    I haven’t finished the first act mainly because I’ve been tied up with side quests and hunt done enemies that I can do standoffs with. Combat is amazing, story so far is amazing. Very Minor issues nothing close to game breaking or annoying. I’ve always wanted an Assassin’s Creed like game with Samurai and Sucker Punch delivered and than some.

    I enjoyed the 1 on duels so much. I also like that we had a choice in the ending

    Great game, I enjoy how beautiful the open world is. Combat feels a little monotonous like the ai blocks onc in a while your attacks. So it feels not 100% realistic. But, it's a fun game. And story is interesting and to have the option to be stealthy is a great option. Its not a perfect game. But. It probably get patched and be almost a 10. Hope we get a sequel on ps5.

    Together with God of War, Days Gone and The Last of Us (Part 1), Ghost of Tsushima made me me so glad to have a PS4, best game I have played in a long long time, with a difficulty just perfect, beautiful samurai/ninja aesthetic, best game of 2020 hands down, CyberPunk 2077 will have trouble to win this year

    This game was PHENOMENAL. The story was amazing, and the way you play the game changes the outcome, it really is great. Beautiful environments, great characters, fantastic combat, and a big map. That map isn’t filled with nothingness either, you get to free settlements and farmsteads and find cool cosmetic items throughout the map, as well as shrines and things of that sort that willThis game was PHENOMENAL.     Surely the best game of 2020. In the beginning it seems that you're just going to play another Assassin's Creed (located in Japan). As the story develops you notice that you were completly wrong.

    A beautiful swansong, a real masterpiece. Stunning visual with great characters, and the combat is also funtastic. Maybe a stealth section not the gteatest part of the game, but not so bad either. If you like samurai movies or the Japan culture, this game will be a dream come true. 10/10

    Being a fan of the genre, I absolutely loved this game! The beautiful open world, the combat and story were all on point. Hoping there’s a 2nd game or at least a DLC. MAKE IT HAPPEN SUCKER PUNCH!

    This game only having an 83 on Metacritic is absolutely criminal. What an astonishing game. The gameplay is so addicting and satisfying and the graphics are stunning and glorious. Looks like an epic painting at times. Stand offs are brilliant and will NEVER get old, the game has deeper mechanics than I ever would’ve imagined, and “boss fight” duels are glorious and intense.     Beautiful, fun with many interesting mechanics, it plays like a dream with perfectly mapped out controls. The characters are interesting, not cardboard cutouts, flawed people without being beaten over the head with it. It pulls you in and keeps your attention! Can't wait for more games like this from Sucker Punch.

Because Sucker Punch just did it better than they ever could. Ghost of Tsushima is a proper swan song for the PS4.     This game is everything I wanted the last of us 2 to be. A tragic story that's very dark and brutal, but good enough that it grips you and makes you want to see it through to the end. I have a hard time talking about this game and finding anything negative to say about it. I expected it to be good, but it went above and beyond the expectations I had for it. As disappointed as I was that it got pushed back to July, I feel like this game was the best send-off for the ps4, as we head into the new generation of consoles.… Expand

    With the main story being on the cliche side of things and with some questionable writing decisions, but still providing very emotional moments, it highlights the secondary quests with much more interesting plot directions and characters.
    The gameplay and combat overall can feel repetitive, but the RPG systems make up for it.
    Although my good experience with this game, it doesn't feel like it lives up to the Sony's PS4 last breath on this generation's console games.    … Expand

There are moments when I got chills running all over my body, jumping away from the couch, wavering my arms in the air like I was truly 'in' the battlefield. NowThis is more than just a game.     Absolutely loved the game great story, great visuals, great characters, and a good combat could have been slightly better but still works. Only issues you will face is some glitches but they are trying to improve them with each update. At the end it's a must play game for a PS4 owner have a good day .

I wish there had been some bigger battles that included more people on both sides, like an open grasslands fight with like 200 on each side. Maybe that's a bit much but you get what i mean. There are of course some things here and there that could be improved but everything else you get to do makes up for it.     The game is beautiful but also bland during battle. I haven't beat it yet but about 7 hours in and its kinda boring. I was never into dark souls or any game like that. I really dislike the assasins creed games and it really reminds me of those. Its a alrught and im gonna finish it.

