    Compared to Ragnarok this game is a masterpiece. Baldur was a REAL THREAT and the final battle with him is just OVERWHELMING, the story is just chef kiss. As you progress through the story, you also perceive REAL moments of tension.

    Posiblemente el juego que opino que "mejor hecho está" de los que he jugado. A todos los niveles: historia y narrativa, gameplay, sonido y banda sonora, feedback de las mecánicas de juego y sobre todo la sensación de estar inmerso en los combates, sentirlos en las manos como si tuviéramos el hacha en ellas.     Gra bardzo dobra. Fabuła jak i gameplay trzyma wysoki poziom. Co prawda nie jest to stary (młody) Bóg wojny którego chyba wszyscy pokochali, jednak gra daje rade i nie przeszkadza mi to że Kratos przestał być takim masakratowem jak w Grecji

    On the other side, the narrative has the proper pace and always leaves you excited to know more about the story of the Realms, our protagonists and everything which happened before the beginning of their legendary journey. Moreover, the characters are really interesting and the main story makes you wish to discover more of all of them, such as their background and motivations. All of this is supplemented with high-quality side quests, which almost turn into mandatory if you want to get the maximum quality this game has to offer.
    The downfall, if any, would be the lack of variety in the design of enemies and bosses, which does not hold back the gameplay experience at all.
    Overall, I found in God of War a revolutionary gaming experience which rebuilt one of the best franchises from the ground up, including new features and getting rid of others, achieving an outstanding final result: a must play for all PS4 owners.    … Expand

    Quite a solid game with good storytelling, but it is overrated. The combat is kind of eh, a large percent of it is repetitive combos. When completing this game I decided to 100% it. I kinda like Boy and Kratos' reationship.

    Amazing game, great reboot. Never thought i was going to like something about mythology but this changed my mind. Great story and amazing setup for Ragnarok.

    Un excelente "reinicio" a la saga del espartano más famoso del videojuego. Una jugabilidad más cercana y una respuesta en el gameplay muy satisfactoria, las tierras nórdicas le han sentado tan bien a Kratos que ahora tiene un hijo llamado Atreus. Su forma de utilizar el plano-secuencia hace de este juego una delicia.

    excellent game. i just don’t like kratos as a protagonist much.. lack of emotion— which would be fine if we had more instances of him opening up significantly or even at least once in the game. they seem to try to show him opening up but i feel like they could have done better.

    One one the best continuations of an older video game series of all time, I haven't played the older god of war games but I do know much about them. I had to platinum this game because of it's incredible graphics and gameplay and mainly it's incredible character building.

    At first impression I put the game down and said I’ll redownload another day. I wasn’t into it. Then one day I felt the urge to give it an honest attempt. I now have the game platinumed. All other games I was playing at the time became irrelevant, including Witcher 3, Bloodborne, and Divinity Original Sin 2. It took my attention away from masterpieces. You tell me what that means.

The 360 grades change that this saga has suffered is the best change in the history of videogames. The combat feels amazing, there are a lot of combos, perks, hablities to improve and master them. The story is amazing. A 10/10 villain, a 10/10 relationship between Kratos andMy favorite game so this review could not be that objective as i would want. But for me this is a masterpiece. The 360 grades change that this saga has suffered is the best change in the history of videogames. The combat feels amazing, there are a lot of combos, perks, hablities to improve and master them. The story is amazing.     Oh boy! Where to begin?

    I guess the story:

    Fantastic, beautiful character development, funny moments, BOYYYYYYYY!!!!!! And of course... Kratos.

    The combat:

    The combat is really fun! Even though it's mostly spamming R1 and R2, but, you can feel the force throughout each attack.

    I have hardly anything bad to say about this game... But the puzzles could definitely use some more work...

    Holy crap Christopher Judge is an amazing voice actor!!! Also, yeah, this game is amazing, besides the generic title and the generic designs some enemies have this game is really engaging. The way you earn new abilities to keep you entertained is also a nice touch. This game definitely stands among the rest of the franchise as a certified masterpiece.

    The game has beautiful graphics, but the worst mistake a company can do to their customers is change the product that was beloved. God of War 3 is one of the best games I've ever played. You do a spinning attack and everything around Kratos is minced meat, while in God of War 4 a bug-like human can destroy me in 4 blows. I swing my axe and i might not even land a hit.

    Decent open world game, quite lengthy, lots of grinding and puzzles, some puzzles feel like whipped up in a hurry. Story telling sometimes feels like an too long podcast on autoplay. It was okay when they did it here in 2018, in 2022 doing it for the second time it felt repetitive.

    Pretty fun game with a well-built world that leaves me wanting more. Feels like I got done binging a season of TV. My dislikes are mostly the repeating execution animations and dialogue being interrupted during traveling transitions or turning away being drowned out.

    A ST. Monica fez um trabalho excelente na reformulação do que conhecíamos como God of War, trazendo uma forma completamente diferente e mais estratégica de jogar.

    O único motivo da nota não ser 10, é a pouca variedade de inimigos presentes no jogo.

    I never really enjoyed the first 3 games so I started this one with no expectations at all. I was so surprised I much I loved playing this game and I even went for all the trophies! A really great game!

    Zwar habe ich die Teile davor nie gespielt und habe von God of War nie was gehört, war ich wirklich begeistert von diesem Spiel, als ich es dann doch durchgespielt habe. So eine Story wie hier habe ich noch nie gesehen und das Gameplay hat sich sehr smooth angefühlt. Einzig die doch etwas kleine Boss-Variationen und das spammen von Truhen und Schätzen haben mich etwas gestört

    Was disappointed in GOW Ascension but with this new reboot it astonished me how this franchise revived the spirit of gaming in a new way with a new adventure, bosses and gameplay. Kratos looks older now with his son Atreus at his side and this game deserves all the credit is due with the additional challenges of battling all the valkeries you face as Kratos.

Good story, decent combat that becomes tedious quickly, dialogue sometimes dubious, but generally alright, voice acting decent, yet what could be an overall sublime game, is detracted by a slow, and limiting pacing system. If I want to spend 30 seconds to a minute running in 'fast travel' or wait 2 minutes, idling on my phone, whilst climbing an elevator, then ill go the shops and wait in a line.     A great reboot of a great Series. The characters are so cool and Interesting, the combat is great since you can use both, the leviatan axe and the chaos blades. The Story is so simple but just so great!
    but the bosses are mostly trolles are kinda boring, also the standart enemys are kinda repeating

    Absolutely incredible game in every way. Feels like a more graphically advanced, adult version of Zelda. The combat is as rewarding as any game ever made and is immensely satisfying. The only knocks are a relatively simplistic plot and a lack of world depth beyond Midgard which legitimately has 10 times the amount of goals as the other 3 explorable worlds.     This game is fantastic. The story is gripping and never gets annoying, the characters have life and real emotions, and the entire setting is the best I’ve ever seen. There are only 2 things that hold this game back for me. First is the enemy types. The enemy types in this game DO NOT vary at all. Throughout the entire story you encounter maybe 6 enemy types and some boss fights thatThis game is fantastic. The story is gripping and never gets annoying, the characters have life and real emotions, and the entire setting is the best I’ve ever seen. There are only 2 things that hold this game back for me.     El mejor Exclusivo de la PS4 sin dud alguna, vaya juego, vaya gameplay, vaya historia y vaya todo, casi perfecto, el cambio de aire que supuso para la saga y lo bien que lo hicieron es sin duda para alagar a Santa Monica, espero que cuando pueda probar Ragnarok quede aún mas maravillado que cuando probe este God Of War, si aún no lo juegan lo recomiendo mucho, muchísimo
