    It was a really nice game for the first 10 hours max. Then it became a grinding machine game, trying to loot anything around just to progress. It kinda made me get bored of it really quickly.

    The best Open Word Game i played. The Word is just beautiful. The Roboter Monsters are so impressive and cool do fight with them and the Story is so interesting I just love it.

La exploración es brutalmente reconfortante. El Lore es muy bueno, el universo tiene mucha profundidad. Lo único que añadan más vida o posibilidades en las ciudades

    El Horizon Zero Dawn diría que lo mejor del juego es el apartado artístico, los colores, los lugares, las personas son de 10 igual que las maquinas claro. La banda sonora te expresa un aire de buscar, de investigar, de curiosidad y eso es maravilloso. Hay algo en que se diferencia del Zelda y es el sistema de combate. En Zelda esta el apuntado, lo que se invento Nintendo en el 98'. Horizon la pelea cuerpo a cuerpo bueno es lo peor del juego. No eh visto nada peor. En cuanto el tiro con arco, hacer las flechas, comprar o encontrar la armadura me encanta. Inova en lo lindo no. En lo lindo que se ve todo, diría que es la combinación de Zelda y The Witcher III.

    Horizon is still my favorite game by far. I don’t even know how to describe the feeling I got when I processed through the amazing storyline. Hearing the audio fragments you can find in the buildings of the old ones absolutely gave me chills. The voice acting is imo really good which made it sound so realistic.     I don’t usually talk up the story on games - even the best game story usually pales in quality and creativity to other mediums (literature, film). Horizon is the exception to the rule. The story is compelling from the first exposition scene and manages to keep enough hidden to hold your interest throughout the course. Even on multiple play through, this balance is felt. Voice acting is overall very good, with dialogue that mostly manages not to be too cheesy. But RPGs gotta RPG, so the tropes and cliches are still found sprinkled throughout - the just tend not to be load bearing.

    Look, if you haven’t picked this up yet on sale for 30 bucks or leases, what are you waiting for? It’s twice that in gameplay hours, easily, and one of the finest gaming experiences of the past decade. The sequel, when it’s released, will be the reason to finally buy a PS5.    … Expand

    Una persona, solo armada con su arma y muchos gadgets frente a una serie de amenazas robóticas gigántescas. Una planteamiento muy interesante, pero con una ejecución aún más brillante, al hacer que esa joven, Aloy, sea mucho más que una cara, sino que consiga brillar con luz y personalidad propia, haciéndose merecedora de un huequito en nuestro corazón ya desde los primeros compases de Horizon: Zero Dawn.

    CONCLUSIONES:
    Un juego magnifico con una historia realmente impresionante y divertida en un mundo abierto con unos gráficos espectaculares...

    The game was phenomenal, from the graphics to the story. Has some minor flaws but easily overlookable because of how good the game is. No game is perfect and in my opinion minor issues shouldn't change the outlook on a game.

On second side - not perfect technical part of the game with problem face animation in dialogues and etc., not the strongest story and plot, which doesn't give a chance to the game to be perfect.

    So, it is a massive game with beautiful world and landscapes (especially in The Frozen Wilds DLC), but not a masterpiece. In my opinioin Horizon stopped a step away from it.    … Expand

    This is a nice and very good looking open-world game with RPG elements. You play as a girl who lives in a wild world inhabited by different human tribes and full of dinosaur-looking machines. You are discovering the past of the world that once belonged to a different civilisation. You are discovering the past of the world that once belonged to a different civilisation. The story is not really a masterpiece but it is a fairly interesting story about another, sort of, post-apocalyptic world.

    Combat and exploration is pretty balanced and I never got tired of any of it. The only thing that lacks creativity is melee combat; it just does not look that great as firing arrows, which you will mostly be doing. Higher difficulty can give you a pretty challenging combat and if you are into exploring the world and following the main quest without having stressy fights all the time - the developers took care about it too.

    Weak spots in this game are side quests. They are typical RPG side quests (go there and kill 5 things, then go there and stealth kill another 5 things). Some of those quests will reveal more background to certain parts of the main story but most of them can be totally skipped.

    Another weak spot are face animations of side characters. They are not that good as face animations of the main characters. Here and there you will spot the same faces (there was some “copy-paste” work…).

    All in all, this is indeed a nice adventure game that might become a great franchise.    … Expand

    I love this game, from the awesome story, to the unique characters, to the beautiful open world. This game shines in so many ways that its difficult to see if there are any areas in which it doesnt shine.

