    It's a good interactive film which choosing the wrong decisions consequence the characters. The graphics and the narrative are the best points meanwhile the music is not memorable. The most I like it is the end and the way of the characters change their mentality.
    I recommend to everybody but I would say that the version of Ps4 (remastered) is exactly the same as the Ps3 game.

    Heavy Rain is one of those games that was simply ahead of its time and wasn't fully appreciated by many people.
    I'm into this story-based game and Heavy Rain delivers big time. An awesome psychological thriller to say the least.

    Although the controls are not very good, the story is very good and has multiple different endings and multiple characters. Your characters can die or survive according to your choices, it depends on your decisions and instant actions.

    Tras jugar a "Detroit Become Human" he decidido jugar a este juego de la misma empresa, Quantic Dream. Me ha gustado igual o incluso mas que Detroit lo que pasa que yo me caracterizo por un sistema de puntuación muy alto, con lo cual hay veces que no puedo dar mas puntuación, pero creo que ambos juegos se merecen un 10, son juegos muy innovadores.     Las decisiones que tomas son muy importables porque pueden llevar a la muerte de tus personajes, el juego no tiene un único final.

    Teniendo en cuenta el año de lanzamiento del titulo tiene unos gráficos muy buenos para la época.

    La jugabilidad, es muy buena pero si que es verdad que hay veces que no detecta correctamente el movimiento del mando y da errores o como pulsar el R2 para poder andar, puede llegar a ser molesto pero te acabas acostumbrando...

    En cuanto a la historia me ha parecido impresionante, impresionante como se ha ido desarrollando y al acabar el videojuego me he quedado boquiabierto por el final del mismo. Todos los personajes aportan algo a la historia sean jugables o no (especialmente los jugables).

    Yo recomiendo que juguéis este juego, sobre todo a las personas que le encantan los juegos interactivos que este titulo no os va a decepcionar.

    Heavy Rain at one time was the main reason for me to buy a PS3. For 2010, when interactive film games were still scarce, Heavy Rain looked like something new and fresh. Yes, this is a feature film, and after the first passage you understand that there are big holes in the plot, but there is almost no gameplay. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. And after almost 10 years, IHeavy Rain at one time was the main reason for me to buy a PS3. For 2010, when interactive film games were still scarce, Heavy Rain looked like something new and fresh. Yes, this is a feature film, and after the first passage you understand that there are big holes in the plot, but there is almost no gameplay. But it didn't stop me from enjoying the game. And after almost 10 years, I flashed the game on the PS4 Pro and got the same experience. I advise everyone to go through Heavy Rain.     This is a masterpiece in 2022. Is one of the best games that i ever play. This game is simply perfect mainly because of its creative plot, the character development is incredible and personally I had a great time playing it. It's such a good story and so creepy. I highly recommend it to this day it will be a masterpiece

No spoilers one point fell rushed beyond belief and the other was a illogical inconsistency. Where outcome should of created the opposite of my first run happy ending.     Der perfekte Thriller mit vielen Plottwists und schwierigen Entscheidungen, die durch die Spielenden zu lösen sind. Packend und moralisch aufgeladen zugleich. Die PS4 Version wirkt technisch jedoch etwas veraltet (9/10).

    But the main thing about this game is story. I had like three 100% sure suspects while playing. -2 points for FBI agent line, I couldn't make it because of the gas station tickets I missed, they weren't glowing while wearing those tech glasses in club's office.

    I heard about Heavy Rain on PS3 when I was a kid. I knew I was good at that time. But after beating this game, I was amazed by how good this game is. Every second of it is dramatic and I couldn’t put the controller down. I know the control is clunky. But still, it’s one of the best games I have ever played.

    Heavy rain is a great narration based game. It comes from the same studio as Detroit Become Human which aces narration driven gaming. There are lots of good things about Heavy rain and a couple of things that aren't great.

    The pros include the amazing music that is very soothing to listen to. Great narration based story that unfolds slowly, character emotions that are portrayed well.     Unfortunately, Heavy rain leaves a couple of questions unanswered like how the narrator became so poor after being shown as coming from an affluent family initially, the plot holes that the other comments would have already covered also aren't explained.

    Overall, Despite it's flaws, Heavy Rain is a great game with flaws and bad controls. Definitely not a 10/10 but deserves a good rating for a great take on narration based gaming and the music.    … Expand

    There is very few games I played till the end, but this is one of them. Beautiful graphics, deep dive into game great story. Controls and cameras are sometimes weird, but you get used to it very quick, and they are not ones, making    Magnificent action adventure in interactive movie style.

