Oct 13, 2021I'll be quick, that “classical edition” is a joke for these who played Far Cry 3 on PS3/X360, Because on PS4 it seems even worst, even the textures and lighting itself, the FPS wasn't that big deal as well, it'd stay under 25 most of time which makes that game totally unplayable, definitely doesn't worth it, if you're seeking to play it please pick up another platform instead

Apr 12, 2023Terrible port. The input lag, motion blur, and the unoptimized framerate on the ps5 makes the game unplayable. I am sad that I spent money thinking I would experience a classic. I shut it off after an hour. Aiming is impossible, the guns shoot like a money printer, aiming feels terrible, and the framerate makes it impossible to enjoy.
It's a damn shame. -

Jun 27, 2018Far Cry 3 still offers damn good time, and the Classic Edition is a great way to revisit Ubisoft’s influential classic or dive into it with fresh eyes. The tried-and-tested formula has advanced in recent years, leaving some aspects of Far Cry 3 to feel aged and inconsiderate, which could be too high a hurdle for newcomers to overcome.

Jun 26, 2018Far Cry 3 Classic Edition is a compelling journey into the past of the Ubisoft series. The game is still solid and enjoyable, full of things to do while exploring the island, but the remaster could have been better.

Jun 5, 2018This is a very straightforward port of Far Cry 3, a game loved and loathed in equal measure. The Classic Edition is a great way for newcomers to experience one of the best games in the series, despite some clunky controls. Many people will have made up their mind about Jason's journey years ago, but on its own merit, this is a competent re-release of a fun, if a little dated, open world shooter.