It's a great, 20-30 hour game. Maybe not a 10, if the relations between people were more meaningful and the game was less linear overall that would be a 10.     In short, the game is good and fun, however I felt disappointed by the story and the charachters which I felt anonymous and I didn't care much for them. Hopefully the sequel will be improved in this aspect

    Fantastic and unique game. I found the combat very enjoyable. The world/environment itself is good, but not great in my opinion. I decided to get the platinum trophy in this and it was a fairly easy task, yet allowed me to enjoy everything horizon had to offer.

    While the game and character animations look great, transitions and cut-scenes sometimes lack a bit in cinematic quality. This is particularly apparent in interactions with simple quest givers or side missions: Characters just stand across each other for a while talking, with the camera cutting (and jump cutting) between them in a very simplistic way. The side missions generally fall a bit flat compared to the great main story, at least they never quite captured my attention to the same degree.

    To me it is a rather challenging game at its standard difficulty, although a rewarding one. Also, the game offers what they call the "story" difficulty level, which is great for players who just want to experience the story and prefer not to worry too much about the combat.    … Expand

    There are few games that come back into my mind moths after completion as much as Horizon: Zero Dawn. It's colourful world & excellent gameplay are wprth anyones time to see for themselves. Although the side cast can have very stiff feeling dialouge & personalities, the story in itself is enough to warrant a full 30-50 hour playthrough

    This is honestly the most boring PlayStation exclusive I've ever played. I'll give it credit for its graphics and world but that's about all the credit I can give.
    I see the story get praised a lot, but I found it to be a snooze fest. Whilst the game opens quite well it looses its pacing and quality straight after. The dialogue in particular turned me off. It was so boring and uninteresting I slowly found myself getting more distanced with the story as it went on and whilst the game ended well I didn't care much about the outcome because I didn't care about the main character or the supporting cast.

    The biggest issue for me however is the combat. The melee combat in particular.
    The combat feels so clunky compared to other games of the genre and it's a real problem. There's also hardly any weapons in this game and that doesn't help, neither does the dreadful crafting system.

    I also want to mention the side quests which are repetitive and boring. Often involving the usual old scanning and searching.

    So as much as I wanted to like this game I just couldn't. It was a beautiful game but one I lost interest in and in my opinion it holds no place amongst the greatest games of the decade like the witcher 3 wild hunt, the legend of Zelda breath of the wild and God of war for example.    … Expand

    .Boring and repetitive gameplay. AI sucks. NPC (town folks) not interact with player and monster when they encounter with. Transition from game to cutscene is just a dark screen that is all. Graphics, story and overall concept is nice. But could not stand the flaws

I didn't and that really messes up my sensitivity in other games and yeah, it matters to me. Also, in this game, there are many moments where ten machines just try to kill you all at once, and of course, you only have two thumbs at play and die within a minute. It is really frustrating and feels unfair. I think they messed up on that - games can be set to be challenging but they are also supposed to be fun. These defeated moments of human losing to machines just doesn't feel well-deserved and almost just maddening. Anyway, enough rant, and I would just say I bought this game in 2017 and just finished this month because I got frustrated at it many times over the years. And I am usually darn good at those type of games so it's not me. And I possibly won't buy the sequel unless there is absolutely no other game to play at the time. Which was what happened the first time they launched so lesson learned.… Expand

For the first time I saw the concept art of the game I have interested instantly, and when I saw the special prize how would I miss my chance to explore the game world. Horizon zero Dawn MC is charming, her name is “Aloy”. With her curiosity, brave, and big-heartedHorizon Zero Dawn is open world role playing game that amaze my mind. The story and gameplay is well developed and designed. The story is good in the post-apocalypse set up world, but the dialog is corny and mediocre when it is not in the cut scene. While playing, the game will make you curious as mush as possible, why the world come out like this and that give me a intention to play along. Enemies in the game has 2 kind robotic and human. For all the robots they are terrifyingly aggressive and that why they are great. They are well design and each one has their own weaknesses, and unique armor position, so that is why you need to change your weapon all the time when facing many kinds of robot. About human enemy, I am really disappoint. They are so stupid that I not really enjoy engaging with them, but I think it is understandable because the main enemy of the game is robot anyway. Fighting in this game is compelling, fighting with the robot in Horizon Zero Dawn is a great fighting experience I have got; it is so intense to fight with them (I started play in hard mode). It is not easy to fight them, I got killed many time LOL. The game gives you a device call “Focus” to make you fight easier. Using focus will make you see the weaknesses of an enemy, so you will know what weapon you should use against the enemy. Overall, I recommend you guys to play this game, and I am sure you will have good time with it.… Expand

