    Very terrible writing, gameplay sucks. If you like watching movies this game is for you as there is more cutscenes then gameplay.

    Really great game! It was my first introduction back into the god of war series since the original and I was hooked on this game until I completed it. The story and gameplay were top notch. My only complaint would be during some of the interaction cutscenes involving using the thumb sticks as some instances it felt as if my controller output wasn’t registering or maybe I was just bad atReally great game!     Everything about this game is done perfectly. The boss battles are the grand. The gameplay is addicting with the game giving you so many weapons and trinkets to use in combat to string together godlike combos that make you feel like a god of war.

    A classic PS3 got a remastered port and it was incredible let me tell you. I only saw a texture inside Gaia's heart glitched out, but what an incredible nostalgic experience. It played flawlessly from start to finish.

Historia poprowadzona została w na prawdę dobry sposób, wciągający był proces wspinaczki Kratosa na szczyt olimpu pokonując po drodze wszelkie przeszkody i sprawiły, że progresowaliśmy przez całą przygodę. Ogromną zaletą była tutaj też muzykaRewelacyjna gra o niesamowitej rozgrywce. Postać Kratosa prezentuje się wyśmienicie podczas potyczek z bogami olimpu a dubbing na prawdę daje radę. Historia poprowadzona została w na prawdę dobry sposób, wciągający był proces wspinaczki Kratosa na szczyt olimpu pokonując po drodze wszelkie przeszkody i sprawiły, że progresowaliśmy przez całą przygodę.     Simply amazing. The best of the franchise for sure. It's epic from the beginning to the end, and, for the first time in GoW games, I got angry. That feeling makes you want to destroy everything in front of you and it's amazing.

    The graphic evolution shows how much the devs were limited in the PS2 era. The scale grows so much and it combines with the plot. Gore is just amazing for a PS3    Simply amazing. The best of the franchise for sure. It's epic from the beginning to the end, and, for the first time in GoW games, I got angry. That feeling makes you want to destroy everything in front of you and it's amazing.

    The graphic evolution shows how much the devs were limited in the PS2 era. The scale grows so much and it combines with the plot. Gore is just amazing for a PS3 game. The reflexes, rain, fire, and other effects gave soul to the gameplay - visually speaking.

    And gameplay-wise... Undoubtedly, that is the better of all GoW games, including the moral reboot. You feel powerful and the variety of combos is way larger. Every gun is usable and has its purpose. With is perfect, you can naturally power up much of your arsenal to the max this time. Also, the skills mapped to the d-pad were a good insight. Another thing I loved about this game was the enemies. There are a lot of them and a lot of ways to kill each one.

    The bosses icing on the cake. They are challenging, but not so much, which I like in the context - since all we want is to destroy. The design of them is unique, as the quick time events. Also, something I did not like in the beginning was the smash buttons style, but I'm already missing it in GoW 2018, to be honest.

    The level design and puzzles are good, especially the first one. Actually, all the art direction is amazing in all scenarios. And the story... man, I was into it. A lot. Had to say, a good ending is not easy. I'm happy they got it in this one.    … Expand

    This is one of the best games i ever played. I bought it with my PS4 years ago and i loved the game. It's interesting, it's colorful, it doesn't allow me to get bored. I played it two times and I'd do it again.

    Played this to get ready for ragnarok, I play almost all my games on hard mode. It might only haven't aged well but man it's painful to play even on normal difficulty. The game wants you to rely on blocks and parries but the enemies animations are so bad it's really hard to get the good timing. I stopped playing after beating the second boss. :(

This has undoubtedly one of the best graphics as a remastered from PS3 era. And the playthrough is still fun. But it's more of "I just want to see what's happening next" that kept me continuing.     Spaßig mit enorm nervigen Passagen. Bei einer muss man auf einer Plattform Wellen an Gegnern daran hindern die Plattform abstürzen zu lassen. War zu seiner Zeit gängiges Gameplay ist heutzutage nur noch nervig. Außerdem gibt es paar Kletter Passagen die einfach nur die Hölle sind. Dennoch ist das Gameplay im großen und ganzen echt gut gealtert und macht Spaß. Das Kämpfen ist einfach undSpaßig mit enorm nervigen Passagen.     Como siempre, hay que tener en cuenta que esto es un remaster, un lavado de cara del juego original de PS3 y hay que decir que le sienta genial en lo visual. Se ve como un juego actual y el lavado de cara aumenta exponencialmente la espectacularidad que ya de por sí es inherente al juego.

