    First off, my review may be a bit biased on the graphics side, because i've been playing on a crappy 2006 computer and setting everything to low graphic settings half my life, and the other half was an even worse computer. XD

    With that gotten out of the way, this is one of the best looking games I've ever played. Considering the size of the game and everything in it, I can forgive the rare blurriness or pop-in. The game is a third (or first if you're NOT like me XD) person shooter with TONS of things to do. Activities include murdering people and fighting the police, skydiving, flying helicopters, stealing cars (it's in the freakin' title of the game!), racing, ATTEMPTING to break into Fort Zancudo and steal a tank, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. The story mode has plenty of missions to keep you occupied, accomplishing tons of different tasks to get you through the stories of three different characters. Franklin, a street hustler who says the N-word way too much (I know you're black and it's a bit more acceptable, but come on man!), Michael, a retired criminal thrown back into his job, and Trevor, who is... Trevor.
    The controls are a little strange at first, but you should get the hang of them really quickly.
    I'm too lazy to write anything else. :P

    I don't think I really need to say much about this game, if you're a GTA fan I highly suggest looking into this one. The single player campaign is fulfilling, but the online play is what gets me coming back for more, online has a bunch of different game modes, and they are done really well, plus you can make your own deathmatches and races. Great game in my opinion.

    I love this game. There are a lot of things to do in the game. I like the new first person view and the ability to be an animal. Rockstar are the best video game publisher ever

    Bought this game on my PS3 and then PS4, definitely worth the repurchase. Enjoyed playing through the whole story again with nicer graphics and new features. One of my favorite games.

    GTA V on the Playstation 4 has got more features and superior graphics. Fantastic looks and plays.
    First-person mode transmits new sensations and it's really great. Masterpiece.

    the game that you wll never get bored with.. Specially online there is so much to do. grab some friends and go around with the same car, kill players. make friends..u can do. everything.. gameplay simple and intuitive. definetly must have,

    The perfect game - Infinitely large and an amazing online world that just keeps on giving and giving. - I only wish they could have kept some of the previous mini games available for previous GTAs. Vigilante Mode, Ambulance Mode, Fire Fighter Mode, CUB3D. Still, fantastic!

    Gta 5 is a great game,because someone can do everything in this game.The graphics are amazing and the story is very interesting.There are many challanges in this game,the gta online is amazing,because firstly it is very quick and secondly gta online supports 2-30 players.I believe that gta 5 is worth buying someone,because it offers many hours of gameplay.

    I have to give this a 10/10. The attention to detail is just amazing! This is what all games should be like. GTA V is now in my top 5 games of all time.

    The most fun I have ever had playing video games was the first month or so that GTAV was released. Playing with my buddies and cousins online was hysterical and just the debauchery, the customization, the real world locations, the vehicles and of course, the guns.
    To be honest, we haven't played that much lately - new games come out and the expansion content hasn''t impressed me too much.     Still, when I think back on the times I had playing GTAV and the fact that I still fire it up and get lost in Los Santos I have to give this game a 10. That and I can't imagine why the average score is 8.2...so I inflated my score a bit. tbh, the game is still a solid 9.    … Expand

    WOW. I cant get over how incredible this game is. From the gorgeous (but not 60 fps) setting to the well crafted and detailed new story and world, from the robust and varied multiplayer mode, this game is a must-have for every console gamer.

    1. The Story: I love the switching between the three major characters, Michael, Trever, And Franklin. Each one has their own unique story, and in    WOW. I cant get over how incredible this game is. From the gorgeous (but not 60 fps) setting to the well crafted and detailed new story and world, from the robust and varied multiplayer mode, this game is a must-have for every console gamer.

    1. The Story: I love the switching between the three major characters, Michael, Trever, And Franklin. Each one has their own unique story, and in making the story follow each character, all the missions are fun and varied (except for a few duds revolving around a pier) and I actually played a few over again to try and get all gold missions. The heists are by far the best part of the single player mode, and in multiplayer s well! The side missions are fun as well, and there's so many activities, like golfing or racing, that you can get lost in the game, which is something all good games should aim for. While not as good as Red Dead Redemptions story, this is definitely one of the best Open World stories in a while.