    Shooting arrows at robotic animals and dinosaurs is always fun and the story is surprisingly awesome. Only real complaint is the sidequest cutscenes are really poorly put together and its almost laughable. Otherwise great experience. 93/100

    I was lucky enough to play it as soon as I bought a ps4. The game is incredible! The graphics here are incomparable!It seems to me that half of the time played in Horizon Zero Dawn( and this,by the way, is 150+ hours)I sat in the photo mode.The plot here I would not say that it is interesting,but some moments make you wonder.The ending could have been better.The enemies here are notI was lucky enough to play it as soon as I bought a ps4.     - The game has an insanely cool engine with pristine way of procedurally generated big an small object locations (watch engine technical presentation on youtube to see how technically beautifully it is done).
    - The combat system with monsters is fresh and variative.
    - Monster sound effects are gold, if I would be asked how these creatures would like for real , i would never come with this kinda strange sounds Gorilla made.
    - The whole story is insane and keeps you under emotions for couple of days after you finish the game.
    - Desing of technical elements in this game (monsters, cauldrons, NPC clothing) is unforgettable and deserver all possible praise.

    Sad things :
    Because they have no prev experience of doing quests and RPG, Gorilla hired 2 guys as key development people : one who was doing Skyrim and another one ,
    who was doing Fallout. As an outcome , we got boring and repetative quests like in Skyrim and crazy Fallout economy ,
    where money is an amo.
    If you are not a good in shooting, - you are always in constant grind for amo cause y need a money.
    I`ve spent 80+ our in this game and 60 hours i was grindind to buy needed suppplies or to refill my amo.

    Another thing that frustrates : epic moster encounters. There are epic first time monster encounters that are presented
    like something ordinary : you are easily facing thunderjaw in the middle of the day , when bidrs are
    chirping and butterflies are flying around. This completely destroys the tension and the whole danger
    mood. What was the problem with develop these encounters like a missions with forced switch of time of the day ,
    so you can face them only at night in complete silence to maximise uneasiness and horror atmosphere?

    Music is another boring factor : it is always the same violin squealing motives , like they are intended to keep your
    eyes wet the whole game. It works first couple of hours , but after that this constant whining makes you tired.

    Alloy personality is blank. There is not enough emotional tension in cutscenes face animations and body language, considering complexity and drama of the entire plot.
    Alloy reacts llike she is do not give a F in most of the cases, she does not express any feelings most of the time , her answers are
    flat and "i-do-not-care-lets-finish-this" kinda attitude. It is very hard to be emotionally invested in such kind of dry and blank protagonist.

    The story is shockingly good , the only problem is that in order to unwrap it all and understand , you need to turn each stone in order to find these stupid
    markers that will complete the storytelling. This activity is so boring , that i droppped it and after end of the game i just went on youtube and watched
    complete expanation fo the plot. I repeat : the story is amazing , but the presentation and merging the plot into the game is very bad.

    The map is overcrowded for the size of the monsters , pretty often "creatures" from different biomes are next to each other like in a subway rush-hour.
    This breaks game immerse a lot. They should either reduce amount of monsters on the map , or increase the map size x2.

    NPC are blank wooden decorations. They are emotionless wooden dolls.

    The game is very overhyped, on my oppinion though, i really hope that Gorilla will do better with second part.    … Expand

    And oh wow, what an amazing experience! I have been playing it nonstop for several days, and I'm having a real hard time putting the game down - it's very addictive!

    If you played games like the recent Tomb Raider games, and FarCry Primal, this game will feel very familiar - you certainly see where they took several of their ideas from, sometimes to the point of almost being copy & paste.
    But I don't mind, as those are some of my favorite games on the Ps4 - especially FarCry Primal.

    What really stands out to me in this game, are the fantastic enemy encounters you'll have with the games creature-like machines. You'll encounter anything from Horse-like creatures, to Raptors, elephants and even a gigantic T-Rex!
    These fights encourages lots of strategy, because some of them are VERY tough to best. They will charge at you, shoot at you, and even borrow under ground to launch an upward attack - it's all very impressive.
    I can't remember the last time combat in a game was this engaging.

    I also have to mention the visuals. Just wow, is the first word that comes to mind! Lots of effects, lush environments, and great character models. Aloy look really great, with her thick, beautiful hair blowing in the wind as you run through the open environment.