    First thing's first, the game is absolutely gorgeous. Although one thing i will say is that the facial animations seem off to me and the lip syncing if off.     The game play is where this game shines. I am playing on the highest difficulty where every sword strike is lethal. This makes combat tense and forces you too approach combat methodically. Stealth is also fun and tense. But i do prefer direct confrontation over stealth.

    The rpg elements are very fun. I love finding new fox den's, haiku areas, bamboo strike areas, etc. There are also tons of collectables in this game.

    All in all this is so far the best game of 2020 and one of the best games i have played in the past few years. It is a must play for the ps4. 10/10 from me.    … Expand

    Ghosts has some major presentation flaws, zoomed out cameras during dialog constantly, cookie cutter boring interiors, lack luster acting (IMO), zero creativity with the camera during dialog scenes. lack of UI customization, weak AI damage models (make everything bloody with no visual damage) except for the same right arm getting chopped off occasionally.     Desde la propuesta inicial de una invasión mongola en la isla de Tsushima la cual provocaría la muerte de todos los samuráis existentes en la isla, salvo un par. Una propuesta cautivadora que no me hizo querer despegarme del control por muchas horas.
    Me encuentro en el tercer acto y con 61 horas puedo dar una opinión y de la historia, la historia empieza fuerte    -ALERTA DE SPOILERS-
    Desde la propuesta inicial de una invasión mongola en la isla de Tsushima la cual provocaría la muerte de todos los samuráis existentes en la isla, salvo un par. Una propuesta cautivadora que no me hizo querer despegarme del control por muchas horas.
    Me encuentro en el tercer acto y con 61 horas puedo dar una opinión y de la historia, la historia empieza fuerte después decae un pelín pero se recupera y se supera brutalmente en el acto 2, en especial en la misión de la invasión al castillo Shimura y defendiendo a Yarikawa, esas dos misiones tuvieron momentos que me dejaron pasmado.... cuando masacro al líder mongol en Yarikawa, simplemente impactante. No solo por lo grafico si no por el peso narrativo. Y en el asedio al castillo Shimura donde su tio ve a El Fantasma envenenar y decapitar mongoles para infundir miedo.
    Y posteriormente cuando le dice a su tío que no es su hijo, es El fantasma. Simplemente alucinante y me dio pena cuando Shimura quemo el "contrato" que convertía a Jin en su hijo legitimo aprobado por el Shogun. Y que posteriormente su tío quisiera llevar a juicio ante el Shogun, al que consideraba su hijo hace poco. Momentos de la historia cómo esos hacen que valga completamente la experiencia y acompañados de un mapeado hermoso como lo es la isla de Tsushima, repleto de muchos relatos que contar e historias míticas. Y un pueblo de Tsushima vivo el cual constantemente los NPC´s comentan mis hazañas en la historia desde mi inicio como Samuai hasta mi acenso a ser "El Fantasma De Tsushima".
    En el aparatado jugable simplemente cada vez me sorprende mas, desde el viento guía teniendo el significado que es su padre que lo guía en su viaje hasta mas recientes, no parando de introducir elementos jugables, los mas recientes como "La postura del Fantasma" y el cañón de flechas que se usa en zonas puntuales. Y uno que pinta que llegara pronto es la flecha envenenada. Simplemente alucinante y ver las ultimas sorpresas que me deparan. El combate una vez que lo dominas es una constante danza de sangre... encantador.
    Otros apartados como el sonido, doblaje, gráficos,
    El audio siendo nuevamente un apartado sobresaliente y el buen doblaje al español latino que siempre se aprecia.
    Si bien los gráficos no son punteros como puede ser Red Dead Redemption 2 o The Last Of Us Parte 2, estos cumplen muy bien sin tener nada que envidiar a sus contrincantes.
    De momento le doy un 9.2 pero en esta reseña le doy 9 porque es la cifra mas aproximada. En cuanto finalice el juego tratare de editar esta reseña u hacer otra simplemente hablando de su desenlace y últimos elementos que trascurrirán en este tercer acto. Y diciendo sus puntos negativos que le vi al juego, o no necesariamente negativos pero si mejorables que me detienen en darle una nota superior. Seguiré con mi leyenda y probablemente un platino.