    2. The Setting: Los Santos is by far the most expansive and diverse world ever created in video games. The insane detail is put in every part of the map, and the game is just so beautifully realized. Having spent most of my life living in LA, its insane how much effort Rockstar went to create a video game form of it. From the depths of the ocean, with orcas and dolphins and kelp forests, to the awesome and realistic vehicles, to every part of the map, this setting is amazing. If GTA 4's Liberty City felt like a living city, GTA 5's Los Santos feels like a living WORLD. And the in game radio stations are fantastic as well.

    3. Multiplayer: While I see multiplayer as a bonus, many people skip single player altogether to go play with their buddies, which is understandable. Starting off, the much-improved character creation finally makes your characters just like how you want them, unlike its PS3 and 360 counterparts. Again, everything about it is excellent, the game challenges you to level up and unlock new guns, or you can just go and create havoc and start wars with friends or strangers, or skydive with twelve of tour friends and try to land in a swimming pool. The possibilities are endless. The heists are an amazing new addition, and the monthly updates are great. There are many connection issues that spoil multiplayer quite a bit, but its a fun experience nonetheless.

    So that's my full review. Almost everything about the game is spot on and perfect, the first person setting is tons of fun, the single player is great, the multiplayer is great, Trevor is great, everything's great. If you don't have this, Get it. NOW!!!!!!    … Expand

    Graphics are even sharper than the last gen ports, the rain effects at night really shine. Rockstar should be commended for this remaster version, GTA 5 was already a great game, but the small details are what matters.

    GTA V is very near perfect! If you are looking for an amazing storyline with numerous main characters then this is the game for you. This game has everything we have come to love from the GTA series but then it has also brought it and polished it to a level that would surprise you. They have really taken advantage of the new system and all its power and made a true upgraded version ofGTA V is very near perfect!     I'd say that the biggest component of this game would easily be the single player story mode. Unlike other Grand Theft Auto games, where you would play a single character throughout the game mode, Grand Theft Auto V differs in the fact that you're able to play one of 3 different characters (An upper class ex-con by the name of Michael, a gang member living in the slums of Los Santos going by the name of Franklin, and a drug and gun runner by the name of Trevor) and you get to play through the story of how they killed a lot of people, made a lot of money, and made a lot of enemies. It sounds like a weird concept to start off with, but this helps to increase the immersivity immensely, as you've got several characters weaving around the story and changing from and because of it.

    Another thing to help immerse the player even further is the amount of detail that was put into every part of the world. Not just in terms of graphics, but almost everything that comprises the world. Every single radio station has its specific set of hosts, every car has its specific way that it handles, and with the addition of the new First Person mechanic (which is a little iffy, in all honesty) adds a whole new level to that. You can see the radio station in the car, you can see your character pull up his cell phone whenever you use it, you can see your character flip the bird whilst driving down the highway, and it helps to further how much you are being put into this world. There are even phone numbers for various people within the world (celebrities, realtors, just about anyone and everyone) which you can actually call and interact with. You can go to a myriad of different websites and use them as though they were a real site (my personal favorite is the Republican Space Rangers website, which contains an actual 30 minute long cartoon). It's one thing to talk about how a game plays and whether or not you like the characters, but the amount of painstaking detail in this game alone is making me enjoy it even more.

    Another good thing about the game is that you can see how your actions affect the world around you, in some way or another. There's a mission in the campaign where Michael ends up destroying a house, and the house will still be there, utterly destroyed. Missions where Franklin carries out hits for another main character in the game, Lester show effects in terms of news articles detailing how the person was recently found dead. Not only that, but these hits also affect the stock price of whichever company the person was in charge of. That's right, a freaking stock market! There's one for the single player mode, and another that's controlled real-time by members of Rockstar's Social Club.