    Of course, not matter how fantastic a game is, it's never without minor flaws.
    And one that instantly comes to mind is a somewhat confusing gear-upgrade system. I feel like I never truly get the hang of it. It should have drawn it's inspiration from games like Fallout 4 for instance, as I loved the way you upgraded your guns and armor in the game - very intuitive.

    The climbing can also feel a bit finicky sometimes, and isn't as good and intuitive as games like reboot Tomb Raider for instance.

    These are very minor complaints mind you, and the game is a truly amazing experience. One of the absolute best games on the Ps4, and even one of the best of the last generation Imo.

    It gets a 9,5 score from me, with the title of "highly recommended"!    … Expand

    I have nothing to say perfect on PS4, better on PS4PRO in 4K much better on PC again in 4K with HDR, THIS IS MASTERPIECE, i cant wait for Forbidden West, but i hope for ONE PS5 in some store for me :) Mega fun, and re-playing game still fun. Very nice world, enemies, combat style. This game wil be fun for many years. I enjoy back the game

    I find that fans of Sony's works fall in love with pretty visuals above all else. I see more people marveling about picture modes than the actual games themselfves. The story is very original, interesting, but there is little going on in the world. It's vast, the environment is beautiful, but it is a sleep inducing game.     Graphically, HZD is beautiful. Photo mode can be abused to the full extent. The game features many areas that are so scenic and picturesque, that I was stopping a lot to admire and line up a good shot with the camera. What really shines in this game are the lighting and physicality of the environments. Rock formations can be destroyed, trees can be toppled and burned down, and fields can be trampled. The detail of the game world is amazing and a ton of fun to interact with.

    The gameplay of HZD is polished, easy to control, and rewarding to master. Movement and climbing feels seamless and just the right speeds, using the bow feels balanced and precise, melee combat can get a little funky, with the main character (Aloy) sometimes being pulled in to attack the closest enemy, so your plan of attack in melee might be overridden by the game forcing Aloy to attack whatever is nearest her. The enemies you face in HZD are varied, and require quick thinking and strategy to take down. The challenges in combat never get boring because the game refreshes you with a deep pool of opponents. Interacting with the game world via combat feels so fun. Using the environment to your advantage in stealth and open combat feels incredibly tactical and rewarding, and the game gives you ample opportunity to outwit and out maneuver your enemies. The difficulty of combat is determined by how you choose to play in any given scenario, and adapting to what the game gives you is paid back in spades with satisfying action.

    The story of Horizon: Zero Dawn (which I will not spoil here) is deeply, and movingly detailed. There is so much lore you can pick up by being curious and scanning environments, and having long chats with side characters. The cultures built within the game are so fun to immerse yourself in, and so cool to delve into the secrets of. The game offers choices, but overall, the story is linear with several consequences peppered in for how you choose to resolve certain things.
    The dialogue feels natural and meaningful to each character. A certain faction is very religious and exudes a 'holier than thou' attitude that is reflected in many of their conversations. Another faction is rough and blustering, and the characters speak with that aura. The conversations you have feel very authentic, and are acted very, very well by each artist voicing them.
    HZD's story has many twists, and although you can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the weight the game brings upon you, Aloy's determination and level headedness bleeds out to quell the tide of all the drama brought on by the game's events.

    HZD's music gives even more life to a rich atmosphere. Each area's unique qualities are enhanced by the music heard while in them. The game makes good use of silence, and uses its music to enhance not just the open world, but the tonal shifts in the game's story as well.

    Overall, Horizon: Zero Dawn is a deeply pleasing game that is hard to put down. Every part of it works so well with the others to create a very complete and fun experience.    … Expand

Amazing game with a unique story that offers hours and hours of playtime, if you choose to do the side missions and explore the beautiful world to find hidden treasures. There are some limitation to how much you can customise and times when the game becomes repetitive, but the occasional little surprises of encountering a new type of enemy, meeting an interesting character or discovering a new weapon or armour are more than enough to keep you entertained and glued to the controller!

    I must say that I'm more of a realistic person and I'm not a big fan of futuristic sci-fi games, but the idea of a game where you run around an open world hunting robotic animals with primary weapons to restore the balance and regain control, is quite unique and is definitely worth playing!    … Expand

    Only minus comes from the fact that I would've enjoyed a bit "clearer" worldbuilding. Some stuff was left a bit too open and unexplained for my taste, I didn't always feel like part of that world.

