    Don't believe the trolls, the game is amazing as the first one. Awesome graphics, story, advanced gameplay - this game gives everything you've been waiting for, If you were pleased with Zero Dawn. Impressive optimization for almost 10 years old hardware, you won't be disappointed - rock-solid 30 fps. Thank you, Guerilla.

    Best game I've played in my life.

    Horizon Forbidden West is a piece of art who has a sensational gameplay, with almost limitless additions from the previous chapter; a jaw dropping graphics, uncomparable with anything else we saw before and maybe in the next years, it's even better than the tech demos from UE5; and an amazing story who has as a protagonist a true warrior and a fantastic    Best game I've played in my life.

    Já havia comentado na Review da versão de PS5, mas ver esse jogo rodando da forma está em um PS4 é realmente assustador e inacreditável. Imagine um game com o nível gráfico de The Last of Us 2, porém agora em mundo aberto e com mais coisas acontecendo na tela. Isso é Forbidden West

    The moment you start playing, the impressive visuals just stuns you - the amazing attention to detail everywhere, the lighting, the textures, Aloy's model - it's all simply astonishing!
    I don't miss owning a Ps5 in the slightest with the Ps4 still able to impress with graphics of this level. It is so much fun to just run around and    Where to begin with a fantastic game like this.

    It is so much fun to just run around and explore this beautiful world, doing side missions and hunting machines for useful parts. I instantly got sidetracked and just forgot about the main story for hours, while the world slowly but surely got revealed to me.
    I was hooked for 14 straight days, and thought about the game even when not playing - it is very addicting!

    As with all video games, some slight annoyances are unavoidable, and the climbing is something that instantly comes to mind. it was a bit clunky in the first game, and they improved it somewhat here, but it still is one of my least favorite parts about the game - especially after the climbing I'm used to in Zelda Breath of the wild.
    Melee combat is also still not very rewarding Imo, so I stuck to ranged weapons about 95% of the time, but I didn't miss it much, as using your bow, spears and sling is very fun, and excellently implemented.
    Also, in the heat of combat, Aloy often takes too long to recover when knocked down by machines, which can be frustrating when struggling to take down a challenging machine.

    These are very minor issues, and didn't affect my enjoyment of an otherwise excellent adventure throughout, but still worth mentioning.

    One of the very best games the Ps4 has to offer, and a superb choice for any action/adventure enthusiast. If you're a particular fan of this genre, you'll probably also love this game - highly recommended!    … Expand

    Giving the game a 10 to counter all the stupid people giving the game anything less than a 7. This game is phenomenal. I’m genuinely extremely impressed with how well this games plays and looks on the BASE PS4. If you liked the first, you will like Forbidden West.

    Firstly it must be said, the magic Guerrilla Games have worked to get this running so beautifully on not only PS4 Pro but on 9 year old base PS4.... astounding .In every single way after 40 hours of play this game surpasses its predecessor. & I may add, Horizon Zero Dawn for me, was beyond doubt an amazing game with an astoundingly addictive & intriguing narrative.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i just love how most of the reviews on here are one day after the game came out, where the ppl could not have possible finished the game and they are giving it a bad review

    just so ppl know i am playing this game on a base PS4 and yes i have seen a few bugs but they are few and far between and have e a few friends that have the game on PS5 and they say the same thing

    the graphics even on a base PS4 are great and from what i have played of the story that is also leading to great things as well i would highly recommend this game to anyone

    EDIT: I have just finished the story to this game and it is very good, after the credits, the world changes to show what you have done in the main story quests which were not in the first game and I think is a good addition can't wait for the 3rd game to come out and see what happens in the story still would highly recommend to anyone    … Expand

    This was worth the 5-year wait for me. Graphics are beautiful on the PS4 Pro and, so far, no bugs for me 10+ hours in. Smooth and snappy controls and combat is great (better than the first game) as usual. IMHO Guerilla Games knocked this one out the the park.

    Metacritic debe revisar el tremendo review bombing que se está llevando este juego por parte de la peor comunidad de la historia del videojuego, la de Xbox. El juego es excelente en todos sus apartados y se ve gráficamente por encima de todo lo mostrado en la competencia incluso en ps4

    Awesome graphics tho wishing it was PS5 exclusive which would push the graphics even further I assume. Storyline makes sense easier to follow and the characters you start to truly care about them.

    A masterpiece by Playstation Studios, loved every second of it, the game is packed with content, amazing main quests and side quests, insane graphics and superb gameplay, worth the money spent.

    Brutal, 20 horas llevo de juego, es zero dawn elevado a la excelencia, en lo visual es una delicia para los sentidos, la cantidad enfermiza de detalles es una locura, el contenido del juego está a otro nivel, entretenido es decir poco, recomendadisimo.

    The game is much better then I ever expected it to be. So much fun that I am 10 hours in and still not crossed into the forbidden west. Doing everything 100% on ultra hard and having much fun :)

    The game has so many details in details and never saw something like this in a linear game, so other open world games can not even compete.

    Играю на ps4 pro. Картинка по сравнению с HZD сделала огромный шаг вперед. Бой с роботами стал более "живым" и пока кажется сложнее (после прокачки оружия и навыков возможно ощущение поменяются). Квесты стали "объемнее" и более навороченными. Тормозов, лагов пока не ловил. В любой "мясорубке" управление очень отзывчевое.
    Если не играть а изучать картинку с лупой, то можно увидеть    Играю на ps4 pro. Картинка по сравнению с HZD сделала огромный шаг вперед.     Если не играть а изучать картинку с лупой, то можно увидеть графические коллизии, особенно под водой когда сверху пробиваются солнечные лучи. Но это неизбежно, слишком навороченная графика и достаточно слабое на сегодняшний день железо. Но при этом оптимизация на высшем уровне, ничего не тупит. Единственный момент что мне не понравился, это почему то именно в инвентаре плойка начинает идти на взлет, при этом в соседних вкладках как и в самой игре этого нет.    … Expand

    Явный претендент на игру года. Не совсем понимаю откуда хейт в юзер скор. (Играл на пс5, сюда ставлю оценку в противовес хейтерам)

    This blows the first game out of the water, and that says a lot! The new features were very thoughtfully implemented and well done. The story is excellent, the voice acting is phenomenal, and the characters are very well developed. There are some bugs but nothing game breaking at all.

    It plays so smooth on normal PS4 and it looks amazing, Guerrilla and Sony did an incredible job of supporting the PS4 players with another masterpiece with great performance on such old hardware!!!

    So far, this is my game of the year. It's a beautiful mix of Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2. A must see.

    Masterpiece from Playstation studios and Guerrilla games, from gameplay to graphics to open world design everything is just perfect, audio is superb, incredible boss fights with machines, you should come up with different strategies to take them down. Side missions are as good as main ones, the game is addictive!!!

    There’s nothing wrong with learning from your competitors, but what’s the point of copying stuff that’s mocked even by Ubisoft fans? Hopefully, next time Guerrilla will focus more on Horizon’s own strengths: unique world and mechosaurs that are so fun to take apart. [Issue#259, p.72]

    If you liked Zero Dawn, you will probably enjoy Forbidden West, even though the sequel lost that pioneering spirit and Aloy stopped developing as a character.

    Horizon Forbidden West embraces everything about its predecessor and makes strides in producing an even more compelling world to explore, with intense combat and story moments, and shiny new robo-dinosaurs to punch in the face. I cannot wait to see where Aloy and her companions’ story goes next.
