    When I first got this time for free on Playstation Plus, I was sick in bed.
    I launched the game, and I saw this ugly a$$ dude right in front of my screen. His children, oh boy, they were even uglier.
    I started wondering whether I really wanted to play this or if I was going to puke if I had. I decided to give it a chance, and that's when it kinda clicked: the characters were not ugly on    When I first got this time for free on Playstation Plus, I was sick in bed.

    I started wondering whether I really wanted to play this or if I was going to puke if I had.
    I decided to give it a chance, and that's when it kinda clicked: the characters were not ugly on purpose.
    This game was aiming to realism in a very particular way. The characters are normal people, so to speak.
    The protagonist, the antagonist, everything about this game felt real, even with the bugs.
    The game was trying to be a movie with actors.
    I'm not going to criticize this genre of games, because even though I very much prefer games with a good gameplay and more immersion, I still enjoyed the **** out of the story of Heavy Rain.
    If you love mysteries, just give David Cage a damn chance; this game will not leave you disappointed if you love movies and videogames, especially so if you're looking for a serious, dramatic, and emotional story.    … Expand

    It was a bad idea to play this game in 2019. The graphic is to bad for our time, but all other parts of the bame are rather good:

    -great atmosphere throughout the whole game; -the story itself, good enough; -possibility to make the key decisions (not so important, but they are); All this things make you want to play Heaby Rain again.     All this things make you want to play Heaby Rain again. But there are and weak moments - not the best dialogues, very very bad voices in russian version.

    P.S. Recomend to try this one first and just after - Detroit. I did a mistake and played Heavy Rain first, so my impression of the game turned out blurry.    … Expand

    At first I didn't really like this game, but then, after a couple of hours, it became already interesting what this story would end with. Everyone says that it’s not completely clear who the murderer is and this is absolutely true - this is actually an unexpected turn.     Título policíaco de los pocos que hay en la industria y sabe aprovechar cada minuto al máximo, nos encontramos ante un asesino serial y de la mano de nuestros personajes tendremos que dar con el paradero del mismo, con frenéticos QTE que te harán sudar de lo lindo en más de una fase, la historia es el plato fuerte como no podría ser de otra manera y engancha cual serie de su mismo géneroTítulo policíaco de los pocos que hay en la industria y sabe aprovechar cada minuto al máximo, nos encontramos ante un asesino serial y de la mano de nuestros personajes tendremos que dar con el paradero del mismo, con frenéticos QTE que te harán sudar de lo lindo en más de una fase, la historia es el plato fuerte como no podría ser de otra manera y engancha cual serie de su mismo género no podrás esperar para ver qué pasa en el siguiente "nivel", parte negativa del título para mí es el doblaje al español y el sonido que son bastante flojos para un juego de este estilo donde el diálogo es parte fundamental, en general si te gustan las novelas negras pruébalo con los ojos cerrados por qué te encantará.… Expand

    Heavy rain is a great narration based game. It comes from the same studio as Detroit Become Human which aces narration driven gaming. There are lots of good things about Heavy rain and a couple of things that aren't great.

    The pros include the amazing music that is very soothing to listen to. Great narration based story that unfolds slowly, character emotions that are portrayed well.     Unfortunately, Heavy rain leaves a couple of questions unanswered like how the narrator became so poor after being shown as coming from an affluent family initially, the plot holes that the other comments would have already covered also aren't explained.

    Overall, Despite it's flaws, Heavy Rain is a great game with flaws and bad controls. Definitely not a 10/10 but deserves a good rating for a great take on narration based gaming and the music.    … Expand

    Шикарное кино, можно и спустя 10 лет играть и получать огромное удовольствие, правда сам процесс ходьбы и тд уже кривоват, но это мелочи. Главное тут - сюжет и персонажи, а они -шикарны. Каждая история - очень продуманная и глубокая, и все вместе образует единое целое. Отдельный бал за атмосферу, она тут очень тягучая и обволакивающая .Шикарное кино, можно и спустя 10 лет играть и получать огромное удовольствие, правда сам процесс ходьбы и тд уже кривоват, но это мелочи. Главное тут - сюжет и персонажи, а они -шикарны. Каждая история - очень продуманная и глубокая, и все вместе образует единое целое. Отдельный бал за атмосферу, она тут очень тягучая и обволакивающая .