    Bow aiming is pretty messed up, especially when it comes to fire at flying enemies, but gameplay is pretty satisfying. Great story, fantastic views. Fights are interesting, although not really challenging. Also, climbing sucks- it is much worse than in assassin’s creed series, no comparison here.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Horizon Zero Dawn is a great success. It offers a fascinating world mixing antique tribes and high-technology robotics. What the hell at the first thought, right?

    Its world is so unique yet so credible. I love how the game manages to teach the player gradually more story elements throughout the game. There are two main storylines in HZD. One is more present-focused and consists of tribe wars. The other one is past-focused and that’s the one I loved because the story associated is fascinating. The Old Ones represent a big question mark when you begin this game, and the way you start to learn more and more through different elements of gameplay make it very intriguing.

    Linked to this, there is the artistic direction, the design of the world and the machines, and the gameplay associated to them. They are simply marvelous! The machines each have their own behavior, some more brutal than others, each have different attacks and weak spots. Their design is very cool and this contrast there is between tribal humans and ultra high-tech machines really makes the game stand out both visually and story-wise. The movements of the machines feel crazy good, it is another reason why it is such a blast to fight them (or try to override them resulting in them fighting on your side which creates a super fun mayhem!). There are many types of them and some are really impressive.

    A drawback is that the game doesn’t offer Aloy enough tools to fight those fascinating and highly detailed machines. You have a few traps, a few bombs, 1-2 other weapons unlocked late in the game and of course the bow and that’s about it. It might feel quite weird that the bow represents the absolute most major tool to fight those machines, but it is. That hinders the immersion because are arrows enough to destroy (sometimes gigantic) machines? I am not sure I’m buying that.

    A bit in the same way, combat against human enemies feels stale, and way too easy as well. It is really not the main quality of the game.

    To come back on the very good story (regarding Zero Dawn), I felt it was getting better and better until the point where the main focus shifted from WHAT was there before, WHAT happened and HOW, to simply who to kill in order to save the world. A bit disappointing because what was first a very mature, deep and credible storyline got too simplified into a thing resulting on having to kill a bad guy/machine. This is a more personal point of view but it really prevented me to give the game a 9/10. The tribal quarrels which are a major yet less interesting part of the game also contributed to this.

    Nevertheless, I give a great thanks to Guerrilla Games for having created such a fascinating game, and I am confident that Horizon Forbidden West will reach an even higher level of video game quality.    … Expand

    One of the best open world and action experiences you can have. Combat is fun and satisfying beyond belief, the story is engaging and interesting. Aloy is a great likeable protagonist that you cant help but be engaged in her story, if you aren't already engaged by the incredible combat against huge robot dinosaurs. Absolutely a must play if you like rpgs or action games.

    Still one of my favorite games of the PS4 era. The story, world and the mystery the game slowly unravels as you progress is simply amazing. It's honestly hard to think of many things I didn't like about the game. In some instances, facial animations looked weird. Some of the sidequests were boring and some enemeies legit annoying. Very minor stuff in my opinion.

    One of the best games of the the PS4 era. I feel like there's a perfect amount of stuff to do in this game, while keeping the story interesting every mission. Can't wait for Forbidden West.

    La jugabilidad es lo que mas me gusto, el combate, las armas, el sistema de progreso es muy simple pero lo suficiente para que no sea complicado ni molesto.     Otra cosa que no me gusto de este juego son las expresiones faciales de las conversaciones, esta bien, son millones de conversaciones que podemos tener a lo largo del juego, es logico que iban a ser a mano, como en cualquier juego de mundo abierto pero hubiera estado bueno que sean mejor trabajadas. Despues en las cinematicas, son perfectas, ahi si que no tengo ningun problema.    … Expand

    Я проходил эту игру на пк и да, были проблемы с корявым портом, но все это нивелируется достоинствами игры:

У нее продуманные и проработанные активности, например в начале игры тебе показывают механику приручения машин-ты сразу это пробуешь, но ты не можешь укротить все существующие машины, тебе нужно зачистить котел, что можно сделать по стелсу, а что можно сделать с боем. Первый котел ты зачищаешь и это то еще зрелище, ты еще ко второму котлу, там все тоже самое, когда тебе хочется зачистить следующий котел, ты идешь туда с мыслями: опять тоже самое, но нет, тебя встречают там бойцы затмения и этот котел оказывается обжитым, получается что ты сражаешься уже не с машинами, а с людьми. И это лишь один пример продуманности.
    Так же не могу не рассказать про то, что игра безумно красивая, свет и цвета подобраны филигранно, что уж говорить, если я каждые 200 метров делал скриншоты через классный фоторежим.
    В некоторых играх, чтобы узнать больше о мире(А мир в этой игре безумно интересный, как я уже говорил), нужно выполнять побочки, что-то исследовать и это не всегда интересно. В этой же каждый вопрос, который у тебя возникает в голове при прохождении сюжета объясняется, а если тебе хочется узнать еще больше, то всегда пожалуйста-исследуй. С самого начала игры и до самого конца у тебя есть интерес в это играть. Интриг хоть отбавляй, да и неожиданных сюжетных поворотов хватает. Отдельно отмечу режиссуру катсцен: поставленные катсцены и синематики просто прекрасны.
    Если у вас есть свободное время на игру или вы просто хотите с удовольствием провести время, то советую присмотреться к этой игре.    … Expand

