May 14, 2016Great graphics, Great gameplay, blood, guns, demons, no story. It is a Doom game. If you are looking for anything else you will be disappointed. Everything is updated for modern times but the original formula is there. Have not tried multiplayer yet, but if it is any good it will be icing on the cake. If you are playing s game for multiplayer try call of duty.

May 13, 2019One of the few shooters that feels better on a controller
Great game and great console version. -
Nov 30, 2019Fantastic game all the way around. Non stop action, great graphics, lots of gore, and decent story. Doom was a lot of fun, I thoroughly enjoyed finding every secret in all the levels, unlocking collectibles, and classic maps. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys fast paced FPS.

Jan 15, 2017Some of the most intense single player battles I can ever remember. Couldn't ask for much more, aside from more bosses & less confusing level designs. DIdn't try multiplayer, but graphics & controls were spot on

Mar 15, 2017Great game, great gameplay, great graphics, great sound design and great soundtrack.
Lousy story and the multiplayer isn't a lot of fun. SnapMap is good though.
Not much replayability. -

Mar 18, 2020Doom(2016) is a thrilling and intense joyride. The game is a beautiful gore fest and well stylized. Each weapon feel powerful and unique in their own ways. The Arena based level design blends well with the various enemy types (but **** those exploding Lost Souls). The story is pretty mild but is somewhat interesting.

Apr 20, 2020this game was good but it was very repetitive you could beat the game using only 2 weapons if you wanted to the Gauss cannon and super shotgun. overall an amazing game and one of my favorite games of all time
-
Apr 29, 2019Intense for sure, but I'm not a fan of the lack of epic story moments. Mostly the game just does its thing and goes on and on with few stand-out moments. Games like Uncharted present much more cinematic and epic campaigns.

Mar 23, 2020Good reboot of the doom games. Captures the combat intensity of the classic games but brings the series up to speed with modern mechanics and technology. Upgrading equipment is a lot of fun. Combat can get a bit tedious since there isn't much to break up the shooting aspect of the game. I also wish there were more narrow spaces and hallways like the original games had.

Dec 1, 2016Doom honors its legacy while setting the stage for a new era for the long dormant franchise. Intimately gory encounters and a surprising emphasis on story more than make up for the bland multiplayer.
-
Aug 10, 2016Exactly the right amount of old and new, DOOM is an adrenaline rush that borders on overwhelming in the best possible way.

Edge MagazineJul 24, 2016Doom's shimmering, bombastic combat is as absorbing as it is revelatory. [Aug 2016, p.100]
