or any speech at all, yet, it deliveres a beautiful story accompanied by a nice orchestral music.     A while ago I thought about which game is my all time favourite. I have always said that that game is either the last of us or red dead 2, but I actually think that it is this game. I like everything about it, story, graphics, music, feeling, the gameplay is very simplistic but it works for what type of game it is.     Journey creo que más que un juego, es una experiencia, y muy buena además. Como empieces a jugar, probablemente juegues hasta acabártelo. Es tan atractivo y bonito este juego que es un placer pasárselo. Hoy, 9 de febrero de 2022 me lo he terminado y ha sido una auténtica gozada. Felicidades a los creadores porque ha sido inolvidable.     One of the best games ever made imo. I really think in retrospect, this game made people look at Indie games more seriously and actually inspired many indie devs to go for ideas they thought wouldn't work or were afraid people wouldn't appreciate them.     Trust me, Journey is worth playing and is overall a pretty good game, but I think is quite overrated. I expected so much more and in some aspects let me down.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Eu comecei a jogar Journey sem saber de nada sobre o jogo. Nada. No começo eu já vi como aquele ambiente no deserto era lindo. O jogo tem cenas simplesmente incríveis.
    Com certeza Journey é uma experiência diferente de outros jogos, e por isso acho que é um jogo nota 10 para esse estilo de jogo. Eu tentei achar algum defeito notável no jogo.. Mas sinceramente eu não achei.
    A experiência que eu tive nesse jogo é única. O modo como o jogo se desenvolve é simplesmente único. Eu fui entendendo ele de uma forma muito natural: como o pulo funcionava, como que o canto afetava aquelas faixas voadoras, e etc. E o que eu acho que é uma das coisas mais incríveis é o sentimento que eu tive jogando com outra pessoa. No início, eu achei que era um bot que estava comigo, e que ele só me mostrava o caminho. Mas depois percebi que era um player de verdade, e por causa da utilidade que cada jogador tem como outro (como recarregar as faixas que fazem você pular e planar) e dos momentos que passamos juntos durante a jornada, foi criada certa relação de importância entre meu personagem e o desse jogador. No final, quando estávamos na tempestade de neve morrendo, eu senti muito isso. Eu senti que eu e esse jogador precisávamos um do outro para sobreviver. Eu nunca tive uma experiência assim antes.

    Foi uma das melhores "primeiras experiências" que eu já tive em um jogo. Nota 10/10    … Expand

    Это абсолютно новые ощущения от игры. Это даже игрой назвать сложно, гуляешь по миру с удовольствием, без миссий и заданий. Включил игру ночью просто глянуть, в итоге не смог оторваться и сразу прошел. Какого было мое удивление, когда я увидел список игроков, которых я встретил. Я даже не понял, что это люди, хотя задумывался о странном поведении ботов. Вообщем да, в это обязательно стоитЭто абсолютно новые ощущения от игры.     The visual style is good, the soundtrack and effects are great, but the game is limited. It's more like an emotional experience than a story, like an interactive painting. Worth playing it at least once.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this game. I got it for free through PS plus a couple of months ago and my only issue with it is that I wish it was longer. I have played through at least 10 times since getting it and each time I am surprised at how easily I get sucked into the story.

    ¿Que se puede decir de Journey? Sólo dura 2 horas y medía, pero es simplemente bellísimo, pensar que un indie tuviera tan alta calificación es impensable, pero es simplemente maravilloso.

    Unique game, can't be compared with any other. Amazing ambience, the emotion, the flow, the learning, etc...

    I think that game can be one of the most amazing game in play in nearly all Pc's. Because it has GORGEUS graphics and without 2-3 scenes never down 60fps. Have very good musics and cutscenes. A game to relax and chill.(If my English is bad I'm sorry.)

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Journey is a short game but a wonderful one. You start off the game by mysteriously waking up in the sand, and as you go throughout the first level learning your controls like any other video game it shows the player what this world is like and what the goal is. Once you make it to the second level you find another character with you, that player 2 makes the game what it is. The player 2 of the game is any random person who is playing the game. This is amazing as you dont know who they are until you finish the entire game. The person you are playing with could be your long lost twin and you wouldn't know until you finish the game. This pushes the players to help eachother as the only way to communicate is by using a sound button, because of this they have to work together without speaking to eachother at all, which this is a great concept as everyone I have played with on journey has been nice and helpful during the game.