    Although this game came out in 2017, for me it stops at the 2020 game of the year. Since however PC players and myself with the ps5 have only managed to play it now. The graphics are truly stunning On PS5. The gameplay is very beautiful, the world is very large. The plot is astounding. GOTY 2020

    Good - I like alloy's personality. She doesn't take s*** from anyone, but yet she has sympathy and is reasonable to those who deserve it. She's also very strong and does not rely on others. - the game touches on the controversial topic of AI singularity. The way they told the story made it such a mystery, and it's really cool how there's this whole new    A fantastic adventure.

    - it's very interesting listening to all the audio recordings of people in the past, especially the people who worked on zero dawn. And how each one of them came to either accept or decline their fate.

    - the thought of machines duplicating endlessly consuming biomatter is scary. And how after they've consumed all biomatter, there would be just millions of robots hibernating on the surface of the planet waiting for any new biomatter to appear. Like some kind of grim silent death trap for any alien.

    - I feel like a tomb Raider of sorts, because I'm reading pretty much tombs of life before the robot apocalypse. Except the theme is a little reversed, because alloy is a primitive person rating the tomb of a more advanced civilization.

    - the constant back and forth gameplay in the main quest between the present day affairs in the primitive land, and the contrasting tomb rating of the advanced past gives diversity to the gameplay. It's like two parallel storylines, which tv shows use too.

    - that part when sylens rescued alloy was epic

    - seeing alloy rise from being an outcast, nobody, to literally a holy figure as she was walking out of all mother was a very surreal moment even from the point of view of the player. I really like how alloy doesn't care for authority and the law if it does not make sense, even from the matriarchs.

    - many of the side missions are well connected to the two main story lines. Both the primitive civilization and the robot apocolypse past. The game introduces you to characters in the beginning that Branch out into side quests later on in the game. This fundamental introduction to these characters allows me to make a connection with them, and for me to actually care about the quests that they put me on later. Not many games are able to make me care about side missions like Horizon zero Dawn can.

    - using the rope caster and tieing down robots then hitting their armor parts off or using critical hits on them feels very satisfying.

    - knowing the sacrifice that Elisabet made was just heart wrenching.

    - there's a good balance between using melee, projectiles, and traps in combat.

    Bad

    - The ledges can be highlighted more vividly. Because they aren't, there are many times where I am not sure where I can be climbing until I started randomly jumping.

    - some of the NPC facial animations when they're talking doesn't match the expressive voice acting. The facial movements of each character just aren't all that big.

    - there are a lot of ways to exploit the combat using the environment. Like staying in a spot where the boss can't reach you. Most games would restrict the area you can go but Horizon zero Dawn allows you to pretty much go anywhere in a large area during the fight.

    - the final chapter ended too fast. I was really hoping the final battle was gonna be more epic. It was alright. It just happened really fast, and there weren't any new machines, just a big deathbringer and other minions. Given the amazing story this far, I also expected a twist to happen, but the ending was very predictable. Still good, but I was hoping for something more spicy.    … Expand

    Great game. The story is captivating, the gameplay is pretty sweet - nice progression pace. Sure I'm only playing it now in 2020 for the first time but for the moment I haven't noticed any performance issues or bugs. Overall a great title - 10/10

    The unfortunate fact of Horizon is that most of what it does well, other games have done better, and they did it with a compelling who and where. This is the game you play after you’ve finished The Witcher 3, Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, and Far Cry: Primal. It is the greatest hits compilation of open-world games. Yeah, sure, you might want to own it, but the real connoisseur has the original albums.

    Horizon Zero Dawn has an unforgettable protagonist, world, story, visuals, soundtrack and gameplay. Due to minor issues with inventory management and quest selection, I cannot call it perfect but I can say it is absolutely worth your time.