    Considering that the majority of people playing this game are more than likely to be young adults, I think it works perfectly. There are a lot of references to and parodies of events that are happening every day, all around us. Whether it's highlighting corruption in the higher ups of the police force (the FIB and the IAA doing unspeakable things to get more money for their departments) or a jab at the recent controversy with police and race relations (some cars have 'Obey and Survive' put on the side of their car, Franklin gets targeted by police more than his Caucasian counterparts, etc.). It provides an interesting, sometimes comedic and sometimes insanely dark look into the world around us. Sometimes it provides a more political statement (the race relations, drug legalization, so on) and other times it's the same old Grand Theft Auto, in which you steal cars, blow some stuff up, and go to a strip club.

    To say that this game is a masterpiece is an understatement, and if I'm being completely honest it's without a doubt one of, if not THE best game I have ever played.    … Expand

    I like the game very much. I was well aware of 4k graphics feature but wasn't expecting such HQ graphic details. I play in PC (Ultra settings) and the textures are phenomenal.

    I had GTA V pre ordered way back in 2012, long before it's initial release because I knew it would be something special, I knew that Rockstar, the greatest games producer on the planet next to Bethesda , would not let me down. And they didn't, when I played it for the first time on PS3 it was magical; a huge, detailed immersive world with a rich, powerful story and unforgettable charactersI had GTA V pre ordered way back in 2012, long before it's initial release because I knew it would be something special, I knew that Rockstar, the greatest games producer on the planet next to Bethesda , would not let me down. And they didn't, when I played it for the first time on PS3 it was magical; a huge, detailed immersive world with a rich, powerful story and unforgettable characters the likes of which could be found nowhere else, but sadly there was no multiplayer and once I hit 90% completion I got a little bored and I strayed, and traded it in.

    Then they re-released it for 'new-gen' and my god is it now perfect.

    Everything has been upgraded, the visuals, as beautiful as they were before, have been overhauled to the max; rays of light penetrate tree leaves and hedgerows, cars glisten in the sun and the rain, textures look incredibly detailed, water looks real and everything just FEELS real. Draw distances have significantly improved. The world is more populated now, enhanced traffic and NPC modelling makes the world feel more alive, grassy areas have been improved so they they now appear to be fields rather than flat bits of dirt with the odd patch of grass. Overall the reworked world model appears more dynamic and real, as though it isn't a game at all.
    Attention to detail is present in the game now more than ever; tides come in and out, car drive trains work as they would in real life and the first person screen tints if you are wearing sunglasses, which brings me onto the first person mode. GTA has historically been a third person game, which has always been fine but imagine a world that made you feel part of it. Switch to the first person viewpoint and everything changes, movement feels fluid and real, weapon detail is enhanced, the whole system just works.
    The story-line and side missions all remain the same, there's nothing new there other than the same set of reworked visuals, you'll notice details you didn't before and the characters feel all the more real as a result; however the story is so good I happily played through it this second time.
    The multiplayer again, remains more or less the same, only this time it feels sometimes like call of duty, as you switch into first person for deathmatch modes and the like, but again, it was done so well the first time round it was still as much fun to play, you can even bring your character over from you PS3 account.
    The one main thing that Rockstar have stuck to is the deployment of free content downloads; there's no DLC and any extra content that's added for the multiplayer like cars and guns, carries over to the single player world. Meaning that your purchase of GTA V is a one time only event, you'll always be able to enjoy the full experience, it also means that the game world is always evolving, dropping in new cars to acquire or new weapons to play around with.
    I'd like to say this is the part were I make the review sound more balanced and point out the flaws but there are literally no flaws in the game, none that I've found anyway, so I guess I'll just have to sound like crazed fan or Rockstar spokesperson, but that's okay with me. This game is very long, so if anybody tells you that it is short, please punch them. Then hand them the game, because they haven't played it if they think it's short. The story it's self is extremely long, not to mention the massive world and side quests. The first person machanics in my opinion were decent, but I'm not a huge first person shooter fan. It is very cool when your driving though. The gameplay is very smooth and not too hard, though I believe that Rockstar amped up the difficulty jus a little bit. The driving at first was bad, but I believe they've fixed it. The story is outstanding and the characters fell so real. You develop a love for each character. You fall in love with the whole world. I was sad when the credits rolled. Even though it took me over 2 weeks to beat this game, I still wanted more. I always turn my games back into gamestop and I decided to keep this one forever. That says something, and I've parted with some good games. This is probably the only game I felt comfortable paying full price for. You feel like it's worth every penny, even to the point to where it seems like a bargain. For parents, the game does have a lot of bad language, sexual references. Strip Clubs and Hookers are completely optional, but sexual references will still be in there. The worst thing is language. It is still a great game as is every Rockstar game. Buy it.… Expand