    The game also centralizes this working together statement even later on in the game when you are able to be attacked by enemies who take your scarf which is how you can fly. When playing through the game you may try and help your partner but then have to leave them behind. These moments are somehow able to convey entire emotions as you try to signal your partner to follow you but you cant talk to eachother.

    While Journey is a short game with little exciting gameplay it is able to make you connect with anyone and have fun for the 2-4 hour game. 5/7 it's a good short game    … Expand

Se trata sin duda de uno de los mejores "exclusivos" de la década pasada pero que sin embargo es muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados por parte de los "exclusivos de Sony" (God of War, Uncharted...). Es un videojuego, podríamos llamarlo, de aventuras pero que sin embargo es"Journey" es un videojuego exclusivo de "Sony" originalmente lanzado para PS3 y que en 2015 se adaptó a PS4. Se trata sin duda de uno de los mejores "exclusivos" de la década pasada pero que sin embargo es muy diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados por parte de los "exclusivos de Sony" (God of War, Uncharted...). Es un videojuego, podríamos llamarlo, de aventuras pero que sin embargo es mucho más que eso. Está centrado en el disfrute emocional, sensorial y visual. Esos aspectos son los más destacables y hacen de esta entrega una obra de arte.
    La acción comienza en un basto desierto, aparentemente carente de vida y controlaremos a un ser extraño, de una civilización lejana. Nuestro propósito es abrirnos paso a través de ese desierto e ir descubriendo sus secretos, sus vestigios de una civilización antigua y poderosa, que poco a poco será cada vez más notable. Aparte del desierto, en nuestro viaje recorreremos otros entornos mágicos y delicados y nos enfrentaremos a peligros mayores. Poco a poco iremos recogiendo una especie de runas que nos otorgaran poder en forma de poder volar con mayor autonomía. Esto es importante ya que el tamaño de la "bufanda" del personaje depende de estas runas y cuanto mayor sea la bufanda más podremos volar y así superar obstáculos con mayor facilidad.
    El viaje en sí, en mi opinión, es el recorrido de la vida hacia la muerte. Empezamos siendo débiles, pequeños ante un mundo desconocido y enorme (hace referencia hacia la niñez). Después iremos fortaleciéndonos y adentrándonos en la acción, descubriendo el mundo que nos rodea (adolescencia) y ya cuando dominemos los controles y tengamos poder nos armaremos de valor para seguir (madurez). Por último, el frío de las altas montañas y sus peligros nos debilitarán y al final caeremos rendidos, sin fuerzas, para después iniciar el viaje final hacia una supuesta vida "postmortem" (vejez y la muerte).
    Es un juego hermoso, con bellos paisajes, artísticos en su mayoría y muy bien realizados, llenos de detalles y con cambios de escenarios. Además, la banda sonora es idónea para este juego, se adapta a las situaciones y escenarios, llenando de harmonía los paisajes.
    Otro punto positivo y llamativo a la vez, que además lo podemos asociar con las fases de la vida, es que podemos encontrarnos con otros viajeros (con jugadores reales y no NPCs) y proseguir el viaje junto a ellos, cooperar y hacer más fácil la aventura y hacerla menos solitaria.
    En definitiva, se trata en mi opinión uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado, bello y profundo, con una duración que variará según la rapidez de tu forma de jugar, pero que sin duda te llenará de emoción y te hará reflexionar al terminar tu aventura.    … Expand

    I was never intended to play Journey, but it's free on PS Store and I decided to give it a try.
    I really like how this game throws you in the middle of nowhere, without giving you any information yet it's designed in a way that makes it easy for you to understand what's going on.

    The set pieces and the mechanics are absolutely fantastic and the visuals are ahead of their time for sure.
    The music reminded me of Skyrim and I like it!
    I'm impressed...
    Even the multiplayer is cool and really interesting.
    My only complain about the game is the very limited gameplay.

    Went into this blind. Was a bit confused at first as people who got thrown in with me would do the puzzle for me. Once I got past that, WOW what a stunning game. Soundtrack is incredible, especially near the end where it nearly made me tear up. Very uplifting experience.

    Hands down my favorite game, it always puts me in a good mood and the reason why I give it a 10/10 is that there is nothing to add to it to make it better. It knows exactly what it wants to do and does it well. It might not be for everyone but I keep coming back to it every few months.

