Me either I don't understand these guys who expect to be a Profesional race sim game. It's a pure semi arcade racing game with all the content you expect without drifting. Handling is OK AI is very smart, many different events to play, beautiful graphics unlocked fps for smoother experience. I'm at 60 hours gameplay and enjoying, also season pass is worth it.

I do NoT understand these review scores. This game kind of hugs the middle between arcade and sim. The best thing about this game is the racing itself. This is by far the best handling and feeling racing game with a controller I have ever played. It is superb!!

Tons of content, beautiful graphics. Doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles..... it’s all about the racing here as it should

Like a cross between Driveclub and Need for Speed Shift. This game hits that sweet spot between casual and hardcore extremely well and for my money is the best game of its kind of this generation.

Skip the bad reviews please. When you like arcade racing action over simulation then this is your game. Technically it’s amazing, the visuals are absolutely stunning (played on PS4 Pro 4K HDR) and runs at 60 FPS. The drifting-focused gameplay remembers me to classics like Ridge Racer. Unfortunately Grid is one of the most underrated games for the PS4. At the same time racing games like Burnout Remaster are absolutely overrated. Sometimes this world is just weird.

I´m a Dirty Rally, WRC and F1 2019 player. I am having a tremendous time with Grid, I don´t get the criticism. I bought it on discount with skepticism, and I´m a full supporter (even though there is an event that crashes my ps4, just waiting for the second update) Expand

I don't know why the use score is so low. Perhaps these dudes missed the point of this game. It is not meant for hyper-realism, nor is it NFS type kiddy racing game. While you certainly need to have a good understanding of driving dynamics, punishment for a small mistake will not be race-ending harsh. The point is to have fun. And the game certainly delivers that, which is most important.

I loved Grid series on Xbox 360 and bought all of them. Wasn't too sure about this one but honestly have never doubted CodeMasters. It was on sale and i purchased it and I am glad I did. Beautiful graphics with HDR support and near flawless gameplay that merges Arcade and Simulation. I love the simplicity of career mode. It isn't confusing and keeps you on track (No pun intended). Very interesting physics for the arcade. All cars are different. A lot of tracks, which is good. AI is quite good.

I recently got the ultimate addition in a playstation sale for a very good price. I understand that back in the beginning some were annoyed at the lack of content. Just about racing, nothing more. Competion, overtake..thats it! No drift crap, no xenon light.
Multiplayer could be more options on lobby but its good racing with all classes of cars not only one class or two, very fun!

The only worthy edition in the world of the rally is what can be called a full-fledged game. All points as well as the cockpit have been worked out - various types of cars and tracks, game schedules and sports car settings.

Digno en todos los aspectos. Resolver todo te hace involucrarte en este juego y hay grandes mejoras con la última versión del juego.

    me alegro :)

the best Grid game yet. One of the best 'racing' games out there. only gripe is the camera angle is a bit low and the 'flashback' kinda feels like cheating.
all in all, a great game.

I really enjoy this racer its just a fun game ya dont have to be too serious on. I really enjoyed shift series and grid and this game has that feel not too hardcore but still challenging great balance.

Fun and beautiful arcade racer. Runs at 1440p/60 fps on the PS4 Pro, and 1080p/30fps on the PS4, so it's not as smooth or pretty on the base console. I wish it had the ability to upgrade your car's working parts instead of a million livery options, but it's good for a casual 'jump in and play' type of racer. Great arcade racing. codemasters, as always, done with dignity. I do not understand low scores. Online made so-so ... But career mode - dragged on

Yes, playing is addictive. Different cities and roads, worked out to perfection and cockpits with settings and functions, I think this game deserves attention.

A solid reboot of the popular racing series, which is strong when it comes to driving, but it suffers from lack of content and rushed development. The game could have used a few more months of development, so that even the biggest perfectionist wouldn´t have any issues. [Issue#299]

The incredible visuals don’t (quite) make up for the unbalanced racing, and the kinetic feel, pit radio, career mode, and damage modelling are all inferior to the 2008 original. [Issue#169, p.86]

Codemasters managed to create the perfect racing atmosphere, utilizing a top-notch driving model and excellent AI, but then they kind of forgot about everything else: the car pool is tiny, the Career Mode is non-existent, the team management is lacklustre.
