    Before patch: Constant frame drops. Sometimes even dropping to under 15FPS making the game impossible to play

    After patch: "Fixed" framerate by downgrading the graphics and removing the fog. Only to have the game drop to 20FPS

    Another example of lazy developers with an outdated engine that focuses on 1 platform.

    I think despite the environment and characters that this falls short of the majority of former Fallout DLCs and even recent efforts such as Automaton.

    Performance suffers thank to the ever annoying fog and when the fog disperses there's very little to see.     Despite new enemies and new weapons the only noteworthy new thing the DLC brings to the table is the VR sections which are the most tedious, misplaced things in a game for years... They're ultimately neither challenging or interesting and the quest could have functioned easily without them.

    In the end the decisions you have to make are fairly hollow and little is given in the way of character development to decide the fate of the islanders.

    Moving forward, Bethesda really need to up their game as this for me was bordering on Dead Money standards...

    Positives;

    Challenging new enemies
    New areas to explore
    New weapons and quests

    Negatives;

    Performance takes a hit due to fog
    Some interesting new camera glitches
    Island drab and mostly looks the same throughout
    VR section (one of the most ill-judged, worst piece of gaming I can remember)
    Leaves very little by way of legacy to take back to the main game    … Expand

    Dont buy this dlc till they fix the framerate issue. as of may 27 2016, the frame rate is horrendous in the dlc area on the PS4. The fog in the island causes massive frame rate drops if I had to guess the frame rate goes below 18 in many areas. it makes combat outside of VATS very difficult. I stop playing the dlc because of the framerate issues so my playtime of the dlc is very limited.Dont buy this dlc till they fix the framerate issue. as of may 27 2016, the frame rate is horrendous in the dlc area on the PS4.     DO NOT BUY UNFINISHED PRODUCT
    Glitches and low frame rate caps ruin the experience main quest glitched out for me with a NPC dissapearing. Yes I know I'm reviewing the PS4 version people seem to think that others were reviewing the wrong platform not that that is an excuse to release a mess of a game.     I agree with the reviewers whose scores are based on the performance of the expansion. It's hard to progress in the new survival mode when the game freezes or crashes as often as it does in Far Harbour, and I've experienced a few glitches with getting stuck in the environment, and with basic gun functionality (the animation for the lever-action rifle, what's up with that?) that show thatI agree with the reviewers whose scores are based on the performance of the expansion.     Dreadful frame rate at times, I mean like very bad. I've played Homefront and it even beats that in bad frame rate. The DLC brings nothing memorable. Possibly 1 of the most underwhelming DLCs after playing some of the best stuff out there recently.

    One of the most crash happy DLCs to date. Interesting concept but it felt way too similar to point lookout. It's the dialog system is what is holding back this game. Any and all witty or charm replies that were a staple of the series are long gone. The DLC boils down into walkabout-shootup-task-manager, with uninteresting or rehashed faction choices. Wait until the summer sale to pick this dlc up.

    Here you travel to an island that should been in the game at launch. To discover the mystery of why the FPS drops to 15-20 99% of the time. Far Harbor also features new weapons and armor. That was going to be in the game at launch ($$$). But! It also features boring, dull, repetitive quests and locations. Also badly    Far Harbor is the latest dissapointment of Fallout 4 DLCs.

    Original game was pure 10, but seems they are lost in making DLC's. DiMA's Memories Puzzle is unnecessary and pretty bad and boring puzzle mini game which was more annoying than fun!

    This DLC could be a great one, but the drop on frame rate makes it unplayable. I just stop playing until Bethesda fix this problem or I buy a PS4 NEO.

    Cant see enemies. Dont know where they shooting from. Dogmeat gets in the way while i am looting. Asking me to kill raiders in a factory or some crap but the raiders dont come to me! I must find them and then kill them? Grenade markers are worthless. CRAP GAME WASTE OF TIME. STUPID BETHESDA. EAT 0 NOOB DEVS. CANT EVEN MAKE GAME THESE STUPID DEVS.

    After the smaller and less satisfying DLCs that came before, it’s nice to have something larger and deeper to add to my Fallout 4 experience. Although this is really just more Fallout, Bethesda hit a high note here.

    Far Harbor sits somewhere between a San Francisco noir and a Stephen King thriller. There are things lurking in the fog that you've never seen before. And warring factions fight for both the fog's preservation and eradication. And see if you can stay on task long enough to find the missing girl, too. Far Harbor is a neat collection of short stories in the Fallout 4 novel.

    Fallout 4 was a strong game, but it had some weak spots when it came to the visuals, the challenge, the storytelling and the RPG elements. Bethesda obviously listened to the critique, as Far Harbor actually is a tad better than the original game.