    Great game, hard to fault the single player but GTA Online leaves a lot to be desired, my score is based purely on the single player element.

    As GTAO is constantly evolving and being patched with new content on a regular basis, it is difficult to score the Online portion.

An amazing game doesn't come without its great artistic integrity. What makes this game seem even more worthwhile than the heinous crimes is its ability to keep gamers pulled in with its great scenery and color of the background which makes the little details stand out. Little details have never seemed to matter more until you have played this game. Graphics are awesome and the sheer size of the game world and amount of things to do is mesmerizing. Anyone who rated this lower than a 9 is a jealous programmer who doesn't work for Rockstar. Masterpiece. 10/10

    I was ashamed that I haven't had a decent console to play this game on. Until I got my PS4. I tought it will be cool and awesome but without doubt its a MASTERPIECE! The story, the graphics, the gameplay, the cool jokes that keeps you laughin for minutes, the beautiful sights, the LA feel and I could go on for days. Its one of the best games in the last half or whole decade! Its a must play guys!

The Campaign is amazing whether you wanna play as the Gangster Franklin, the dead Michael or the psychotic (my personal favorite) Trevor! each off these characters build up an amazing campaign with a story too knock you away! The amount of weapons too cause utter destruction, the amount of cars, trucks, bikes ETC too cause utter destruction and too look cool at the same time, and that's just the campaign! Next you have the amazing Grand theft auto online, which in theory is a completely new game... Endless fun for you and your friends! Whether you wanna smuggle drugs for Gerald, steal/destroy cars for Simeon or just simply CAUSE HAVOC with Trevor Phillips industries and much much more! and then there's the heists where you can make big cash in a small amount of setups which require team work with your 4 friends!     If there's any game that you can always pick up on a rainy day and consistently have a good time playing, then GTA V is it. It's a highly polished, immense, immersive, near-endless package of fun that'll consume hours of your life in no time.

The weapons handle better, the cars are way better than the iffy handling of GTA IV and the world is so much cooler, The pack streets and suburbs of los santos the rolling dunes and lakes of sandy shores and MT Chilliad and finally the small town of paleto bay every environment is shown off in stunning 1080p.     GTA 5 is the best game of 2014, the story is amazing, the world is huge, and the gameplay is great fun, the new first person mode makes it a must have even if you bought it on the ps3. The online is also great fun and is the best multiplayer game i have played.

    Rockstar should improve on the job creator instead of ignoring the flaws. For instance you still can't use parachutes in races in GTA mode! And if you lock a race to one specific car players can still use other customized cars.

    Also there are still no wild animals in online mode, why are there no deers and mountain lions to hunt? And why can't our character hang on ledges anymore, like he used to do in previous GTA games?

    Still GTA V is a great game with an eye for the small details: footprints in wet sand, car ventilators work after the motor gets overheated etc. And there are plenty of updates which bring new cars and game modes to keep us going untill the next GTA game will come out!    … Expand

    Can't find fault really. Nothing to compare it too. It is a lot of fun. Nice stories. Great gameplay, open world. If there is one thing i suggest is creating more offline stuff to do after story mode, and stick to 1 protagonist. I don't want to swap to 2 others.

    If your gaming budget only allows one game per year, this is one game you would absolutely not regret getting. There is no such thing as finishing this game, it just keeps going with so many content an an active multiplayer community. Unlike the PS3 version, more attention has been given to details that make this even more amazing. This is truly one of the best games of all time.