    Acabo de terminar el juego ... me he quedado boquiabierto, este juego tiene una muy buen anarrativa personajes que cada uno cuenta historia , todos tienen algo que aportar en el juego , sean jugables o parte de la historia, juego esto en 2022 graficamente no está mal pero la jugabilidad es bastante "tosca" por lo demás está genial , lo recomiendo 100x100 para jugar solo , con tu pareja oAcabo de terminar el juego ... me he quedado boquiabierto, este juego tiene una muy buen anarrativa personajes que cada uno cuenta historia , todos tienen algo que aportar en el juego , sean jugables o parte de la historia, juego esto en 2022 graficamente no está mal pero la jugabilidad es bastante "tosca" por lo demás está genial , lo recomiendo 100x100 para jugar solo , con tu pareja o un amigo , compartir puntos de vista en este juego es muy interesante a la hora de tomar decisiones , cada decisión cuenta para el final de la historia así que ten cuidado .. suerte y disfrutalo.… Expand

    Heavy Rain è il miglior gioco del genere Film interattivo che abbia mai giocato. Per quanto il gioco sia un giallo con alcuni plot hole dati da dei tagli fatti al progetto, trovo che la storia funzioni comunque bene e che abbia una buona dose di finali alternativi che possono punire chi gioca male, come possono premiare chi sia stato più attento con le proprie azioni. è l'unico gioco diHeavy Rain è il miglior gioco del genere Film interattivo che abbia mai giocato. Per quanto il gioco sia un giallo con alcuni plot hole dati da dei tagli fatti al progetto, trovo che la storia funzioni comunque bene e che abbia una buona dose di finali alternativi che possono punire chi gioca male, come possono premiare chi sia stato più attento con le proprie azioni. è l'unico gioco di questo genere che mi ha portato a ragionare sui personaggi e le loro motivazioni e comportamenti dopo aver finito il gioco, per me questo è il risultato di una buona gestione e costruzione del cast di personaggi.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I tried this one after Detroit Become Human, so it was a bit hard to get used for controls, it's a bit odd.
    But the main thing about this game is story. I had like three 100% sure suspects while playing. -2 points for FBI agent line, I couldn't make it because of the gas station tickets I missed, they weren't glowing while wearing those tech glasses in club's office.

    Although the controls are not very good, the story is very good and has multiple different endings and multiple characters. Your characters can die or survive according to your choices, it depends on your decisions and instant actions.

    It's a good interactive film which choosing the wrong decisions consequence the characters. The graphics and the narrative are the best points meanwhile the music is not memorable. The most I like it is the end and the way of the characters change their mentality.
    I recommend to everybody but I would say that the version of Ps4 (remastered) is exactly the same as the Ps3 game.

    Heavy rain is a game that certainly shows it age. Whether It be the dated visuals, the occasionally horrible acting particularly of ethan Mars, wonky control scheme that has awful motion controls that don't work half the time and yet still manages to be an enjoyable murder mystery, where you really want to find out who the killer is and what their motivations are. The characters are mostlyHeavy rain is a game that certainly shows it age. Whether It be the dated visuals, the occasionally horrible acting particularly of ethan Mars, wonky control scheme that has awful motion controls that don't work half the time and yet still manages to be an enjoyable murder mystery, where you really want to find out who the killer is and what their motivations are. The characters are mostly likeable and your own input on the story shapes them as well as the story itself as you progress through it. The level of choices are what David Cage games are praised for and this game does a fine job of it in my opinion. While the controls where occasionally an issue the desire to figure out the mystery of the origami killer got be through this "Good" adventure and the different ways it can play out may be enough to pull me back or at least a binge of YouTube videos to see the other scenarios. Guess I will check out the rest of Cages work… Expand

    It doesn’t offer anything new for anyone who already played the original. On the other hand, the graphics are significantly overhauled, making this remastered version a safe choice for anyone who didn’t had the chance to experience this excellent interactive drama.