    The gameplay - the gameplay in the journey is very simple and fun, the game lets you use only two buttons - holding X will make your character fly, a short press on a circle will make the character make sounds, and holding a circle will make the character make a big sound that will attract pages The character's flight (yes the character has limited flight) and illuminate everything around him, the sounds the character emits when you click on a circle are like a light to the world of the game. To sum up the gameplay in the game is very basic but it does not need more than what it offers, because the story and adventure that you go through in Journey is the main and most important thing in the game.

    Final score - 8.5 / 10

    The story - the story in an amazing game, the adventure you go through is very fun, exciting, and touching. Without making you spoilers for the game, because this game is very short and the story is the main thing in the journey. In conclusion I will not say anything about the story of the game, and I will let you experience it for yourselves

    Graphics - The graphics in the game are stunning, lots of amazing and beautiful sections in the game, and really the graphics of the game made me feel like I was part of this adventure. In summary, the graphics are simply stunning, lots of fascinating and beautiful environments that the economy never stops bringing.

    A beautiful game, which although short is really enjoyable throughout. I have completed this game multiple times just because I can. To complete the game you are looking at roughly 2 -3hrs and it's not challenging which means you can look at the world that has been created and enjoy it.

    This brings my to my only real criticism of the game - your companion is a random person who is also playing at the same time as you are. you can only communicate via chimes. I would love to be able to add friends from my friend list and to play with them as my companion

    You play as a mysterious robed figure, you find yourself in a huge desert, the only thing you know to do is head towards a mountain in the distance. You will see other players also on their own journey, but you can't communicate with them. As you play you will soon figure out that you need to "activate" seemingly dull pieces of cloth, into vibrant colourful ones. You will collect things that will allow you to jump, and almost fly for short periods, you will run along desert landscapes, and then find yourself almost surfing down the other side of a hill. When I say it is hard to describe, it really is.

    You will explore ancient caves, as well as activate those aforementioned pieces of cloth, that will allow you to reach high up ancient structures, which in turn allow you to activate relics, that allow you to progress through the area.

    Although the game is relatively short (a few hours at most), there is a feeling of wonder as you traverse through the landscapes, if anything this feels more like an emotional experience than a game. When you finally reach the mountain, it truly does give off a feeling of wonder and accomplishment.

    I won't spoil the ending, and I have been careful not to give away too much, as this really is a game that you should experience.

    The Good
    The graphics are stunning, the soundtrack is beautiful. And if you were lucky enough to add this game to your account during Sony's "Play at Home" promotion, then you really do have a classic on your hands. I say this, as I did just that, back in July of 2020, Sony made a couple of games available for people to download and keep for free. I added the game to my account and then forgot about it, and only now have I started playing it. And I am happy I finally did, but annoyed I never played it sooner.

    The Bad
    The game is quite short.

    Overall
    Not many games can be sold on the experience it gives you to play, the emotion it provides, this is one of those games.

    At the time it felt original and there was nothing like it. Today, I'd still say it's a good game but the magic has somewhat dissipated and can be found elsewhere.

    It's meant to be short and simple. There's nothing wrong with that, and I think this is the best kind of that game I've ever seen. Replayability somewhat exists in the achievements and the experience of meeting different people (although it's pretty dead now.) Almost cried at the end.

Já é a quarta ou quinta vez que eu zero, e duas delas eu joguei com um companheiro aleatório. Journey consegue mudar as emoções do usuário de forma impressionante, principalmente na queda do personagem naquela vala sombria; antes de cair, o jogador fica relaxado com horizonte, mas depois isso troca bem rápido para um estado de medo. Outra coisa interessante é como o co-op tem seu papel importante. Jogar sozinho é uma experiência totalmente diferente, então recomendo zerar single e multi.     Oh man. This is definitively in masterpiece category, but I understand that it is not for everyone. Its very "arty" and soul moving, exactly what I like, but not what everyone likes. If you like art to touch your soul, you have to give it a try!

    One of the most unique and breathtaking gaming experiences one can have. Clever mechanics, puzzles, and controls combine with beautiful music amidst an incredible art style. The cinematic nature makes this brief title somewhat hard to replay, but this doesn't affect much. Everyone should play once.

    The aesthetic is incredible. It's mysterious and beautiful and atmospheric. Gameplay is straightforward but fun. Star is the drop in drop out multiplayer, which created some unexpectedly emotional moments. Downsides are length and replayability.

    I picked up the game when PlayStation gave it as a freebie but didn't play it until after a while. Who knew I had a hidden gem in my library all along. Its short gameplay length caught me off-guard, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I did however struggle to complete the trophies. Maybe another playthrough can help me get the trophies.