    Para los que no lo hayan jugado nunca, o conozcan a Kratos solo por la última entrega o por los constantes anuncios de Ragnarok, decir que esto es un hack and slash de la vieja escuela con resolución de puzzles, con una historia excelente y un diseño absolutamente magistral. Cada uno de los juegos es un enorme puzzle dividido en varios puzzles más pequeños. El combate es fluido y espectacular, hace parecer al jugador que es un verdadero maestro con el mando, alternando combos y magias ante verdaderas hordas de enemigos cada vez mejor equipados y poderosos. Mención especial para los combates contra los jefes finales, con esos QTE que ya son marca de la casa. La tercera entrega se caracteriza por ser la más retorcida y espectacular, si cabe, de los 3 juegos originales en lo que concierne a su diseño.

    Creo que he jugado pocos juegos de este género tan redondos como este God of War. Los 3 primeros merecen la pena, pero el 3 es probablemente el mejor de ellos. Must play sin duda.    … Expand

I've decided to try 3 remastered I got for free in ps plus years ago, and was surprised so much. Gameplay is a bit aged, however, the game itself is fun and I think it's even better than 2018 :) They are different games, eras(ps3 vs ps4) and budgets, however this old gameI liked the 2018 God of war. I disagree with statement, that GoW is the best game ever, but definitely a great game. I've decided to try 3 remastered I got for free in ps plus years ago, and was surprised so much. The game is great fun and if you've never played it, this is the way to experience it. But if you've already mastered it on PS3, you probably won't need this.     The ending where kratos shows his caring side, and travel through the river of sadness and find hope was impressive. The suicide really had an impact, and symbolically it was the end of the vengenceful Kratos.    … Expand

    - the animations and cinematics were phenomenal. The finisher animations were nothing but brutal and satisfying to execute. It really made me feel Krato's blood lust and anger. - Kratos was a relatable character to me. His struggles with self-forgiveness and his journey for redemption in a way reflects my own past and my inability to forgive myself for some things in my distant    Good

    - Kratos was a relatable character to me. His struggles with self-forgiveness and his journey for redemption in a way reflects my own past and my inability to forgive myself for some things in my distant past. So in a way, this game taught me something important. To move on.

    - the weapons are very cool. I like how they each have different dodge animations.

    - the new abilities were creative as well, like hermes boots. The way Kratos killed Icarus was crazy. In fact, every boss death animations was just so epic. The presentation is top notch.

    - Kratos has a lot more character. The attention to his movements and expressions were deep.

    Bad

    - there were some awkward puzzles that weren't clear. There was one part where the climbing controls reversed as I climbed onto a perpendicular surface which caused my death.

    - Some of the areas were huge, and the camera is zoomed way out. This made certain parts hard to see as I was fighting a horde or enemies, or trying to platform.    … Expand

    Speaking of compelling, the voice actor for Kratos isn't very good-especially compared to the fact that they have some really impressive actors cast as side characters. Kratos just seems to grunt his way through each conversation.

    The combat was decent. By the end of it I was mostly button mashing and they do throw an annoying amount of enemies at you.

    Overall, I'm glad that I played it, the game just didn't stand out to me like some of the other entries in the series.    … Expand

    This game was the first game I played in the series and it was the very first game I bought when I got my PS4. The expectations were high since I'd heard so many positive remarks about it. To be honest, it wasn't the perfect game everyone was praising it to be. I played through it a second time just to see if I'd changed my mind but no the problem remains.     This game was the first game I played in the series and it was the very first game I bought when I got my PS4. The expectations were high since I'd heard so many positive remarks about it. To be honest, it wasn't the perfect game everyone was praising it to be. I played through it a second time just to see if I'd changed my mind but no the problem remains. The combat gets repetitive and stale after a few hours of playing. The Character of Kratos doesn't make for a compelling character. He is always angry and constantly yelling at people. It may sound cool for a few minutes but it doesn't make his character any likable. There was too much unnecessary violence. I felt that the game was violent for the sake of being violent. There were scenes when you rip someone's head off or cut off another one's legs or throw a girl into a crank and she gets reduced to a pool of blood. It's like the developers said: you wanted violence? well, here you go!
    So to summarize: The combat gets repetitive, the main character is always angry and yelling, and players can't sympathize with him, the game is just too violent for no reason.

    I did'n like it very much. The game starts with fighting enemy bosses? Are you serious? I Completed it with 51%, but I was very disappointed and a little bored. Try GOW 2018 witch is perfect.