Per quanto il gioco sia un giallo con alcuni plot hole dati da dei tagli fatti al progetto, trovo che la storia funzioni comunque bene e che abbia una buona dose di finali alternativi che possono punire chi gioca male, come possono premiare chi sia stato più attento con le proprie azioni. è l'unico gioco diHeavy Rain è il miglior gioco del genere Film interattivo che abbia mai giocato.     I played this game after Until Dawn and I have to say that it is great too. The best thing is that you have to live the game like you are in the game. It is like a thriller movie: I recommend it! You will love Heavy Rain ❤️

    This game is pretty good. It's a really good crime thriller and it has a interesting story. You play as four characters, leading up to the end. Each character can die if you mess up too much, or if you mess up too much you get extra chapters following up on what happened. Some of the achievements are a little bit weird so be cautious of that.

    This game is an absolute masterpiece, well besides the game. Cinematically, story-wise and thinking about graphics, this game is amazingly good, gripping and just overall a massive achievement. My only complaint is that the gameplay is pretty bad, but really, since everything else is so good, I didn't even really notice while playing and I've certainly never found a game that I've enjoyedThis game is an absolute masterpiece, well besides the game.     I still love this master piece and replaying it again on PS4 enhanced the experience.

    Keep in mind that the title originally came out in 2011, so "remastering" does what it can.

    If you didn't play the original release, now is a good time to do so.
    One of my favourites.

    The game is something unusual and unconventional compare to all the games out there. The story is remarkable and irrespective of the fact that it might not involve "fighting" and "killing" it is a game that you should not miss. The story will make you cry, to say the least.

    And turns out I had reasons for that. What an tremendous story! What a twist! I could never imagine Shelby being the Killer!
    My only problem was gameplay-wise. Sometimes it feels clunky and responds badly.

    It was a bad idea to play this game in 2019. The graphic is to bad for our time, but all other parts of the bame are rather good:

    I'm glad I went back and gave this a try after getting it for Free on PS+. The story and characters were engaging and kept me wanting to come back despite the horrible controls. Thankfully - Heavy Rain doesnt rely on controls too much outside of QTEs or it would have been a deal breaker. Enjoyable from start to finish - great twist ending. Would recommend to anyone for a change of pace.

    As far as Heavy Rain goes for me in way of storytelling, it hasn't been topped since. It's a gritty detective thriller as you play several characters at once who intertwine with the goal of finding the Origami killer. The choices system is different from other games, it poses drastic moral reactions and consequences which could actually end up in a character dying outright. My only critiscism of a game like this is that the use of the motion sensor of the pad is sometimes utterly tedious, like changing a baby's nappy, or cleaning your characters teeth, or pushing a kid on a swing. It's showing off the possibilities but becomes boring and pointless to the story. Aside from this, this game is something of a masterpiece which shouldn't ever be drowned out by sequels.… Expand

    I really liked that i could choose the paths of these nice characters, my favourite was Madison Page she was clever, kind and ambitious .I loved the story because it was very versatile and immersing.The sound tracks were amazing.I have achieved the platinum trophy in it as well.

The baton-passing style of storytelling they used always kept the plot interesting, and every named character was always unique that when they were introduced in the story, you wanted to know more about them.     This is a great game. Of course it's not for everybody but I enjoyed it a lot. It has really good graphics for a ps3 game. I beat it in about 10 hours in middle difficulty and I only lost one person. This game reminds me a bit Until Dawn cause you can lose people although in Until Dawn it's much difficult to keep all of them alive. And this game doesn't have as nasty moments as in UntilThis is a great game. Of course it's not for everybody but I enjoyed it a lot. It has really good graphics for a ps3 game.     This game was aiming to realism in a very particular way. The characters are normal people, so to speak.
    The protagonist, the antagonist, everything about this game felt real, even with the bugs.
    The game was trying to be a movie with actors.
    I'm not going to criticize this genre of games, because even though I very much prefer games with a good gameplay and more immersion, I still enjoyed the **** out of the story of Heavy Rain.
    If you love mysteries, just give David Cage a damn chance; this game will not leave you disappointed if you love movies and videogames, especially so if you're looking for a serious, dramatic, and emotional story.    … Expand

    I was looking for a game that would provide me the experience of a movie, but, through the interactivity of game mechanics, provide immersion that no movie could ever provide.

    What I got was so much more - I did not just experience the movie, I lived the movie. Apart from fulfilling the typical requirements for such a feat (good acting, atmosphere, effects, graphics, etc), the powerful    I was looking for a game that would provide me the experience of a movie, but, through the interactivity of game mechanics, provide immersion that no movie could ever provide.

    What I got was so much more - I did not just experience the movie, I lived the movie.
    Apart from fulfilling the typical requirements for such a feat (good acting, atmosphere, effects, graphics, etc), the powerful sense of consequences to each and every action I performed was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I think that being forearmed with the knowledge that four characters are playable, but can die at any moment as a direct result of my actions was key.
    You see, I read the various items of information provided by the game before playing.