    Goty easily it’s not even close. Makes tlou2 look like trash because it is. Hilarious how they gave this game a 83. When tlou2 has a 94. Idk what game they played but this game in literally every single way except maybe graphics but that’s preference because this game is beautiful and the load times are like 2 seconds on the pro.

This work was created by a Western company based on the motive of another country, but it is surprisingly well understood and well described. Due to the characteristics of the subject matter of this work, it inevitably contains beautification of samurai, but I personally don't think it's a big problem because it also clearly describes the part of alternative history, or rather degrades it. As for the action, it's perfectly designed. I think it is a very good judgment that Parry created a special attack by enemies that cannot be prevented in several stages so that it is not a universal measure.     An amazing well designed game. Sucker punch production amaze you with its graphical details in every point of the game. The open world concept is well thought and has Been executed very well. My only complain was with a few minor glitches and NPC movements which im sure will be fixed in future updates.

    I am a huge fan of samurai movies, and pretty much anything set in old school Japan. This game ticked all the boxes for me. Amazing combat that is surprisingly deep, beautiful world to explore, and meaningful side content to do. This is a true masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

Die Open World ist deutlich kompakter, weniger redundant und kann auch völlig frei ohne Marker und Karte erforscht und beherrscht werden. Das Kampfsystem ist anpassungsfähig und deutlich komplexer. Hat man seinen Build gefunden, kämpft man wie im Flow, kombiniert verschiede Schläge, wirftGhost of Tsushima ist das bessere Assassin's Creed. For sure. Es macht alles in allen Belangen besser. Die Open World ist deutlich kompakter, weniger redundant und kann auch völlig frei ohne Marker und Karte erforscht und beherrscht werden. Das Kampfsystem ist anpassungsfähig und deutlich komplexer. Hat man seinen Build gefunden, kämpft man wie im Flow, kombiniert verschiede Schläge, wirft Messer in heranstürmende Gegner um sie zum taumeln zu bringen, blocked den Angriff eines weiteren Gegner um gleich zum schnellen Konter auszuholen. Auch das Schleichen funktioniert bei Ghost deutlich besser als in Assassin's Creed. Allerdings zeigen sich hier auch die Ähnlichkeiten beider Spiele, nämlich in der doch sehr dummen Gegner KI. Diese sind nämlich zu leicht auszutricksen. An den Realismus von Naughty Dog Produktionen kommt Sucker Punch hier kaum heran. I was really surprised that they didn't go for another but like Guerrilla Games did with HZD, they managed to outdo the game series that they are known for in every way possible. First of all, story wise : classic revenge plot done perfectly well. No doubt it is nothing ground breaking in this aspect but this is the tale you want to hear. Classic, simple : good old vengeance. And I would say it felt really really amazing to do the main quests. But there is a reason why I think this game is almost perfect in every other way. First : Graphics are amazing. The world is gorgeous and the setting is just amazing. When it rains and you are riding your horse through the beautiful forests of Tsushima, you can almost smell the earthy scent emanating from the ground. But well visuals are visuals, they add to the experience, so the gameplay : this is where the game shines. It might be the most satisfying game I have played this generation. The sword, the combat : everything is perfect. This is what Assassin's creed should be whenever they decide to bring the series to Japan. The combat is responsive and the system of choosing between stealth and killing by stabbing people in "not so samurai ways" (makes sense in the story) or challenging the people to a stand off and honourably having a well crafted fighting sequence is upto you and both are done perfectly well. Finally, the place which is usually where a lot of open world games fall apart : side quests, side missions, exploration and collectibles. And I am glad that the level of quality of these matches that of the main campaign, graphics and combat and makes the game feel extremely immersive. There are three types of quests mainly. Main, Side and Mythic. And while main is obviously the important one, the other two are amazingly well done. It never feels like you are doing chores to just get to 100%. You simply do them because you just want more and more. Exploring the world to find the relaxing baths, the shrines, following the foxed and birds, finding things and protecting people: all feel natural and are something you would do without even thinking about it. Usually when going for 100% in even the best of games, some tasks are just too repetitive (I feel this way about even one of my favourite games of all time : red dead 2 and even about the easy to 100% Spiderman ps4): but in this it doesn't. Because, the combat is so well done that you keep wanting to fight more enemies. One side note: the way this game handles the map is amazing. If you have yet to try it, you will see what I mean when you do and yes, ofc, buy this. No doubt worth it. Overall, easily one of the best games of this generation with an amazingly well done campaign, fun side tasks, beautiful graphics, great presentation, awesome combat and a really well crafted open world and plus, a really nice way to handle tracking quests, maps and all with minimal intrusion to the experience : this for me so far is GOTY 2020.… Expand

