Gang Beasts is a game for friends. It's funny, silly and inconsequential. With a huge array of costumes to wear and places to brawl, you can play one game or ten and have a great time.

At the end of the day, Gang Beasts is a straight-up treat. It’s perfect for those looking for a new game to play with friends (maybe while waiting for Smash Bros. to finally come to Switch). The technical difficulties encountered are outweighed by the enormous amounts of fun to be had. Gang Beasts has so much character and moments of hilarity that it can’t be recommended enough. Gang Beasts runs $19.99 and with the promise of free new game modes, maps and other features on the horizon, it’s worth the pair of Andrew Jacksons.

Gang Beasts' madcap brawling creates a dynamic alliance between conflict and chaos. It also enables human responses like surprise, merriment, revenge, and screaming. Driving a wobbly creature to comically murder another flailing mess, as it turns out, is a pleasant and repeatable practice. If only three of your friends could always come along for the ride.

Not quite the classic it could have been, and the appeal wanes with time, but still a strong party starter. [Feb 2018, p.72]

A stumbling and flailing spectacle of a physics brawler, Gang Beasts might have all the poise and grace of a bar dust up on a Friday night, but it remains hugely entertaining when played with friends all the same.

Gang Beasts is far from perfect, then; it's all a little too messy for its own good, and it's still a super slight package despite its extended stay in Early Access. That spark is still there, though, and this remains a uniquely boisterous party game that's well worth having on tap. It's earned its place - just - with those other modern multiplayer classics, even if it doesn't quite have their class.

What a waste of time and money. Do not buy this. With so long in development, a well-meaning audience would expect more than this trash. TheWhat a waste of time and money. Do not buy this. With so long in development, a well-meaning audience would expect more than this trash. The controls are horrible, and the server issues are immense. I can never connect to an actual game, and if I do, there’s so much lag it’s not even worth playing. Not to mention the loading times for such a simple game. It’s hard to imagine exactly what went wrong, but I imagine greed was a large factor. Full Review »

It is a good game but can you please add a feature were you can play offline and set up bots with changeable skill levels? It would be so good

Only buy it when you play with friends and the game is around 10-15 and have a group of people willing to buy it with ya .i wouldn't recommend it otherwise. The buttons are weird and there's no patterns that why is 'dump fun'
The game is first to 3W and you try to eliminate everyone by throwing the off the platform. Survival of the fittest
