    Only buy it when you play with friends and the game is around 10-15 and have a group of people willing to buy it with ya .i wouldn't recommend it otherwise. The buttons are weird and there's no patterns that why is 'dump fun' The game is first to 3W and you try to eliminate everyone by throwing the off the platform.    play with a group of friends and its a 9/10

    What a waste of time and money. Do not buy this. With so long in development, a well-meaning audience would expect more than this trash. The controls are horrible, and the server issues are immense. I can never connect to an actual game, and if I do, there’s so much lag it’s not even worth playing. Not to mention the loading times for such a simple game. It’s hard to imagine exactly whatWhat a waste of time and money. Do not buy this. It's a simple minded, multiplayer beat 'em up party game with physics that can often lead to some pretty funny stuff. Not much of a magnum opus of gaming or anything to make a top 10 list, but it doesn't need to be, thoughI barely touch this account, but I figure I would leave a good review because I think it's a lot of a fun and deserves a better rating than the mediocre one it has now. It's a simple minded, multiplayer beat 'em up party game with physics that can often lead to some pretty funny stuff. Not much of a magnum opus of gaming or anything to make a top 10 list, but it doesn't need to be, though I will admit it is a bit barebones for a $20 release. You can customize your player's outfits to a minimal degree and there are a couple different game modes, but it won't keep everybody's interest forever. Online isn't perfect. I do get disconnected sometimes and there is the occasional yet rare lag that will screw me over sometimes. Personally however, I haven't experienced any major server problems other people have mentioned where I was not able to find an available game, so I was still able to have a lot of fun with it. If you're looking for something new to play with friends in a hurry, Gang Beasts is a third of the cost of a typical AAA game, downloads infinitely faster and can often be more entertaining.… Expand

    Gang beasts is a flawed game. But it's incredibly fun and hilarious when playing with friends. It has it's issues with the server . But it can be patched. Also a little bit more stage variety .other then this it's a great social game. I have never laughed that much from a game.

    Still it really looks like early access game. I don`t know how the hell i`ve bought it for full price, that was really spontaneous decision that i regret. Promising mechanics, but really bad realisation

    The gameplay is not bad but thats about it with it.It doesnt even have a proper menu nor any progression, it doesnt even say how to play it or have any tutorial.The fighting mechanics have potential but everything else is just a mediocre.You can also get to battles where you are outmatched 1-2,It is more like a demo.Mediocre at best.

    Nothing like what I hoped it would be after spending a few hours hovering around it's floor demo at EGX it's still my favorite party game and never fails to start a giggle.

    This game takes fun to another level. Playing local or online, this is really fun and laughable game. The characters and environment makes it even more fun.

    Servers could be better and could be a bit more variation into it. Otherwise this is a really fun multiplayer game. I've never laughed so much when playing video games as I did when playing this.

    There is hardly any single player content apart from a wave mode that is very unbalanced. The online mode can be unstable. Only buy for multiplayer and even then, only on sale.

    This game is soo better playing with friends in your house. In its current state the game feels finished, but it could have more content.. in general is a good game but if you can try it first or buy it wen there are sales.

Gang Beasts is honestly a very underrated game and deserves more attention than it gets currently, with very few people playing it and not a lot of new content, apart from new costumes and maps, being implemented. While the servers may have initially been dodgy, the servers in 2019 are very functional, and remained smooth during my time online. The environmental hazards are another story, in a good way. The multiple hazards that accompany each map make each round more dynamic, meaning no two rounds will ever be the same, which helps significantly in the long run. If the game simply received more content, like game modes, then this game would be an easy 10 for me.… Expand

    Sure, the devs of gang beasts took forever to finish this thing, and it still feels unfinished, but it's been a fun couch game to muck around in since the start. Good for 15-20 minute play sessions on a couch gaming night.
    Haven't bothered with the online play.

    I enjoyed the game, it was fun with friends. That being said, my score would be a 6.5 out of 10 but am giving it a 10 because the other guy gave it a 0 for no reason when they said it was great (I guess they forgot to put a rating).

    This game is in a word “inconsistent.” The game mechanics have plenty of hidden features including certain clothing changing mechanics. Certain items of clothing absolutely do more damage than others, but again, not of it is stated anywhere. Not in tutorials or anything.

    its a wonderful and amazing game, but with the new update a lot of bugs came with it like the infinite loading glitch freezing lobby etc.., truly ruining the fun of this awesome friend based game

    A very fun game at its core....with horrible servers that lag either you or your friend out on about 70% of your games and only a handful of maps. It’s a shame that it never looks like they will fix these.

This game has a little bit of skill which is performing combos as quickly as possible.     My son begged me to get this game because he had played it and thought it would be fun for us. It kinda looked like Human Fall Flat to me, which is a game we enjoy playing together, so I bought it for $24.99. After playing it on and off for about a month now, I can say that this game should be a max of about $5, but free would be more like it. In 10 minutes of play, you’ve seen the entireMy son begged me to get this game because he had played it and thought it would be fun for us. The single player mode is basically nonexistent and 2 player mode is almost as bad. You can battle against other players in couch co-op or online, play a “soccer” type game which is terribly dull or battle four waves of enemies (you can’t change the difficulty setting or adjust the amount of enemies and it’s extremely easy to beat them). There’s only about 8 different battle levels, and only half of them are available when battling the waves of enemies. There is such little content in this game that I can’t believe they’re charging $25 for it. It seems as though they’ll never include more content either as I believe it’s remained unchanged for years now. The price is totally ridiculous when you can get games like Cuphead, Mega Man 11, Skyrim and freakin’ Subnautica for less than $25. Hell, the Inside/Limbo combo is $10 and is leagues better that GB. I could name 1000 games off the top of my head that would be a better $25 purchase. It plays like a phone game because well, that’s pretty much what it is. The sad part is that it has potential to be fun, but like I said after about 10 minutes of playing you’ve seen everything it has to offer. I guess if you have 8 players in couch co-op it might be fun… Avoid unless you can get it for free.… Expand

    Horrible doesn't load into any matches just stuck on loading screens $30 fuking dollars for this trash a scam havent been able to play a single game. I used to play this on computer about 5 years ago and it was fun but on ps4 its fuking horse **** f u devs i want a refund btw sorry for bad punctuation i rly couldnt be bothered and i just wanted to rant about wasting money on this heap of shiiit

    It is a silly game and humorous at times. However, it is not for me but my 8yrs old likes it more. It is really a party game as it has no story mode and not fun as a single player. The control is simple but not responsive. Most of the time, I just try to grab the opponent as other moves seem pointless or not effective.     This game is a literal cash grab, why would you play this over ANY other arena fighter. I don't know why it looks so fun when others play it but if you grab the controller on this one you will realise that this game isn't fun AT ALL.

    Even if I’m less than impressed with some of the game’s technical shortcomings and overbalancing, Gang Beasts still delivered some of the funniest moments I’ve had in gaming, and that joy will stay with me for some time.

    Gang Beasts never pretends to be a single-player experience; it's a party game through and through. Even though there's only so much depth that can be found in imprecisely manipulating ragdoll physics, the end result is still oddly compelling. While Gang Beasts is not the kind of game that will find its way into the eSports circuit, players will still find a lot to love as they fight and fall and laugh at all the ways they succeed or fail in its oddball arenas.