    (Played in 2021) breathtaking fights since the beginning of the game, good graphics and breathtaking history, the gamplay is old-fashioned but comumque enjoyable and satisfying, ready for the sequel!

    After playing the game on the P.S Vita I wanted to finish the story, and what a remasted game this is! Great graphics one of the best in the PlayStation 4 and the game is easier for me but very enjoyable finale.

Maybe Helios or Kratos himself? It is worth mentioning that defeating each boss is really a challenge (if you play the game at least on normal difficulty).

    I finished the game in about 13 hours, so the game confiscated me for three in the afternoon. This is not bad at all and due to the non-stop action that is in the game from start to finish, you won't even like it like those 13 hours.

    This game really preceded its time when it was released on the Playstation 3. It was played on the Playstation 5 and I have to say just WoW.

    The game had only a few small cons. One of them, for example, some of the puzzles, or the system of jumping from harp to harp, also annoyed me several times.

The story of god of war 3 starts where the previous game ended and I will not give you spoilers so as not to ruin your plot of the game because the game is quite short 10 hours or so of play.     WOW! great remake for PS4! graphics good,textures good,good job SONY! For me GOD OF WAR 3 this was fueled with pure adventure and a great story how KRATOS face with olympian gods one by one...perfect I JUST RECOMMEND!

    Having played the original GOW3 on ps3 10 years ago , i was just amazed by how the frame rate of this one is on my PS4. Anyways , this game in my opinion is a masterpiece with a satisfying conclusion to the Greek saga for Kratos before he moved to Midgard.

    Soberbio en todos los aspectos. El combate es espectacular, fluido, bárbaro y sangriento. Manejamos un Kratos enfurecido y eso se nota nada más comenzar la aventura.
    Por otro lado debemos hablar que la trama principal se trata de una venganza, de una lucha por acabar con el Olimpo y todos sus dioses. Todos los escenarios del videojuego, desde el Hades, la fragua de Hefesto, el Jardín de Hera o el Laberinto de Dédalo son simplemente grandiosos, dignos de los dioses, cargados de diferentes atmósferas. La banda sonora que acompaña el juego es una de las mejores que he escuchado, envolviendo los diferentes escenarios y combates de brutalidad y fuerza.
    Los combates principales contra dioses es sin duda uno de sus aspectos más llamativos. Cada enfrentamiento es diferente y suponen diferentes retos. Simplemente con pensar que te estás enfrentando a un coloso como Cronos o al padre de los dioses como es Zeus se te pone la piel de gallina. Además recursos como la sangre están presente en cada combate para añadir más brutalidad a estos. Aparte de esto, a medida que Kratos va derrotando dioses, su equipo se va completando y así poder disfrutar de armas poderosas como los "Cestus de Nemea" o el "Arco de Apolo" y cada una de ellas con diferentes animaciones y utilidades. Además estas armas se pueden mejorar en transcurso de la partida.
    Además, es también espectacular ver como en esta "odisea", Kratos va ascendiendo desde el abismo del Hades hasta la cima del Olimpo, se trata de una ascensión digna de un dios, un viaje a través de lugares legendarios.
    La remasterización añade resolución en 1080 y mejoras de color y sombras, unos toques idóneos para mejorar una obra de arte que no necesita ningún cambio más.
    Fallos tiene muy pocos, pero siempre va a ver algo que se pueda mejorar, la perfección no existe.    … Expand

    Finally got around to playing this one!! Was a great game. Combat is as great as it was in the previous ones, the story kept me interested. It’s a great mix of puzzles and complete chaos. I went in to this one with the intention of flying through it so I could move on to the new God of War. However I thoroughly enjoyed this title. This game is the typical God of War series game brought you back to the time when Krato was dominating the Gods.     A zero-hassle remaster of a great action hack 'n' slash. The combat system is still great, even if inferior to that of some Japanese games of the same genre, and the graphics have aged extraordinarily well. Still, as we said, a lot more could have been done in this remaster.

    The fact that the Photo Mode is one of the emphasized features tells everything about how necessary this remaster was and how much effort was put into it. Yes, the textures are sharper, the lighting is better, but the difference is not breathtaking, because the game was already stunningly beautiful before. It’s not how I imagined Kratos’ assault on PS4. So why such a high score? Five years later it’s still an exceptional game and I envy everyone who is to experience this grand adventure for the first time. [09/2015, p.43]