    I am blown away at how this game manages to achieve such an experience without VR, but through very clever use of the controller.
    The reactive threshold, whereby certain buttons must be pressed within a certain time limit, felt just right, and I liked how failing did not necessarily result in immediate death, but would draw out a different cut scene and give me a stronger sense of deaths imminence if I continued to mess up.

    I am a very experienced gamer (35 years old now), having played games from way back like Space Invaders on the Amstrad through to games on consoles like Sonic on the Sega Master System, through to games like Affected on the Oculus Rift.
    Never before have I fought enemies like my very life was on the line.
    Never before have I felt such a sense of relief when finally overpowering an enemy.
    Never before have I uttered audible sounds/expletives, even though no-one else is with me.
    Never before have I experienced a character death and accepted it as part of the story line without reloading.
    Never before have I looked at the concept art after completing the game (unlocked during playing) and felt like it was stimulating memories of experiences in my own life.

    You have to play this game with the right expectations - it is not a gun-toting, car drifting, all action genre, yet the emotions it invokes far surpasses those invoked from such genres.
    Quite frankly, this game is a work of art and the people involved in making it should be very proud of its accomplishment.    … Expand

    Not having the chance to try this game on previous gen, I regret the time I've lost without having played this Masterpiece. This is what every single player game should deliver. Addictive plot, freedom of choices and realistic acting. 10/10

    Heavy Rain is a powerful story of family and determination. While some of the dialogue and graphics are a bit off, the game is no doubt an incredibly tense and immersive experience.

    Never played Heavy Rain on the ps3. The controls and camera angles are extremely clunky and sometimes frustrating, but the story is solid and nicely paced. I had a good time. Definitely worth a playthrough if you haven't before.

    "Heavy Rain" was a game that I felt I was in the minority with when I gave the    *DISCLAIMER: This review is not a full-blown, critical analysis of "Heavy Rain" as a game, as I've already done that with the original PlayStation 3 version. While certain things involving the game's age and playability are taken into account here, a lot of this rating is based largely around the port itself.*
    "Heavy Rain" was a game that I felt I was in the minority with when I gave the original PlayStation 3 game a 10 out of 10. Yes, I acknowledge that there were some plot-holes here, but I still found the story and characters captivating enough that I could forgive those, especially because those holes actually opened up for discussions and questions long after I completed the game. It was a game that kept me coming back for several playthroughs, and it hooked me like few others have. While I wasn't initially planning on getting the PlayStation 4 port of it, it was part of the Digital Deluxe Edition of "Detroit: Become Human" (which, yes, I will play and review as soon as possible), which was only $10 more than the standard edition, so I got to replay "Heavy Rain," and I was impressed that it held up so well.
    "Heavy Rain" remains a game that is very enjoyable, and even if a lot of the game is scripted cinematics and quick-time events, it still remains very exciting and tensing. Once again, even though the story has some holes, the characters and the writing are still captivating and rich (even if some of the performances are kind of cheesy by today's standards), and I feel like there's a certain novelty to the game now. Given that it was released in early 2010, right when the new wave of story-driven, "realistically-designed" games were starting to pop off, it's cool to see one of the games that helped start it off (obviously, before the days of "The Walking Dead"). And for the most part, the visuals still remain quite strong today, as the 1080p facelift brings out the overall beauty of the game.
    It's easy for me to forgive the occasionally off-putting model or very minor frame-dipping in this one because they don't really impact the enjoyment of the game, but there's one thing I can't really forgive: even though "Beyond: Two Souls" (Quantic Dream's next game) received a PlayStation 4 port with plenty of new stuff (like the ability to play the game in chronological order), I was disappointed that "Heavy Rain" on PlayStation 4 offers nothing new other than the satisfaction of getting to re-experience the game. I would've liked to see this version of the game come with some playable versions of some of the things that were left on the cutting room floor (such as Ethan's blackouts) in something of a "Director's Cut" version, or it could've featured some of the cut DLC episodes that were supposed to release after "The Taxidermist." Speaking of that DLC, I also would've liked it if the game actually came with "The Taxidermist" DLC, much like how "Beyond: Two Souls" came with the "Enhanced Experiments" DLC. The lack of new features, or even added DLC, makes it seem like there was more care put into RELEASING the port, and not ENHANCING the port outside of the 1080p visuals.
    Still, while the lack of new features is disappointing, "Heavy Rain" remains what I like to call a "flawed masterpiece," and it's a game that I highly suggest playing. Obviously, if you own it on PS3 already, there's not much of a point in getting this version, but if you haven't gotten to experience "Heavy Rain" yet, give it a shot now that it's on the PlayStation 4!

    Overall its a great game with a great storyline, I really enjoyed it. The only negative thing are the controls which are improved in their next game. The graphics are okay, it does the job.

    It doesn’t offer anything new for anyone who already played the original. On the other hand, the graphics are significantly overhauled, making this remastered version a safe choice for anyone who didn’t had the chance to experience this excellent interactive drama.
