    Weak story, weak and repetitive side quests, and bland world. Graphics are amazing but this is basically Assassin's Creed Japan. Very little effort went into this game by the developers. Only casual gamers would enjoy this

I think it's an open world game too much limited, it took me 'bout 20 hours to rescue Shimura, hours that seemed endless clearing Mongolian camps in Izuhara like a Far Cry, the story had excellent potential, but it is poorly told, Everything is going very well, and one mission later everything goes very wrong, I did everything I could without using stealth, I would have liked that the use of stealth or face-to-face combat had consequences in the story and the characters, like Dishonored does, the way how is limited by camps that aren't your level is also very abrupt, with deluges of arrows coming from… non-existent bows? please. I have completed it 100%, and I have felt all this as an rpg player and a lover of Japanese culture, artistically it is amazing, but in terms of playability I don't like it.… Expand

    one of the most boring games. The only thing i liked about the game was the combat, even tho after some time it became repetitive. The side quests began to feel like chores, nothing interesting about them. It s definitely an over rated game. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for an immersive story and a complex open world game

    Excruciatingly long introduction with unskippable cutscenes, then onto boring and repetitive "kill wave after wave of enemies" missions and world events. Combat is atrocious when you're not fighting the camera (which is most of the time) and the whole standoff gimmick seems completely pointless - it adds nothing.

    Visually it's really nice, the gameplay works well (althought it gets really boring after a while). But I did not enjoy my time with it. Everything is bleak and depressing. And at the end of the day, enjoying it is the most important part.

    Totally Overrated, the Story isnt sadly that good, really not a Single interesting figure in this, i like Shimura, thats all, all side kicks especially Yuna are just terrible and she's only in the Game to show that Women can be Strong too. Yuna is Ruinen the whole Game to me, The Fight System is very unfair. But it looks beautiful, thats all

    Unplayable horrible aim movement. So sluggish and time consuming that every single time you want to look at any direction, which is several hundreds of thousands to a million times on one play though, it takes full second till anything starts really moving. At slowest, its like do you want to wait retirement or insanity come first. Samurai and ninjagames should be superfast, not slower than a snail. No options to change buttons neither.

    I am professional samurai and random fighter is faster than me that i need to avoid his sword. But when i hit him, he can block easily. Nice logic

    I'm pretty surprised at the score here.

    So I played the intro section and a few minutes more and I was bored. Really bored. I just got an old Monster Hunter a few days ago and it was more entertaining in 5 minutes than this was in an hour. So basically this feels like a more boring, less fluid, worse looking version of Gujian 3. I have played a few hours of Gujian 3 and it has left me    I'm pretty surprised at the score here.

    The game felt like a film with button presses and sluggish action. Now I can deal with this type of thing, I really enjoyed Beyond Two Souls but the character, this Jin guy, I didn't want to be him, he was so (and I know I'm repeating this word) boring. I just wanted him to get killed off. I love Samurai, I love Japanese things and this is a stunning game but that is it. This Jin guy was like an annoying little millennial **** of a Samurai. There is honour and there is being a bell end. There is a fine line and he crossed it. Jumped up and down on that line.

    GoT is a bit like pulling a model on a night out and getting her home to find out the beef curtains be smelling more like a 2 week old tuna butty than a prime cut.

    As if the immersion of being in the shoes of a character I wanted to punch wasn't game breaking enough. The PS4 started up its propeller every 30 seconds, sounding like it was ready to launch a NASA rocket.

    So if you want a historical Asian style game with good action and stunning graphics. Personally, for me, Gujian 3 is way better.

    I give a point for the bloody brilliant graphics.

    -9 for bad characters, story, gameplay and making my PS4 fan work it's ticket to the extreme. I don't really remember the sound being good, or bad. I'm guessing it was probably just OK. Maybe I just couldn't hear it over the frigging fan that was only recently dismantled and cleaned out.    … Expand

    Ghost of Tsushima is an annoying and boring game with a good combat. Also the unskippable cutscenes are a nightmare.

    Game is average.Story is fine and nothing more.Unskippable slow and sometimes boring cutscenes.Graphic is on a level of Horizon Zero Dawn.Few annoying bugs like climbing a ladder is very frustrating to hit.All in all there are better titles out there.

    We played those games many times.
    Third person action game with basic stealth in bushes.
    You cannot use uchigatana, spear, naginata or other samurai weapons.
    Story is boring.

    Extremely overrated game. The writing ranges from predictable to cringe-worthy. Gameplay is a cheap knockoff of AC:Odyssey, where Sucker Punch made absolutley sure to copy all the mechanics that are stupid and annoying (i.e. the dumb ability-wheel), but did not include any of the polish. Even simple traversal is a pain and fall damage is out of control. Archery stinks completely, it's notExtremely overrated game. The writing ranges from predictable to cringe-worthy. I give it one point for some pretty scenery and decent English voice acting. I feel sad for all those people who confuse Ghost of Tsushima with quality entertainment.    … Expand

Chasing foxes and birds , these are just chores, boring chores. So many things you need to do, yet so littleThe characters are so dull. The story is so generic.     Para mí parecer, es un videojuego muy aburrido que se hace largo a partir de las 10 horas de juego. Las misiones son super repetitivas y el ir de un sitio a otro se hace muy pesado. El personaje principal no tiene ningún carisma ni personalidad. Eso sí la ambientación es increíble y acompañan los gráficos.

    Sorry but this game is not for me, i seen the trailer, and the gameplay, and it turns out boring and somewhat downgrade, almost the same downgrade like ubisoft, the story is just ordinary, there's not hing that really made me interested on this, gameplay is super crap, graphics is just ok, i don't know if this a rip off, but if you ask me, i do not like it, and i do not recommend it.

    Maybe my problem was that I played this game right after Sekiro and Sekiro is much great than this one. But Ghost of Tsushima is, for me a very big mistake.
    I wasnt able to finish it, played around 15 hours and was so bored    I didnt like the game, gameplay was repetitive, graphics where dull and story was cliche. Missions were the same all over the game and skills didnt make an impact.
    Maybe my problem was that I played this game right after Sekiro and Sekiro is much great than this one. But Ghost of Tsushima is, for me a very big mistake.

    - Pésimo historia
    - Sistema de combate simple y repetitivo
    - Mal diseño de escenas y sin poder saltarse
    - Mismo diseño de misiones aburridos durante todo el juego que arruina el ritmo
    - Sistema de escalada automática
    - 3/4 del juego es innecesario

    Not really enjoyable to me. I found the story to be bland and the gameplay too simple. Highly prefer Sekiro :)

    The best samurai game in a long time and a great fun for all, who love action. Love for Japan and its history is a big plus, but its knowledge is not necessary to enjoy every minute of this beautiful game. [Issue#305]

    Ghost of Tsushima is a flawed, but fun, game. While the gameplay itself was solid, and the story was decent, I definitely expected a lot more from Sony’s final PlayStation 4 exclusive. It had enough to keep me hooked, but lacked the polish we’ve all grown to love from a Sony first party game.

    Ultimately, it feels like the game could have benefited from a smaller scope or a more linear structure. Focus on the duels could have created a more engrossing product, especially if it honed in on the narrative for a more concise and cinematic experience. But as it stands, Ghost of Tsushima is another AAA open world title and doesn’t seek to define itself as anything other than that.