En el apartado artístico es de los puntos más importantes del juego al crear efectos en el ambiente o la paleta de colores que usan en ciertas zonas del mapa que me ha encantado, y a la vez la banda sonora es increíble, en algunas peleas la música ayuda a que sea un ambiente de pelea más épico y al final te deja una sensación de satisfacción de esa pelea. En cuanto a lo que no me gustó pues, en algunas animaciones de personajes creo que se pudiera haber pulido un poco más ya que en algunas ocasiones esas animaciones se ven medio raras, otro aspecto creo que no me gustó fue que las misiones secundarias, como las bases o el ayudar a los npc se hace muy repetitivo y aveces cansa, y por último creo que algunos coleccionables se puede hacer tedioso debido a que debes estar atento a tu alrededor, explorar todo el mapa y puede ocasionar de que estás haciendo una misión y puede que te distraigas o sientas la necesidad de desviarte dé lo que en verdad querías hacer y por último el sistema de combate fue algo confuso al principio, debido a que hay ocasiones que tienes a muchos enemigos y debes estar atento a cuando cambiar tu posición de batalla, cuando esquivar o bloquear. Para finalizar creo que es de los mejores exclusivos que a sacado PlayStation esta generación y me parece excelente que con este título se despida esta generación de PlayStation, me deja un buen sabor de boca este titulo.… Expand

Graphics and story are good quality, and so far voice talent is done fairly well. Combat is fun and rewarding to me. I felt like I was becoming more skilled with the Katana. The camera is not very friendly, enemies are hiding off screen that come in and hit you. During standoff mode you can end up with a tree branch completely blocking your view and you won't be able to see the enemy to react to their strike. The map is large which is great but I get lost easily and find myself referring to the map a lot. I am still in the first large section of the beginning map and would like to see more recognizable land marks and a wider variety of terrain to help determine different locations. Having the story interact with locations more would help make them more memorable. When exploring it is a lot of the same terrain despite some sections with different colored trees/flowers. Movement for climbing mountains, ledges, ladders, and so forth is not very fluid. Many times I get stopped completely at a small ledge or will completely pass a ladder and need to turn and run back to it to attempt to climb again. Each of these issues makes the game frustrating at times but still playable. Hopefully some updates will fix them. Overall good game with some movement and camera mechanics that need adjusting. Hopefully next game will add some new terrain with more memorable and noticeable landscape "markers", and find a way to incorporate them in the story. The land is by far one of the most beautiful I have seen in a game and they definitely need to use that to their advantage next time.
    Edit : After playing the game more it has become extremely old...same thing over and over and over again. Will probably not replay again. Moved on to second island. Was expecting something different from first island. Its not, more of the same. Not a bad game but can't handle the repetativeness. Struggling to complete it.    … Expand

    Okay so, this game took me by surprised when I actually saw the presentation on recent months. I remember the first time they presented it like a year ago or some, but I never expected this game was going to be this beautiful, fun and addicting. I'll say little about it so I dont spoil much, but hey if you like samurais and classic samurai or sword play or katana action, THIS GAME IS FOR YOU.

    The only place this game really faulters is in its open world design. While i still find enjoyment out of worlds like this, this game uses many of the same elements that too many open world games use these days. A lot of missions tend to get very repetitive, especially when it comes to the many side missions. Many either boil down to traveling to an area to kil enemies or tracking a person that leads to more enemies or even the occassional fetch quest.

    That being said, the game adds enough new elements in the mix to make it stand out. When it comes to exploring, you may come across an animal that leads you to an area of interest, and even the repetitive side quests all tend to have some kind of interesting narrative to them, even if they're present for just a few minutes.

    Overall, this one of my favorite games of the year and I recommend it for anyone who likes action games.    … Expand

    It has some technical flaws, few design oversights, but damn this game has some serious soul, thanks to all the Devs that poured so much heard into this game, I felt it all the way to the end. Also, pls promote whoever was in charge of the environment design, he or sheabsolutely owned it and made me gaze in awe at all the beauty this game has in it's world.

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