    The game is played with a mouse and a keyboard. You need to drive using the keyboard while shooting some bad guys with the mouse. The gameplay, story, characters, music, world building, and everything else in between is masterfully crafted. Besides some glitches the game is nearly perfect, one of the greatest games ever made. I can't wait to see what they do with GTA VI.

However the titles flaws are online, I think online is fun and unique and adds replayability, however the online is a bit laggy and has lots of hackers on it sometimes (mainly on the PC version and last gen consoles) Rockstar really created a good game and many more to come in the foreseeable future:

It's an adult game. But all of that stuff is just icing on the cake because beneath it you have solid driving mechanics, a forgiving but challenging aiming system and hugely diverse missions and side-missions to get through at your own pace. Oh, and music suited to just about every taste that you can turn off completely if you just want to enjoy the ambient sounds of people screaming in terror as gas stations explode behind them.

    I have spent countless hours playing and replaying this game and haven't come close to exploring all there is to do. My only possible qualm is that it is so good I'm not sure how Rockstar will be able to top it.    … Expand

    Much better graphics than GTA 4. The missions are fun but the thing that stood out to me the most was how big the map is. The free play is sick, the cars are great and the freedom you have is the best out of any game like this. I love the plane features and the boating is fantastic.     GTA V was already awesome on the PS3. It's even more awesome on the PS4.

    The improved resolution and the addition of first person view make exploring the map a whole new experience. For the rest it's basically the same game, with all DLC that's been released up until now included and a couple more side missions. But even after playing the PS3 version, it's well worth playing through    GTA V was already awesome on the PS3. It's even more awesome on the PS4.

But even after playing the PS3 version, it's well worth playing through again. If you haven't played the last gen version yet, then this game is an absolute no-brainer.

    GTA online can handle 30 people on the same map now as opposed to 16 last gen. The still ongoing connection issues however can spoil the fun.

    + First Person immersion
    + Graphics: For a world as detailed as this, it looks absolutely stunning on next gen...
    + Fun factor

    - Not a lot of additional content for folks who have played the last gen (although it's nice to have at least something additional)
    - GTA Online connectivity issues

    Best game ever made. Great story that kept me playing since it came out on PS3. 100% on the PS4. Loads of free updates that have kept online going for years. Still play this in 2017.

    This game is super complete. Hardly another game will come with both content and variety at the same time. One of the best action / adventure games in the open world, with an excellent narrative.

    Easily in the top 10 best games I’ve played. If you haven’t yet played this I thoroughly recommend it.

    GRAPHICS +10/10 (at the time of release on ps3 then also played on PS4 Pro and graphics were even better) GAMEPLAY +10/10 (one of the best written stories out there, the voice acting is superb, loads and loads of side missions if that’s your thing and the main story mode is superb)    Easily in the top 10 best games I’ve played. If you haven’t yet played this I thoroughly recommend it.

    Un juego maravilloso en todos sus apartados. El único defecto quizás sea el doblaje en inglés.

    GTA V is not just a game, it's a whole new world for you to explore. Walk, jump, shoot, drive, buy new clothes, buy a new car or house, beat up people, escape the cops, throw sticky bombs at your wife or annoying daughter and blow them up... this game is better than therapy!

    One of the greatest of all time. Open world masterpiece with so much replay value unlike alot of singeplayer games that the gaming snobs love to cling to like naughty dog or sony games, and not bugged/broken like bugthesda.

    This game is so fun and is a joy to play. The world is vast and beautiful. The guns are tight and great. The campaign gives you serous spending cash and is amazing to play. Everything about this game is near perfect. Definitely would recommend.

    I’ve played this game over 500 hours! And i can say with confidence that this is the best game i’ve ever played!
    The positive aspects of the game:
    1. Interesting story of three friends-thief's. 2.Good graphics (at time 2013-2014). 3.Large open world. 4.Online mode (still popular). 5.Variaty of transport and tuning. 6.Variaty of weapons The negative aspects of the game: 1.Bad AI at    I’ve played this game over 500 hours!
