    What a disappointment, again.. As always greed has taken over EA to invest most of their efforts into the money making UT... man I hate that gambling mode. They must be making an insane money with it, because the efforts in designing and improving other modes of this game are pathetic.     I was hoping that FIFA 21 would be the title to get me excited about next gen, about getting PS5 or new Xbox but it's far from. Its minimal, the story mode has been pretty much removed (yeah Volta is a cheap trick and a joke). The changes in Manager mode probably took a week for some junior designer to come up with. The menus are sad, boring and uninspiring, depressing almost. There is the excitement of soccer, the motion, the action and dynamic energy of players? So much missed opportunity. I am guessing and hoping its all due to little investment from EA in developing this game rather than skill of individuals working on the game. The game is a good replication of how football is experienced during this pandemic, there are some great moments of good football, buy overall its pretty lifeless and the energy is missing.    … Expand

    I've never been a fifa fan but I enjoyed playing fifa 19 and 20. Unfortunatelly fifa 21 is much worse than older versions. A plenty of bugs, poor mechanic, terrible goalkeepers, overpowered shots. Those who said the game is the same as previous fifa are wrong. This one is much much worse!! You only need to play against the AI to see the game has many exploits and broken mechanics. Let's not even mention the shielding technique which makes it impossible to get to the ball. Half the modes are not working at the moment including the new Volta Squads but FUT is working fine as usual. As a pro clubs player , it would be nice to get into a drop in match or not have to search up to 10 times just to get a game. Coming from Fifa 20 it's safe to say that we are playing Fifa 20 with a little more AI difficulty and responsive dribbling. In essence this is a fix/patch of the bugs that plagued Fifa 20. In terms of customer service, this is to be considered pathetic. Fifa has so much potential, yet it seems the folks over there look like they have been on vacation for some time now...… Expand

Game play in FUT is a joke the play is unreliable when 50 pace bronze are out running 94 pace rare gold players. The only thing they did was update teams. No Seria B (Italian 2nd league), Seria A got only 16 clubs licensed (no Juve, Roma, Spezia and Crotone) no Russian League (hasn't been in game since FIFA 19) no Chilean, Columbian & Brazilian league (but they have Copa Libertardores and Sudamericana fully licensed) no license for countries like Brazil, Croatia (WC runners up still not in theSo for 60$ you get less than previous FIFA(s). Volta, now it's much easier to score, grounds for VOLTA (I played 4v4) are same as last year. Don't buy, I didn't, it's not worth. As next month, new era starts for next-gen consoles it's easy to say FIFA on current generation was a miss.     FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck - in career mode on legendary    FIFA 21 feels like a "demo" game with lots of bugs - the genius behind "no demo this time" should be fired. It's been almost a week since the official release and the game hasn't get better at all:
    - slow players are just for the number on the pitch... they're useless
    - if you play ultimate team - it's the same game as ever Pay2Win and scripted as phuck
    - in career mode on legendary difficulty the AI use excesive skill moves (and when I say excessive, almost every step around your penalty area is a skill move, non required - needs just 2* skills for AI). Because of that it's rather difficult to take them on or anticipate anything... and every match has at least 9-10 goals: last 3 matches: 7-5 ; 4-4 and 5-4 (arcade game for sure). If I play lower difficulty(world class) then the scores are something like 12-0 ; 13-1 etc. - so, no fun either way
    If you didn't buy, just don't do it - play at a game center before buying - worst fifa ever.    … Expand

    Every shot is getting blockt by the OP defense.

    Please give us a fifa 2001 Remake. Even that would be better than this cancer of a "football simulation"

    This is the worst in the series in some time. It plays out like a cartoon. Any hint of realistic game play has been done away with to appease players that were unhappy last year with the pace system. Games can still feel scripted. Defender A.I. is still lacking and the career mode has changes but they are ones that no one really asked for. Goal Keepers are atrocious at every level.     Very sloppy game. The defending is atrocious. The passing is a joke. My blind grandmother can make a lob through pass in this game; anybody can it takes no skill. This is fifa 19 on steroids. EA has lost its quality, nothing like it once was. You would think it 2021 we would have a decent game but it seems like we’re far from that. Thanks a lot EA you have ruined FIFA.

Your opponent can easily press x x x x the whole game and boom! They score ! Your middle your defense does not track back it’s like they’re literally just running on an open field. The defending is just ridiculous! Even when trying to put your player back into position there is a big lag ! The through passes just go right in, your passing is horrible even when trying to pass it to a player

    No comments needed, the worst video-game saga in history. Copy-paste year by year and Ultimate team is a complete scam it doesnt care at all what you do with tour hands, the only pourpose of the game is that people spend most money posible. Its truthfully terrible.

    Online career mode is good but if you want to buy this game for the Pro Clubs mode - don't bother! Had the game since release and haven't been able to play no more than 20 games. Constant error message saying "Unable to connect to opponent". Fifa need to get their fingers out their ****'s and fix these bugs... £50 for what?

    I really hoped that this time the game will improve passing, defence and the server issues but unfortunately this issues are still present. The price for a game that is almost the same as the previous is just too expensive.

    The FIFA series desperately needs a fresh start. Right now, it relies mainly on the Ultimate Team mode and marketing, while going around in circles. Instead of leaping into the future, FIFA 21 takes half a step forward and two steps sideways in an attempt to differentiate itself from its predecessor well enough to rationalize spending money.
